Making his way from the Medical Wing of Las Noches was Kyoshin Agotar, nursing a few small injuries which usually he'd be proud of. Scars were proof of ones strength, ones machismo, they were nothing to be stitched... And yet, stitched he was, from his latest scuffle with the Lord of the Deep. He liked fighting, Arrancar were supposed to fight, but this time his feelings were greatly different. It was childish, but above anything, he felt bullied, he felt indignant. Kyoshin had been sleeping when Karzan walked into his room and started tearing the place apart, demanding a fight, one Kyoshin wanted no part in...
He shook his head. Why was he thinking this way? It was pathetic, Arrancar didn't bemoan fights... They shouldn't care if their mentor was ruthless and sadistic, they shouldn't find it disheartening to know that their leader was going to tear the world apart... But he did. He felt betrayed, he'd once seen Karzan as strong and wise, an Arrancar with a vision that could lead them all, but his Lord of late had been cruel, irrational, and seemed to relish in the pain he inflicted upon his followers. More than anything, Kyoshin wanted others to see his wounds and feel... sorry for him.

Rose quietly let her petite feet walk across the marble surface of the floor, delicate and nearly silent. Her face carried the same calm blankness that it always did thanks to the hollow mask remnants around where her eyes would be. The halls here had somehow grown darker though in her seer’s sight…the result of the absence of the other arrancar. Virgil, Abel, and even some of the adjucha’s that followed them had disappeared or met a terrible fate. The invasion in the human realm had to be stopped for the espada to recuperate due to these losses, and Rose felt lonely as a result. She very much missed Virgil’s arrogant and egotistical boasting or Abel’s chilling yet casual demeanor. Some might call them flaws but it was what made the two high ranking espada stand out to her; it made them a joy to be around for Rose.
But there absence was not the full extent to her sudden loneliness. Kyoshin, upon returning home, had resided himself to his chambers. Rose had not “seen” him in quite some time. Worried she had been for her commander, for just before their return he had made it quite clear what his stance was against the Lord of the Deep. The two had been fighting a lot, and when they were not, they plotted quietly away from each other AND Rose. She felt nearly useless ever since their return to Hueco Mundo…so here she was, walking down familiar halls that radiated with hues of gray.
The gray coloring was disturbed, to her surprise, as she passed by the medical wing of their castle. Darkness consumed her vision as she turned her head in its direction, causing her stop her movements suddenly. She recognized the disappearance of her seer sight as a sign that Kyoshin was nearby; his reiatsu’s coloring had that effect on her unfortunately.
“Kyoshin?” She questioned hesitantly with her soft voice. Her hands were placed against the wall to guide her further into the darkened area; her movements were slow as it was much more difficult to perceive the shape of the room. “Kyoshin…are you in here?” She questioned with hope in her voice. The female espada had wished to check on her commander for some time, but always feared retaliation from the Lord of the Deep. Karzan was like a father to her so it was hard to do what she wanted when she knew it would upset him.

Then, Kyoshin heard his name. Softly spoken, from the distance it was but a whisper, yet he recognized it, and the voice that spoke it... Sure enough, the Tercero Espada, Rose Leocadia stood before him, her hands up against the wall to guide her. He suddenly remembered the effect his black Reiatsu had upon her vision, and in a flash he'd rushed to her side, gently catching her by the shoulders as he replied softly, "Yes, I'm here, Rose."
Being around the Tercero always calmed Kyoshin somewhat, for reasons he couldn't understand her presence was always a comfort to him. She wasn't like the other Arrancar at all, she was kind, almost compassionate... Already the young Arrancar had forgotten his complaints and fight with Karzan, as there was something brought out in him by Rose that took his mind off himself and the problems he felt at hand. "I... I'm glad you're here, Rose. Glad... I'm getting to see you. Are you alright?"

