"Interesting, interesting....but what on earth did it do before it got into me is what i need to know."
Vacio glanced at the seemingly empty vial held before his spectacled eye in earnest, as if seeing the tiny microbes within would somehow let him know what they had been doing in his bloodstream. All dead, but by chance more so than design as far as he could tell.
"That Karzan boy should know about these, maybe he sent them out...a bit beyond his expertise but then you can never know with our current allies what he might be capable of."

"Boy? Forgive me, that's just funny coming from someone who looks but half Karzan's age." Kyoshin said, striding into the throne room with a sinister grin on his face. He knew there were other Arrancar in Las Noches, but hadn't met this one before. He looked at the Arrancar quickly before continuing, "I am Agotar Kyoshin, Karzan's Second in Command. You would be..."

"That is Vacio Relámpago," Karzan said stepping out from behind his throne, "and age matters little in any case...he's been in this fortress much longer than I have."
Walking down from the throne, Karzan stood in front of Vacio, and looked at the vial he was holding, "And what are these things I should know about?" he said looking at the scientist, "I'm certainly not responsible for them."

"Indeed it's ameaningless thing when you identify yourself with a title rather then a name." Vacio slid a mischeivous stare at Kyoshin before moving on and tossing the seemingly empty vial to Karzan.
"It is a small organism that I found in my blood. It seems to be dead and I believe it is because of my null that it is so. I could tell you more about it if I could get a live sample but all the ones in my blood are dead. Perhaps a forced blood sample test on all of us would be arranged if you'd like to know what they do and why we are all most likely full of them."
Vacio seemed a bit to matter-of-fact about the idea and so the following intense malice in his voice as he looked at kyoshin and spoke his final piece was all the more disturbing.
"We could start with a couple pints of this ones now couldn't we?"

"Huh..." Kyoshin was obviously perplexed by Vacio's first comment, and fell silent as he listened to the rest of Vacio's speech. He didn't really know what Vacio had meant, as Kyoshin thought he had refereed to himself by his name... Hadn't he? He evidently failed to grasp Vacio's meaning.
His eyes widened a bit when Vacio demanded some of his blood, not sure why the Science Division was already showing him some animosity. Kyoshin just wasn't most people's type, he guessed, as he shrugged off his surprised expression and responded in a casual, apathetic voice, "If it's necessary, sure."

"I doubt you'll need that much blood," Karzan said rolling his eyes as he caught the vial and peered inside, "and unless the organisms originated from your lab, its likely that they originated in the world of the living...take my blood first, I've been to the World of the Living most recently, its possible that they spread from me."

Vacio's dispair at seeing kyoshin not rise to his bait was evident as he slumped down from his normal upright and proper posture into one of a teenager who'd just been told he had to go to summer school.
"No no he just won't do, he's just no fun when he doesn't understand how to respond to normal malice between allies."
His head sluggishly rolled to glance at karzan before he gave a slight shake of the head and continuation of his research notes.
"It's not that I need it, I simply like to play with all of you at my whim. A single drop is enough for hundreds of the little creatures to swim in, my blood alone held 2365.4 per a single drop, one of them was broken in have by the needle i extracted it with hence the decimals. The problem with that idea of the world of the living is also one i thought you'd find obvious. You have not seen me in how long a time Karzan? Yet I am full of the dead creatures meaning it has to have a different source and has been around for some time."
While he'd been speaking he had stumbled up to Karzan, hands already holding a small needle out so it was obvious what he was doing and would not surprise karzan. He intook breathe after his short monologue as he pricked Karzan lightly on the back hand and immediately the needle disappeared with it's sample into some unknown sot on Vacio.
"As is I need only one sample to see if they might have died a natural death after a time, my own were killed by my null so I cannot tell how old they might be able to get before becoming useless. I may even be able to figure a way to discover what the purpose of them was if I apply myself to it." He glanced at Kyoshin but immediately decided a sample from him was pointless at the time. It would simply sit and age until he had tested Karzan.
"Stay available, we can't have all of you running off to join new friends over something as sentimental as tea and cookies, let alone let those who have stay that way without punishment."

He knew he hadn't done something right when Vacio reacted like he did to Kyoshin's response. Was he supposed to repeat his name? Or shoot back at Vacio? He remained quiet as Vacio collected a sample of Karzan's blood, and told Kyoshin to stay available, and made some allusion to tea and... cookies? He wasn't sure what those were. Maybe he'd try some in the World of the Living.
"I'll stick around..." Kyoshin wasn't talking like himself, he seemed a bit caught off guard by Vacio's behavior. This Arrancar was harder to read than the others, even Virgil's personality disorder seemed predictable to this. He casually leaned against a wall, his expression slightly puzzled. He cast a quick glance at Karzan as is asking him what was up with this guy.

"Can you finish your tests before we leave for the world of the living?" Karzan asked the scientist as he went about his business, "Now that I know about them, I want to know what they're for."

"Tests on what they are meant to do? Perhaps but I can't say for certain.Identifying them in the vial is childs play under a microscope but knowing what they do hinges on many factors such as whether you had them at all or if they are still alive and performing there tasks. So far i know they had the ability to collect some form of data and transmit it as electrical signals, also that they are partially grown it seems from us, though some held trace amounts of vaizard, human, and quincy dna. The one string of dna that I found in all of them however was a shinigami's."
Vacio seemed more concerned about the subject then he was letting on with his usual attitude of a million random attitudes. At times playful, at times a dark force to be reckoned with, and yet he in all his acts and facades was only prone to keep at a subject longer then a few seconds when it in some way frightened him.
"All of them, though usually a dominant build-up of other types has a small amount of the DNA of a shinigami, some just a trace some nearly half. No other types are found in every single cellular structure like that so I can guess it is something dark they have concocted, something that might answer why they do not show themselves so often anymore."

"If they're inside us..." Kyoshin began, standing tall and walking towards Karzan and Vacio again, "If the Shinigami have infested us with these, will you be able to purge us of them?" There was a bit of fear evident in Kyoshin's eyes as he asked Vacio, the Second in Command obviously uncomfortable with any creation of the Shinigami being under his skin.

"If you don't mind some pain, killing them is easy enough," Karzan said with a smile, "Vacio has quite an interesting ability...I'll leave him to explain it if he wants."

"Pain has never been a side-effect of my power...but it would not work. to purge them all I would need to engulf every part of you. On a hand, or arm this would be a temporary nuisance, they would eventually come back to you but your mind, your brain, would remain dormant."
He did not seem the least bit regretful of the tragic circumstance they were in. Let alone interested in them beyond anything further then reporting. Even now he was speaking while removing some form of grit from under his fingernail.
"Your all more interesting alive to be frank."

Vacio's power still hadn't been actually explained to Kyoshin, so he felt like he was left in the dark as the conversation continued. He hated the concept that the Shinigami had microbes inside him, and not knowing what they did was even worse. He almost wished he hadn't walked in on Vacio in the first place, and found out about these... "Is there no way to get rid of these? How... dangerous are these microbes?"
