Karzan had finally come to terms with the fact that his master was missing, but that didn't mean he could slack off. If he was going to claim the Throne in Anubis' absence, he needed to get stronger. As things stood now, he wasn't even half as powerful as Anubis had been. The new Segunda was going to help him rectify this problem.
Moments before he had left the throne room, he had ordered one of Anubis' servants-he still could not think of them as his servants-to tell Virgil Elysium that he would be waiting in the desert. He had now been waiting for several minutes, and was itching to fight.

Foot steps moving across the sand would be heard as someone was clearly approaching from Los Noches, undoubtedly Karzan would recognize the man as Virgil if he went to look at him. "I'll admit I didn't expect to receive such a request anytime soon. But your situation is rather dire Lord of the Deep, you need strength to be leader...and you need your espada to grow strong to keep your army together. Nice for us that sparing can solve both of those needs." The man slowly spoke as his approach finally ended but a few feet from his Lord. "I seem to have a decent hold over the other two...hopefully it will last." Virgil's calm demeanor seemed to hide the thoughts running through his head, as he was in a constant dug of war with the "other two."
"I would like a request before we start. ...Under my current condition using Resurrección may prove...problematic, so I suggest that we avoid using them, Lord of the Deep." He suggested with a serious tone in his voice. "Pheh, why hold back our greatest power! This is why I hate you, you do this to piss me off, don't you? You know full well that I can't do much unless we release! Well...that's easy then, if he pushes us enough it'll be MY turn anyway." A voice yelled in his head, but again the man seemed unfazed in the outside world. "Aside from this...I have no other rules of engagement, and am fully prepared to fight now, Lord of the Deep." He gave a light bow, placing his right hand on his Zanpakuto.

Karzan looked at Virgil, and turned to face him properly. He considered the man's condition carefully before speaking.
"If we aren't going to use our releases, then I have another condition to add," Karzan said upon seeing Virgil place his hand on his sword, "we fight with our fists and feet, no blades. Of course, should you choose to retract your condition, my condition also becomes void. If you agree, then we shall cast aside our swords, if not, no restrictions, other than that of no killing your opponent."

Virgil's hand flinched back from his blade's handle before he unsheathed it. "...That's agreeable. I'll accept your conditions, Lord of the Deep." Retracting his arm he moved his feet to a more battle ready stance. Virgil was used to fighting with his hands, it was one of the reasons he had such raw power even when unreleased. Restrictions on his sword did not matter much to him. As he prepared himself for battle "the lion" seemed to have stayed his tongue, at least for the moment, very relieving for "the snake." "We will begin at your ready, Lord of the Deep." He stated simply raising his hands in a stretched out stance. He waited for Karzan to announce the beginning of their fight.

Karzan smiled. Just by looking at Virgil, he could see that his strength was his main focus. His muscles while not particularly large, were well defined, and dense. By Karzan's judgement, Virgil was a great deal slower than he was.
Feeling the need to assert his dominance in this area, Karzan used Sonido, dashing forward, and aimed a high speed punch at Virgil's stomach with his left hand, then aimed a more powerful punch with his right hand at the same spot. After both punches, he would jump back and settle into a defensive stance, ready to dodge at a moments notice. Smiling still Karzan would say, "That would be the signal to start."

Virgil stood there as Karzan preformed Sonido on him, a fast moving technique that would easily place him in front the Segunda Espada. He sent left punch directly into Virgil's stomach, causing him to heave backward an inch while Karzan wound up his right hand for another punch to his stomach. However, as his punch went flying it was caught Virgil's own right hand, who used his own power to clench onto the fist tightly. Virgil was slow for an arrancar, but his reflex's were top notch, higher than most others, upon being struck by Karzan's first fist he was fully prepared to stop the second more powerful one.
"Sonido? It is a fast and elegant technique, but it lacks a certain force that I find myself using quite often." He would then throw a quick punch to Karzan's face with his left fist before releasing him and allowing him to jump backward to a safer position. "Understood, Lord of the Deep, we shall now begin." Virgil wound not pursue his opponent, instead walking around him in a circle pattern, watching the man closely, it seemed he was a calculating fighter. He held both arms up, on in front of his face and another in front of his left side, waiting for Karzan's next move.

