(This training thread occurs shortly after Clyde's A little break)
Miwa had just made it to the dojo just in time to see her grandfather off. She watched the back of her grandfather Akihito's head, a bald spot clearly shining amidst his snow white hair, as he waved her goodbye, getting into a taxi.
It was like this a few times a week,Akihito-sensei would leave for his club activities, often spending hours playing Bingo or Mahjong with his elderly buddies while Miwa watched after the dojo. Miwa turned to look up at the Kiyomizu Dojo, the mahogany sign clearly standing out in bright red kanji, partially hidden by a couple of cherry blossom trees on either side. Miwa pushed her way through the front doors, a small jingle could be heard as she walked down a small hall into the main training arena.
The room was of a fairly impressive size, the walls covered in thin padding, the hardwood floor gleaming from under her feet. The ceiling beams wavered high over Miwa, the overall place resembled a gymnasium more than a simple dojo. Grabbing a Kendo Sword from a basket leaning up against the wall, Miwa proceeded to practice her swings, letting the blade swipe through the air with a variety of sweeps, all while listening for the jingle of the door in front.

Miwa didn't know it, but since her meeting with the boy Clyde in the shopping district, she had been followed. Seeming to have disappeared into the crowd, Drystan had in fact, used his power to cloak himself from sight, bending light around him to make it appear as if he were invisible. He had then waited for Miwa to head home, and followed her. He had some personal suspicions he wanted to clear up, and some questions he wanted answer.
When the taxi had left with the old man, Drystan uncloaked himself, and entered the dojo directly behind Miwa, smiling as he easily eluded alerting her to his presence, even fully visible. Only when she began to practice with the bamboo shinai did he make his presence known.
"Its a nice place you got here," he said leaning against the wall near the entrance, "must put a lot of guys off, knowing your family runs a dojo."

Not heeding the sudden emergence of the man behind her, Miwa continuing to swing the shinai, now with overhead thrusts, striking at the air before her, her voice calmly stating the usual banter for the dojo. "I'm sorry, lesson hours are from 10am to 3pm. However, use of the dojo to the public is from 3pm to 8pm."
Miwa halted upon recognizing that accent, letting the shinai swing down in an overhead arc once more, before turning around to find the young man she had met earlier that day leaning against the wall. Her eyes immediately lowered at the sight of the young man, her grip tightening on the shinai hilt should the need call for it.
"Well, if it isn't the pervert from the clothing store. I should have known I was being followed from the static built along the back of my neck. If you've come here looking for a date, forget it, I'm not interested. There's a high school a few miles away, you'll have better luck going for the girls in the school clubs, maybe you can find a nice little gullible sweetie in the home economics class."

"You need to chill," Drystan said with a smile plastered on his face, "I already told you it was all in jest. No need to get your knickers in a knot."
Ceasing to lean on the wall, Drystan walked over to where Miwa was standing, holding his hands in the air; the standard stance of one who was surrendering. "And pervert is a strong work don'tcha think?" he said lightly, "Its not like I tried to molest you or anything."

Miwa set down the bamboo blade shinai, before looking back up at Drystan, crossing her arms as she raised an eyebrow at his remark.
"I don't know, you might try if given the opportunity. There are very few who can resist this."
Letting out a light hearted laugh, Miwa turned around, her back exposed to Drystan as she glanced over towards a storage closet in the corner. She was enjoying herself at Drystan's expense, throwing out taunt after taunt to get a reaction.
"So if you're not here to watch young girls in revealing warmup positions, what are you here for then?"

"We both know that we have 'special' qualities to us," Drystan said getting straight to business, "I for one like to get to know the 'special' qualities of others like me when I meet them. Also a good chance to show off my own."
As he finished speaking, a flash of violet light would appear in his left hand, and suddenly he would be invisible, and then reappear. It was one of his non-offensive abilities, but it had its uses.

