Using the term sensei really cleared things up for the human. He had always seen Ryo as one, and he very much was. Though the boy never sought to surpass him he understood the logic."I think I understand. If you surpass him then that means his disciple is even better fit to handle the situation than he is, should something happen to him." He nodded his head as he got a better understanding of the situation. "That certainly seems like the best way to tell if you're leaving things in good hands. I can promise you that with my help and hard work, you will be able to surpass your sensei." He gave his word with a confident grin, pumping his right arm down in his enthusiasm.
"Wha~?" The boy again was taken by surprise as Miwa grabbed him and pulled him forward, not even giving him a chance to say anything against it. He followed along as she tugged by the wrist towards their destination, eventually pulling him in front of a martial arts store. His eyes widened as he took a good look at the building, the objects he saw inside looked perfect! "Wow..." He said simply as he walked towards its entrance. He glanced over at Miwa as she added her little comment about the previous clothing he had been looking at. Laughing, he himself added, "I think the variety can only help." He paused as he took a step forward, "Come on, let's take a look." he said with excitement in his voice.

Miwa laughed at Clyde's comment of her father as they walked inside, she somehow had found the statement rather funny. "It's a little more complicated than than. Sure, that's one of the reasons, but there's more to it. Personally, I think it would be funny if he lost to his daughter in battle. It would be retribution for abandoning his family. He has such a big ego that losing to a human and a girl at that would completely devastate him. He'd eventually get over it as I'm of his kin, but it'd still be fairly humorous to say the least.I only spent a short time with him, but he's easy to figure out." Miwa walked towards the back of the store, motioning Clyde to follow her. "All the clothing is in the back, they keep the gear near the front of the store, so few know there's actual clothing in the back." She looked rather joyously towards the shelves and racks, separated by gender, colors, and sizes. "I wouldn't worry about these tearing,at least not within the first few weeks. These are made to be a bit more durable since they're designed for sports and high activity." Miwa grabbed a black t-shirt off of the rack, stretching it as far as it could go as to prove her point.

"Everyone's got a bit of pride in them, it's understandable that he'd get upset if he lost." He gave a bright grin as she laughed about her fathers reaction to possibly losing to his own daughter. "I'm sure it would be quite a sight." He added with a light laugh of his own. She really seemed to love her father, it was different, most of the others never spoke about their families except occasionally Jake but his current situation never really led to pleasant conversations on the topic. Clyde never had any memories of his parents, he had to wonder if they were nearly as interesting as hers...or if he perhaps he was the only one among them with powers of his own. "It must be fun..." He thought aloud as he followed her towards the back of the building.
"That's much better than what I'm using now." He commented, grabbing a hold of another shirt, it was thicker than what he normally would wear but the long sleeved shirt he picked up would last much longer in battle than his normal one and that was pretty important. "And the best part is there are no clowns on this one." He let out a fake sigh of relief, playing up the joke a bit more. "Hmm..." He placed the shirt down and began looking through the different clothing, many customers began giving him odd looks as he tested their durability with his own strength to see how they'd hold up. "Pretty good, could be better, not too bad..." he commented on them one after another. He was acting a bit silly but he didn't care.

Miwa looked over at Clyde, her eyes surveying him, she was still under the impression that there was still something he was hiding. "So about your parents. You haven't even mentioned them, is there some rift developed between you and them?" Miwa hoped she didn't come off as too nosy, trying to pry into his private matters, but she was curious. True, she wasn't the best at being sympathetic towards others feelings, which was a main cause of her lack of a social life, in addition to the fact that she was different then the rest of the crowd. "If you don't wish to discuss it that's fine." She smiled a bit as he tested clothing after clothing, then resumed browsing through some track suits. Upon the clown comment, she pulled up a vibrant pink trackset from a nearby rack, smiling. "If you really wish to stand out, you could always wear these around. If you think you're brave enough, that is." The last bit Miwa implied rather tauntingly, just seeing how he would react to the pink sweats and sweatshirt she had in her hands.

