This was the second time Nanako had entered the human world. Unlike last time her objectives were rather simple. No one to hunt, no one to kill, her choice to fight or run. She reviewed her list of objectives in her mind.
Objective list: Enter and remain in human world until recalled. Protect High Value Item.
She took a small box from her coat's pocket and looked at it for a moment. This was some Nonko gave her to protect. Why he wanted her to do so in the human world was unknown. Sliding it back into her pocket she stood watching the sun go down as night was coming. Slowly humans who had whos to go to left the park. While those that didn't stayed among the souls that slowly began to appear.

((This will be previous taking place previous to Clyde's battle with Genno))
"Nanako! ...It's good to see you again." A familiar voice would ring out nearby to the shinigami as Clyde approached her with his arms playfully behind his head. He had been doing one of his normal patrols around the area to make sure no hollows attacked during the later hours, and was surprised to see the artificial shinigami moving around in the Human realm again. Giving a light bow to Nanako, he would ask, "...What brings you back to our realm? Not any trouble we need to worry about I hope." he asked with a light laugh, trying not to sound as awkward as he usually did but pretty much failing miserably. What he really hoped is that he was not intruding on anything. He considered Nanako an ally for her help with Ryo and the others during teisuke's last attack, and felt it rude not to at least say hello. He tried to imitate the small talk he saw others do, but applied it to topics that relate to the shinigami. ...It was harder for him that it sounded. "...Uhh, How's your captain doing?" He asked after a moments pause.

When Nanako heard Clyde's voice she turned to see the human boy. She remembered seeing him a number of times last time she was in this realm. He was Ryo's student if she remembered correctly. "No trouble. I'm here on a Research Mission more or less." She answered his first question. His second question about Nonko was a little harder to answer, but she did. "Nonko-sama....appears to be going farther into insanity." As she spoke the box went back into her coat pocket. The human boy didn't need to know about what it was.

The boy stayed silent a for a minute, he didn't think that kind of answer was the typical one...er, well typical of most people, that could be a rather common thing to say about Nonko. "He does seem like an intense man...Are you worried about him?" As Clyde asked this question he realized he might be poking his head into something that was not his business so he tried to back off the subject matter, "Err, not...that you should...be?" He averted his eyes, his mind was telling him to feel embarrassed, "I'm sure he's trying his best..."
The human again tried to change gears to not bother the shinigami, as he was kind of interested in why she was here. "So...Research mission, huh?" The boy repeated to himself rather absentmindedly to bring the subject back up, "Anything I can help with? There aren't any hollows to deal with today... and I'm sure Sensei would probably encourage me to help one of his allies." He explained, maybe to try and justify to himself helping Nanako with her mission. Maybe he was curious or maybe he thought he could find out more about the shinigami this way. As they talked he noticed her slipping something away into her coat, a box or something similar. He didn't comment on it, but he did find something odd about...Like it seemed out of place or maybe it was something else.

Seeing that the boy was trying to get of the subject of Nonko. Nanako thought it best that she also avoid talking about him. She neede to focus on her mission after all. Protecting this box. However she could choose how she wishes to do this. Nanako thought for a minute. "Well... at current my mission is to learn who to live." An odd way to put it. "The research of on day to day human life. I am to learn by living as a human basically." Really Nanako just wanted to use this as way to put her learning program to use. She wanted to learn about humans.

Clyde looked at Nanako as she explained her "research mission." "Do shinigami really need to research that kind of stuff, most of them acted like the humans I interact with everyday. ...Then again, Nonko probably sent her on this mission and he is...different from the others." The boy thought to himself for a brief moment, before finally saying something to the shinigami. With a grin he said, "Learn how to live like a human? That's all?" With a nod of his head, he confidently continued, "Yeah, I'm sure I could help with that." Though he wasn't sure at all, he was probably the worst human to ask for a task like this, ironically. Yet he still wanted to help. "If you want the help, anyway."

(bored, I'm invading this thread)
Jake would be walking about the park, confused by recent events, and restless over having nothing in particular to do. As he was wondering the park, he saw his friend Clyde, talking to a strange girl, and decided to see what was going on...more directly this time, since secrecy and stealth had a way with causing problems for him in this town.
"Hey there Clyde," Jake shouted as he jogged up to the other young man, "who's your friend there?"

