"Killing such a useful tool would be quite the mistake."
The words come from seemingly nowhere. Echoing from between the buildings near by. However it was shortly after the words reached their ears a flood of a powerful reiatsu covered the rooftop the arrancar were meeting on. In the blink of an eye a man with purple hair now stood among them all.
It was Teisuke. A man whom Karzan had met not long ago. He stood staring at the girl with an almost peaceful smile on his face, but a demonic shine to his red eyes. In his left had was his sheathed blade.
"I'm sure I can think of many uses for you my dear... all of which allow you to live and return unharmed by these foolish shinigami-like hollows."
He spoke to the shinigami girl for the most part ignoring the arrancar around him. He soon turned to Karzan however and began to speak.
"We got off on the wrong foot... I'm sure Anubis would wish that I continue working to an agreement of allyship with Espada." ((I've been hesitating to throw Teisuke into this mix, but after a quick debate with myself(I flipped a coin) I posted in the end. Now lets see what happens next... shall we?))

"We aren't gonna kill her," Kyoshin responded calmly, stepping in between Chiaki and Teisuke as if to defend the Shinigami from this newcomer. He threw Virgil an annoyed glance, before turning back to Teisuke and reflexively using Pesquisa to gauge his power. His entire attitude towards another being typically depended on how their powers compared, and he usually resented those who he had no chance of ever defeating.
Anubis again... As the man spoke to Karzan on an alliance of some sort, Kyoshin felt annoyed that this lost Arrancar kept determining the fate of the Arrancar, despite being gone for how long now? Anubis this, Anubis that... His head shook quickly and he looked back at their captive Shinigami, then at Rose. He sighed. Perhaps things weren't as bad just submitting to Karzan.

Post by Taira Kurohyou on May 8, 2011 6:43:36 GMT -5
Tai walked silently along the streets, her hands shoved in her pockets, head down, and some new bought sun glasses placed over her eyes. She had set off in a quick hurry when Suka alerted her that her dear vice captain was in danger. She followed the Reiatsus closely, praying they wouldn’t realize Chiaki was a shinigami so she could claim her “daughter”, count the arrancars and return home back to Shani and her Division, her hoping was in vain.
When she felt them in good distance she made account for everything so she looked as human as possible. Hair was in a messy tie, she wasn't paying mind to the group that was there, acting like she didn’t see them. The hardest for her to muster up was the heel to toe walking. Because of training she had become use to walking toe to heel, it was quieter, made her quicker and allowed her to react better. As she walked heel to toe, she prayed she wouldn’t be walking as sloppy as she felt she was.
She was angry when she saw them. They had Chiaki…Her bottom jaw slammed against her top jaw as she kept on walking. Suka said something about not being noticed and Shani told them before they left not to start a fight with the Arrancars. But oh, Tai was not only angry at the Arrancars for holding her vice captain but where was Captain Ran Mao. Her blood boiled, angry at the captain. The captain had to have left Chiaki because Tai made specific orders for her to stick to Ran Mao. Why would a captain be so careless to leave a vice captain, no…scratch that, a new vice captain who has never been to the human world before, by herself? Oh yes, Taira Kurohyou was indeed, very much angry.
Pushing her sunglasses up she made sure they wouldn’t be able to see her eyes wonder over to them. One, Two, Three…why was that Arrancar protecting Chiaki? Was one of them planning on harming her?! Most likely all those dogs were just waiting for their master to throw Chiaki out like a bone! Tai exhaled out her nose, she knew her orders from Shani; she knew she was spouse to stay hidden. But Chiaki was her vice captain, Chiaki was here because her captain said so! Chiaki was Tai’s responsibility, and Tai had told Shani time and time again about her duty to her division. She would break the rules, disobey her orders if it meant saving her division. But she wondered…was she so protective of Chiaki because she was her division or because Chiaki was much more. Chiaki was a best friend, almost like a daughter.
She had to return to counting. She suddenly looked down, “noticing” her shoelace was untied. Truth was she untied her left shoe before she came here, stumbling and tripping while she was trying to figure out how to avoid face planting into the side walk. Slowly, she tied her shoe, letting her eyes slightly slide over to the arrancars, making sure her sunglasses covered them. One, Two, Three, Four, Five…Six…Seven.
Suddenly, she could feel her stomach in her throat; she bit her bottom lip, returning her eyes to her shoelaces as she double knotted them then tugged just to make sure it was tight enough. She gulped and stood up straight. She hoped Chiaki would know she was hiding, she hoped Chiaki was strong enough not to call out for her captain out of fear, or even stare at her captain. Tai was started to wonder if this was such a good idea. Four shinigami; two captains, a vice, and a third seat…seven arrancars.
She should have hidden better, if she knew that there were so many Arrancars she would have stayed in the shadows. She cursed in her mind, praying to what god there was that Chiaki would not notice her at all. She was just another human just taking a pleasant stroll, like humans do, going to buy some food, like humans do, not noticing the strong people surrounding the red head…
Poor Chiaki…

Post by Karzan Zaraki on May 8, 2011 14:59:06 GMT -5
A grin split across Karzan's face when Teisuke appeared, his hand twitching, as the urge to unsheathe his blade entered his mind. He held back from the urge, knowing it would be foolish, but relishing the memory of his last encounter with this man...and the sound their blades had made when they clashed.
"So nice to see you again," Karzan said when Teisuke finally addressed him, "I was not aware you were acquainted with Lord Anubis...or that you were negotiating an alliance with him."
Karzan paused in his speech, when he felt a newer, weaker presence enter the area. He turned to see what appeared to be a human woman, tying up her shoe laces. But in his head, he knew her appearance. He had seen her face in the information he had taken from Chiaki. He glared at her for but a moment, hoping one of the Espada would notice his concentration on the woman and take action, before he turned back to Teisuke and resumed speaking.
"You may rest assured that I won't have this Shinigami killed out of hand," he said briskly, "I could simply erase her memory of this encounter and send her on her way, with the urge to return to this spot in a few days time, so that I can extract more information...there's a great number of useful things I could have her do for me with my power...but back to you. Is there anything you would like to cement this alliance you sought with our kind?"