"No, it's okay." He spoke up quickly, to make sure he did not seem offended by her question, lowering the shirt he was currently stretching. "There is not much to discuss about it. I mentioned earlier that my memories had been lost to me and well... that includes any relationships I may have had before the amnesia. If I have parents, I don't know who they are, or if they're even around. They may be in this town, or hundreds of miles away or possibly worse." He explained his situation, his voice carried itself well. It was clear that despite the situation he explained, he had come to accept it and deal with it as best as he could. "I doubt they are here, I have yet to meet someone who has recognized me, and I have seen quite a lot of karakura. It isn't something I worry about, I'm in the present not the past. Finding out about them would be nice, but there are more important things for me to worry about." He gave a nod of reassurance to reinforce that he was fine to the girl.
Clyde looked at her holding back some laughter at the clothing. "Ha! If I have the bravery to face the hollow some clothing won't best me." He boasted playfully as he grabbed hold of the pinkish track set, he knew she was just trying to get a reaction out of, so he was gonna play it up a bit just to try his hand at being silly himself. Without an hesitation he would slip on the pinkish clothing over his normal clothing and pose with it, again gaining looks from many who passed by in the store. "Well, these would certainly scare off any hollow..." He joked sarcastically as he held his arms up to look at the vibrant pink.

Miwa tried her best to put on a sympathetic look. "That must be rough, not knowing who your parents are or your parents' location. You could pass them on the street and not even know who they were." Miwa watched as Clyde threw the shirt on, raising her eyebrow, trying to hold in her laughter.
She tried only to fail, bursting out in laughter. "Now all we need is some Neko ears and tail, maybe a little makeup as well!" The image of Clyde in a tracksuit of that color was amusing enough, but the added mental image of him as a cat was too much for her, her sides hurting from laughing too hard. After a few minutes, Miwa wiped a tear from her eyes, looking at Clyde with that usual taunting personality of hers. "Well, if you're really lucky, one of the guys around here might just buy you dinner.Just go out there and show a little leg. I'm sure you'll pick up a looker in no time." She added the last part with another smirk, still trying to get a reaction out of Clyde, her first attempt failing miserably, although she was curious if he'd actually go the extra length.

The boy quit laughing for a moment, and with a very serious expression on his face... lifted both his hands up to be like cat ears and squeaked out a "Meow", folding his hands up and down as if they were twitching cat ears. After that little random moment, he spun himself around and grabbed hold of the sweater and in that very motion removed the sweater and threw it over his shoulder. With a smirk he quickly retorted at her proposal, saying "I wouldn't want you to get jealous, we did just meet after all." He folded the clothing still laughing over the little event, more so at Miwa's attempts to get a reaction out of the young man. Most guys probably would have probably reacted how she wanted but Clyde was not fully aware of the humor or embarrassment a normal human would have and did not really think much of it beyond just friendly joking. "Besides, pink doesn't really suit me." He scratched the back of his head, still laughing a bit lightly.

Miwa chuckled at Clyde's cat imitation, but her eyes narrowed at the jealousy comment. What's that supposed to mean?!" She threw back her black cloak, letting it hang off her limber frame, revealing her black shorts and a loose fitting tanktop underneath. As she did this her arms were placed on her hips as she swung her hips to the side, a cynical look on her face, daring Clyde to prove it. "I seriously doubt you could pull off most of these outfits as well as I can. Hell, most men will kill for someone like me. You should consider yourself lucky. I want some proof as to what I'll be jealous about." Miwa's eyes flashed maliciously, challenging Clyde to backup his claim, a twisted grin on her face.

Drystan smiled as he stood amongst the crowd of shoppers in the store, completely invisible. He had been following a pair of teens who on the surface appeared to be a couple, but Drystan who had been following the guy all day knew differently.
Finding a secluded spot of the store, Drystan used his power, to release the invisibility on him, causing a flash of light purple light to appear near his left palm. When he was once again fully visible to the world, he walked over to the pair throwing off the hood of his gray cloak, and nonchalantly threw his arms over their shoulders, just as the guy threw a pink sweater over his head.
"Havin' a lover's quarrel?" he asked with the hint of an Irish accent to his voice and a smile on his face as he looked from the guy to the girl, "Should hang out with me instead, I know how to treat a lady."

Clyde watched her shake herself around in front of him, now she was the one getting stares from the other customers. The boy could not help but burst into laughter from the reaction he got out of the other human with his comment. He managed to completely reverse the situation, instead getting a reaction out of her instead of the other way around. "Haha, didn't think I was touching such a personal matter, Sorry!" He said trying to hold back the majority of his laughter, if it was not clear his statement was a joke before, it would be now. "I'll concede defeat here, I think I'd be pretty hopeless against you." He laughed off the silly challenge, agreeing with her statement. Bringing his arms up, he turned around to re-examine some of the other clothing.
Right as he turned around however he was suddenly greeted by another person almost randomly. Immediately the man interjected himself into their conversation catching Clyde completely off guard. "Wha~!?" He questioned quickly at the first thing the man said. "Hey, I thought I was doing okay." he defended his actions to this random stranger, not really getting who he was or why he was suddenly walking up to them. This was certainly one of the odder breaks Clyde had in recent memory.