A small gasp of surprise escaped her breath as she was gently guided by someone else, her first instinct would have been to retailiate, but she recongnized the grip almost instantly. A soft smile appeared on the pale arrancar’s face as she heard the voice of her commander, confirming that he was indeed in front of her. “Kyoshin,” She repeated his name with a sense of happiness in her voice.
“I’m glad to be, ahem, seeing you as well,” She continued, poking fun at his choice of words by placing emphasis on "seeing", “but yes…I am fine. I have been performing my duties as requested by the Lord of the Deep, but beyond that I have merely been resting to regain some of my lost strength and waiting for when we make our next move. Things have been...quiet for me with the others...gone.” She gently placed her hands to Kyoshins arms and lightly removed them from her shoulders. Her hands would feel the scaring and injuries that he had sustained; most likely from his last fight with the Lord of the Deep; her smile faded as her masked head tilted down towards where Kyoshins arms would be.
She knew instantly what had happened and it disheartened her. It was not exactly a surprise, but in the back of her mind she had hoped that perhaps there was another reason her commander was in the medical wing...a foolish hope, it would seem.“…You fought with him again…didn’t you?” Rose’s accused though her voice was not angry, it was concerned. “Kyoshin…” She sighed, releasing her grip on his arms, separating the two. She remained silent for several moments, her blank expression hiding whatever she was thinking. "Are you...are you badly hurt?" She finally asked, not wanting him to think she was angry with him.

Casually smirking at Rose's tease, Kyoshin was obviously happy until Rose noticed his scars, at which point his smile faded along with hers. He didn't want her concerned, but she was.
"N-no, I mean, I'm fine. Rock-hard Hierro, y'know?" he responded hurriedly, grinning and talking tough in hopes that she would be consoled. "These are nothing, Karzan just wanted to make a point, I guess..."
He trailed off, something evident in his voice that all was not well as he became thoughtfully silent. Why was Karzan like this? Perhaps Kyoshin had expected his master to be something he wasn't, they were all Hollows on the inside, after all. "He was like a father to me, too, you know, back when I joined the Arrancar. I wanted to serve him the best I could... I wish it was still like that now."

Kyoshin smirked towards Rose, who of course was oblivious to the action as she could not see him in the slightest. Kyoshin was unique among the espada, the color that bathed him was the same darkness that Rose’s vision normally was. Unlike the others, she was unable to discern anything about him when she “looked” at him. She knew not what he appeared as; everything about him was a mystery. Like the other espada, it was something she enjoyed about his presence. Though while she could never truly see him, whether through her blindness or because of the color of his reiatsu…she did understand him.
She certainly could tell when he was downplaying his battle with their leader. “I’m sorry, Kyoshin, I didn’t want to insult your strength. You are much more powerful than I could ever hope to be. I just worry, that's all...” She apologized, thinking that his display of machismo was because she had upset him. Kyoshin continued speaking of why the two battled…another argument…another attempt from Karzan to let Kyoshin see things his way. It was like Karzan wanted Kyoshin to figure things out for himself; he was capable at anytime of warping his mind…if he really wanted Kyoshin could be a slave to his will. But Karzan was not like that…he wanted Kyoshin to be by his side of his own freewill.
“Things still could still be like that!” She blurted out rather suddenly, clearly upset about what was happening to her family. She nearly tripped over from her own sudden movements, but caught herself on the wall nearby. “I mean…” She trailed off quietly, her voice returning to its soft tone. It was true; she truly just wanted things as they were, when Karzan first ruled. When the espada respected one another. “If…if you did your best and fought along side him once again I think…no I’m sure Lord Karzan would return to normal…that he’d be more willing to listen to you…” She tried to explain, though even she did not sound like she truly believed in those words. Rose knew Karzan; knew how he acted. The time for such a thing had passed…there was no fixing this. Rose wanted to believe otherwise. "What's happened to us...?"

