Post by Azerik Zaraki on Mar 23, 2012 19:24:50 GMT -5
The reading on Azerik's glasses changed suddenly as the Arrancar's power spiked, so Azerik did the same, summoning as much strength as he could to take the enemy on. Reiatsu: 140 + 35 + 20 = 195 Attack: 190 + 35 + 20 = 245 Speed: 160 + 35 + 20 = 215 Weapon Skill: 140 + 35 + 20 = 195 As Sven disappeared, Azerik steeled himself, and turned every so slightly, bringing his sword up to defend himself, deliberately slowing his movements enough so that the swords would meet edge to edge, knocking them both back, and sending Azerik's sword arm reeling above his head in an exaggerated motion, meant for him to strike back quickly if the Arraancar tried to take advantage of it.

Post by Drystan Deverell on Mar 23, 2012 19:38:13 GMT -5
As the Hollows came from the alley toward Shakan, Drystan would kneel and place his left hand on the ground, and in a flash of brilliant lavender light, a stone wall would come between the Fullbringer and his enemies, three spikes coming out to skewer the beasts, slowing them down further.
"Sorry buddy," Drystan said with a smile, "while my abilities were developed for combat, my low power has my used to skulking about...and to answer your questions, I'm Drystan, and what you see here is a war...join in if you want some action, I'll be about if you need me."
With that, the Alchemist took off, transmuting reishi in the air as he moved, running through the air toward where Miwa and Heinrich were. When he was within a good distance, there was another flash of lavender light, as he created a roman gladium sword, and a round buckler shield from a gold hued steel, landing beside the Quincy.
"Hey Henry," Drystan said with a smile, "long time no see."

James watched as this new hollow appeared and began devouring the arrancar, so taking advantage of the small break he would change his armor. The bulky and spike covered metal seemed to melt and swirl around his body before hardening back into a sleeker and more aerodynamic form.
"Your not the only on who is hungry!" James would declare as a chunk of his now dead opponent seemed to explode into light and fly into toward him and be absorbed through the armor knitting together the flesh on his arm.
James would make a quick dash towards the new opponent with the soul purpose of judging his opponents response time and reaction. The moment that he could see a reaction from his opponent he would give up on the attack and focus souly on dodging

Takeshi's eyes moved towards the unseated officer as he found himself questioning the action of Takehiko as he noticed the massive power surge in the Vizard's grip. What the fuck is that about? Turn the damn town into a crater?!! That takes away the entertainment value in fighting the beasts below. fucking dumbass.... Takeshi would spit downwards out of disapproval, as his gorilla like physique dropped down.
His body crashed down, his hands cupped together as the sheer force of the muscles backing his weight shattered the mask of the nearest Hollow, as the head of the beast whiplashed against the concrete. As Takeshi pulled himself up, he decided he'd finished the job, as he loomed over the broken masked Hollow, silenced by the foot of Takeshi coming down upon the fiend's cranium, as the creature sputtered viciously, the spasms of it's body thrashing about soon ceased as Takeshi's large arms crossed, a frown on his face. "Honestly, is that the best you can do? Where's that fucking primal rage you Hollows have?!! I was hoping for a real brawl."

"Nonko-Sama!"
Nanako shouted out to Nonko as she noticed the on coming attack from the dragon-like creature. Both of them quickly flashed out of the path of the blast as it hit the building destorying it and sending rubble from the close by buildings into the air. When Nonko reappeared he saw the beast was a short step ahead by firing at possible running points. "Bakudou 81. Danku." A barrier formed between Nonko and the fire ball. As it smashed into the rectangle Nonko braced himself for the shock of the blast. It wasn't much, but it was still enough for Nonko to protect himself from.
"Just like old times." He said before bring up his blade before him. "Freeze Thy heart, Hyourai." Ice formed around the blade for a moment before breaking away to reveal the released form of his Zanpakutou. Nonko's Release StatsReiatsu: 210 + 20 = 230 Attack: 205 + 20 = 225 Speed: 210 + 20 = 230 Weapon Skill: 150 + 20 = 170
Meanwhile Nanako appeared in the rang of the jet of fire taking the road she landed on. Quickly thinking she jumped up and used shunpo right as the fire hit. When she reappeared again in the sky the tail of his coat was burning and part of his shoes had melted from the heat. Removing the coat and tossing it aside she looked around to see what she could lock on to and match so that she may defend herself best. At first Nanako looked for Nonko, but he was being hidden by smoke and dust kicked up from the attack.
Then she looked to the beast itself. From what she could see while standing in the air it was being ridden by someone. It was strong person from what scans told her. He'll have to do. Nanako matched herself to the person riding the dragon. As she did the sound of a kidou incantation caught her attention. It was coming from the spot she was sure Nonko was.
"Bone of a straggling beast, spire, crimson crystal, disc of steel, when the wind shifts, and the emptiness ceases..." It was Nonko's voice alright. He didn't sound like he was in any big hurry. He took his time as he chanted the incantation. "let the clash of lances resonate through the relinquished castle. Hadou 63. Raikōhō!"
From within the smoke and dust fired a huge energy wave targeted at the dragon who attacked them. Nonko stood from it's origin point of the wave with his palm aimed in the general direction of the dragon.

