Karzan came out of the Garganta, and looked around carefully. When he saw the Lord Anubis was indeed not here, he heaved a great sigh, and closed the Garganta.
"Hear me dwellers of the deep!" Karzan shouted so that his voice rang throughout the halls of Las Noches, "Until Anubis returns, I am your Lord and Master. My name is Karzan Zaraki, betray me at your own risk!"
Sitting down on the throne now, Karzan looked about him wearily. He blinked in surprise as one of Lord Anubis's attendant waked up to him and whispered something in his ear.
"A new Segunda?" Karzan said to himself as the Arrancar left his side, "A lot has happened since I left..."