"You aren't insulting my strength..." Kyoshin replied slowly, surprised by her sudden apology. "Rose, your desire for power and the rate at which you grow stronger are linked. If you seek to be strong, if you have a reason to fight, then your strength will know no bounds." He grinned assuredly, before again realizing she wouldn't be able to see his emotion. It was after he'd continued explaining his fight with Karzan that she cried out and nearly lost her balance. As she stumbled his hand shot out to steady her, but it barely grazed her when she regained balance herself, and trying not to invade her personal space, he withdrew, despite finding that part of himself rather wanted to be... close to her.
"I want to," he said, frustration clear in his voice. "I've wanted to fight by him, I want to be loyal. But..." He hesitated, desperately not wanting to hurt Rose, but equally scared that Karzan would himself if Kyoshin didn't now. "He's done things to me... Things to my mind. Things to bring me pain, to make me hate him. He... he's even forced me to mutilate myself."
He scowled, knowing the pain he was bringing Rose in telling her these things. He wanted to reach out to her, to wrap her in his arms and tell her it was all okay, that they would all they a family, but he knew it wasn't true. "Rose... I-I'm sorry. I hate this, I don't wanna hurt you... But... I want to protect you. I don't want... him to hurt you, like he's hurt me."

“…” Rose’s head lowered her head somberly as her commander’s hand grazed against her arm lightly. The action was odd yet subtle; he made an attempt to grab hold of her but stopped suddenly. For normal beings this would be easy to identify as avoiding entering personal space, but for hollow it was very common for them to not exactly know this. She recalled her first meeting with Virgil, who had punched her as hard as he could just to see how durable her hierro was; knowing full well he had enough power behind his attack to bypass it. That was certainly an invasion of personal space, but she had never held it against the older segunda. A part of her knew immediately why Kyoshin withdrew so quickly, however.
Silently, she listened to what he said. He made it clear that Karzan had done things to him that were horrid and terrible; that he has manipulated him for his own devices. A part of her was confused; this was how the Lord of the Deep acted. Of course he would harm the other espada; it was what he needed to do to teach them and help them grow…right? The arrancar were wild and untamed and Their Lord used force to make them act as espada should; it was how he taught them of their nature and of the world.
Her heart sank; whether it was the right thing for Karzan to do or not he had turned Kyoshin completely against him. Her loyalty to the Lord of the Deep was unquestionable but Kyoshin was just as close to Rose. She had always been prepared to attack those who would betray Karzan, to prevent them from destroying their family…but the idea of raising a blade to Kyoshin made her sick. She did not, could not do that. Rose could not let that time come, where she would need to chose on where her loyalties stood. She needed Kyoshin to forget about his ideas of betraying their master.
The commander apologized again, his voice echoing to her through the darkness, his voice desperate and concerned. The way he of Rose was making it clear to her that he had grown quite fond of her which only conflicted her mind more. “Kyoshin, please…you mustn’t say things like this. If Lord Karzan heard these words or saw how you...felt...he would surely punish us both…or worse. These are not the words of an arrancar.” She took a step back, distancing the two slightly. “Please; Karzan is planning on a second attack on the human world correct? Please, we just need to follow him into this battle…just one more time at least. He’ll win; we’ll win and prove that he is still a leader worth following! That all of the things he has done were for the best!” She called out desperately, throwing her hands to her side. “Just one last chance…please.” She begged her commander.

"He won't," Kyoshin said, his voice sounding with a certain anger, not directed at her, but at Karzan. "I won't let him... I'm stronger than him, I can protect us both... I won't let anyone hurt you." He went silent, almost just as conflicted as Rose was. If any could convince him not to rebel, however, it would be her...
Stepping forward again, his eyes to the ground, Kyoshin finally said, "One... One more chance. For you. I'll fight alongside all of you, I'll follow his orders. Maybe everything will get better..." And part of him really did hope that it was as Rose said. He had looked up to Karzan, and more than anything, he wanted to have his old mentor back...

