"Perhaps you should watch my actions more closely...Sven...Virgil," Karzan said coldly, "everything I have done since I became an Arrancar has been for the good of our kind. Not for Hollow-kind...for the Arrancar. Before I brought us here, we were nothing, having petty squabbles and mock battles in the deep halls of Las Noches and in the desert of Hueco Mundo. We were hiding like cowards. There was nothing to be gained by staying there all the time. By bringing you all here, I have made us recognized once more. If you wish to return to your hiding places in the desert, follow your predecessors and fall into obscurity."
When Kyoshin began to speak again, Karzan growled and then rubbed his temples with his thumb and forefinger. "I do not lie! he said through his teeth, "Hear me now Kyoshin, and note these words very carefully! I will never betray Arrancar-kind! Even if I leave, it will be for two very good reasons: I will have lost the will to lead you, and there is someone much better suited to the task who has taken it from me! Even if I have to fight you all myself, I will make sure you are as powerful as you can be! I told Jin the same thing, I want to be surrounded with power, my own, that of my allies, and that of my enemies! There is no room for weakness...I'll obliterate the weak, either by making them strong, or by killing them! Its that simple."

Abel watched on and had to restrain his chuckles, this was too rich, all over something as petty as power, mah such a pointless thing, he long since gave up on just gaining power and sought out the more finer things in life. He yawns and simply speaks his mind
"while this is all interesting and such, why are you arguing over this when one, this could lead to a loss in personal, 2 cause desertion, and 3 our downfall" abel paused before continuing. "make gaining power a joy, not just a necessity, give beings a purpose to challenge you, to gain more power, wouldn't you much rather crush a being who gained power just to try and defeat you, only to kill him or her, and absorb their power adding it to your own. think about it." Abel tried to persuade his comrades, giving them something to think about. "an example would simple be whoever the one Rose is bringing, give that one something to fight for, give a reason or maybe set a goal so that when the time is right kill and absorb all the power for yourself and get that much stronger.

Chiaki runs as far as she can until she's feels the arrancar's pressure on her. She nearly falls completely, not expecting it to come so soon. She panics and gasps out in shock. Turning quickly to look at the one who had discovered her, she nearly freezes. She hadn't been trained for any of this. Her body shakes a bit as the arrancar tells her it's useless to run.
There was no reason she should believe the arrancar's words of mercy. But running would be certain death while, apparently, going with the the blond in front of her had a chance of survival. Chiaki was never told what to do in the case of capture, only to stick with Ran Mao and she had already failed to do that.
Chiaki stands still, "You promise not to hurt me, but what about all the others? I know you can't speak for them all. And I really have no choice in this matter. I-I'll go with you..."
There was no denying that she was scared, her body was shaking a bit no matter how much she tried to steel herself, her voice quivered a bit as well. Though she herself didn't know the arrancar was blind, it would be obvious to even her that this girl was afraid and probably very alone.

Sven watched as the tercero went to fetch the reiatsu bearer, mumbling something under his breath that sounded like, "Such an obedient pawn." Sven turned towards the others, as he lent his back against one of the nearby buildings, sighing to himself. It was no use getting frustrated over such a trivial matter. At the very least he supposed he could show some gratitude, honestly it was as though he just didn't care anymore. "I suppose I would still be an Adjuchas still if I wasn't chosen among the Espada. For that, you have my gratitude, Zaraki. It is for that reason and that reason alone I am still here among such a group." Sven glanced briefly towards Abel, a light unsettling laughter erupting from Sven's throat. "Leave it to the Primera to think of such things. You've always been a bit soft Abel, but one must recognize the obvious flaws. We, having been bred from Hollows, remain distrustful as is our nature. So, even though I find most of you intolerable to be around, our goals coincide at least for the time being. That alone is reason enough to me to continue participating under Karzan's rule, so long as I see resolve...