((Ok I'm back now. Was gonna post yesterday, but hotel internet sucked.)) Nanako looked at Clyde for a minute before replying with a nod to his willingness to help her. "I'd be... grateful." She said as she had to think of the word to use. It was by the time Nanako finished speaking that another person's voice entered her rage of hearing. Looking at him it appeared to be another human boy. He seemed to know Clyde so Nanako assumed they were either friends or something along those lines. ((Open thread. All welcome))

"Ok, great!" He said with perhaps a bit of forced enthusiasm. Just at that moment, however, another familiar figure showed up. "...Ah, Jake. Good to see you, you seem seem to be in good health." He gave a light nod to his friend, before motioning to the shinigami, "This is Nanako, a friend from the shinigami's realm. ...She's helped Ryo and myself a few times in the past." he explained to the young man.
Clyde was grateful his friend had shown up actually, as he was certainly one of the more grounded and sensible humans he knew...himself included. Surely he could help Nanako to research human life. "She's here on research, actually, trying to learn how we live as humans, I was gonnna help her with it and you're welcome to help too." he offered to his ally, scratching the back of his head with a playful grin on his face.
"See, Nanako. One thing about human life is that we're pretty much all equals...so unless it's your job you can't really order someone to do something for you. Instead we ask for favors or for assistance from those we trust and they expect the same from us in return." He tried to give some sort of insight to help her out immediately. "And if they decline, its no hard feelings." He continued, trying to find the differences between their lives and shinigami lives, though he didn't know much about the two and their differences.

"Or at least that's how its supposed to work," Jake said with a slight smile having wordlessly accepted Clyde's invitation, "but the reality is often very different. Some humans feel they're better than everyone else, regardless of their station in life. If you want a comparable example, its like an insubordinate soldier, they think that they can just do as they please."
Looking at Nanako now, Jake waved with a smile and introduced himself saying, "Name's Jake. I haven't had many chances to interact with people from the Soul Society, so I'm sure I can learn just as much from you as you can from me."

Interesting. Both of these humans had completely different views of human life. She figured that everyone would share the same views. Guess humans and Shinigami are pretty much the same, but they did things in different ways. She wanted to know more. "Insubordinate 12th Division members often disappear." A random thing to say almost. "I'd like to know more. As much as you can tell me or show me." ((Not much, but hey it's morning(ok it's not, but I just woke up anyway) when I'm posting. I wanted this done before I forgot.))

Clyde would motion for them to follow him as he would start heading down the path that would eventually lead into the city. "We can show you more if we head to the main districts of the town." He took a slow pace with the two, enjoying an actual moment of peace in Karakura for once. It was pretty rare these days. It was nice to not have to worry about some hollow attack and just have a walk with some familiar faces.
"When it gets later in the night like it is now, most younger humans go home to be taken care of by their parents and preform some responsibilities for their family. While the older humans go to the main districts for fun and to spend some time with friends." He tried to explain, in the way he saw it anyway, he was completely sure if he was right but he knew Jake could pick up the slack for him and try and make this sound like he knew what he was talking about. "I usually don't return to Sensei's shop until late, as night is when the hollows seem to show up the most. There's usually plenty of cleaning up to do in there too when I get back..." He sighed with a bit of a smile, knowing that Ryo and the other residents were pretty much slobs.

"I'm glad I don't live at the shop then," Jake said with a laugh, "I can't stand messes...my apartment is spotless."

Nanako followed behind Clyde listening to his words. Taking in the information as data and using it to add to her own personality possibly. This worlds so far sounds pretty basic, yet holds some interesting things. Much different from 12th Division own little underground world in the labs. "I hardly see a mess in the labs. Orders are to clean the labs up when not in use. The Slugcat creatures then crawl along the floor and wall to sterilize the place." She comment on their talk of messy living places. She lived in the labs so it was almost always extremely clean.

"It's not so bad, I guess. Sometimes I just wonder how such intelligent and dedicated people could be so...lazy." He laughed a bit as he thought of the other residents at the shop. As Nanako explained the cleanliness of the lab the trio was exited the park and crossed the first street into town. "Is a slug cat anything like a cat in the living world?" He laughed somewhat at the name, but some experience with Nonko made him think it was probably some horrible looking creature.
"Be patient while crossing these streets, Nanako." He warned, pointing over to cars that would move by without a care in the world, reckless driving. "The people who drive those vehicles tend not to stop for anyone...not until that light up there changes, anyway." He moved his pointed finger up towards a large post with the lights on it. "Then again with the training we have we could probably just jump over the vehicles if we needed to." He laughed again as they waited for the light to change.

"Don't put ideas in her head," Jake said warily, unsure exactly how knowledgeable Nanako was about the Human World.
"You know...I don't think I'll be much help...unlike with Clyde, most of this stuff seems like common sense to me. With him its all new and fresh...relatively anyway."