"I see, so you mean the Reiatsu present in our bodies." Miwa lifted up her hand, letting just enough reiatsu flow into it to let a multitude of bright blue sparks erupt, shooting into the air then popping into several sparks, much like a miniature fireworks spectacle. Her eyes looked up at Drystan, that same blue electricity seemingly filled her eyes, a malicious grin covering her face. "I assume this is what you're speaking of?"
Miwa pauses for a moment, thinking briefly to herself, before continuing.
"The only way I can see learning the qualities of our so called qualities is through a quick sparring match."

"So you're intelligence does extend beyond the ability to make witty comments," Drystan said laughingly in mock delight, "and that was exactly what I had in mind...I wouldn't suggest fighting here though...it might be a bit of a hassle to repair the damage and I don't want to be held responsible for it."

Miwa's eyes narrowed once again, the vivid blue of her irises growing even more fierce as they begun to spark.
"Then where do you suppose we spar that's out of the way of public eyes?"
Miwa eyes dimmed down to their original blue as she looked towards her feet, contemplating a variety of locations through her head. "Well, there's an abandoned hospital nearby. Originally the rumors were that the place was haunted, but from what I can tell even the Hollows have long forsakened the place, so it's in decay. It mainly serves as a tourist trap certain times of the year."

"Sounds good to me," Drystan said as he indicated for Miwa to lead the way, "I don't know the area, so I wouldn't know where would be good for fighting."
Drystan was smiling the entire time. It wasn't his usual 'just for appearances' smile either, Drystan was genuinely happy about the situation. It'd had been a while since he had been able to test his Alchemy in battle, despite the fact that he had developed it purely for such a purpose.

"Hmm, well off we go then."
Miwa pushed Drystan out through the front door of the dojo, not forcefully, but with a little nudge, as she locked the doors behind her before turning around to face Drystan.
"It's a slow day, so I doubt we'll have any visitors this late."
Motioning Drystan to follow her, she ran down the steps towards where the abandoned hospital was, occasionally stopping to look behind her to see if he was still following her or to whenever she saw a cat dart by, where she would disappear to chase it, only to reappear moments later behind Drystan.
About thirty minutes of Miwa's restless weaving in and out of alleys and chasing cats, the hospital was clearly seen looming overhead in this more desolate part of Karakura, the large building cracked and in disrepair, strongly resembling something one might see in a horror film. Majority of the buildings around them were unlivable and those that were still inhabitable just poorly maintained, the breeze catching various clutter in the street, Miwa ducking just in time to avoid an old newspaper that had blown out from one of the alleys, the flapping of the pages.
"At least we don't have to worry about disturbing anyone here, very few live here anymore and those that do are either drunk majority of the time or are part of a gang, so society doesn't accept them anyway. They eventually plan to bulldoze the entire area, but have stalled the construction for years now, so in essence, we can unleash anything without too much trouble."
In another burst of energy, Miwa sprinted through the front gates of the hospital, jumping over various debris littering the once immaculate emergency entrance, not even bothering to see if Drystan was still following her as she climbed to the top of a mountain of broken concrete.

Drystan followed wordlessly, smiling occasionally whenever Miwa wandered after a cat, but remaining silent none the less. When they reached the run down building, Drystan looked around sadly, wondering what once might have stood here because of the hard work of various people.
When Miwa avoided the flying newspaper it hit Drystan squarely in the face, and he pulled it off lazily, just in time to see Miwa rush into the ruined hospital building. Following her at a jog, when he reached the inside, he wordless touched a pile of concrete, and let his reiatsu flow into it, causing it to glow a lavender purple, before it it began to change shape and assemble itself behind Drystan, making rough repairs to the crumbling walls.
"Lets get started then," Drystan said with a smile, "if you win, I'll make you anything you want. If I win, I get to fix this place up."

Pulling a small rubber band out from her pocket, Miwa proceeded to pull her hair up into a ponytail, her eyes focused on Drystan, that same blue spark starting to flare from her eyes, as her hands emanated the smae blue shroud of reiatsu. Materials from the rubble slowly gathered into her outstretched hands, quickly reassembling into a katana. She quickly swung the blade through the air, shaking off the excess static accumulated around the onyx blade.
Miwa smiled towards Drystan, both hands coming to tighten on the hilt of Huracan as she held it in front of her, her lips forming the words "Fine, let's begin...," before jumping off the concrete pile towards Drystan, her blade hung above her head as she fell. Huracan came crashing down upon Drystan with all of Miwa's weight put into the impact.