Slyx began to laugh as she seen her play toy coming after her like a fool. Her body went loose and when he was just a matter of four steps away from her. She bolted at him. Her body would go somewhat blurry and when he would try to avoid an attack her foot would kick him right into the chest sending him skidding a few feet back making a small dent in his armor. An evil small was over her face as she stood there now on her hind legs watching James.
"You maybe somewhat hungry but I have a lust for human Flesh...I will Devour you and crap you out and most likely make a small figure of you...then smash you again...hahaha..."

"Ride's over." Nero spoke to his would-be hijacker as a single claw from one of his hands sliced the make shift reins in half. At that same instant the dragon abruptly dove down to just above street level. Nero would dodge the incoming wave by doing this but it would also fling Mijek off of his back in the air for a few seconds... right in the path of Nonko's attack.
With rather surprising speed and grace for such a large beast Nero swooped to the left down another street, weaving between buildings here and there all the while maintaining an altitude below rooftop level. He quickly made his way to the building Nonko was currently standing upon, approaching from his left flank. He unhinged his jaw, then swooped up above the building while another giant column of fire overtook the building and its rooftop in its entirety before Nero took to the air again... this time doing a barrel roll in mid flight to deter someone else from trying to hitch a ride from him again.

Post by Mijek: The Last Oni on Mar 28, 2012 2:20:41 GMT -5
Damn, I was hoping to rein that beast in. It is by far the most destructive being out here for the city.
"Bind, Kuroji Ryuu." He flipped the blade from it's sheath and as it flashed in momentary light spun himself around to catch at an edge of the nearest building once he had the extending advantage of his shikai. As he turned his body instinctively crouched and he formed his Zankai beneath his feet before kicking it out and away from himself to block the kidou he had only subconciously realized was coming at him moments ago.
"Where?" was all the thought he managed to bring to his lips before the Zankai shield and kidou spell collided letting loose a none to kind explosion of shards that etched a shotgun pattern up Mijeks exposed right side. The burning sensation was tremendously painful but Mijek fought through it and used that pain to fuel his bodies response.
"Sanben, Ride!" His Zankai once again formed and acted as the mitt to stop his shockwave inspired flight from the kidou blast before sliding up beneath his feet like a board. Leaning forward a bit he and his Zankai board once again started pursuit on the dragonic Nero. "I Don't believe that was meant for me in the least...surprising that the dragon could maneuver that well despite it's size. We'll need to be careful Sanben, I am technically every side's enemy at this point."
((totally forgot about zankai...talk about saving my butt with minor damage. And yes he is using it like a surfboard...sorry but mijek don't got no kidou and shunpo outside of full bankai so he has to get around like normal super human mutants. ya cheaters *raspberry*))