Post by Abel Nox on May 9, 2011 18:25:37 GMT -5
Abel looked at the new comer and upon hearing that he was allied with Anubis, left it at that, it was not his place to voice his opinon, however when Karzan moved his gaze to another and focused on another human. "maybe i should neh." he said aloud, before shaking his head deciding against it. "you want the "human" brought here" abel would more like state rather than ask makin sure to have a mockin tone on human signifying he caught on to Karzan's gaze, and wrote it off as one their captives comrades.
He began walking towards her not bothering with the order knowing it would come and spoke upon getting within the 'human's earshot' "might not want to look so odd there, human, or should i say shinigami. dont worry, under orders not to physically harm you, however you might want to join since its in your best interest." he flashes his rank to make the point, and walks back and stands beside Rose.

Kyoshin stepped in front of her and Chiaki looks a bit shocked. She looks up at the back of his head with wide eyes. She hesitantly peeks around him to look at the newcomer, she had no idea who he was or why an arrancar became protective of her because of him.
She hadn't been paying attention to their leader, but her attention snaps to the first Espada when he mentions an human. Chiaki's eyes turn to the street, and her breath catches in her throat. Tai? No, no nonono! Chiaki's eyes widen as the Primera Espada goes over to her.
She had basically forgotten about the others, just the danger was present in her mind. Abel turns to come back, expecting Tai to follow and Chiaki just loses it, "NO! Tai! Go back! Find the others and go back! I'm fine! Go!" Chiaki just about screams out. She was pleading with, Tai, please don't Tai could escape more easily than she could. Soul Society needed her more. Besides, she knew Tai wouldn't let her be stuck here, if that's what the Arrancar decided, anyways.
Chiaki took a few steps toward Tai, it was just a simple reaction. The Arrancar had easily put the fear into her about trying to run, she simply just took a few steps toward her captain, feeling better that she could be that much closer to the one who gave her everything she had.

Post by Sven Delacroix on May 10, 2011 10:20:50 GMT -5
Sven's back remained pressed against the side of one of the stores as his hand reached uneasily towards the hilt of his zanpaktou. As his fingers slid down, they met the ribbons trailing from the guard, eventually tightening around the grip, his gaze fixated on the man who had made his presence known. Just what we need, another egomaniacal spirit.... As Karzan spoke to the man, Sven could detect a slight resentment in his voice towards the intruder. Loosening his grip on the hilt slightly, he twirled the ribbons around his fingertips should need call for it. "Well, Karzan, aren't you going to introduce us?"
Keeping the enigmatic entity in the corner of his eye, he glanced over to Abel, exerting his superiority over a girl who had just stumbled into the area by once again flashing his number. As Abel walked back towards the Espada, Sven pushed himself off of the wall he was propped against, shaking his head. Leave it to the Primera to show off a little. Sven took a couple steps forward, before vanishing and reappearing behind the girl in a burst of Sonido, his face looming in next to hers, his lips inches away from her ear as he broke out into a smile as he whispered. "We already know who you are thanks to your comrade here, so you might as well join in on our conversation."
His hands rose up to rest on the Shinigami's shoulders, as he continued to lean over to whisper in her ear."It's not as though you have anything to lose, Shinigami. You're already surrounded by several Arrancar, so it's not as though you could escape unless we allowed it."Sven's eyes glanced towards the girl already being held captive, his smile growing wider as he noticed Chiaki move forward by a few paces. It wasn't vastly noticeable, but it seemed the two possessed some kind of bond. The girl was a Vice Captain, so most of her feeling must be geared towards her direct superior, which if Sven was correct, meant this girl was a Captain."By the way, wouldn't you like to save your dear friend? You two seem to be close. Am I right, Captain?"
Sven applied a slight pressure to the back of the girl's shoulders with his fingers in an attempt to get her to move closer to the others.

Virgil simply grunted a sigh when everyone seemed against killing her. A part of Virgil just wanted to kill the shinigami to spite them at that point, especially when some random spirit appeared before them and said the same thing. The espada shrugged his shoulders at this point; he had no clue who this man was or what he wanted and frankly he did not care either, he just seemed like another annoying pest to get in the way of their little meeting. He spoke of some alliance with Karzan but again Virgil was not interested in this.
With a small flash he sonido'd to the edge of the area they all spoke and took a seat. What else was he gonna do right now, his problems with the Lord of the Deep had just been discussed and brought out into the open and he cared little for the rest of these little happenings, such as the appearance of another apparent shinigami who was easily revealed thanks to that cowardly vice-captains shouting. He would just sit for now and wait, he supposed, until he felt like saying or doing something.
