Kyoshin's feet touched lightly upon the roof of a store overlooking the devastation that had occurred at his last visit to this area of Karakura. He could remember his battle with Clyde vividly, it had only been a few days ago, and the humans had barely begun to repair the damage the two had caused to this area. Funny, how humans could keep going on with their lives and never really notice what was happening around them...
He flared his Reiatsu, hoping to draw the attention of the other Arrancar. Sure, this wasn't the place Karzan had said to do so, but he didn't really give a damn about what Karzan said right now... Really, he wanted to collect the opinions of the Espada on some... internal affairs. But if other factions showed up, then he welcomed company... He grinned to himself as he leapt down to the middle of a street, figuring he'd waste some time before the others got there.
(Now, Arrancar, you are posting here under agreement that you don't attack the Shinigami. Sorry, it's our agreement.)

Chiaki had been walking around, keeping her head down. She had been told to lay low, but in a place where nothing was familiar she had no idea what to do in order to not stand out. Ran Mao hadn't told her very much about this place, but she couldn't help but feel nervous being out on her own.
What would Tai say if she found out she left Ran Mao's side? Though she had been told to do so. She shakes her head, everything was falling apart. She walked down the street and just about froze as there was a very unfamiliar reiatsu flare. This can't be good... This cannot be good in the least.... She moves to the nearest wall she could find and puts her back to the wall. Please don't sense me...

Karzan had been wondering around for most of the day, and when Kyoshin flared his Reiatsu, he happened to be in the Shopping District. He lazily headed toward his subordinates location, and when he arrive, he waved lazily as well. "I assume you've something important to discuss," he said bluntly, "this method of communication is not very efficient in terms of keeping meeting secret...well anyway, since you went to the trouble to start gathering everyone, I suppose I'll collect the memories of all your battles since we arrived...I still need to see you're fight with Clyde after all."

Sven yawned deeply, as his eyes began to open. His back was propped up against a gnarled oak, a book laying across his exposed chest. Glancing around lazily, he had begun to take a liking to this human realm as there always seemed to be some sound to occupy himself with. Even now, the robins were chirping away cheerfully in the branch above him. It was so different than the wasteland of Hueco Mundo and he relished it.
It wasn't until the sensing of someone flashing their spiritual pressure, that Sven even decided to move. Pulling himself to his feet, he looked over in the direction. From the unmistakable attributes of the reiatsu, he made it out as belonging to Kyoshin. Glancing downward at his current attire, he let out a slight groan as it seemed inadequate for a meeting. Pulling his cloak across his chest, he decided it couldn't be helped.
In a burst of Sonido, Sven vanished, reappearing every 30 feet as his feet scraped across the rooftops of the buildings littering Karakura. As his eyes met the figure he recognized as Kyoshin, he let himself enter freefall, his coat flapping violently in the wind behind him. It would be a few seconds before Sven's feet touched the rough concrete. As usual, Sven was silent, as he walked up next to Kyoshin, giving a brief nod to Karzan, who had apparently arrived before him. "Hello, Agotar.....And Zaraki..."

"Heheh...Why must you learn of that, my lord?" A snicker would be heard behind the lord of the deep as Virgil Sonido'd next to the two, having felt the reiatsu from quiet a distance away. "Good day, my espada friends." It was clear Virgil had gotten better since his fight with the human boy, if his personality didn't prove it. "You already saw what the boy could do from my own mind, I doubt there is much more to learn..." He sighed, placing his hands against his side. "Though this is quite interesting to hear. Kyoshin battled the human boy? I was completely unaware. I suppose since my battle with him I had to...ahem, rest for some time. I hope I'm not too out of the loop..." He vaguely explained, with his usual calm grin across his face. "Is this the reason we're here to talk...?" He spoke with fake curiosity. There was something about Karzan immediately wanting to probe the mind of Kyoshin that bothered Virgil, even if he was hiding it. He wondered what had happened himself to the espada though...something seemed...different about his current attitude. Virgil still hoped he had seen things his way but he had doubted such a change would occur. It still made him wonder though...