"You have done less than you claim to have done. Any one of us could have opened a gartanta here. We have not reclaimed any lost power, become recognized or significantly damaged our enemies... all you did was give us a new stage to fight on, to which we have all accomplished very little. And now you have damaged your reputation with us, not the other way around." The segunda sighed, disappointed with the way things were turning out here. Lowering his tail, he began to knock little pebbles at his feet into the sky each time the tail wagged itself back and forth.
"Simply put, should things continue the way they have, should you be incapable of changing my doubts, be prepared to defend yourself oh Lord of the deep." He warned much like sven had, lightly clenching his blade once more as he said so. If things did get worse, Virgil would not hesitate to end this expedition in the human world and bring the espada home, this side of him did not want casualties in their army. "That said, the last thing we need now is the espada to break apart."
Virgil simply shook his head towards Abel when he spoke. Did the Primera really believe such a thing? It seemed idiotic to the segunda, and was completely unorthodox for an arrancar to believe that. It was not important though, so he didn't bother thinking about it too much. It was just a stupid comment to be forgotten.

The pieces of Rose’s hollow mask that resembled bandages across her eyes and forehead hid the top half of her face, it made it difficult to tell how she was reacting to the girls obvious fear she was having. It was like her reaction was nothing but a blank stare, because there was no other stare she could possibly give. ”…Thank you.” The espada was perhaps the kindest of all of them and she recognized the fear that this person held. It reminded her of when she was still an adjucha’s, when her life was always at risk. She had no one and was scared all of the time of the next powerful creature that could appear and end her life. It was probably no different for this girl. Getting close to her now, Rose's seer sight made it clear to her that the eavesdropper was a spirit of some kind.
Rose felt a bit guilty, because she knew she could not promise that her fellow espada would not harm the spirit…but her family came before the concerns of someone she was unfamiliar with regardless of the fear and loneliness that the eavesdropper was feeling. Rose made delicate steps towards the red hue that outlined the girl. Speaking softly, she placed her right hand on her shoulder both to calm her and prevent her from running, ”…Cooperating is your best chance. Cooperate and they’ll have no reason to harm you.” As she said this, she would lift the girl over her shoulder with her superior strength and leap back towards the others.
”I have…retrieved the eavesdropper Lord Karzan. She made no attempt to resist.” Rose’s voice called out to the arrancar as their bickering began to die down. She landed rather gently near their leader, placing the girl down next to her. She stood there quietly, keeping a hand on Chiaki to make sure she did not move and waited to see what Karzan would tell her to do.

As Karzan spoke, Kyoshin felt the sincerity in his words, replacing the anger he had felt with confusion. What was he fighting against Karzan for? He slowly realized that his hate had been distracting him from his feeling of pointlessness, something he reasoned all the Espada must feel. Karzan was right in one regard, none of the Arrancar were ready to be Lord of the Deep. They all had power, certainly, but their power had no focus or purpose but to destroy the world around them.
"Arrancar have no purpose," he finally said, tired of the Espada complaining to no avail. "We consumed Souls to ease our pain, and in the process of doing so we gained power. We evolved as Menos, to gain power. We became Arrancar, to further this power. But power to do what? As Hollows, we had purpose. We used our power to devour others and progress to higher stages. Now, we're at the top of that evolution, and we have nowhere to go."
He sighed. "Do we really think we could somehow go higher, with Karzan out of the way? Perhaps... we're just looking for something to fight against."

"Then why didn't you Virgil?" Karzan questioned as he rounded on the Segunda, "If you could have come here at any time, then why didn't you? Because you're a coward perhaps? Or because you were too lazy? Yes, I pushed you 'onto a new stage' as you put it, and despite your uninformed claim that our reputation has worsened, I can tell you very plainly that it has not."
Just as he said this, Rose arrived carrying the girl, and Karzan continued his rant, "We've attracted the attention of the Shinigami for one. Until recently we were not even a threat to them, but now we've had two Captains respond to our attacks...allies of the turncoat Shinigami Ryo have been drawn to us as well, courtesy of Kyoshin and Sven."
Turning to Rose, now, he looked at the Shinigami woman he had slung over her shoulder, and thought to himself before responding directly. "Put her down," he said lightly, "she's harmless to us."