(I also have Reflex Master dude, and I'm way faster, so don't get too excited This is gonna be one hell of a match though. I was kind of sad you said no release, I'm a no holds barred kind a guy, I like going all out.) Karzan rubbed his cheek, smiling. "It's true I'm not as physically strong as you are," Karzan said spitting out some blood, "but my speed, reflexes and reiatsu make up for it."Flaring his reiatsu, Karzan would smile, knowing that the small amount of pressure it would apply, would slow Virgil's reaction time. Dashing forward without Sonido this time, Karzan fired a Bala at Virgil, then then launched himself into a flurry of punches. He would aim a total of 5 successive punches at Virgil's chest, then use Sonido to move to the right, and aim a high kick at Virgil's left side.

((All in good fun, just cause my character claims no releases doesn't mean it can't happen by the end. Especially when a certain one of his personalities may want that release to happen. I'm just playing him like I think he'd act in this situation.))
Virgil managed to fire a bala of his own just in time to stop Karzan's own from hitting, just inches away from his face. This left little time to react as Karzan rushed to send a series of punches his way. Thanks to his lord's speed and skill, the five punches managed to connect to varying degree's, some hit's were better than others. "...I expected no less." He said with a slight grunt in his voice as he was knocked back. "If the Lord of the Deep did not have power he wouldn't be leader for very long, certainly not in Los Noches." He said truthfully, something Karzan knew himself to be true.
This first attack had knocked the espada back a few steps and seemed to have caused his tail to unravel from it's "belt" like appearance. However, this was done on purpose as he whipped it around him in a near 360 degree arc at the same time Karzan would attempt to kick him from the left. If the bone-like tail managed to hit him it would wrap around the espada's leg and throw him to the ground with about as much force as the fist he had thrown at the lord just moments earlier, the odds of success lied in whether Karzan would follow through with his attack.

The bone like tail caught Karzan by surprise, and threw him to the ground. Rolling to avoid taking too much damage, Karzan got to his feet quickly, and began to charge a Cero in his left hand.
"Which is why you're here," Karzan said in response to Virgil's words, "I have the mindset and the skill to be Lord of the Deep, but I need the raw strength that Lord Anubis has, or at least a fraction of it. Training is the only way I'm going to get that!"
Launching himself forward with Sonido, Karzan kicked at Virgil's stomach, and pushed himself off his opponent, landing on his feet a little farther back. As he regained his balance, he aimed his left palm at Virgil, and fired the Cero that was being charged, while simultaneously launching two Bala, one after the other, from his right hand.

"So the Lord of the Deep will use his espada as catalyst for power? Interesting..." He drowned out as Karzan rose to his feet with Cero in hand. In Response, Virgil began charging a Cero of his own within his right hand. Karzan once again used Sonido, appearing in front of the man and delivered a kick to Virgil's stomach and jumped back some distance from his first move. As Virgil began stepping back his tail whipped around the ground and shot sand up in all directions around the section of desert he stood. While within the sand, Virgil punched the ground with incredible force causing that section to literally crater inward. As the Cero flew into the dust cloud it would fly right through, clearly making contact with nothing as it flew overhead from Virgil's point of view.
Virigl then jumped up from his little "hiding spot" with a fully charged Cero, which he fired right at the weaker bala's towards his lord. "I find myself intrigued, Lord of the Deep. What is our plan? Are we to find our former lord and return his "order"...or over power him upon his eventual return to Los Noches? Or perhaps something completely different?" As he said this he would drop down upon Karzan regardless of the outcome with his Cero and would spin himself rapidly, using the tail like a whip at his opponent,

Karzan used Sonido to dodge the Cero, and grabbed Virgil's tail as it was spinning, using it to toss the Segunda into the sand.
"Lord Anubis will come back if and when he wishes to," Karzan said cracking his knuckles, "looking for him would be a waste of time. What others do upon his return is their choice, I however, will give him back his throne, and take my position as Second in Command."