Rose floated peacefully across the splashes of reiatsu around her body. It felt so innocent up in the air, the light wind pressing against her face, her hair flowing freely. The air was so much thicker in hueco mundo and sand always got everywhere. Here…it just felt cleaner. But the Tercero reminded herself silently that she had been on a mission to find the other arrancar and that’s what she planned to do. Unfortunately, however, she had lost Virgil’s trail in the splashes of color. She moved herself forward, lightly pressing against what felt like the wall of a building and laid against it in midair. There was reiatsu everywhere but none of it was particularly strong…still she never expected so much reiatsu in the world of the living.
That was when her “sight” went black. She gasped in a moment of panic, putting her hands to the hollow mask covering where her eyes would have been. She had no means of seeing outside of reiatsu, and the very idea of losing that precious sight terrified her, until she realized what it was. She recognized the feeling….her “vision” had not failed, Kyoshins reiatsu was being released and its energy was covering up the patterns of the weaker reiatsu she had been observing. After a moment to readjust her sight to the new batch of reiatsu, the outlines began to return…if dulled a bit because of Kyoshins power. She gave a sigh of relief, both for it being a false alarm, and because she would now be able to find her fellow espada much easier thanks to Kyoshin.
It took a few minutes, but soon she found herself floating above the other arrancar. Hues of purple, black, silver, and teal outlined her comrades, distinguishing them from the colors around them. It was no doubt that her family had all gathered in this area. There was one outline nearby that stood out from the other humans, however, a red one. She couldn’t really recognize it, in fact she wasn’t really sure what it was as she floated right above it, but she left it alone. What or whoever it was, they clearly were not bothering the arrancar.
Without another moments notice she would land daintily next to the other arrancar…her family. She bowed with a small relieved smile, ”Kyoshin… Virgil…Sven, and lord Karzan. It has been awhile...I’m so glad you’re all safe.” Her voice was soft yet strong as she made her hello’s to the espada. Raising from her bow, she asked, ”I apologize for intruding in your campaign here in the human realm, but I grew worried when I received no notice within Los Noches…is everything okay here?

Of all the Arrancar in the town, why did Karzan have to be the first to show? He had called this meeting as he wanted to have a quick talk with the Espada before their Lord showed, but Karzan was right, his way of gathering them hadn't been covert to say the least. Kyoshin internally cursed his luck, but didn't show it. Instead he assumed his regular, amused grin and turned to his master, raising his eyebrows at Karzan's request. "As you wish, oh Lord of the Deep."
He strode forward and knelt before his master, turning his head slightly as the other Arrancar showed. "It's been a while, brothers," he greeted with a bit of sarcasm, before turning back to Karzan and bowing his head. He really didn't fear what Karzan would see in his head, he should already be aware of how their relationship stood... Though the entire nature of his duel with Clyde would raise questions, now doubt. Nonetheless he had not a shred of remorse, he even looked forward to Karzan knowing. The sooner he knew, the sooner things would be set in motion...
And that's when Rose showed up. Kyoshin looked back once more and grinned broadly, somehow pleased to see Rose. He was about to answer the girl, but faltered. He was about to cause a problem, possibly an uproar, once Karzan had read his memories. Was everything really alright? He knew Rose thought of the Arrancar as family, how would she take to what would happen? He almost felt guilty for his rebellious thoughts, and he felt a bit of his old loyalty to Karzan return. Who was he to tear this all apart? And now Karzan would see his fight with Clyde, there was no way out of it. His voice came again, calling out to Rose, sounding almost troubled. "Sure, Rose, everything's fine."
(BTW, guys, this thread is bound to get crowded, but make sure to maintain the post order, we wanna keep things from getting confusing and out of control as busy threads are prone to be.)

If Chiaki had been nervous at the one new reiatsu, she was now terrified that there were five of them, all drifting into the middle of the street near by her. Pretend you can't see them... Pretend you're a human... Move away slowly... They were looking for arrancar and here were five, plain as day and there was no way she could do anything about it, not that she was supposed to.
At this point she realized that she was too scared to move. Why, oh why, did Ran Mao leave her alone? She watched as the first bowed before the second the come. She really didn't want to know what was going on as the other three came up. She was too far away to hear them, but she wasn't sure that she wanted to. Slowly, she gets a foot to move, then her torso. She turns away slowly and moves, her heart racing. How was she supposed to find anyone to help her here?