Abel looked about as he gathered reactions of from his suggstion and as expected they believed it was merely because of him being soft, he was far from soft, he just had a much different way of doing things, however it did not matter
"say what you want Sven it doesnt matter, what none of you know, sans Karzan is that their is new breed of creature, that has some unique, strange and terrifying abilites" Abel informed the group and continued "Their goal is simple, complete eradication of every species in existance aside from their own, so that they can reign supreme." Abel finished having said his piece on that and looked at the human. "you are so lucky i can't hurt you" abel said voicing his thoughts and revealing his rank for no reason

Chiaki makes a slight protest when she is unceremoniously tossed over the Arrancar's shoulder. She shuts her eyes as they jump back to the meeting of Arrancar, she opens them when she is being set down next to the only female Espada. She looks up at all of them, crossing her arms across her chest. She was highly uncomfortable, and crossed her arms to keep herself separate from them.
She heard the tail end to some comments and the one who had seemed to be the leader was referring to her, "I wasn't spying!" She nearly shouts. Dammit. She had told herself and her captain that she would not speak. Speaking to the Arrancar could only end badly, she feared. She was used to being small, but just the presence of all these Espada made her feel even more so. She frowns a bit.
She was spoken to by one of then, telling her she should feel lucky, she looks to him as he reveals his number and it seems to confirm her fears. Every one of them here was very powerful and could easily end her life. She looks down at the knees of the one most in front of here.

Sven briefly closed his eyes at Kyoshin's words, the Arrancar was right to a degree. Much like the others, he too had been isolated as a Hollow, wandering the plains of Hueco Mundo purely out of a quest for vengeance against another Hollow who had wronged him. He had been lucky enough to find a herd, or so he thought, as it didn't last long. Upon devouring his enemy, he was content to just lay there, till Death found its way to him. Reopening his eyes, Sven's gaze turned towards Kyoshin, the man who had granted him the next step in this evolutionary chain.
"Then all that needs to be accomplished is to reclaim our purpose." Sven smirked as Abel mentioned a greater lifeform, it didn't seem to bother him in the slightest, in fact it was something to be relished. "Then there is still purpose, these creatures you speak of shall bow towards the Espada or face extinction. So long as Lord Karzan doesn't falter in his goals, our evolution is still premature. Until the Arrancar stand above all other lifeforms, our ascent is far from over."
Sven had to hold his amusement in as Rose came in with the stunned girl. Such an unlucky girl to have come across their meeting. Sven arched his back so that his face was level with the girl's, merely inches away as he surveyed the delicate features of her face with. He let that same unsettling smile flash across his face once more, as his piercing silver eyes leered into the girl's own. He had to admit, she was easy on the eyes, but then he was constantly stuck looking at the mugs of his fellow Espada, something that left much to be desired. Perhaps he desired a taste, or perhaps he just wanted the girl to scream so he could bask in the resonance of her frightened vocals.
I wonder how well those vocals of yours can sing, little one. Care to demonstrate for me? Sven's finger reached out and ran down the captives girl's neck, halting at the beginning of the girl's rib cage. It was then that he would glance casually towards Karzan. "So, Karzan, what is to be done with this girl? Will she merely be a lure for the spiritually aware lurking in the area or to perhaps draw out the Shinigami?"

Virgil's attention was pulled away from Karzan by the quick return of the tercero espada. Efficient and fast, he had to admit, even if her loyalty was completely blind to Karzan. A grin crawled across his face as he held back a snicker, he had just claimed that the blind girl was indeed blind to somebodies actions. His grin drifted away however, it was a stupid thing to be amused by and it annoyed him that he had even found it remotely funny.
His eyes drifted towards the primera espada, who revealed his rank to the girl for seemingly no other reason than to scare her. "That was cold, Primera, revealing your rank like that!" He chuckled somewhat menacingly, "As if such a person wasn't already scared to be in the presence of us Arrancar, you go and show her that we're the cream of the crop, that she was doomed the moment she saw us." His gaze then looked down at the girl, who seemed to lose all hope at seeing Abel's rank. She moved her eyes towards Rose's legs, focusing on them instead of the tall creatures that surrounded her. "...What is your name, woman?"