Post by Kyoshin Oscuro on Mar 28, 2012 16:03:18 GMT -5
"F***ing chains," Kyoshin cursed as he noticed the links running up this Shinigami's sleeve. They were a pain to fight, as usually the wielder would exert a form of control over them that seemed to thwart both gravity, inertia, and all other know laws of nature. Why, oh why, was he fighting a chain... But there was no use bemoaning it, the fight was going to be over now anyways.
Or not? Somehow, the Shinigami was able to swing this massive thing over his head, Shunpo to avoid the Cero without his weapon losing any inertia, and launch it down in Kyoshin's direction. Again, f***ing chains... Noticing that his opponent's speed had just dropped considerably, Kyoshin lazily put his hand up to catch the thing, and was met with a surprise when he found himself staggering and forced downward by the weapon's increased weight. His hand, which had attempted to catch the anchor by the point of it, was nearly shattered by the impact, and the skin had been broken in one place, showing that the weapon was quite close to breaking his Hierro.
He looked back up at the Shinigami with a mixture of curiosity and hatred, then dropped the anchor and began charging a Cero in his bloody hand. "Now, I've asked a Shinigami this before and couldn't get a straight answer, so I'll ask it again: Shinigami protect humans, right?"
He grinned twistedly and fired the Cero off into a nearby residential, personally doubting that this Shinigami was actually going to risk himself and do something stupid to save the humans, but hoping he would. It was worth a shot... With that done he Sonido'd off, firing Bala over his back to alert the Shinigami of his position. He kept moving, until he stopped in an alleyway between two skyscrapers full of humans, where there was more than enough shadow to fight his way... And if he wasn't followed, then people were sure to die.
(I wasn't sure what you were intending with the attack increase thing, as 60 usually means you want to break my Hierro, but it wasn't enough: "Has a range of 60 attack, if attackers attack is higher then that it passes through anyway." So if you increased by another 5 it would be enough, but at any rate you need it to be higher than 60 above mine.)

Post by Miwa Kiyomizu on Mar 28, 2012 21:14:20 GMT -5
Miwa's blade hit the Arrancar's stomach as it merely halted upon coming into contact with the flesh of the Espada, her blue eyes narrowing as she cursed to herself. You have to be shitting me, of all the opponents I got stuck with, I found one who can't be cut...... At her astonishment, Miwa had let down her guard if only for a second, as the Hollow's reiatsu bore down on her, the female's fingers wrapping around Miwa's wrist. Miwa resisted the temptation to throw up at the Arrancar's touch, another sharp jolt of electricity surging through Rose's body upon contact with Miwa's own skin.
Even though Miwa could clearly see the Arrancar was blind, she could detect Miwa through other means, quite possibly sensing Miwa's own reiatsu or even electrical sensory perception like sharks possessed or Miwa possessed to a degree. Whatever it was, Miwa had to use it to her advantage. Grinding her teeth, Miwa allowed for Rose's blade to cut her across the abdomen, pulling herself backwards, so the blade had only made a slight incision across her stomach, the dripping of blood showed the blade had pierced her, but the effects of Rose's reiatsu bearing down on her in addition to her hand firmly grabbing Miwa's, leaving little else to do by withstand the attack and possibly lessen the damage. Of course, not without recoil, as Miwa flared her own reiatsu, directing it upwards Rose's blade as another shot of electricity used the Espada's own blade as a conductor, as the excess electricity served to cauterize Miwa's own wound, leaving a slight scar where she had been cut, as her eyes glared at the Arrancar.
"Hierro, huh? So I can't cut you, but that doesn't mean blunt force won't work. Ignorant hollow, your kind are all the same, hungering for power and using what power you possess to insure the torment of others.I won't stand for it..." Miwa's voice shot coldly towards the Hollow, exclaiming what had been obvious to her.
Trying to squirm free, Miwa suddenly halted again as her ears caught the mere mention of Clyde's name, the temple in her forehead beginning to pulse violently as her own reiatsu began flaring violently, encasing herself in an unstable flurry of sapphiric electricity, before the electricity eventually dimmed down, seemingly darker in colour then it had been before, as Miwa's eyes locked onto the Espada. Even though Rose was blind, she was bound to feel the hatred that seethed from Miwa's person, her nails digging into the impenetrable skin of the Arrancar. Even her voice possessed none of her usual vigor, as she spoke with the malice clearly evident in her vocal.
"You expect him to die so easily at the hands of your putrid kind? You are by far the most ignorant bitch I had ever had the displeasure to meet. I'm perfectly aware your kind have been targeting Clyde-kun due to the unimaginable power he has. This Lord Karzan of yours, I can tell in your voice that you rever him much like a god. But even gods eventually fall. Your precious Lord's reign will soon be over." Miwa spat out each word as though it was poison as she continued. "I don't even intend for you to leave here today...."
As Miwa's finished, Rose's vision would not see the chains that had emerged from Miwa's person, as they slowly wrapped around her limbs as her eyes darted towards the Arrancar's mouth, catching the word Cero but not what followed it, though Miwa braced herself. The white light swallowed them both as Miwa was taken aback by the blow, her whole body set ablaze as every portion of her body burned with the white fire, her eyes briefly closing, though the pain remained, her thoughts focusing on anything but the pain that ailed her, which turned out wasn't nearly that bad. Sure her body felt as though it was on fire, but it was a step up above her earlier training with Clyde when her reiatsu did roughly the same thing. She had originally suffered major burns from her own uncontrollable reiatsu, a Cero was comparable to that. But still she was only human, enough of this and Miwa would become like Rose, a hollow bent on her regrets. That is if Miwa would allow it, and frankly the idea disgusted her. Working against the searing white fire that consumed her. Analyzing the situation, Miwa's body was quickly approaching it's limit, her wrist still firmly grasped by the Arrancar. The Arrancar's skin was near impenetrable and her Tesla Coil offered additional protection, but there was only one option that came to mind.
Mustering up her own strength, Miwa's grip tightened around the hilt of her blade with her freed hand, as it swung upwards into the flesh of her own wrist, the splash of Miwa's blood hitting the Arrancar's face as Miwa's blade edge pressed up against her own wrist, searing through the only tissue that held the hand as the snapping of tendons indicated she had successfully dislocated the hand. Her blade tore through the remaining skin, her bleeding amputated hand now removed from its original position. As Miwa did this, she ground her teeth as she altered the polarity of her own blade, overcharging it with her reiatsu of a positive charge.
As Miwa's stub of an arm receded from Rose, Huracan would erupt in a burst of electricity in front of the faces of the two, disrupting the reiatsu of the Cero with the reversed polarity. If Rose could hold the Cero, she would feel her hand now gripped Miwa's severed hand, as Miwa's blade exploded in her face, heightened by the possible backlash of her own Cero. Miwa, on the otherhand, would have been propelled backwards out of Rose's range by the sheer force of the explosion.
Miwa's body clashed violently into a building, as rubble dropped down upon her injured body. Miwa would be underneath the pile of ruin, fine from the chains that had wrapped around her body, but bleeding profusely from her missing hand, the irony of Rose holding Miwa's severed hand bringing a slight smile to Miwa's face, as she pushed herself out of the broken stones, her chest heaving vigorously with each breath, what appeared to be soot covering her burns as her eyes shot back towards Rose, her available hand engulfed by electricity, as a large hammer began to form in her outstretched hand, her lips curling into a sneer. "It's gonna take more than that to take me out, Hollow."
Ooc Note: While using Thor's Hammer, Miwa's Attack will be increased by 40 due to the sheer weight of the hammer, though Speed and Weapon Skill will be reduced by 20.