Rose sighed softly towards Kyoshins determination to protect her from Karzan or anyone who would harm her and him. “Protect us…” The truth was though that if Karzan were to harm her that, to her, it was deserved and that there would be a purpose behind it. She was an arrancar after all; pain and battle were a part of her life just as much as it was for the other espada and hollow. Sure, she did not revel in it like most of the others, but she was a fighter as well. For Kyoshin to suggest she needed protection meant that she was still a weak arrancar; still not strong enough to for them. Those were not Kyoshins intentions with his words, but Rose was shameful towards her handicap and tried to strive to not hold the others back. When they made comments like that, it felt like she was failing.
Her face, however, did not reflect these thoughts, it remained the same stoic yet delicate face that she normally had. She kept her thoughts to herself until Kyoshin finally relented on following Karzan into battle one last time. “Thank you, Kyoshin…” She spoke softly; her voice was that of relief. “If Karzan can succeed in this battle then that has to mean something about his teachings…” Rose reasoned before turning herself away from her commander. Her vision was filled with the gray hues of the building that were masked while focusing her “vision” on Kyoshin.
“But, Kyoshin, please…I understand you wish to protect me; be there for me…” She spoke up gentley as she took a few steps towards the edge of the hall they stood on, peering out a window that viewed the vast sand outside, “But we are arrancar under Lord Karzan’s rule. Hollow like us can not make such promises…it is dangerous to make alliances like that among our kind. You have seen what happens to those who think like that...” She tried to explain, her hair being lifted lightly by the wind outside. “I must be strong and protect myself…or I am no espada.”

His teachings... Kyoshin felt like he was dying on the inside, he'd tried to tell Rose everything, yet she still saw Karzan as their perfect leader. She was unshakable... But why? How could everyone still see Karzan like that, when Kyoshin himself felt so betrayed... All he'd ever wanted was to learn from and obey Karzan, and the Lord of the Deep was forcing him down, making them again the enemies they were as Hollows. And no one else saw it that way, Kyoshin was the only one seen as disloyal, rebellious, foolish... He'd been isolated, Karzan was going to make him everyone's enemy, then he'd perish alone, as a heretic, at the hands of his fellow Espada...
Of course, that was as he saw things. On the inside, becoming an Arrancar, while certainly failing to replace his dominant, bloodthirtsy Hollow mentality, had created a more immature, childlike side to his intellect, a side of him that simply wanted affirmation. Once, the Lord of the Deep himself had realized it, when at the end of their fight Kyoshin angrily demanded that Karzan admit he'd been beaten. 'Are you a child? Are you that desperate for my approval?' had been his Lord's derisive reply. But he'd struck the truth without knowing it. Kyoshin had seen Karzan as his father, a being of power he respected and admired, and all Kyoshin had desperately wanted in return was acceptance, something he received less and less of as everything went on.
Then he was despairing again as Rose turned down his promise of loyalty, telling him the things he knew were true about being an Arrancar that he wished were not. He knew attachment was weakness, that protecting was not in a Hollow's nature, nor could it ever be... After a long silence, he finally said, "I'm sorry, Rose, you're right. I shouldn't offer protection... We all must count on ourselves, and I was insulting your strength. You aren't weak, though..."
Raising his eyes, Kyoshin watched her as she 'looked' out the window, unable to help from feeling something towards her, though what it was he didn't know, being himself a stranger to emotions as a Hollow. After another silence, he slowly walked her way, a small grin forming on his lips as he stood next to her, looking at the sands. "You see us in colors, correct? Us Espada? But not me, because of my Reiatsu? I think, what you have... It's like my Pesquisa, but something you developed yourself unconsciously. You could refine it, though... With some practice, you might even be able to see me with it. Pesquisa senses Reiatsu, regardless of shade, and if you refine it enough it can detect even sudden movements that your other senses cannot. Maybe, I could help you train to use it?"