Rose tilted her head at Karzan’s suggestion of the girl go. She was hesitant to allow her to move around freely around them. it was clear by her reiatsu that she had some form of power, though what it was or what she was alluded the tercero espada. However, Karzan claimed she was absolutely no threat to them, once again confident in his strength and abilities. Convinced that they could handle anything she could manage to do, she released her hold on Chiaki.
Rose would remain silent as the others began discussing what they would do with the girl, keeping her attention on the scared shinigami the entire time. She did not want to speak out of turn, so she kept quiet, not feeling she deserved to choose this girl's fate and that the others were more qualified to do so. Even in the shinigami’s fear, Chiaki would most likely notice the shyness the tercero seemed to have; it was like she was shrinking back from the rest of the espada.
Quietly, she composed herself and attempting to explain her opinion on the matter. ”I think …we should let her go.” She said shyly, some hesitation in her voice. ”I know we just caught her, but she is too weak to be of any use to us. Perhaps if we let her go and follow her, she could lead us to shinigami in the area if there are any...her reiatsu does not seem human to me, I believe her to be one of them. My seer's sight shows me the reiatsu of all those around me, and hers is not like the other human here; it is far mor spiritual in nautre. If she reveal other shinigami to us we will be able to encounter our enemies on our terms and if there are none, then we can still hold on to her for other purposes, if that is what you wish to do...” She explained her plan, lowering her head back towards the girl. She cleared her throat and took a step back. "At least...that's what I think..."

Kyoshin found it ever so slightly amusing that Virgil had used the captive Shinigami's convenient arrival as an excuse to ignore both the Commander and Karzan, who had both been addressing the Segunda. He was calming down a little, and had already conceded that rebellion wasn't the best option at the moment. As the others suggested what to do with the Shinigami, Kyoshin spoke up. "Rose is right, keeping ahold of this little girl would get nothing done. If we tried to incite a conflict, the Shinigami would come prepared, and that's hardly how I want them fighting. If we follow her to them, we can attack with the advantage."
He sounded somewhat hopeful as he spoke, perhaps feeling a little bloodlust. He had been partially expecting to fight Karzan, and now that that wasn't happening, he needed something to kill... As expressed by the other Arrancar, fighting this girl wasn't really an option, and keeping her around didn't hold as many prospects as letting her go. Though she was nice to look at, and the Hollow in him simply wanted to eat her.

"There won't be need to follow her," Karzan said walking toward the girl, "I can get the information we want now."
Karzan placed his index finger on the girl's forehead, and delved into her mind, absorbing anything he thought was of importance."She is indeed a Shinigami," he said after a minute, "and there are three others come to this realm as well."
Taking his finger off her, he walked a few steps back from her and looked at her while continuing to speak, "Two Captains and a third seat aside from her," he said to the assembled Arrancar, "all in Gigai. They're a recon squad. She's the Vice-Captain of one of the other team members...they've also had a limit placed on them...so if you end up fighting them, be weary of that, who knows when they can release that limit."

Abel merely looked at the Girl, watching as Sven made an off comment about her screaming, and then looked over to Virgil. "it was cold yes, but it got me what I wanted, nothing more nothing less. as for this species, you'll all thinkin im joking but im not. This species i watched evolve from a human woman, this species came directly from a human." Abel said shaking not in horror but in pure excitement
"and one other thing, The human who spawned these creatures, my word, such terrifying power in such a beautiful body, and be warned her Reiatsu is very strange, it instilled a sense of want, wanting to be with her." Abel warned them "I do not know if it effects others differently but so far the humans i saw, before they burst into flames from having their Reiatsu forcibly unlocked were entranced by her completely."