Post by Anubix Haru on Mar 29, 2012 9:12:01 GMT -5
Anubix felt Brago behind him, but his ears would hear the blade coming down at him. The 6'6 Captain was in moments like this and was able to survive, and so, the turn of motions would have to happen. He'd quickly turn himself around with his black and red Zanpaktou blocking the attack and his other sword doing a upper slash across Brago's mid torso, he knew brago was going to avoid his attack and that was going to be the first mistake this Arrancar puppet would make.
Anubix's voice was low, but not low enough for Brago not to be able to hear him. "Snakes of the Heavens, guide me through the valley of death as I shall be the guide for the rest."
His two Zanpaktou's began to glow brightly as they mend together. Brago would feel that Anubix became a bit stronger and the tide of the battle was now turned into his favor as dust would settle with the sight of him standing there with The Double bladed Scythe. Liquid seeped out of the blades as he stood there watching and laughing a bit. But Brago would have a hard time keeping up with him since Anubix would disappear from sight and would reappear above him sending a kick to the back of Brago's head making him fly in the air for a good four to five feet before stopping. Anubix would land on the ground, a step away from where Brago was standing.
"Whats the matter Arrancar? This will be a battle to remember if we both survive this encounter since we both are pretty much equal for what I can feel. But in the mean time, let's try and make this fight Worth the While!"
Reiatsu: 130 + 20= 150 Attack: 190 + 20= 210 Speed: 135 + 20= 155 Weapon Skill: 140 + 20= 160