“I…thank you for the kind words.” Listening to Kyoshin apologize for his offer of loyalty was expected, but something about it still stung within her when they both mutually agreed it would be for the best to avoid such an alliance. A small frown appeared on her face as she peered out the window; the thing was she did not know why it felt like that when they had agreed. It was wrong to have such attachment to his or her fellow espada, she knew this, but a part of her deep down was still upset that it could not be. It was hard for her to recognize this though, and so it left her feeling confused and unsure of her own beliefs. Was it right to have denied him such attachment?
As she thought on this, Rose would hear Kyoshin approaching her and apparently look out the window himself to see the sands below. Lesser hollows scurried about, examining the area around los noches for things to feed on and for the means to survive. Watching them only further reminded Rose how hollow should act, and gave her the chance to put these emotions to the side for now.
The commander too now, seemed to put his emotions aside as he asked her of her vision. Rose was relieved, and happily answered her superior’s question. “Yes…my vision is based off the hues of reiatsu radiating from everything around us.” Her hand rubbed against the surface of the windowsill as she explained, “The walls of los noches are outlined to me in shades of gray, while Lord Karzan appears to me as his teal reiatsu. …But your reiatsu’s color hides you from me.” Kyoshin seemed to have a firm understanding of how her seer’s sight worked, and he recognized why she could not see him.
“You could…train me to better use Pesquisa?” She repeated, sounding somewhat surprised. Was there a chance she would be able to “see” Kyoshin? …A part of her did want that. She reflected on how before she became an arrancar how lonely she had been, it was only when the espada had found her did she finally have a home. Things had gotten bad, but at least she still had the company of her fellow espada like her commander. “I...I have always been curious as to what you look like,” she admitted with a light smile on her face, “If you are willing to train me, I will listen.”

"Here," he offered, taking her hand gently and leading her down the hall, if she would follow. "Let's find some more room for this..."
He found himself smiling as he walked with Rose, somehow rather enjoying the small bit of physical contact, even though he told himself it was merely to guide her. He was just helping, there wasn't anything... else to it. "See, Pesquisa differs in technique from user to user," he further explained as he made him way through Las Noches. "Some meditate and use it like a radar, others use it like a circuit, where they place their finger to the ground and a power 'connects' them with what they're trying to sense, either way giving them an accurate scope of their enemy's power. I tend to spend much of my time in the darkness, where sight isn't as reliable, so my Pesquisa has been honed to where I needn't even look an enemy's direction to know their whereabouts. It's just a reflex for me now, if I'm alert, I can sense exact locations without looking."
It wasn't long before the two reached a large, empty corridor, with vaulted ceilings hundreds of feet about their heads, held up by massive columns, some over two hundred feet apart. Letting go of her hand, Kyoshin kept walking just a little ways ahead of Rose, then turned around and resumed talking. "Your perception of Reiatsu is already quite strong, but you rely too heavily on the visual stimulus, the colors themselves. I'm going to put my Reiatsu around you now, and all you'll be able to 'see' is black."
And as he spoke, he did so, forcing his Reiatsu down on Rose, not enough that she would feel any pressure or falter, but enough that it was the only shade she could see. "I want you to shut out the color. Ignore the darkness, try to close your mind to it. Don't see the color, see the Reiatsu itself... And see where it's coming from. This might take some time, but it's worth a try... I want you to try and attack me. Both our Hierro are strong enough that we can't cut eachother, so don't worry about harming me. Just shut out the blackness, then try to attack." After he'd spoken, he started moving slowly, not enough to make a noise or terribly confuse her, but just so she wouldn't use the sound of his voice as a way to 'spot' him.

