Nonko's office was quiet like always. Small projects he did here and there laid on the working tables. His Zanpakutou leaning on his desk. Another Zanpackutou sitting on the desk with all the paper work. Nonko himself sit at the large computer station that looked somewhat like an organ.
His figures seemed to fly across the keys as he worked. Different pieces of data from the battle in the human world. It was still going on, but this information was all he needed for now. He was also waiting for the 4th Seat to come. He had read the report he asked for. He would fund the project, but he wanted to see something about Azerik.

Azerik was tired. Very tired. He had been getting very little sleep lately, going over the project proposal report he had recently handed to Captain Ryuuza. It had taken him quite a while to get the finished product. He had finished writing it almost as soon as he had started it, but he wasn't satisfied with the writing itself, it was much too pretentious and long winded. It had taken him several tries to both shorten the report, and make sense of the garble of words he had typed up. Despite his weariness, Azerik was excited and anxious at the moment, being on his way to Captain Ryuuza's office in order to find out whether or not his project proposal had been accepted.
"Captain?" he called as he knocked on the office door, "I've come as you requested, Sir."

Nonko hands stop only for a moment as he turned his head to look at the door. He then turned back to his work. The door to the office opened and Nonko voice echoed out from the far back of the office/lab.
"Enter. I've been waiting."

"I apologize for the delay," Azerik said as the door closed behind him, "I've been rather fatigued lately, and I didn't notice the time."
He stopped a good distance from where the Captain was working, but was close enough to easily carry out a conversation without having to raise his voice. He looked around at the various projects left untended for the moment, as well as the stacks of paperwork. He though he spotted his project proposal, but didn't give it a second glance as he turned to face Nonko, waiting for a response. It seemed rude to ask outright for the Captain's verdict on his proposal.

"You'll be given Lab 36 for your project. I've approved it for prototype testing."
Nonko stopped typing once again only this time he turned his chair to look at Azerik. He had something to explain to Azerik before the project could go underway.
"I'm sure you know by now. My top specialty is toxins and poisons. With that in mind I want the ability of your creation to be based on such. Toxins."

"So you want me to make a poison type," Azerik said this as a statement as opposed to a question, "is there a preferable class of toxin you want? For testing purposes I'd suggest starting with low level paralysis toxins, but if you like I can start with mildly lethal toxins."
Azerik noted the lab number in the back of his mind. If he wasn't mistaken, Lab 36 was in one of the deeper levels that focused on weapons development. He would have prefered to work in the Technology department, since he would have to rely heavily on the use of Mod-Soul tech, but he knew it was over all, a weapons development project, hence the allocation of Lab 36.
"Is there a specific name you'd like for the prototype," he added as an after thought, "also is there anyone in 12th Division that you'd recommend for this project. I'd like to keep my contact with normal personnel limited, and I'd prefer to have a partner to work with on this project. I find it helps when you have another opinion to keep the project afloat."

"The poison I want you to use is on the table to your right. It is a simpler poison to the one contained within my bankai, but isn't as strong and can be changed to easily."
Nonko then thought for a moment after Azerik asked if he had a name he wanted to give it. He thought more about that then he did about the 2nd question.
"Naishinnou will it's name and you can use whom ever needed."

"Naishinnou?" Azerik said as he thought about the name, "Imperial Princess doesn't seem to fit the weapon being created, but I suppose that doesn't really matter does it..."
Azerik thought with exasperation, how the Captain had said he could make use of anyone he needed. That was all well and good, but the problem was, Azerik hadn't been around long enough to get well enough acquainted with any other 12th Division members. He'd had very sporadic meetings with both the Lieutenant and the 3rd Seat officer, but their respective fields of research were a mystery to him, and as far as he knew, there were few if any other members of importance within 12th Division.
"I suppose I'll just work on this project solo," he sighed, "I doubt I can trust any no rankers not to screw up...although I could use some of them to keep notes..."

"Everyone in this Institute is a scientist. They are all capable of whatever you ask of them."
Nonko words of praise toward his subordinates were a rare things, but it was about that time this year for him to say something nice about them. For the work they did. He owed them that much at least. Nonko stopped typing and looked at the screen closer for a moment.
"Interesting."
He then pushed himself away from the edge of the large computer and stood up from his chair. He looked over to Azerik before he started walking to the desk where his zanpackutou was.
"The Mod-Soul tech and equipment haven't been updated in some time. They may have a few bugs. I'll have Duo fix that. He seems to like that kind of work."

"I suppose that would be wise," Azerik said with venom at the mention of the 3rds Seat's name, "although outdated tech isn't really an issue with this project, since we'll be practically redoing it from scratch...then again, it could be a problem in the future, so it couldn't hurt to give it an update.
Azerik was silent for a moment. Two thoughts had just occurred to him, both of which seemed relevantly important to him in particular.
"Was there a specific sword style your wanted for Naishinnou?" he said already using the name for the currently non-existent sword, "If not, I'll take some liberties with the design...I had something between a katana and a daito...also, would you prefer I start immediately on the project, or do you mind if I take a day to gather some materials?"

"now that i think about it. Use Kai."
Nonko seemingly ignored what Azerik was saying. Nonko had almost forgotten about the 6th seat who followed orders well.
"And you may take a day if you wish, but start soon. Your Project Update Deadline will be given to you another time. Until then you're done here." ((Another half assed post.))

"The new guy?" he said with interest. Azerik had heard about the new 6th Seat, Mataro Kai, or in the Western style of address, Kai Mataro. He was much like everyone else in this hell damned Division, but he'd be more useful than the unseated members, and rumor was he practically idolized his superiors, which Azerik happened to be among.
"Alright then Captain," he said giving a relatively informal salute and heading to the door, "I'll send Mataro a message...actually I think I put him on my training schedule, so I have to talk to him anyway..."
