Deciding to take the Shinigami's word for it and play off his test as a meaningless action, Kyoshin charged and fired a Cero from his mouth to counter the incoming blast of red 'ink' Takehiko sent his way. Seeing as the resulting collision would intercept Takehiko's followup attack and possibly damage the Shinigami who was headed strait for it, Kyoshin used the explosion as a cover to hide his Sonido, so that while the Shinigami was dealing with the blasts head-on, the young Arrancar would be already behind him, sending a column of tentacles to run through Takehiko while the man was trying to attack.
"Innocent lives already doomed to die?" Kyoshin asked mid-attack. "What's so special about human life? Why do you sacrifice so much for something already fated to end within a hundred years? What can humans experience, that you Shinigami cannot? Surely your friend could have lived a more meaningful life than any of these animals could have!" He gestured at the ground below them, where even as they fought, humans who were experiencing forces they couldn't comprehend were screaming and running for their lives, some even leaving behind the injured or dying.

"I defend them because unlike an Arrancar dog, I do not seek to deny my origins!" Takehiko shouted as he was enveloped in the explosion of the two energy blasts, "We are Human, with all their faults, all their weaknesses, and all their strengths! These powers we have are the results of our past lives, the symbols of our hardships! To deny this is to deny our existence, and to deny them life is to deny our own futures!"
With a mighty roar, Takehiko turned to face Kyoshin's tentacles, slashing them to pieces when he could. Many got through, littering his chest arms, and legs with wounds, only to be cut away once they had hit him. He was as the mountain, he would not fall simply because you had scarred the surface, and his base was far too thick to simply cut him down. When no more tentacles sought to take root, Takehiko stood before the Commander, a bloodied and bruised mess, but he stood tall, his fury clear in his eyes.
"Bakudou #9: Geki!" Take barked quickly. The spell was nothing flashy, but it would keep Kyoshin still for the moment. Taking his sword, Takehiko cut into himself, not once but twice, allowing his blade to becomes filled with crimson "ink". "Come at me now Arrancar," he said through ragged breaths as the crimson liquid flowed from the blade into the scrolls below, "let us bring this to an end."

Swords clashed and blood spilled as the battle was reaching a bloody conclusion. Having condensed into the chaotic mess in the center of the city, it had become a torrent of war that consumed anyone in the immediate area. Some enjoyed the battle, some cursed it, and others never had the chance to think through it. Shinigami looked on as the commander of this hollow army, Kyoshin Agotar, battled against Takehiko Rokoju one on one. The shinigami saw the fire, the passion, that their fellow soldier had, despite his injuries, and it motivated them. While the hollow’s moral began to fall with the defeat of Rose Leocadia and the lack of direction from their commander or Karzan, the shinigami rallied behind the strength Take had shown and continued to push the enemy forces back. It was as if they knew they would take heavy losses, but were willing to take that risk to win this war once and for all.
Thunder seemed to clash from above as the sky seemed to darken unnaturally. The hollow would recognize the reiatsu forming in the air as a sign of a garganuta opening up…but the energy felt warped, different. The build of energy was far more than any normal gargantua would use and instead of a gradual opening like most garganuta’s, this one felt like a bullet train of energy was hurdling for the human realm. When it finally reached its destination, the garganuta would open with such speed and force that it appeared like the sky had shattered like glass. From the opening exited a blurred blast of red and teal reiatsu from Heuco Mundo. The light traveled downward directly into the battle below, amidst the shinigami and hollow that had fought towards the center of Karakura.
The build up of reiatsu hit the concrete of the city streets below, reacting around the energy of Karzan’s cero. When he made his last ditch attempt to cause damage, the cero’s release would cause a reaction with the reiatsu surrounding the human and hollow that had emptied out into Karakura. The ball of energy collapsed in on itself before finally dispersing in all directions. Many of the soldiers and hollow were close to the vicinity of the light, enveloping them in powerful energy that encroached upon the battlefield. Those caught within the explosion would feel all of that reiatsu beat down on them; though not life threatening by any means, it would force many in the midst of their battles back from each other and certainly knock the wind out of many nearby. Takehiko, Kyoshin, Azerik, Sven, and Nonko were among those caught in the main brunt of the dispersion, while others in the battle all watched on as this interruption seemed to call of the entire battle.
Many who recovered from the attack tried to discover what had happened, and many shinigami began to notice the movements of some of the more loyal hollows. They seemed to move towards the impact zone, drawn to it by familiar reiatsu. In the center of the impact laid Karzan Zaraki, stabbed in the abdomen by a spear held by a human boy. Clyde was knelt before him, his hands gripped tightly around the weapon that remained in the Lord of the Deep…he used it to hold himself up from his own injuries. These specific hollow let out sorrowful cries as they looked on, unsure of the condition of their Lord. The human looked upon them, and then their leader.
Pressing his fingers lightly to the pole of the spear, he returned it back into reishi and allowed it to disperse in the air. The human stumbled backward before leaning up against some near by debris. He watched the hollow as they crawled down into the crater and surrounded their lord. Among the crowd he would recognize his fraccion, who checked his injuries to assure themselves that he would survive. Giving a signal, a few of the hollow lifted the lord up from the ground and began to make their retreat, ignoring the human was in no condition to stop them anyway. As if on cue, many other hollow watched and too decided the battle had been lost…they had lost most of the ground they had gained, and the defeat of their lord was the ultimate humiliation. One after another the battles across the city came to an end. Many shinigami as well, have taken such massive loses, did not engage the enemy any further than they had to. If the hollow were retreating, that meant they had won…which was good enough for most. There were some among both factions who did not care, but their battles would conclude silently among the bigger picture. Despite what some had wanted, the battle had taken its toll on all…both the shinigami and the arrancar forces had been decimated. Bodies of seated officers, humans, and arrancar littered the streets. To say there was a true winner would be ignoring all that had fallen in this battle. It was clear that it would take years to rebuild the soldiers that had died on this day…but it was clear at least, that the war was over.
((At this time, any players that haven't made their exit and want to can, but it is not necessary. The event is officially over from this point on. Thank your for your patience, and sorry the end of the event got snagged for a few days. Rewards will be given out tomorrow))