Rose felt pressure against her hand as Kyoshin offered to guide her. She was somewhat hesitant, but accepted the grip if only to make it easier for Kyoshin to lead her to where he wished to train her senses. It was a bit unexpected, but she did not seem too perturbed by it; it didn't make her uncomfortable. If anything she was just more surprised that he wished to train her immediately. “Right now…are you sure? Your wounds…” she reminded him quietly as they drifted down the halls towards the much larger room. It was silly to remind him though as she already knew how that regardless of whatever his condition was that he would say he “was fine.”
Leading her down the hall Kyoshin went on to describe the nature of Prequisa to Rose, the female arrancar nodding intently to the words she heard from the darkness in front of her. She absorbed the each bit of information he gave to her. "I see…I have come to rely too heavily on the seer's sight, you're right.” She spoke up sincerely, gaining a quick firm grasp on the abilities and purpose of Prequisa. Of course, such a power was a natural ability of hollow and arrancar, but as Kyoshin had said his was far more refined than hers.
Rose’s vision was filled the columns of red reiatsu that held back hues of a blue-ish gray ceiling. It was like a water painting, the colors shifted and moved as energy was absorbed and released by the inanimate objects around her. When Kyoshin warned her of hiding her vision in darkness, her face shows a small frown. “O-okay,” She hesitantly agreed; a part of her somewhat fearful of losing her only means of sight, even if it were temporary. Rose flinched somewhat at the sudden increase in spiritual pressure, though it was not enough to dull her movements. Soon the colors around her would distort to become much harder to discern, the columns began to blend into the darkness that spread from the center of the room. It did not completely blind her from the colors, but the room now appeared like a shattered puzzle; with the sections missing being encased in the dark reiatsu that Kyoshin generated.
“Yes commander, I’ll do my best…” She delicately announced as her hand lowered for her zanpakuto, which to her appeared as a pole of light amongst the dark…a beacon. “Ignore the darkness…” Rose said, repeating her commander’s words of wisdom. She readied her blade in front of her by placing both hands on its hilt. Looking forward, it was nearly impossible for her to discern his presence but she moved ahead towards it only hiding her vision more. At first, when her mind realized it could no longer perceive its “sight,” it subconsciously made her focus on sound instead. She tried to listen for his footsteps carefully and though he moved quietly she could faintly hear his movement. However, she was not relying on her reiatsu, and as she swung into the darkness Kyoshin would see himself that her strike was shoddy guess work that had no chance of hitting him.

Stepping forward and catching her sword as it swung through the air, Kyoshin frowned slightly, seeing enough to know that Rose wasn't using Pesquisa yet. He shouldn't have been disappointed, it was expected that she wouldn't get it on her first try, but part of him had almost hoped that she would. Time for a new strategy...
"You need more focus, Rose," Kyoshin said, releasing her sword and taking a step back. "I'm going to try something a bit different." Suddenly raising his hand, he charged a Bala and shot it at a nearby light source, putting it out and quickly doing the same to most of the others in the room. Of course, he wasn't putting out the lights for Rose, he needed the darkness for himself. Once most of the light was gone and only a few stray beams were to be found in the room, Kyoshin dissolved himself into the darkness, keeping much of his form and Reishi clumped together but insubstantial so that his feet were no longer touching the floor. Now, he could move and not make a single sound...
"I'm using Esparcir," Kyoshin explained to the Tercero, "Maybe you noticed a change in my Reiatsu? Now I'm part of the shadows... I will make no noise to distract you from my location. I want you to try and find me again... Follow your senses." Using his Sombra Impulsar technique, he moved silently and still in his Reishi form, so Rose wouldn't use his voice to find him but still would have none of her first 5 senses to distract her. It was very basic, he just needed her to find the source of his Reiatsu, where she felt all of the darkness coming from, then he'd go from there and help her refine it.

