(Continued from bleachalt21.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=hm2&thread=4714&page=1)Karzan had been in his chambers having his injuries healed for about an hour now, and he now came out into the throne room, taking his seat and looking around. "It seems Nero may fit into this room yet..." Karzan said to himself before turning to one of his two attendants, "Go to the entrance Hall and summon those who are waiting there. You'll find the Second in Command, as well as the Segunda. With them will be a rather large draconic Hollow named Nero...while you're at it, round up anyone you may find along the way. We will be leaving for the World of the Living."

"So, oh Lord of the Deep..." Kyoshin's voice preceded him in the Throne Room. As the commander walked in and took his seat, he casually remarked, "We will be departing, then? How long shall we stay?" He seemed eager to leave, and he was. There was so much he wanted to do in the Living World, and by the sound of it, Karzan had been encouraging destruction. So much to eat, to destroy, to fight...

"Yes, is there an exact point where we might consider this expedition a success, or are we to do as we please for awhile until it's time to return?" He asked the lord of the deep, following up Kyoshin's question as Nero and the two of them would enter the throne room. Virgil made sure to duck away from the dragon, knowing he'd take up much of that side of the room if he stayed on that side...he did not want to feel cramped.

Nero followed Virgil and Kyoshin to the doorway of the throne room and only attempted his entrance after the two arrancar did. He brought all of his limbs in close to his body and managed to slip through with little problem. He looked around the room...it was strange. A vague light shown down from the ceiling unto the table where the arrancar would sit but the rest of the room was dark. However Nero spotted a spacious area in the back and slithered his way around the table to that spot. He preferred the dark...it was easier on his eyes. The darkened room would only give away a silhouette of his body as Nero stood and looked down upon the table and its inhabitants.
"Is this all there is My Lord? Three arrancar?" He would say rather perplexed that the once great hollow army was shrunk down to this.

"Sadly yes Nero," Karzan said in response to the dragon first, "this is all that remains. Our men have deserted almost as soon as they've joined, and only the location of one deserter is known...he resides at our destination, and is in the company of two men, both of whom have betrayed the organizations they once belonged to. We'll deal with them when the time comes."
Turning now to Virgil and Kyoshin, Karzan considered their question for a moment before speaking, "Well first off, we'll be staying as long as we like...and our objective is quite simple. We do not have enough of a presence in the world of the living, our reputation is slowly dwindling, even with our allies. This trip is to gather people's attention; to show them that we are still around."

"As anticipated..." Kyoshin reclined in his chair, grinning as the tip of his tongue ran across his front teeth, anticipating the taste of Souls already.
"We are presuming the Shinigami won't be responding quickly? Even if they did, they won't be a problem for us..."

A trip to the real world... Nero hadn't been in the real world in ages. He listened to the three but didn't speak a word...there was nothing really to say at the moment.

"Grand Dragon?" Vacio, if anyone happened to have been watching him enter carrying a strange and somewhat cumbersome device, visibly balked at the giant standing amongst them before collecting himself under his typical mask of silent and calm falseness. He set the object down, making obvious eye drawn lines on the floot to be sure it was out of range of nero in case he ever decided to swing his tail really wide letting everyone take a firm look at it.
It was for all intents and purposes a large dish, clamping arms attached to a sort of tripod at the back of the dishes concave form and floating in the middle on a set of thin arms was a small round ball with a stylized eye drawn on it. Anyone with a brain on earth items would think he had just hijacked a directTV satellite dish but he was not going to explain it's purpose unless asked.
For now he gave a slight bow to the dragon, a creature is seemed even he respected, before turning to Karzan.
"Sir, would you mind if I used your little foray as distraction to test my hypothesis about the little problem I mentioned to you a few days ago?" He wasn't acting his normal self today, using Sir to address KArzan in place of just his first name. His false show of fealty meant to appease and gain from the situation what he desired of the moment as opposed to receiving a swift and painful denial of his right to use them as meat shields.
"It might prove useful in helping kyoshin sleep at night if that makes it a more bearable idea for everyone that I use you to keep my research safe. It is indeed for everyones benefit but my own for this one instance."

"Would you listen if I forbid it?" Karzan said looking at Vacio complacently, "I have asked you to do this Vacio, I'm not about to deny you the chance to fulfill my request...I would like to ask what that device is though...its quite the odd looking thing."
Karzan stepped down from his throne, walking over to Vacio and his device, bending down to peer at the circular bowl-like apparatus. He looked at the sphere with the eye drawn into it, and blinked, wondering if it was some sort of surveillance device.

