Nero emerged from the garganta in Hueco Mundo not far from Las Noches. "I will kill him..." He said aloud as the silvery sands submitted to the dragon's massive weight. When the portal closed Nero took to the air, his wounds having healed during his flight. As time went by he noticed another garganta open, a group of hollow appearing carrying Karzan. He could feel only a very weak signal of his master's reitsu and immediately turned to his direction.
The hollow were carrying him to Las Noches but trekking their way through the sands was a slow prospect. Nero caught up to them and flew over head before landing next to the group. They looked at the large adjucha with much fear... he was bigger than most of the group together. Nero wasn't interested in eating however. "Give me the Lord of the Deep... NOW!" He roared as he outstretched his hands to collect Karzan. The hollow fearfully did that and when that was done Nero placed the fallen lord upon the back of his neck in a secure position as to not fall off. Then he immediately took off for Las Noches with as much speed as he could muster... similarly to when he nearly killed Karzan when they first met.
Knowing the layout of Las Noches, particularly where the medical ward was, Nero shot a low power cero through the wall and opened a big enough hole to allow him to land directly inside where the stunned and shocked "nurses" were standing. He lowered himself down enough to where they could see and take hold of Karzan. "He is near death. Anyone who attempts to even harm one of his hairs I shall feast upon!" The nurses nodded in fear as they lay Karzan down upon a bed and began working. Nero stood and watched over him for the hours upon hours they spent stabilizing the Lord of the Deep.
When they were finished they carried him to his quarters, Nero following close behind. When they placed him on his bed the dragon bellowed again. "All but one of you may leave." And they all did except one small female arrancar nurse who stayed and kept an eye on Karzan's health while Nero placed himself at the foot of the bed, keeping a vigilant guard.

Her portal opened as the fox adjucha's walked out cracking her neck and wiping the blood which has started to dry up off her face. She could smell defeat in the air as she would simply shake her head. Feeling a weak reiatsu level at Las Noche's and knowing who it was as well. Her thing elegent body would dash across the Moon lit Dune's to make it haste and when she seen the fort up ahead, she'd see Nero blasting a hole through it and land inside with the nearly dead Karzan on his back. 'Geez...this place is going to barely hold up with as many Cero's that have been fired into it already.' She'd run around the building to where the hole was and leapt onto it. Standing on what was left of the wall as Nero escorted the nurses and Karzan to the room where he was to be worked on.
She'd jump down and walk on her hind legs following behind. It was known that Karzan and Slyx didn't have the perfect bond to each other. But she respected him though since he was the Lord of the Deep. She'd stay outside the door, waiting to hear word of Karzan for she didn't want to stay in the same room as Nero, the massive Adjucha's who towered her. She wasn't going to take any odd's. So she'd stay on guard outside the door.

A third Garganta opened over the sands, and out stepped Kyoshin Oscuro, still cradling the unconscious Rose Leocadia in his arms as he made his way to Las Noches, casting his eyes up to his own quarters, visible from the outside of the palace, and still in ruins from Karzan's last 'visit'. He smirked as he watched Nero fly past clutching Karzan, now holding nothing but disdain for the Lord of the Deep. How many Hollows and Arrancar had died for this man's legacy, for his foolish visions and ideals? Surely now that he had failed them all so gravely, everyone would see him for what he was... Surely now, even Rose would realize he was a danger to them all, not worthy of their respect or obedience. He smiled to himself, really quite pleased with how everything had turned out. Despite the massive tolls their kind had taken because of Karzan, no one meaningful to Kyoshin had died, and no one was to blame for all these deaths but the man held in Nero's claws at that moment.
He'd steal a glance at the Tercero every now and then as he walked, finally getting up enough courage to carefully brush some hair out of her face before he arrived at his destination. Kicking open a gateway, he walked into Las Noches and reluctantly, carefully handed Rose over to the medical staff, walking with them as they rushed her towards the medical wing, not wanting to take his eyes off of her when the Tercero was as injured as she was. Perhaps she'd wake up if he stuck around long enough, he simply wanted to hear her speak and to tell her how scared he'd been...

As his treatment commenced, Karzan began to awake. He opened his eyes, but remained silent for several moments, as his mind searched Las Noches for the Reiatsu signatures that would decide the future of Las Noches. He smiled as he located the 2, and with a groan of pain pushed himself to his feet and shoved the medic woman aside.
"You've done enough, I'll live,"" he growled as he got shakily to his feet, "go attend to the Tercero...her energy is much fainter than mine, and all that remains are surface wounds".
When he was no longer shaking he looked up at Nero...the only one of his soldiers who was unwavering in his loyalty, and perhaps the only being who believed in the determination Karzan had. "We must get stronger my friend," Karzan said as he turned to look around the room, "Las Noches will not be so quiet as it is now in the future...and there is a child here who thinks himself a man. I have plans Nero, and I will need your help to maintain my position until I can see them through."

Feeling the reitsu signatures of the three that returned after himself, Nero was keeping track of their locations. He giggled to himself quietly when he felt the other adjucha, Slyx, waiting outside of the door. He shifted slightly to face Karzan when he felt his reitsu rise a little bit to signify he was awake. With a slight bow of the head he spoke in a more quiet tone so as no one but Karzan himself would hear. If anyone were to walk into the room he would immediately go silent.
"I know of the one you speak my lord." He stared at Karzan, his eyes burning fiercely. "I have been keeping an eye on him for a long time. He is untrustworthy... and not fit for any form of leadership." Nero thought back to the battle from which he kept an eagle's eye on over head throughout the fight. "All he had done was to slake his own desires. However... he has unwittingly shown a weakness in the form of another. One we can use to our advantage if the need arises." He lowered himself down so that his eyes were more level with Karzan's. "I will do whatever is needed to secure your throne, my lord. What do you command of me?"
Nero was very humble towards Karzan. The Lord of the Deep was the only being which the dragon showed respect towards and held much loyalty. "You have earned your position. I shall defend it."