Daisuke & Kyoshin:
((I had no intention of breaking your heirro, and you reaction is fine for now if only because you took damage from your attempt to grab his zan. Just remember that the closer one is to breaking completely though heirro, the less it will protect you, even if they haven’t gone over the 60 limit.))
The shinigami grabbed hold of the chain of his zanpakuto that annoyed Kyoshin so; though in a world where people fly around on dragons and could stand on air, one had to wonder why something “reality’ defying would bother him so much. Grabbing hold of his chain he would throw it up, pulling his released anchor back towards himself and catching hold of it once it was within arms length.
Daisuke laughed calmly when Kyoshin had released his grip on the shinigami’s zanpakuto, boasting, “You’re tough, arrancar, but I doubt that arm of yours is feeling very good ri-” His voice was cut off as Kyoshin posed a question to the shinigami about protecting humans. A scowl grew across the red haired man’s face as he saw the cero being charged and fired towards a group of civilians still caught in the cross fire. Perhaps to Kyoshins delight, the shinigami would shunpo away. Reappearing in front of the blast and jabbing his weapon against it, causing it to explode right in front of him and send the shinigami backward into a near by wall, easily causing the section of the building to crater inward on him.
Daisuke coughed out in pain, but pried himself from the wall and followed the arrancar as he was lead into an alley way away from the others battling. However, shinigami were moving down the area, doing their best to force most civilians out of the area already. As Kyoshin looked on at the alley way his shinigami opponent would reemerge above him in their new location and would fire his weapon once more down upon the arrancar. “You’re curious about a shinigami’s purpose? If you want the textbook answer, it’s our job to ferry spirits to the afterlife and purify the ones that become corrupted. Sometimes protecting humans falls within that category to maintain a balance. However, people like me help them because they're worth protecting. If there’s more to it than that I could never be bothered to learn.”
“But here I am rambling. You want to kill me, right? That’s good enough for me, Show me what you got!” The shinigami egged his opponent on as his weapon suddenly retracted and he extended his free hand, pointing his fingers at Kyoshin. “Hado number four, Byakurai!” He yelled out the kido as a blast of pure electricity escaped his index and middle finger at the arrancar.
@kuro and Takehiko:
As the two shinigami clashed in Take’s attempt to stop Kuro from firing such a powerful attack within the crowd, an arrancar in particular took notice. Dressed in a long “trench coat” like version of the espada attire, he stood hidden from the eyes of the others on the field, even Kuro and Take. His long white hair was tied in a pony tail in the back, and a mask remnant that covered his right eye seemed to have a “target” like symbol on it. Taking notice of the pure power that the vizard seemed to control, his masked eye looked up towards him. “Yes, you’ll be an adequate target.” He said quietly though surprisingly the man he looked at, Kuro, would hear what the arrancar had said. It was as if the hollow was speaking directly into his mind. It would not be surprising if Kuro did not register that he had heard it at all.
Lifting his curved sword, the hollow immediately released his Zanpakuto. His form became more armored, with hollow bone growing from his elbows and knees and his back as well. It gave him a much more skeletal appearance. In his hands was a very unorthodox weapon, however. It was not a blade but resembled a large rifle of some kind. Carefully bringing the scope up, he lined a shot up between Kuro and Takehiko, gave a small grin, and pulled the trigger to the weapon. From the barrel came an enormous turquoise blast of energy which under normal circumstances would have knocked the hollow backward, but his bone like protrusions were used as shock absorbers to keep him in place.
“Get away from your friend, I want you to myself.” Kuro would hear once more, before he and Takehiko would easily sense the blast of energy that fired from the arrancar’s zanpakutou. The blast would fly between them if they separated before dispersing in the air. If Kuro looked down upon where the shot was fired, he would notice the arrancar grinning madly up at him before fading away; turning into ash in actuality. Kuro would most likely not be sure what he just did but one thing was for certain…it was not sonido.
Shakan:
The 3 hollow would move to engage the human; two flying above him while one attacked him from the front. However, even to Shakan they were moving incredibly slow for hollow, and he would easily be able to counter their maneuvers like a champion.
When he had dealt with them in his own way, he would however notice the presence of a fourth hollow. It was a humanoid looking aduchja’s, a large red skinned creature with enormous forearms and standing well over 8 feet tall. The monster simply looked down upon Shakan with an intimidating glare before charging right for him with a mean left hook.
The battle at large:
The individual battles seemed to be getting further and further from the main bulk of the fight, causing some of them to fall off the radar of the minor hollow and shinigami in the area. Shinigami forces continued to hold as best they could, but were still being pushed back as more and more lesser hollow swarmed the air and ground.
((Major Note, from this point on until I say otherwise there will be two more threads to keep things moving. One for Kuro and his NPC; and One for Rose, Miwa, Henry, and Drystan. From here on out you will all post in the respective thread and your battles will go uninterrupted.))