"Please ask, it is a form of jammer. I found that the little machines send a signal out, though what that signal contains I have not yet discovered I can tell how to block it from sending in localized area. This dish is rather small so it won't be an effective jammer for much farther then a mile, maybe a mile and a half if the skies are clear. IT should at least keep us unseen from whomever is using these things."
He gestured politely at the object before finishing his thoughts.
"The reason it is so small is because it is made of real materials from the human world, it will need to blend in on the house I put it on so that a shinigami will not immediately recognize it."

Nero looked down at the sudden entrance of a fourth arrancar, one unknown to him at the time. He took notice of this new arrancar's subtle actions towards himself and kept note. "What machines do you speak of...Vacio." His voice rumbled the room slightly even though he was keeping it down in volume.

As Vacio, Karzan and Nero spoke, Kyoshin remained in his seat, having glanced over when Vacio had entered the room so he knew what Vacio was carrying. When Nero asked what machines Vacio had spoken of, it was Kyoshin who cut across them and answered himself while still sitting in his chair, facing away from them. "Previous to thy arrival, Nero, our Vacio here conveniently found that the Shinigami have infected us with microbial spies. They spread like a disease, you most likely have caught them by now through your exposure to Karzan. According to our Researcher here, these microbes can't be killed." He looked behind his chair at the rest of the group, a sickly grin on his face. "Like I said, convenient."

Virgil remained silent, listening contently but mostly waiting for the others to finish up their conversation so they could leave. Parasites or Microbes in his body? Ridiculous but most likely true otherwise why bother even mentioning something so odd, but he was not worried thanks to Vacio's convenient invention which happened to look equally as ridicilous. "How irritating. If these things spread as you say they do more than likely most everything in Las Noches is infected by now. What sort of effect will these things have on us?" Virgil asked curiously.

Ignoring the comment of the others, Karzan frowned as he thought about the implications of Vacio's plan to prevent the microbes from being active.
"If this dish needs to be placed on a building, that will mean we need a semi-permanent base of operations while we're in the World of the Living," Karzan said still frowning, "otherwise its useless to us. If we were to discuss things outside the dishes range of influence, we could be found out...is it active right now? We should start considering where to put the device, and there's no point to that if the damned things in our bodies are still working."

"Right now i am unsure if it even works fully as want it to Karzan, so this is a mere test. If it is a success we can easily place hundreds of them expanding the area. I have 3 already setup on Las Noches performing it's duties so we are fine while here and soon will be on earthif they do in fact work."
vacio seemed to wave the worries of his experiment off, his own ego not letting him agree where he normally would do so if he were not Vacio.

Kyoshin was obviously getting nauseated by the thought of the parasites, and let his fear of the parasites (and the eyes of the Shinigami) give him confidence in Vacio's plan. Letting himself be consoled by the possible prospect of nullifying the microbes, he resumed his normal manner and spoke to the group, "Shall we be leaving, then?"

"I grow tired of this waiting...if we are to leave, let it be now!" Nero would sneer, his voice's volume being just enough to send small reverberations throughout the room. A small set of flames would escape out of agitation through his nostrils but naturally arched upward towards the ceiling. "We accomplish nothing by sitting here." It was unusual for his patience to be worked like this. In his mind, this time wasted could have been better served in preparation.
"Finish this plotting, get yourselves ready and get us onto Earth..." He would say as his volume subsided.

"Calm down Nero," Karzan said irritably, "If we aren't careful, we'll have all our enemies about our ears in a matter of minutes. Vacio, find somewhere secluded to set up your device as soon as we arrive. Nero, you will stay with me until I specify otherwise. Virgil and Kyoshin, you may do as you please, just be sure not to let any crucial information make it past your lips, even if it seems you're alone."
As he finished speaking, Karzan would snap his fingers, opening the Garganta in the empty space beside the meeting table. Jumping from his location directly to Nero's back, he sat between one of the dragon's massive back spikes, and gripped one of them loosely with his left hand.
"You may choose your own exits," Karzan said more complacently this time, "it may be an indirect and reckless way to communicate, but if you require to meet with the rest of us, simply go to the graveyard and spike your reiatsu in a recognizable patter."

"Finally!" Nero would erupt in excitement as he reared up with Karzan on board. He then strode into the garganta on all fours.

"Very good, oh Lord of the Deep," said Kyoshin as he rose from his chair. He watched calmly as Karzan mounted Nero and rode off into the shadow, his eyes glinting with evil intent. He then turned to Virgil and Vacio for but a moment, opening his mouth as if to say something. He stopped before the words left his mouth, and turned back to the swirling darkness before him, running towards it suddenly. His gray cloak billowed behind him, and was the last visible part of him to be swallowed by the Garganta.