Miwa crossed her arms and looked away defiantly, muttering under her breath, although she made sure she could clearly be heard. "Damn right you would." She glanced back at Clyde, who had apparently found her amusing. Her blood had began to boil, he was making fun of her. "You don't think I can?!"
Her statement was cut short when an arm came around her, catching her offguard, as this unknown man just threw his arm around her, as though it was nothing. Upon hearing this new guy speak, her rage was building inside her. Miwa was gritting her teeth, her temple pulsing in her head, as she spoke through the gritting of her teeth. "You surely have some nerve, buddy, coming on to a lady so boldly..." She was fuming, this guy was coming onto her and he sounded like a real pervert from her perspective. Her right fist begin to clench up, and with a quick rotation of her body to her left, she connected with a vicious right hook to the jaw of the unknown man, putting an impressive display of power behind her blow, enough to knock most people out or at least knock them off their feet. "CHA!!!!"

Drystan swore loudly as the girl landed a solid punch on his jaw causing him to step back from the shock, and gripped it with his hands, cursing again as he did so.
"Don't get your knickers in a knot," he managed to say without swearing after a minute, "I'm only slaggin' ya, having a bit o' fun. A right narky vixen we have here don't we?"
Massaging his jaw line tenderly, Drystan gave the girl a peeved look, then turned to the guy, and studied his face for a moment before speaking again. "Only bloke in the whole town who fits the description, so I'd imagine you're Clyde?" he said in a matter-of-fact tone, "I've got a message for you from a friend of mine back in the States. Goes by Jake, said you lot needed help with an infestation, and that you're a tad off your nut. Thought I might be able to shed some light on your situation."

The young mans eyes went wide as he was a bit surprised by Miwa's sudden attack against the stranger. Though at the same time he could not help but flash a smile, thinking perhaps that it was a deserved punishment. "That was a pretty good hit." He complimented her. This other human went backward from the punch, spouting what appeared to be absolute nonsense to Clyde. He...kind of understood what he was saying, but his way of saying it was far more unorthodox than he was use to. "Slaggin' ya? N-narky? Whaaaaaaat is he talking about?" The boy could not help but scratch his head at the stranger; it was not like he had not seen different people but there was certainly something different about him that just confused the heck out of Clyde. "Uh...are you okay?" He asked about the stranger, though he was not asking about the injury.
Something through his confusing lingo did catch the young man's interest though, he mentioned a good friend of his. He figured he would not be hearing from him anytime soon and yet here this guy was shouting his name. "This is some sort of pay back for all those spars I beat you in, isn't it Jake?" He sighed to himself lowering his head somewhat. "Listen, I don't think Jake would send you to take care of any infestation, my living conditions are actually pretty clean." He said confusingly at the mans comment, "...And I've never been on any sort of nut to be falling off of it, sir." He paused for a moment giving a glare towards the human, "Who the heck are you anyway?" This guy was even starting to get on Clyde's nerves, the way he spoke was like it was specifically made to confuse the hell out of him.

Miwa was still eying the newcomer with a look that could only be described as demonic. Her stance was opposing, ready for another round, her eyes gleaming evilly, her clenched fists letting out slight sparks of electricity as they crackled fiercely. Upon Clyde's initial confusion, she let out a sarcastic remark. "One more hook should keep him from slurring his speech. Maybe he should see what this vixen's really got..." Upon Clyde's later reaction, Miwa straightened up, pulling her cloak back over her shoulders, placing her hands onto her hips, as she shook her head sighing. "I don't think he means that kind of infestation, Clyde, and I'm sure off your nut is an expression for you're not all there mentally." Miwa smiled a bit as she started to tease Clyde. "It's pretty sad when this Jake friend of yours advertises you in that manner. Yet it's unusually fitting for your personality."

"Ack fine I'll cut the slang, relax!" Drystan said as he raised his hands in the air to admit defeat, "And watch what you say about Jake...she's right though, if you think about it, you might catch my meaning as to the infestation...but anyway, when I said 'off your nut' I was referrin' to yer status as an amnesiac."
Leaning down, Drystan placed his right hand on the ground, and a flash of lavender purple light flared into existence, only to disappear. Standing straight again, Drystan held out his hand, revealing it to be holding a small stone ring, that matched the texture and color of the tiles of the store's floor. If anyone cared to take a chisel to it, they'd find that there's now a small hollow spot in one particular tile.
"He told me quite a bit about you Clyde," he said at a volume only the three of them could hear, as he tossed the ring at Clyde, "and I'd be lying if I said what I know doesn't make me think I can help you get your memories back. I'm an Alchemist, and from what I gather from Jake's information on you, so are you."