For the moment, Karzan ignored the others as they arrived, and when Kyoshin stood in front of him, he placed his index finger on his subordinates head and withdrew the information, about his fight with Clyde, also absorbing the surface thoughts of Kyoshin as Ro0se arrived.
"Don't think I didn't already know," Karzan said as he withdrew his hold on Kyoshin's mind, "I'm not as foolish as you take me for. My ideals may be drastically different from your own, but I'm not stupid...you don't need to fear retribution for your thoughts or words Kyoshin, only for your actions against me."
Karzan nodded politely to Rose and glared at Sven-use of his surname was rare after all-before turning to Virgil. "Virgil...his power had already increased by at least 2 times since I fought him when you were beaten by him," Karzan said as if it should have been obvious, "his power grown at a very surprising rate, and its potential is unimaginable. Even having been defeated by Kyoshin, he showed surprising ingenuity for a Human."

Giving a small nod to acknowledge Rose's arrival, Sven's gaze then turned back towards Karzan his lips forming into his typical carefree smile. he seemed rather pleased with the fact that he struck a nerve with Karzan, but also slightly irritated at Karzan's unusual transfixation with the human boy. "The boy does seem to have his strengths, but he is still as ignorant as they come. I don't know exactly what you did to him, but it obviously eats at him like acid. I wouldn't be surprised should the boy become among our kin upon his death. As always, you are too cruel..."
Sven would pause as his silver eyes turned towards a nearby alleyway. The slight rustling of fabric had caught his attention. Pulling back his hair, he uncovered a ear that seemed to twitch as he tried to pick up the foreign sound. Next came something that sounded like the faint beating of a drum. No, it resonated differently, it sounded more like....a heart perhaps? Letting his brown hair fall back over his face, he turned back to Karzan, a melancholic expression on his face.
"It would appear we have company. It may just be a human, but someone has seemed to have come across our little rendezvous."

"Ah, Tercero, welcome. I had wondered when you would get bored within Los Noches. I suppose one of us should have taken the initiative to fill you in on what we were doing...but we are in one piece." He welcomed the young espada, giving a light bow of his head and gestured with his right hand. His eyes however watched Karzan and Kyoshin the entire time, not that she would notice. Virgil grunted as Karzan spoke of the human boy's strength to him. His apparent fixation with the human was becoming more and more obvious. The segunda had battled the human to see what the fuss was about, and indeed this Clyde was strong. He had managed to beat Virgil with his wit and power, but he was still one person. Virgil could admit he had incredible potential...but so what? Why was he even worth paying attention to? Was karzan so worried that this human would challenge him...or did he want the boy to challenge him? Karzan knew of his fight as well as Kyoshins. It was like he was throwing his espada at him to fuel his goals. Once again...Virgil grunted as he seemed to be figuring it out. He took a step forward, the movement of which had a lot of strength behind it to catch everyone's attention as it smashed into the cement, clearly some frustration in his movements. "Lord of the Deep, I grow tired of this. What is your fascination with this human boy? He is strong, yes, and I am shamed to have lost to him. But your fixation with him is unhealthy for both yourself and the espada, our entire campaign seems to be transfixed on him and his development. As one of your swords, I want an answer...Why are we here? Is it solely so you can fulfill your interest in this human? Is there any goal outside your own satisfaction? Would you bring us all out here for such a thing?" He kept his voice down, but it was clearly in a challenging tone. It seemed he had been right when he had spoke with Kyoshin during their spar that seemed so long ago now. He seemed ready to continue his little rant when Sven brought up the possibility of an ease dropper. "Hmm?" Virgil's tail swayed back and forth as he followed where the cuatro was looking. "Are you certain? I do not see anyone, and I doubt any of the human around here are strong enough to see us."

Rose’s face stared blankly at the espada who bowed to her politely, her hollow mask covering any expression in her eyes. It was unfortunate that she was blind, as her Seer’s Sight made it difficult to discern exactly what their movements signified taking her a moment to register if they were saying hello to her or not. A simple hello or acknowledgement would have been preferred and easier to understand, but they did not have much time to get used to her handicap before they had left for the human world so she was not surprised that they did not consider that a factor into gesturing with her. The espada lifted herself from her own bow at this point, standing up straight and at attention in front of the lord of the deep.
She remained quiet from that moment on, listening intently to what it was they had come here to discuss with one another. A discussion broke out about a human with apparently extraordinary abilities, as Karzan seemed to hold great interest with him. Something felt wrong though as they spoke with one another, the others seemed on edge with each word about this human was spoken about and this became readily apparent when Virgil literally put his foot down, catching her attention with the force he put into it.
He yelled out their Lord of the Deep, and Rose listened on with surprise at his sudden accusations until she had to speak up in Karzan’s defense. She moved forward and placed a hand on the segunda’s shoulder, trying to calm him down. ”Virgil, you shouldn’t speak of Lord Karzan like that. He was the one that brought us together and transformed us into Espada. Without him we would be all abandoned within Hueco Mundo, he deserves our respect, regardless of what you think of his plan.” She spoke softly to him, not trying to argue with him but to at least get him to back down from his ranting. ”Please, calm yourself.” The last thing she wanted was for the two to start arguing or worse. Perhaps Kyoshin was wrong when he said things were fine. ”Is this human a threat to us, Lord Karzan?” She asked their leader, hoping to intervene in their little argument.
”No, Sven is right…”The tercero said on whether there was someone nearby or not. ”My Seer’s Sight revealed a sixth person here with bright red hue of reiatsu as I flew here from above. I did not think much of it but I saw it coming from that direction. Would you like me to investigate, Lord karzan?” She offered to her superior, pointing her down towards the street where she had "seen" Chiaki's reiatsu.