"Not very ambitious, Lord of the Deep, but an acceptable answer none the less. Some are just not meant to lead, it's understandable." He said calmly, not revealing any of his own intentions or insights...just merely commenting on the subject. As Karzan released the Espada's tail, he soon found the very thing wrapping around his arms and pulling him directly towards Virgil with incredible force, who had already raised to his feet and now faced his leader, due to his strength. As Karzan was essentially the one being thrown into Virgil from the tail he would receive a powerful right hook to his face, while his left would fire a bala point black into his leader's chest. The tail would attempt to wrap itself further around the arrancar and keep him tied up and close so that the segunda espada could send right and left punches as he pleased.
"Keep hitting him..that's it! Every punch you throw is waking me up more and more!" The Lion roared over and over again in between his talking. "Why bother fighting? I've always enjoyed eating over throwing a punch...much less effort involved." Another voice spoke up in between it's yawns. As the two voices talked more and more some visible strain was actually being seen on Virgil's face, as his right eye seemed to be twitching somewhat uncontrollably.

"You're starting to piss me off," Karzan growled. Freeing one of his hands, Karzan grabbed one of Virgil's arms as it came at his face again. Then, freeing his second hand, he swatted aside the second punch, and place the tip of his finger on Virgil's forehead. It was a technique he had learned from Lord Anubis, but only now as Lord of the Deep was he allowed to use it. Channeling his reiatsu into Virgil, he would find three minds inside him, but only one was in control right now.
Exercising his control over the Espada, Karzan forced Virgil to let him go, then moving his finger from the Segunda's forhead, he punched him in the face, and faster than Virgil could see, drew his sword, and stabbed him in the shoulder.
"If you're going to get cocky," Karzan said pulling out his sword from the man's shoulder, "why don't we see what happens when we scrap those stupid restrictions we placed."
Karzan raised his sword and pointed it at Virgil, saying its name in a barely audible whisper, "Destello-Colmillo."
His reiatsu surged, and he was surrounded in a cloud of sand. As the sand began to disperse, he was revealed, with black armored skin around his arms and legs, meeting at his midsection, and a collar of white armor around his neck. His armored hands and feet were clawed, and he was grinning in such a way that his abnormally sharp canine teeth stood out like fireflies in the night.
"I was never one to play fair in the first place," Karzan said grinning widely, "fairness isn't something you find in real life."

The sword was swatted away before it made contact with Virgil's shoulder, as his own sword was removed to parry it. Whatever power of his mind Karzan had used, it's domination over Virgil was too brief, as soon as his mind was dominated the most awaken mind took over, and a Lion's roar was heard. "Finally!" The darker, more impatient sounding voice stated as the sword was knocked away; it still sounded like Virgil, but the calm demeanor was gone, in place a powerful bloodlust. "It's soooo boring listening to myself have to go on and ON with all this bullshit...Haha! I'm done humoring you! Now we'll really start fighting!" As he said this he stabbed his sword into the hollow hole in his hand.
"I was doing you a favor OH lord of the deep, but no more...Hermano Del Cerbero!" He yelled as his body began changing radically, the head of a goat covering his left fist and the head of a lion covering his right...white fur covering his body giving off the impression of a vest, the lion like legs...and finally the snake replacing the tail. The mouths of the Lion's and goat shaped heads opened to reveal the man's hands. "The Chimera has awakened! I am in control now, and you two will follow my lead, you won't object if you want to win!" One voice said aloud to the other two, who did not appear to answer. The voices did not appear to come from any of the mouths, just in open air. "Push me to my limits, I want to enjoy this!" He said to his lord, hungry for a good fight.

Reiatsu: 160+65+10=235
Attack: 170+65+15=250
Speed: 140+65+15=220
Weapon Skill: 95+65+10=170 "Interesting mind you have there," Karzan said smiling, "and a an interesting release to go with it. This match will be interesting too...my howl won't have any effect on you."Karzan fired 5 fang shaped Bala as fast as he could, and without waiting to see if they would cut into his opponent, he extended his claws to their fullest length, and leaped at his opponent full speed, slashing at him with both hands.