Held in place by Takehiko's Kido, Kyoshin felt the Reiatsu of both his Master and the human boy bear down on him, yet could do nothing as the descending torrent of pure Spiritual Energy tore him away from his duel. Thrown hundreds of yards by the massive explosion, the Arrancar fought against his bindings, unable to recover and redirect his flight, as his tentacles dissolved, his hakama returned to white, and his gauntlets and mask crumbled into the air. He'd sustained heavy damage from the blast, yet heavily burned and scarred as he was, he used what shred of strength he had left to tear the spell in half and free himself. Immediately, he slid to a halt and glanced around urgently, using his Pesquisa to probe for the only Reiatsu on this battlefield he felt he cared for... Locking on to his target and gathering everything he had left in himself, he Sonido'd to the ground far below, where laying defeated among the rubble was the Tercero Espada, Rose Leocadia.
Appearing right next to her, Kyoshin felt a tremendous wave of relief wash over himself as he saw his fellow Arrancar, critically injured, but with her chest still rising and falling, a sure sign of life. Glancing at the Adjuchas standing next to her with a look of both suspicion and gratitude, Kyoshin otherwise ignored the Hollow as he knelt down and gently slid his arms under the girl and lifted her up, cradling her prone for against his bare chest.
"Are you alright?" he asked softly, looking on her with mild concern, while he already believed in full that everything was fine. "It...it's over, Rose. Karzan lost... We're retreating." While he spoke this with relief, the Tercero no doubt heard his words with horror, but he was far to overjoyed to even consider it the way she would. In the back of his head, part of him realized it was still within his ability to turn the tide of the war; the Hueco Estimulo he had would restore all of his power, making the strongest fighters on the field, who were now dying, easy pickings for a fully healed Arrancar like himself. But it was out of the question, now that he had Rose in his arms... His only reason to fear would again be safe, and he had nothing to fight for. This was Karzan's war, not his, and that Shinigami Takehiko hadn't really done him anything wrong, rather, he was the one who'd lost a friend in this war.
Turning slowly, still cradling Rose, Kyoshin willed a Garganta into existence and walked towards it, looking back before the black portal closed again only to say, "Forgive us..."