It was very humbling to have people around you deciding your fate for you. Would they just get fed up and kill her anyways? The Espada before her seemed to almost be trying to help her, before she took a shaky step back that is. She was too focused on what they had been saying they would do with her to realize that the Lord of the Deep had moved toward her.
His finger was placed on her forehead and she jumps considerably, then takes a couple startled steps backward, but it was too late to keep any information from him, not that she knew that's what he had done. She swallows and touches her forehead, "What did you do?!" She exclaims, looking up at him angrily, but her answer came and she became paralyzed again.
He had touched her and now knew everything about their mission. She absolutely had not been trained for this. Surely, now that they had all the information she could possibly give them, she would be killed. Would her team even know? They might just figure her lost and forget about her. She was fearful again, "W-what will you do with me now...?" she nearly squeaks out.

Sven laughed at Abel's transfixiation towards this group of so called "gods", unable to contain himself. "Aw, Abel, I didn't know you were the poetic type. Sounds like your perfect woman." Sven would jest, the smirk remaining on his face. "Might as well open the Gates of Hell while you're at it and let the Unforgiven back into this pit."
Placing his arms behind his head while Karzan was speaking, Sven let out another sigh as he leaned backwards. "Well, the first encounter showed the Arrancar were still alive and still possessed strength to oppose even that of the Shinigami Captains and are now deemed a threat, the proof is in the fact that they sent out Captains to access the situation." Sven's eyes turned down towards the girl, instantly falling silent as he pondered amongst himself.

Virgil continued to ignore abel's words, rolling his eyes as he spoke. It wasn't that he didn't believe him, but it didn't worry him as much as it did the primera. Perhaps he was right and it would best to find and kill this human creature, but right now it was not a bother to him.
"Two captains? Interesting." Virgil remarked upon Karzan's examination of the girls mind. "Yes, how did he do that indeed?" He said somewhat mockingly to the shinigami's utter surprise that the lord of the deep could read her mind so easily, that no secret was beyond his reach. "Is this really a vice-captain? If it weren't for your power Lord of the Deep I wouldn't believe you, but it must be true. But she's so...cowardly. it's rather pathetic." he took a threatening step towards her lifting his hand up and placing it close to her head.
"If I were in a violent mood, I would rip your head off right now...that's how pathetic your acting. Luckily for you that part of me is not feeling very well." He said in a malicious way, before lowering his hand again. "...I think we should just hold onto her as a hostage, use her to force the two captains to fight us. Hell we could just hold onto her until she drops dead. Either that or just kill her I suppose, we already got all the information we need from her." he shrugged his shoulders, not really caring much anymore what they did to the girl. This was an interesting distraction he supposed, but with the lion out of commission from his fight with the boy he really had no interest in fighting at the moment. For now, he was just toying with her.

Rose saw Karzan perform his potent technique once again, probing into the mind of the red hued eavesdropper. When his finger came into contact with her forehead, Rose’s vision saw the ability in action. Her reiatsu carried with it the information which left her own body traveling through Karzan before emptying itself back into the, then revealed, shinigami. It was a technique only the Lord of the Deep was trained to do, as the power was far too dangerous to be used responsibly among the espada. It was still a marvelous ability that surprised Rose in its capabilities; no mental barrier could protect you.
Rose was right, the eavesdropper was a shinigami. Her sight had tried to tell her but it was difficult to understand the meaning of reiatsu due to its large number of uses and abilities. The shinigami lowered herself in fright, barely able to ask the question Rose was thinking herself…what would they do with her now? She felt bad, this shinigami seemed so defenseless, esepcially as Virgil offhandendly threatened her life. If it were up to her she would have let her go once getting the information they needed but her family was a violent bunch and if even just a few of them wanted her dead they would make sure that it happened. With a bit of guilt Rose stepped back from the shinigami, leaving her fate to be decided by her fellow espada. She was not good enough to contribute anything anyway.