Kyoshin rose to his feet, his head still bowed while his eyes looked off to the side. Right now he wasn't thinking about the interloper the others had detected, it could be attended to later. It became apparent as he clenched both his fists that he was trying to hold in his anger, but was failing. "Don't act," he spoke to Karzan quietly, his voice starting to shake, "As if action taken against you would be unjust, Karzan!" As he said the Lord of the Deep's name his voice would escalate, and all nearby would hear how furious he was.
He had expected to get some reaction from Karzan once the Lord had read his memories, but the Arrancar had acted just as condescending and on top of things as always. Kyoshin raised his head and looked to Karzan, rage burning in his eyes. He swung his arm and pointed at his master, now shouting at Karzan, "You're a traitor, yet you still demand our subservience? You swore your allegiance to that Vizard Jin, just to further your own power! You've betrayed us, you're planning to turn your back on Hueco Mundo!"
Part of him wondered if Rose would try to silence him as she did Virgil, but he really didn't care, now. He wanted this decided here and now, he couldn't keep plotting on his own. Either the Lord of the Deep was going to back down, or justify himself to his Espada and regain their loyalty. If he did neither, Kyoshin wanted to take action...

"I swear allegiance to no one but Lord Anubis," Karzan growled as his hand shot to Kyoshin's throat, "Jin will only have that if Anubis is dead. This title I bear is not mind but his! My loyalty lies with what Lord Anubis has created, and I'll not suffer a fool to usurp his throne, so I protect it!"His hand firmly on Kyoshin's throat, Karzan exercised his power over the Arrancar's mind, and shoved all of his thoughts into it, forcing Kyoshin to understand the truth as Karzan saw it. None of the Arrancar here-Karzan included-deserved the title of Lord. They all paled in comparison to the powers that stood before them. For the sake of their existence, the throne needed a level head to protect it until Anubis, or someone of equal power could again take the throne. Anyone weaker could not lead them without destroying them. So Karzan would sit on the throne, and make them all stronger. Power was all he wanted, for them, not for himself. The Arrancar needed to step out into the light and take pride in themselves as a group, and they needed power for that, power they lacked in Anubis' absence. So they should become stronger. "If you won't even try to understand then I can make you," Karzan said releasing Kyoshin and turning toward Virgil, "I will show you what it is that you doubt!" As he spoke he would Sonido at Virgil, then simply place his index finger on the Segunda's chest, and implanting the same thoughts in his mind, then doing the same to Sven and Rose. "It's for this reason I nurture the human boys fighting spirit," he spat out vehemently, "I will admit he interests me for my own reasons, but I want him to get stronger so that you fools will as well. You are Espada, but you do not show pride in that name, only in the numbers you have been given with that name. Rose and Abel are the closest to understanding my ideals...the rest of you are power starved fools who will forever destroy the reputation of the Arrancar."Glaring around at all of them, Karzan began to calm down, and looked at Rose in response to her question. "Bring the spying rat here," he said calmly, "let us see if we have a Shinigami or a Human hiding."(To make it easier, the official posting order is now Chiaki, Sven, Virgil, Rose, Kyoshin, then Karzan until otherwise notified. This makes the most sense, as the Arrancar are the ones doing the most talking right now, and they should be able to address each other before waiting for Chiaki.)