Reiatsu: 140 + 65 = 205
Attack: 200 + 65 = 265
Speed: 75 + 65 = 140
Weapon Skill: 60 + 65 = 125
Unfortunately for The Chimera, Karzan's speed was and beyond anything he could keep up with and the espada was blasted the the five bala's unable to keep up with the attack, leaving him open for Karzan's claws to come and cutting into his shoulders. As Karzan did this the snake head was slithering around him, attempting to bite into his backside as he preformed his attacks, after he had cut into Virgil, the segunda espada lifted his two arms and from the heads that attached themselves to them, blew destructive fire made from his own reiatsu that would burn far past his opponents nails, a good twenty foot spread, that if it hit him would begin to burn into his body, a corrosive power.

((Its not +50 for stats, its +65 because you are an Espada between 1 and 4. If you were a normal Arrancar it would be +60 still. bleachalt21.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=system&action=display&thread=263 )) After Karzan's claws cut into Virgil's shoulder, he saw the snake head come around and behind him. He ducked as it would lunge at him to bit into his spine, and his eyes widened as flames came from the gaping mouths that were on Virgil's arms. Using Sonido, Karzan quickly jumped upwards, and stopped in mid air. His extended claws had been set aflame by the attack however, so he waved his hands in a motion that caused them to snap off and fire towards Virgil. As the flaming needles made there way towards the Segunda, Karzan's claws would regenerate almost instantly. He flexed his fingers to make sure there was no lasting damage, then turned his attention back to Virgil. Curling his hands into fists, he used Sonido again, and tried to ram his left hand into Virgil's stomach, then immediately backed off, only to Sonido forward again, and attempt to slam his fist into Virgil's jaw in the form of an uppercut.

((Ah, good to know, I changed it accordingly))
The Chimera managed to move away from the incoming nails by jumping backwards, narrowly escaping being impaled by them, he then looked up and watched his opponent with a simple grin. When the nails landed on the ground, the fire seemed to burn them to the point of disintegration as they now lacked the power Karzan had. "My fire is far from ordinary...think of it as a poison almost, when my opponent is struck by my fire the reiatsu within it travels onto my enemy and begins to burn into them...the fire itself is merely aesthetic, it is my reiatsu that does the work...I believe those claws will know what I mean by now." He would explain to his opponent, who by now would begin feeling the burning sensation in his hands, Karzan was smart to remove the nails, as he only felt some of the damage he would have had the fire been allowed to spread. "So that means you can enjoy the pain so long as I touch you with my fire!" He enthusiastically said as his simple smile turned to a malicious grin as the snake tail returned to underneath his arms.
As he finished talking Karzan would Sonido to the segunda espada again, attempting to stab him with his left hand but the snake tail would bite into the hand and lift it backwards away from the chimera, it's jaw having a surprisingly strong hold on him as it dug into the hand. If Karzan tried to Sonido now it would take Virgil with him. "There is only so many times that technique can help you!" Virgil himself opened his mouth revealing another fiery breath that escaped from it right into the face of his enemy. "Burn!" He said as released his attack, Karzan would most likely realize that the espada could fire his attack from any of the mouths now.

(Note: Never assume your counter attack worked.)
Karzan smiled. Virgil was assuming too much here, and after discarding his claws, the burning had discontinued. The armored Hollow Skin covering his body saw that no damage had been done to his actual body.
Karzan easily dodged the snake hand, having gotten used to its style of movement, then fired 2 fang shaped Bala, one at each of Virgil's arms. As he did so, he would flare his reiatsu to slow Virgil down, then charged and fired a Cero from his left hand.

With Virgil pinned down and his speed too slow to keep up, he was easily damaged by the two bala's and with the reiatsu keeping him in place as blasted by the cero several feet backwards until he collided with a large slab of rock. "D-damn it!" A voice coughed out from the smoke caused by the attack as Virgil fell to one knee as blood began to poor from a wound to his chest caused by the cero. "Are we stopping now? Sleeping seems like the easier choice than fighting this one." One voice thought within the arrancar's head. "Ah, to spar with another espada, it's dangerous. I tried to keep things civilized but...thus is the world of the hollow. Lion, you best give it a rest, or you won't be in control for much longer." The snake head warned to the other within their shared mind.
The one in control ignored them, pushing himself back to his feet despite the injury, he charged and fired a cero at his opponent firing it from the head of the lion.