"How the hell did he do that?" Shakan blurted about Drystan before the three hollow came at him. "Hmph... this all you got? Hell's Wave!" With three simple chop motions of his hand, one aimed at each hollow, long crimson waves of energy shot at each target. Each wave sliced their corresponding hollow in half... their bodies falling apart and dissolving into nothing.
"Heh... that was too easy.... oh damn it." His big mouth again lured another hollow to him... but this one was stronger than the other three... and bigger. It charged the human with a left hook from one of its massive arms. Shakan used Bringer Light to duck just to the creature's left just past the attacking arm. "Eat this!" He roared as he used one of his abilities... Hands of the Ethereal Beast. In what seemed to be a split second a largish demonic looking hand of reitsu slashed at the torso under the adjucha's left arm. Once this attack was done Shakan followed up with Hade's Bane... a medium sized crimson blast of energy from his right hand aimed at the hollow's head.

Post by Hirugane Tetsujin on Mar 30, 2012 1:39:38 GMT -5
Hirugane began to ease himself form the main floor of his relief unit 1, allowing the other officers available to begin taking more and more control of the situation while making his work less hands on and more managerial. Years of running a business had taught him that to have a truly efficient business model one had to let it grow so it could run itself with only minor guiding. Triage was beginning to set into everyones mind as they passed over the hopeless cases and started helping the ones who could be saved with the most efficient amount of effort. It was a a grim task to be sure but 4th squad was a division that was soon to learn the role of a shinigami's own grim reaper was filled by them.
"3rd Seat Amanai! I'm leaving you in charge here. My hands here are no different then any other chiyudou practitioner at this point, to out of practice. I'll begin helping clear the surrounding area's."
The 3rd Adjutant, a fair man of pale complexion and bewitching blue eyes nodded without looking up from his delicate work as Hirugane lifted the flap of the spiritual pressure hiding tent and stalked out into the waiting crowd of hollows that had slowly been amassing outside.
"You youngins don't know a thing about battle...I happen to be a practiced hand at the game but these old bones just don't work like they used to so let's learn you all nice'n'slo alright?"
He bent at the knees, sliding his robes around to the side to rest his right hand midway up his thigh. With his left hand he held it out before him as if to help a fallen man to his feet before pausing in this pose.
"I am head of the Tetsujin House, proud father of Megane, proud grandfather of Hirugane the 2nd. Holding Captaincy of the 4th squad I hope to bring efficiency to the healing arts and my name is Hirugane Tetsujin The First."
The hollows stirred, somehow confused by the speech of a shinigami captain. One far braver or perhaps simply the only intelligent one of the lot stepped forward from the crowd and pointed a finger at Hirugane before speaking.
"What do you think telling us your name is gonna do? Were hollows...we only came here to eat. Now get ready to be our meal!" He finished, and as if the dam had burst on caution and reason the hollows surged forward.
"Damn brats...Reduce to ash, Furnace...Enigma!" Hirugane's hand drew the blue blade from his main sheath before pulling the normal notched shorter sword and sliding them into correct position. The hollows continued their charge unabated by the strange act. As the buster of fiery blue ignited his other hand went to the red hilt and pulled it out in a wide arc that sent the fiery whip in a wide arc that slew the leading edge of the hollows before the rest could stop just in time to trample their bodies underfoot.
"In the name of the Tetsujin house, and the 4th Division of the Gotei 13 I will now begin to eradicate all those here for a meal...retreat and be spared....continue forward....and die."
He swung about the blue sword and as he did so pieces of bone eradicated by his whips flames feel to the ground before him.
"Do you yield?"