(yawn man i am sick as hell today) Abel would be merely walking about enjoying his free time, at least until he felt a reiatsu pulse out, and sadly it was one that had "that" feeling too it so he might as well head over there, so he would hop up to the roof tops and head straight there, not caring in the slightest if he was seen.
upon arrival he noticed that Karzan, Kyoshin, Virgil, Sven, and Rose were there, and apparently there was someone else close by but he didnt pay any attention to that and upon all of them seeing him he would kneel before Karzan and then stood up.
"odd place to hold a meeting, and I see most of us are here." Abel said as he eyed each of his comrades before merely leaning against a wall. "so what is this all about then"

Chiaki heard things get dead silent, then an eventual eruption of yelling. This time she heard it. Traitiors, Vizards named Jin, Turning their back on Hueco Mundo... Yep, she was in too deep. Everything she could do raced before her mind. The foremost thought was "run" but then she had another idea that if they were here for information that this could be perfect.
But was this mission more important than self preservation? Not really. She takes in a slow breath, trying not to draw attention to herself, unaware that she somehow already had. She wasn't sure who because she hadn't been watch, just hiding, but a leader of sorts none the less spoke out to them saying they were power hungry Arrancar only proud of their titles. And then it was too quiet too hear again. Yep, Chiaki was done here. In a lapse of judgment, she started to flat out run away. Her shoes making a very audible echo in the small alleyway. It was at this point she realized her mistake and swore under her breath. But maybe, just maybe she could still get away.

Sven shrugged, his eyes locking onto to Virgil's, smiling as Rose had confirmed the presence of another whom he heard as if there was no doubt to the limits of his hearing. Not only that, but everything around them had gotten unusually quiet as all the local animals seemed to avoid the abundance of reiatsu built up in this one location, so it was child's play to hear even the most insignificant of sounds.
The sudden emergence of Karzan before him took him back a bit, as Karzan's forefinger was pressed against Sven's forehead, foreign memories rushing into his mind. Now it all made sense, the boy called Clyde and Karzan's intentions. Even knowing it, Sven couldn't help but force a smile at the Lord's efforts. "As long as you possess the power to lead the Espada, you have my blade, but should that power waver even the slightest, you can rest assured the rest of the Hollows will capitalize on your moment of weakness, devouring you on the spot. None the less, you wish to strengthen your Espada, which I can understand. However, you it remains to be seen whether you deserve my quoted respect."
Sven's eyes lit up as he said this before continuing further. "Although I have no issues with the Vizard Jin or your relationship with the man, I still need to see the action in your resolve." Sven glanced towards Virgil, then towards
Kyoshin before returning his gaze back towards Karzan. " If you wish for our allegiance,Zaraki, then you will have to prove your intentions towards your Espada with your actions, as we aren't all easy to manipulate with a few memories that could potentially be false to begin with."
His arms would then cross, finishing what he would have to say, his face glancing towards the area where the bystander was, the thwopping sound of sandals clearly audible in his ears.

"There may have been a time where I truly respected the lord of the deep, tercero. I'm afraid it's not so easy for me anymore, though." He answered the female arrancar, with genuine melancholy in his voice.
Virgil's eyes widened in surprise at Karzan's movements, even at the simple motion of placing his index finger to the segunda's chest. Fearing what he might do to his mind, the espada quickly swatting the arm away with his own before jumping backwards from Karzan and Rose that stood before him. Even so, the memories he intended to show to Virgil had entered his head already and it was obvious that the arrancar had overreacted to the intention of the lord of the deep's unique ability. What Karzan showed him however was nothing new, it was his what he had always told Virgil but this time he was showing it through vision instead of through words.
Virgil took a deep breath, as if to contemplate what he had seen. Breathing outward, he motioned his right hand upward towards Kyoshin, "Did the boy make you stronger commander, or did you toy with him until he was defeated? We both know that any increase in power you got from such a battle could have easily been gained from a spar with your fellow espada." he explained, trying to make his point. "You understand don't you, how is this for our benefit?"
"...You can speak it, you can show visions of it. But when it comes time to show action you have nothing for it. You believe that none among us have earned the right to be the lord of the deep but that is not one mans decisions. Both yours or Anubis's. We are hollow, have you forgotten? You rule because we let you, lord of the deep, not because you think it's best. If you continue to lead the espada as you have, we will retaliate." Virgil growled as he clenched his fists, one being placed upon his blade in case a fight broke out.
He sighed, relaxing his arm on his blade and trying to calm himself down. The way this would go the entire espada army could be facing a civil war at this rate. He saw Svens gaze and returned it, before looking over to Kyoshin as well, it was as if the three were having a conversation through sight alone. "I believe the Cuatro has summed it up quite nicely for me...prove your intentions." He finally spoke, calming down quite a bit. This side of Virgil wasn't as blood thirsty as the other, he would prefer to avoid combat at this point.

