The Research & Development Institute. Headed and founed by the 12th Division Captain, Nonko Ryuuza. This place was made to house the larger and more dangerous projects of 12th Division. Originally the building was meant to only be used for extreme projects, but has now pretty much replaced the 12th Division's main building as the HQ for the Gotei Division. The Building itself is built underground and is only known to the SouTaichou, the 12th Taichou, and all other 12th Division members.

The underground labs are divided into several levels. Levels 1-10 are General & Technical Research labs. These labs are open to all members of 12th Division. Levels 11-20 are the Bio-Tech Research & Body Modifaction labs. These are also open to all 12th members. Levels 21-30 are the Technology Development. Opened to Seated Officers & needed personnel ONLY. Levels 31-40 are the Weapons Development Labs. Opened to Seated Officers & needed personnel ONLY. Levels 41-50 are for Seated Officers only. It is unclear what these labs are used for, but any unseated member who wonders into them will most likely end up on the Missing Personnel. The Final levels of the Institute are off limits to even some Seated Officers. It is here Nonko often locks himself away to work on his own projects. Also found in these levels are the Mainframe Room, Database Control, and the volt in which the Nova Device is kept.