Post by Asao Asakobi on Mar 30, 2012 2:14:00 GMT -5
"Understood Captain. I'll move out as well...all the cases are done with anyways."Asao rolled his shoulder as he basically ignored everyone trying to ask him a question. He didn't know anything about when more patients were coming, he was just going to go out and if h found some then great and dandy. Apparently his captain wanted him to start helping with the streets though. Probably a bunch of hollow outside already. "Hey...you..get over here and start helping to prep for another wave you lazy good for nothing." It was the same guy as last time, and an equally annoying outburst. Asao turned slightly to look at him and put his best blank face on. "Who? Me?"The man shook his head and outright prodded Asao in the chest. "Yeah you. What makes you think you can wander off just cause we are done. you may be a new guy but that doesn't mean you can slack off."
Several others a bit more informed on how Asao did things as a lieutenant were staring in disbelief. Others just kinda wondered why the unseated guy was being allowed to talk to Asao at all. "Well...yeah...do you know the name of your lieutenant? You might want to talk to him about apologizing for your mouth." Another random face, Asao looked away continuing again his way to the tent flap as he drew his sword, a sudden pulse as he muttered it's name to himself barely drew a glance from anyone. They noticed it, but they knew the rules of Asao's world. Reiatsu: 5 +20 = 25 Attack: 150 +20 = 170 Speed: 5 +20 = 25 Weapon Skill: 160 +20 = 180 (please ignore the rest. just this is important for fighting asao)
"Yeah, Asakobi, I hear he's a strong guy, already knows his bankai. I was proud to know I was joining a division with a lieutenant that powerful." The first random guy said, Asao was gonna call him Paul for now. The second was a good Paul also, Paultoo would work, spoke again restraining Paulone from going after the would be deserter Asao. "Yeah...he is....and he also doesn't wear his badge when the captains not around."Paulone shrugged the hand off and let the nobody Asao go as he turned back to look at Paultoo. "Whats your point? That we let that guy walk off cause the guy in charge of our unit isn't here? The Lieutenant is probably out there fighting right now as we speak. He's not slacking off.""Ban-" Paulone pointed behind Paultoo, guiding his and everyone in the tents gaze to the small figure that was staring down a line of hollows out in front with no apparent chance in hell of surviving. "Kai." The figure's raises sword arm swung down, and with it came the massive blade that could topple a skyscraper slamming down the entire length of the main road and sending up a cloud of dust and rubble stained red by the blood of every dead hollow. The blade that head dealt the blow was gone before it had hit the ground, but it had only missed running flush with the surface of the earth by about a millimeter. No hollow would have survived the sheer size and at it's base the wielder had appeared so small. "That is your Lieutenant, he's actually pretty weak, but for some reason Captain Tetsujin thought he'd be useful." Paultoo explained, completely unsurprised by the display. Asao looked back over his shoulder with a look of nervousness on his face. "Guuuys....I don't wanna use this thing!....It's to flashy....somebody call Hirugane and ask him to handle my section so I don't have to be seen by so many people...." Asao...Lieutenant of the 4th squad, wielder of the weakest on record sword ever capable of a release and currently decimator of most of the hollows on main street was whining not about fighting...but because the only way he could fight such a horde was to be seen doing it. "If we could only get him to be more assertive and open about his talents he might be a challenge for a captains spot. Welcome to the 4th division." Paultoo grinned as others closed the tentflap and resumed getting supplies ready for the next wave of patients. Paulone just stared for awhile. Asao on the other hand gloomily slunk through the remaining dust cloud only raising his hand up to stab a hollow that randomly appeared from the cloud around him. "At least they can't see me do this now...baka ganguro captain..."

Brago leaned back annoyed as the sword swung upwards at him. The tip of the blade caught him across his chest leaving a small but menial cut. As Anubix began the chant that Brago assumed would release zanpaktou he used sonido to move back his coat swaying as he came to a stop. The jewel in his forehead that was his mask fragment visible for a moment as his hair settled back into place. He stood up quickly and spun to face the shinigami that had just kicked him to the ground. A sinister smile graced his face as he lifted his sword the low light glimmering off the black blade. Indeed it will be a fight to remember. Come then shinigami mutt tell me your name so that i may remember this fight if it pleases me.[/i]
OOC: Sorry i would have posted as soon as it was my turn but i had no inspiration.

Sven's blade met with the surface of the Shinigami's, metal clashing against metal,, as both combatants flew backwards, Sven Sonido'ing back 15 feet upon being thrown backwards to analyze the situation on hand. His Pesquisa detected another spike in the Shinigami's power levels, though it occurred to Sven that the reaper was holding back. At the Shinigami's current level, he surpassed Sven, yet as Sven's eyes trailed over the Shinigami's outstretched arm, which seemed far too slow, it was apparent the Shinigami was mocking him. From the position in which the reaper held his arm, Sven could tell the Shinigami was anticipating a counter manuever.
Smiling slightly, Sven's blade was held out in front of him as the fingers of his left hand ran across the blade, a silver light gathering along the blade's edge. As his fingers left the blade, Sven would push his hand outwards in a wave like motion as a lone Bala shot off his fingertips in an arc of white energy towards Azerik, his mouth muttering the words, Destrozando la Tierra, as the light gathered across the blade increased to a more luminescent white, bordering on the edge of a neon hue.
Sven's eyes analyzed the Shinigami's motion, as he brushed a strand of his silver hair that had fallen in front of his eyes aside, before bringing it down in another sweep, sending three more Bala rocketing towards Azerik.