Rose felt the pressure against her sword as Kyoshin grabbed hold of it. “More focus…I’m sorry, Kyoshin.” She sighed with a bit of shame in her voice. She disliked her weaknesses, and her sight was certainly one of them. She always feared her handicap would hold back the other arrancar, that eventually they would be fed up with her as a result and abandon her. It made her have some what of a quite desperation in her movement and body language; as if each action were being judged by the others…even if it really was not. In way though, it made her a better arrancar as a result; she would always strive to be stronger and not lag behind the others so that they never would want to leave her.
Rose remained silent as Kyoshin destroyed some of the light sources in the room. Of course, this had little effect on her sight so she assumed it was not for her but for him to better use his unique abilities with shadows. No sooner did she think this that she felt the dispersion of his reiatsu; it was as if he had “thinned” out over a large stretch over her, like he was no longer “whole.” The commander continued to explain how the training would work, and the soft features on the woman’s face nodded silently in response to what he said.
Once he had fallen silent, it would be impossible for her to rely on sound to find him…and her seer’s sight was useless thanks to the hue of his reiatsu. Pettily her legs floated off the floor, leaving her a few inches from the ground. She would drift around the room, slowly, cautiously. Her mind worked like a machine, trying to process and pinpoint the source of his reiatsu. It was hard, she was very much use to not relying on main part of her presquisa, instead relying on the “sight” it usually generated for her.
A few attempts would go by as time past. For awhile, it could have resembled a game of tag between friends…perhaps eventually enjoyable for the tercero espada as she glided around the room, trying to find her hidden friend. Each attempt, she would get closer and closer. While his reiatsu still hid his appearance to her, his reiatsu was becoming more familiar to her…she was slowly beginning to understand how to sense it. Pressing up against a near by wall, she pushed off it, gliding towards the commander one more time, her sword swinging horizontally. If she was careful enough, the arc of the swing would graze against his body…though his hierro would of course protect him from any damage.

"Don't be, it's alright," Kyoshin said softly, hearing the emotion in Rose's voice and hating himself for it. He wanted to make her stronger, but couldn't stand himself for making her feel weak. Nonetheless, they both fell silent and resumed the training, the Second in Command feeling almost helpless with all the things he wanted to convey to Rose but couldn't.
But slowly he began to smile as he watched the Tercero gliding around the room, rather encouraged by her gradual improvement. A few times she nearly 'caught' him and barely missed, but finally one of her swings struck true, making contact with Kyoshin's Hierro. Grinning with a triumph that carried over into his voice, the young Arrancar said victoriously, "You got me."
She had the basic sense down, she seemed to have slowly adapted to his Reiatsu, but techniques couldn't be slow... Anything an Arrancar learned needed to be reflexive and precise, a skill useable in the heat of battle. So now, he had to teach Rose speed. Using Sonido in his insubstantial form, he moved away from Rose silently, carefully watching to see if she noticed that he'd changed locations before he spoke.
"Now, I'm going to speed things up a bit, see if you can keep up with me using that Pesquisa of yours." Then he Sonido'd right next to her, completely silent and not making physical contact, just observing how quickly she reacted to his presence, if she could still sense it. After only a few seconds he moved again, this time a few yards away, before again propelling himself at the Tercero and showing up merely inches from her, while still keeping from touching.

www.youtube.com/watch/?v=ZGOLjgXCJaE&feature=relatedRose seemed to beam with a certain happiness at her accomplishment, peacefully floating around the general area where she had succeeded. Even though it had taken some time, she silently felt…well, good. It was rare where she did not feel like she lagged behind the others, and it was nice to be able to accomplish the task her commander had given her in a relatively short amount of time. It felt as if Rose’s heart skipped a beat, however, as Kyoshin preformed his silent sonido, causing her to instinctively feel around to see if something had changed in the environment. It wasn’t exactly enough for her to know he had sonido’d away from her, but enough for the seeress to feel that something had changed. This indeed was confirmed when her ears twitched to the sound of her fellow arrancar from further into the room. Again, she felt the tinge of his presence moving as he sonido’d behind her. By the time she had felt it and noticed the difference in her “senses,” he had already disappeared to another area. The tercero kept herself stationary, floating slightly off the ground while she waited again…using her pesquisa to “feel” the air around her. Briefly, her sight flashed a moving outline close to her; it was Kyoshin’s outline. It was as if her pesquisa and her seer’s sight, if only for a moment, allowed her to visualize the arrancar. When he sonido’d next to her, she managed to grab hold of his arm and with a smile she happily proclaimed, “Got you!”