”Kyoshin…how could you say such a thing? Rose was shocked to here such a wild claim, somewhat hurt as well. Karzan, their leader, was a traitor? This was not a light claim in the least, it was one that punishment would and should be delivered, if the person in question was not outright murdered for making these claims. It hurt her because she did not want to see them killed for such a thing. But turning on the man who brought them together, it was like…betraying a father. ”…” she remained silent, her head turning towards Virgil, who seemed to give an equally negative interpretation of the Lord of the Deep. She could not believe what she was hearing, where they really so willing to turn on Lord Karzan? On the espada? She had just arrived to help them, but it looked as if they needed more help from themselves than their enemies. What had happened to them since they left Heuco Mundo
She moved forward, preparing to defend Karzan both verbally and physically if she had to by then the lord of the deep had began moving to each one of his underlings and transferring the knowledge he wished to impart to them. Rose made no resistance as he did so, accepting the information as she trusted her leader. The knowledge given to her only proved to her that the others were wrong in their accusations, Karzan was no traitor, and was doing what needed to be done to make the espada survive. ”Karzan is doing what is best for us…” her head moved towards Virgil, Kyoshin and Sven. ” I understand that you are frustrated with him, but he is doing what he must to ensure our survival.” She spoke as if she truly believed it. She would hope the others could come to terms as well and that Lord Karzan would forgive them.
”As you wish, my lord. I shall retrieve the eavesdropper." She bowed to him, and turned where the audible steps were coming from, her vision showing the red reiatsu in the distance. Before she left however, she spoke once more ”Please do not be too angry with them Lord Karzan…they only want what is best for the espada as well.” She quietly asked of him a show of mercy towards his arrancar. With that she lifted herself into the air and then towards the ground running towards the fiery hue of reiatsu.
As she got closer to the person running she would begin to release her reiatsu, pressing it down upon the escaping shinigami to slow her down. The difference in their power would make it easier for her to catch the eavesdropper as it would slow her down considerably. ”...There is no use running, my lord has asked me to retrieve you, and I must follow his orders. However, if you give yourself up willingly I promise I will not harm you.” She offered to the person sincerely, hoping she would not have to use force.

"I say it 'cuz it's true, Rose," Kyoshin managed to say before Karzan caught his neck. He glared back at his Lord, eye filled with hate as Karzan channeled his memories into Kyoshin. For an instant, the Commander truly doubted himself. As Karzan released him and moved onto the Espada, Kyoshin rubbed his neck and tried to make eye contact with Rose before she ran off, his expression mournful. He wanted to be loyal to Karzan, he had defended the Lord and stood by his side ever since his joining the Arrancar. He had felt just what Rose was now feeling, he had looked at Karzan as his own father. But then they came to this world, and everything changed.
Karzan had manipulated Kyoshin using his memories and force the Commander to feel jealousy and hatred towards him. He had forced Kyoshin into a rage, just to toy with him. And what he had said to the Vizard Jin made what Karzan now said sound like nothing more than lies. He had told the Vizard he would owe Jin far more than he owed to Anubis, that he wanted nothing but power. And now he told the Espada that he wanted none for himself? The loyalty he preached for their cause was conditional, he had admitted that he would leave if Anubis was dead.
Kyoshin wanted the others to see this, to made them understand, Rose most of all. He knew she would hurt as he had when Karzan betrayed them, and he wanted to save her this. But he knew he couldn't. Karzan had made Kyoshin look like the enemy, and Rose was regarding him as a heretic for rebelling, just as Kyoshin remembered himself judging Virgil when the Segunda spoke against the Lord of the Deep.
"You know you're lying," he whispered angrily to Karzan. "What can you possibly gain by deceiving her? You would keep us under your thumb a little longer, before you betray us as you have me?" He knew Karzan said he wanted to empower them, but was it all just to please Anubis? "And what if Anubis is dead? You'll discard your 'ideals' and leave us! You're building up a kingdom for the Hollow who dishonored and abandoned us! You're a fool, and you have no right to hold us back!"