Post by Takehiko Rokujo on Apr 2, 2012 14:00:48 GMT -5
"Kuro can handle himself," Takehiko said to himself as he left the strange Arrancar and the Vizard Elder to their business, "I have more important things to attend to."
Using Shunpo, Takehiko began to climb up as high as he could above the battle, speaking quietly as he moved. "Gokushou," came the name of his Zanpaktou as he halted his movement, his blade becoming crystal clear, and partially filling with a black liquid ink. Tapping the blade on the side of his left gauntlet, he released a small spurt of the ink, which ran to the blade. Flicking the blade, he scattered the ink over the battlefield, repeating the process several times before removing a tightly bound scroll from his waist, situated where his sword sheath used to be.
Unrolling the scroll quickly, the mountain man surveyed what was placed on it, a series of moving black dots, labeling both his enemies and his allies in flowing calligraphy, on a rough map of the area they were fighting in, drawn flawlessly in black ink. Scanning the scroll quickly, Takehiko placed his sword in the white rope obi around his waist, and and removed the calligraphy brush from the pommel.
Locating Daisuke's mark on his scroll, Takehiko looked in the direction the map indicated, and saw what was happening with his comrade. Drawing a swift line on his scroll, Takehiko's power formed an inky black barrier above a group of civilians, protecting them from falling rubble, so that Daisuke could focus on his opponent. With a few more strokes of his brush, Takehiko had encased Daisuke and his opponent in a make shift box, with sparse specks of light getting through.
That done, Takehiko began to chant, "Black and white net. Twenty-two bridges, sixty-six crowns and belts. Footprints, distant thunder, sharp peak, engulfing land, hidden in the night, sea of clouds, blue line. Form a circle and fly through the heavens. Bakudou #77: Tenteikura!" As the spell came into effect, Takehiko began to draw lines over the plots on his scroll that represented the Hollow hoardes, taking out as many as he could as he began to speak to all the Shinigami who had no commanding officers present.
"Start forming squads of 4 or 5, don't worry about what Divisions you're from, just watch each others backs. If you encounter a friendly squad in a bad situation, and are not currently engaging a target, move to support your comrades until another enemy engages you in combat...If you are separated from your squad mates, cast Shakahou into the air, and I will take precautions to ensure your safety until you can meet up with your or another squad; likewise, if you lose a squad mate, or take casualties, remain calm and keep an eye out for comrades not accompanied by a squad and move to assist and assimilate...try and keep squads to below 10 people, otherwise you risk becoming primary targets."
Changing the focus of the kidou spell, Takehiko began to speak to the Captain and Vice-Captain of the 4th Division. "I'm taking precautions to ensure the safety of the makeshift hospice," he said as with four strokes of his brush he formed a perimeter around the location of 4th Division camp, "If its fine with you, I'd like it if you could focus on field treatment, and aiding the squads I've just organized."

Azerik groaned as he realized his ruse had been seen through...he had forgotten about the Arrancar's Pesquisa, an annoying ability they all apparently had according to the database.
Since the facade was now pointless, Azerik easily swatted away the first Bala fired at him with his sword, and dodged two of the next three, before simply holding his sword in front of him to block the last one. "Looks like that plan went down the drain," Azerik said as he focused his gold hued eyes on the Espada, "I suppose I shouldn't have expected to be able to trick someone as powerful as you."
As he stood there looking at Sven, 5 black spheres would materialize between them, forming a makeshift barrier, with barely enough space for a stray stone to pass between the spheres. "Lets get pleasantries out of the then Espada," Azerik said as he gripped his sword hilt with both hands, and allowed the reiatsu shield on his left arm to activate, "I'm Azerik Zaraki, Vice-Captain of the 12th Division, and who is it that I have the pleasure of fighting?"

Nonko's eyes followed the dragon as best he could without trying to lock onto it with his artificial eye. With the dragon incoming again with fire attack Nonko moved fast to flash step away from the building as the fire engulfed the building. This time he appeared standing in the sky with a clear sight on the beast.
"Walls of ironsand, a priestly pagoda, glowing ironclad fireflies. Standing upright, silent to the end. Bakudou 75. Gochûtekkan!" He chanted quickly while targeting the dragon over it's would be riding who was heading here as well. He was hoping to pin the dragon done to get it to stop moving. "You would make for an interesting specimen in my experiments"