"You've done it, Rose," Kyoshin said, unable to restrain his smile. He welcomed the feel of her hand against his bare arm, as of yet unsure how exactly she'd detected him, but as she'd been able to locate him so quickly it was definitely a solid technique now. "And so quickly, too... See, what did I say? If you desire power, then your power will grow. Don't think of weakness as a permanent state. All the power you need is inside of you, it's just waiting to be called upon."
Due to Kyoshin's previous Sonido and where Rose had grabbed him, the two Arrancar were standing unusually close, but right then Kyoshin didn't feel like moving away. With the arm Rose wasn't grabbing, the onyx Arrancar placed his hand on her shoulder to add assurance to his words, truly wanting Rose to understand him and stop cursing her weakness. She was strong, and could be stronger, she just needed a desire to be that way.
After a pause Kyoshin's curiosity took over and he asked her, "So, can you see me? I'm sorry if not, Pesquisa is a more combative technique, but I figured, with your Seer's Sight, you might be able to..."

“I did it…” She joyfully repeated as Kyoshin congratulated her. The higher ranked espada tried motivating her with his words and, for the most part, it worked. For once, Rose did not feel so helpless…she did not feel like she was holding back the rest of her family. With Kyoshin’s help her ability to visualize reiatsu was stronger than ever; for once she felt like an equal to the other arrancar…if only for a little bit. She could tell that succeeding had made Kyoshin happy; perhaps it would make even Lord Karzan happy to see how she has improved. Gaining their approval meant so much to her.
His voice called to her once more; with curiosity he asked if she was able to see him with a more focused Pesquisa. “Somewhat…” She admitted, as her bandaged face seemed to stare both at him and past him all at once. "It’s like…a blur, or an outline. By using my Pesquisa along with my seer’s sight, I can visualize your presence…but nothing else.” She tried to explain, although she knew already that her “vision” was hard to understand unless you could experience it first hand. “That’s typical of most anything for me though…Lord Karzan compared it to looking at a water painting. Thanks to your help though, it will be easier to locate others in the heat of battle.”
When Kyoshin placed a reassuring hand upon Rose’s shoulder the female arrancar lowered her head, as if in thought or hesitation, before suddenly moving forward and bringing her arms around Kyoshin in a tight hug. Dainty, her quiet voice spoke up to the espada, “Thank you,” she said with a sincerity that was so rare among hollow, let alone arrancar. For a moment she would remain like that before familiar thoughts crept into her head. She would remove herself from the hug, slowly drifting a small distance between them again.
An action of affection like that was a weakness to hollow. It was something that could be used to exploit them, and as Rose had said before, both she and Kyoshin knew the risks of putting trust in another arrancar. It was dangerous. Silently she would curse herself for her actions. “I’m sorry.” She added, though it was almost a whisper. Her white hair seemed to float forward in front of her face as she glided backwards away from him. “We must not form this kind of attachment…” She warned softly, to him and herself. Only a little while ago she had warned him of these things…and yet here she had gone and just contradicted herself. “We mustn’t.” The espada repeated as she turned her back from him.
It was here that the espada seemed to return to her normal disposition; her tone reflected her normal introverted behavior. “Please…just prepare for the battle ahead…and give Lord Karzan the chance to prove his ideals to you. Things will get better...at least, I believe they can...” She said, bringing this little moment between them back to its original point…to continue serving the Lord of the Deep. With that, she would leave for her chambers, adding a “Please, stay safe…Kyoshin.” As she drifted away.