As the Adjucha tended to Rose’s wounds, the sounds and movements around her became dull and sounded like far away echoes as she drifted into unconsciousness. She wondered what would happen once she fell into this sleep that consumed her with each passing breath, whether she would wake up again and what would happen in that time. Lying there, things seemed to fall silent…though it was not her mind playing tricks on her…the battle had come to an end…and her lord lay defeated. The pale arrancar however, did not have the focus to realize why the sounds had stopped so suddenly. She could not help but feel a ping in her heart, though, as if something terrible had happened.
The woman raised her hand lightly to the adujcha that aided her, rubbing his rough and scaled cheek as if she planned to say or ask him something, though no words escaped her mouth. Perhaps she wanted to know what was happening in the battle, or perhaps she wanted to thank him for his help…but she was too tired to do so. The hand lowered again slowly, and the arrancar seemed to drift off into an exhausted sleep. Kyoshin would land by her and Adicto just at this moment, his desperate movements unaware by the slumbering hollow.
Rose began to dream then. She dreamt of a beautiful human girl, with a large family. They all stayed together…working, playing, living. Even when they were mad or upset with one another they would always love one another. It was a family that could never be broken, that allowed themselves to show affection…who did not need to suffocate their true emotions. The tercero envied what she dreamt of, knowing now that it would never be hers, and tears welled up even in the real world as Kyoshin carried her off. As he claimed that the battle had been lost her tears were absorbed into the cloth over her face…staining it. They had lost...she had failed; without hearing it...she knew. Her tears would fade quickly though, as she embraced the peaceful atmosphere in her dream, and allowed herself to be carried away...back to her home.

The Bala would be swatted away from Akumainu, who used his claw to swat them away like flies. Cruel stinging flies, but flies nonetheless. As he swatted them away, Akumainu would Sonido backwards as his senses picked up the spheres moving closer, moving further away to avoid the strange anomalies.
A sharp growl escaped his mouth as he repositioned himself to lunge back at Azerik, before halting. The sudden influx of reiatsu tore through the sky nearby, Akumainu's Pesquisa pickign up two familiar signatures as the energy bore down upon the field, immediately flaring his own in retaliation to redirect some of the energy. The two signatures were that of his Lord Karzan and the boy whom he had met in the human club, the boy Clyde.
His face curled back into what could only be described as an attempt at a smile, his teeth bared as he sorta relished the defeat of Karzan. The leader of the Hollow was far too obsessed with this boy, and thus it led to his defeat. Very soon, Karzan will be replaced by a stronger, more capable individual who would give the Hollow the leadership they deserved. Fighting the urge to take advantage of the weakened Karzan, Akumainu shrugged off his hunger, looking upwards towards Azerik, as the sonic image of the Shinigami came into view, Akumainu's Hollow armor cracking as Sven's features began to reemerge from underneath the carapace of Akumainu, the empty shell falling away in pieces, as Sven addressed the Shinigami.
"Well, thiz iz goodbye for now, Azerik. It'z been a pleazure. Hopefully, next time we meet, our kind will be under the influence of a better individual than that Zaraki fellow. "
As the last pieces of Akumainu's shell fell below, Sven's smirk was evident as he waded through Nonko's mist, Sonido'ing again to further the distance between them as his hand once again gripped Haciendose Viento. Casting one last glance towards the fallen Karzan, Sven sneered. It be better for him if he just died there. Many of the Hollow kind had suffered due to that man's greed and insatiable quest for vengeance. Frankly, the man had always disgusted Sven, his disdain now written clearly on his face, something he had hidden for too long. Raising his hand, Sven opened a Garganta, exiting through the portal back to Hueco Mundo, several dog like Hollows following him as he left the Human Realm, the last of the Espada to leave, not a care in his mind as to what happened to Karzan. The man had fallen. He was no longer fit to rule the Espada in Sven's opinion, and it be more beneficial if he just laid there for the murderous Shinigami to experiment upon.