As soon as Miwa began to form her weapon, Drystan slammed his hand on the ground, and in a flash of violet light, a stone wall came up from the debris. As Miwa's attack hit the stone wall, Drystan's left hand would go into the air, and there would appear in the air a glowing runic circle, giving off a ghastly purple light. "Golden Steel." Drystan said placing his hand in the runic circle. As his hand met with it, blue reishi particles began to gather, similar to how a Quincy drew arrow for their bow, as well as debris from his surroundings. By the time Miwa could break through the stone wall with her sword, a golden hued sword had formed in Drystan's hand, one with an extremely intricate design. "You should be more careful with sharp objects," Drystan said with a smile, "you could seriously hurt yourself."

Upon the impact against the wall, Miwa shoved her foot into the wall, kicking off it as she flipped her airborne body around, her feet landing softly on the ground as she begun to sprint around Drystan, her katana beginning to build up an electrical current as it began to glow with a blueish light.
"Don't get cocky," Miwa stated boldly, returning Drystan's smile, her hair fluttering wildly behind her. Miwa quickly threw herself back at Drystan, her agile body back on him as she swung Huracan in a horizontal slashing motion, preparing herself for a counter measure should the clean swipe fail.

Instinctively flaring his reiatsu to try and slow Miwa down, Drystan readied his sword to block the slash from his opponent, catching the blade on his and pushing off with his to try and push her away, and jumping backwards at the same time. "You should take your own advice," Drystan said smiling wider, "I've got more than one trick up my sleeves."After he had pushed himself away from Miwa, Drystan held up his left hand, and in another flash of violet light, another runic circle would appear, and from it fired a wide beam of light toward Miwa.

Jumping to the side, Miwa narrowly avoided the beam, looking up from her now crouched position towards Drystan, the smile still etched across her face. She put her right arm out behind her,the sword turning to sand between her fingers,as a new weapon took form.
"Hmm, I suppose we possess similar abilities after all. But I still have tricks as well."
A large metal shuriken was now in her hand, as she flung it full force towards Drystan, the shuriken beginning to flash with Miwa's electrified reiatsu as it rapidly homed in on its mark.

Drystan's eyes grew wide as the Shuriken flew toward him, but he quickly slammed his left hand on the ground and threw up a wall of stone in yet another flash of violet light. As the Shuriken embedded itself in the wall-the very tip coming out the other side, shocking Drystan slightly-he would form 3 more wall, boxing the weapon in, then touching the stone box, he would make a 5th slab of stone close over the top.
When that was done, he jumped into the air, and using alchemy, he transmuted the reishi in the air to allow him to walk. When he was high enough, he hopped on top of the box, and looked down at Miwa.
"So feisty," he said with a laugh, "I hope that's not all you've got."

"Of course not, I still have plenty of tricks left," Miwa added with a smile on her face as she begun to break into another sprint towards the stone box.
She quickly severed the chain of reiatsu connected to the shuriken, as she reformed the katana in the left hand trailing behind her. Bending her knees, Miwa jumped at the wall, letting her reiatsu flow freely into the blade, as she jammed Huracan into the wall, using her own blade as a springboard to launch herself up and onto the box. Landing on her knees, Miwa quickly recovered as she threw her weight back onto Drystan, coming at him with a flurry of slashes in a fluidity motion, each strike letting off a burst of electricity as it collided.

Drystan swore loudly as he was taken by surprise, and hastily blocked Miwa's attacks, matching her move for move, with barely enough time between each strike. The last one sliced into his left forearm slightly, and sent a tingle through the limb, as the electricity shocked the nerves. Realizing where he real power lay, Drystan jumped back, and brought his bleeding left arm into the air, as another circle of light appeared in the air in front of him. "Crua-Ainnir!" he shouted loudly as a torrent of flames erupted from the center of the circle and headed toward Miwa, and Drystan used the reishi in the air to fall slowly backward, keeping an eye on things to make sure she wasn't too hurt, or that she wouldn't try another unexpected move.