"Not all there mentally...fitting for my personality?" He let what Miwa said sink in for a moment before perking his head up and looking over at her. "Hey wait a minute, what's that supposed to mean!?" He snapped back as she teased him for a moment before pausing again and dipping his head in defeat, "I guess I am a bit odd cause of my little memory problems..." He sighed in a defeated manner, shaking his head with a wry smile on his face; he was playing along with the teasing just a little bit, feeling it was in good fun. "Heh, I guess Jake has me pretty pegged." He let out a light laugh as he thought about his situation
"So then...Jake sent you all the way here to help me with my problems...but who are you? And why did you think it would be a good idea introducing yourself to us the way you did...AND if you didn't need to talk that way why did you?" Clyde asked again with another light laugh, the last part with a bit of exasperation in his voice. He scratched the back of his head while he thought on a word he heard the man use, "Alchemy?" Whoever this guy was, he clearly knew something...and Clyde doubted that Jake would send him all the way here just to check up on him. "Let's try to keep the conversation on a "normal" level while we're here, huh?" he gave a light warning to the stranger, not wanting to get any more attention than they already were knowing now was not the time and place to be asking about the things he spoke of not in public anyway. "And how is Jake then? I assume he managed to accomplish his goal?" He asked again, wondering if he ever managed to rescue his sister.

Miwa smiled, patting Clyde on the back, giggling to herself as she did so. "It's alright, I'm sure you've learned to cope with your issues." With another lighthearted laugh, she continued. "I suppose I could help as well, although I can't guarantee anything." Miwa's eyes turned coldly towards the alchemist, a sinister grin on her face. " That and someone needs to keep this horndog under control. If he keeps introducing himself the same way he did today, he will find himself in a bodybag very shortly. Then again, it might be fun to watch him get pounded on by a horde of rampaging schoolgirls." Still smiling, her gaze turned back to Clyde as he tried to avoid unnecessary discussion. "Clyde's right, this is not the place to discuss such matters."

Giving the girl an owlish look, Drystan first addressed Clyde's question about Jake saying, "His sister's home safe and sound now. He enlisted me help in that little escapade as well. He's now using all his connections to dismantle the mob, finding the spiritually aware involved, and sending them packing. If luck's on his side, he'll get it done before he draws any attention from some wild animals."
Looking directly at Miwa now, Drystan smiled, a wide forced grin. "I'll be keeping tabs on this one," he said sarcastically, "I like feisty girls." Taking a scrap of paper out his pants pocket, Drystan handed it to Clyde., and started to walk off.
"That's my contact information," he said as he wandered off, "if you aren't sure what to do with it, ask your lady friend. Gimme a shout when you want to chat."

Miwa watched the man leave, sighing to herself. It was men like those which infuriated her. She had little time to think about it, as a new thought crossed her mind. It was her turn to look after the dojo, her grandfather would be leaving at 5 for his usual bingo night. Miwa looked frantically around, finally finding a small clock hanging near the front of the store. 4:30PM.... She turned towards Clyde, smiling, her sudden realization making for an awkward moment. "I'm sorry, but we'll have to cut this short. I have a job at the family dojo I must tend to. If you're ever interested, it's about a mile down that way." Miwa quickly points down the streets in front of the shop's windows. "It's an old traditional building with a large sign over the entrance, you can't miss it. Sayonara!!! " With a last wave of her hand towards Clyde, Miwa flies out of the store with remarkable agility, the last thing to be seen is her shopping bag flapping violently behind her as she ran past the store windows.

Clyde took the contact information and stared at it for a moment before accepting it and placing it in his pocket. The human did not say anything as the alchemist ran off as he was not sure what to think of this older man. He appeared to know something about him, he must have for Jake to send him all this way. He would have to get in contact with him sooner or later and try and figure out just what exactly he knew, but for now he needed to focus on his battles to come, the past could wait.
The boy's attention returned to Miwa as she spoke aloud about needed to leave rather suddenly as well. Just as well, the boy thought, he felt like he had taken a long enough break anyway. "Alright, I'll be sure to visit! He said with enthusiasm as he gave light wave when she ran down the street towards her dojo. Clyde waited a moment, reflecting on the last half an hour or so, before leaving the building, as well as leaving the clothing he had thrown around all over the floor completely forgetting about it.