Amidst the commotion, Karzan's armor had shattered, his normal garb taking form on him again, torn in places from before he had used Resurrecion. As the Hollow carried him away his mind reeled in disgust, for he had never entertained thoughts of defeat; at least not at the hands of Clyde. This would destroy any chances he had of unifying the Espada, he had failed Lord An-...no he had simply failed, and he'd pay the price for all his mistakes. His attention had been divided, but no more.
"This war isn't over..." Karzan said weakly as he was carried through a Garganta. He may have failed, but it had shown him what he needed to do. He needed to first solve the problems within his "family"...

"Zaraki..."
Azerik lay in a pile or rubble, where he had been sent by the great explosion of energy, and he had barely registered what Sven was saying as the Espada made his escape. Turning to the impact area, Azerik squinted, and saw one of the figures being carried away by a mass of Hollows. "That's not right," he said to himself as he tried to identify the figure, "the Shinigami exterminated all the Hollow that night, it says so in the database..."
Shaking his head, Azerik pulled himself from the rubble and turned away from the sight. He could figure this out later, it was time to retreat. Flicking a few buttons on his glasses, Azerik sent an order to the 12th Division Research Institute, telling them to open Senkeimon near all the major groups still active in the field. "We should retreat Captain," he said as he turned to Nonko, "I imagine the 4th Division will want to purchase a large amount of the regen serum."

Nonko walked up by Azerik watching looking over what had happened. "This was indeed an interesting day, but it isn't over for us just yet." He looked around at everything. "I want a team covering the area collecting as much information from the damage."
He then held up his sword as it started change back into it's sealed state. As the dragon faded away Nanako jumped down and landed near both of them. However as she hit the ground she fell face first almost smashing into the ground if Nonko hadn't moved to catch her.
"It seems I've taken more damage then I know." Nonko nodded and help her up. As he moved to the closest portal he turned to Azerik, "Many small hollow were caught in the wave of the mist and frozen solid. Collect them." He said before disappearing into the portal. [EXIT]

Post by Anubix Haru on Apr 25, 2012 19:59:02 GMT -5
Anubix held his hand up to cut most of the glare from the Cero out as he watched the events roll out infront of him. His eyes stayed on the battlefield as all battles came to a hault. 'So hollow's do know respect, Shocker...' With the sight of the Lord of the Deep being carried out of the Realm of the Living, his Bankai faded as his twin Zanpaktou's went into their sheaths. He sat down for a moment to actually let the image of the dead soak in. It was to much to really bare. Countless death's for a stupid war, all for what? Who can survive the longest from extinction? Or the simple fact to see who is stronger? He would ust simply shake his head taking out a Cig. and his lighter, the smoke shot out the holes of the nose. Anubix would stand up calling to what was left of his Division and ordered them to go back to Soul Society and rest. The captain began to plan on retiring for a while now, but didn't think that his retirement would come to this point.
Anubix would jump down to the street and walk over to the young boy who was known as Clyde. The tall Captain would bow in respect and gentley tap his shoulders simply saying, "You did good, you faught hard and true. Always remember that no matter what comes about, we Shinigami are always in your corner whenever you and the realm of the Living need's us." Anubix would then form a Portal to the 10th Division Compound. He and his Corp. would walk through. Most of them collapsed on the ground as they began to have their relaxing moment, but as for Anubix. He went to his Office and began to fill out his report, his resignning papers. Once all done, he'd take it to the Captain Commander and that would be the last Anyone would see of Anubix Haru. Retirement came at a Bitter cost. A day that was supposed to be his reitirement and for him to relax alittle has ended in a full scale battle with almost all factions. Each side losing more then sixty-five percent of their forces in this needless battle. He needed to get away from all the needless deaths that has occured and will keep happening.
[Anubix leaves thread and is now Retired...for now]

The explosion had shattered his field of scrolls, something he had believed impossible. As Kyoshin made his escape, Takehiko swore loudly, and created a barrier to protect himself from the shockwaves of energy. When things had settle down, he disengaged his Bankai, and watched as everyone around him began to retreat.
"So short lived," He said to himself as he looked down at the human boy who had caused this, "can this really be called 'war'?"
Entering the Senkeimon nearest him, Takehiko sighed as he sheathed his blade. He would surely face a court marshal for this, and most like be punished for treason. He had killed a fellow Shinigami, and a superior at that...or at least that was how he viewed it. Perhaps the 46 would see it differently.