Slyx would walk into the room after Nero was done speaking, feeling the Lord regaining his power slowly. Shed stay quiet for a moment then speak up, "My Lord, I'll help you keep you throne since Anubis chose you over everyone else to be the Lord of the deep. Your command is law and my bidding." She'd bow her head to the Lord to show respect to him and didn't care what Nero had to say about her being there or what she said to the Lord. She will help defend his title.
She'd stay near the door incase someone decided that they wanted to jump in and do something rather stupid. It wasn't wise to start a fight with Slyx and Nero in the same room alone. But with Karzan in the state that he is in, it was reasonable that anyone would try and kill the Lord and gain the title as Lord of the Deep.

The rest of the nurses tending to Karzan would move past and around Kyoshin, gathering around the heavily injured Tercera espada, doing what needed to be done to stabilize her body as best as they could. Talk of the severity of the wounds would be overheard to the second in command, it would be impossible for her to be in working condition for some time, but they believed confidently she would survive. The major problem was that the reiatsu of the of human’s attack still had yet to dissipate within her, shocking the arrancar that made attempts to fix the damage more permanently.
While the others conversed in their own groups, the nurses ran back and forth around the medical wing, gathering the necessary supplies to maintain the hollow’s life energy. Kyoshin would watch as the pale woman slumbered. Every so often she would move, unconsciously struggling from the pain, eventually causing the nurses to restrain her to the table to more efficiently deal with her. “W-we apologize, Master Agotar, b-but if she continues to struggle it’ll o-only make her injuries…worse.” One would nervously say in fear to the much stronger espada as they did so, not wanting him to angrily interfere in their work…or kill them.
After nearly three hours of constant maintenance, they finally deemed that she was stable. While still unconscious, they guaranteed the others that the wounds would not kill her and moved her from the table onto a bed to rest in. “When she’s regained some of her strength, we can attempt to remove the more permanent damage to the skin tissue. She should be fully functional when she recovers, however.” They reassured to those who wished to know, before promptly moving on to less “important” injured arrancar and hollow that had followed the espada back to Los Noches. Many of them would die due to the nurses focusing much of their resources to ensure the members of the espada lived. Even as she rested, Rose’s face contorted in pain and anguish; both from her sore body and from her shattered ego from her failure during the battle.

"He just needs to be shown his errors and corrected," Karzan said in an oddly kind tone, "and his errors are also mine...I handed him the power he wields, when I should have tested him as we all were tested..."
Karzan nodded at the Hollow-fox when she spoke...her loyalty would likely be fickle, it mattered not though. Leaving the room, Karzan headed back towards the infirmary, and entered to see the Tercero who lay in front of Kyoshin...these two were the perfect example of what he wanted the Arrancar to be, but even they could not see it...so he would tear them apart, and use Kyoshin's ego against him.
"Kyoshin," Karzan said louder so the whole room could hear, "I believe you have something in your possession that can aid Rose's recovery...give her the Estimulo."
Karzan did not care if Kyoshin believed his privacy had been breached, but Karzan knew all that went on within Las Noches, because he regularly checked the memories of all Hollow and Arrancar who were not one of the Espada, he hadn't known the details of Kyoshin's "medicine" until their recent fight however. Once Kyoshin had complied with the order to give the pill to Rose, Karzan would muster his strength, and bring himself to stand at his full height.
"This is my last order to you as my Second in Command...you are henceforth Privaron," Karzan said loud enough for his voice to echo down the halls outside, "and from this moment, Rose shall be your replacement, my new Second in Command!"
Looking then to his new Commander, Karzan spoke softly, "You have done well Rose, much better than I myself fared in this battle...I have been a fool, blinded by my own ambition, but no more. You alone among the Espada understand what we are, so I would have you work with me to build our home back up, and protect our family here, from the Shinigami who seek to destroy us."
In his mind, Karzan was jubilant. He knew Rose would not refuse him, for while he did not think of the current Arrancar as "family" he wanted to...his goal was to give himself that sort of freedom, and extend that freedom to his fellows...so where better to start than someone who despite everything took that freedom for herself.
'And Kyoshin will not dare to intervene now,' he thought with glee, 'or he risks isolating the only thing that gets through to his heart."
((Wanted to do this before I lost the inspiration...@kyoshin, you can use the Hueco Estimulo with no penalty, we'll say you replaced it during the time skip.))

Ripping open the Garganta, Sven soon stepped out of the portal, several small canine Hollows rushing out around his knees as they swarmed around the silver haired Arrancar. Taking a step forward, the Garganta closed as Sven found himself in the throne room. Making his way out of the throne room, Sven soon made his way to the infirmary. Chances were that Zaraki would find his way there, most likely by the fools that blindly followed him.
As he approached the door, Sven would halt outside as he leaned against the wall, listening to the last part of the conversation, which he found very interesting on his part. ...you are henceforth Privaron.. With that statement, Sven's face broke into it's traditional grin, that sly but deceitful look embracing his facial expression. Lord Agotar had been demoted, and his grave weakness had been exploited. Rose had been made the new Second in Command, though it was unlikely that Sven himself would bow to such a person. Yet as Sven's smile grew wider, he noticed the fatal flaw Zaraki had made. In making Agotar Privaron, he had cast the one who posed the biggest threat. Although Sven applauded the solution the Lord had came up with, holding the previous Tercero above him.
Sven wasn't above laying a hand on the blind arrancar, who throigh analyzing with his Pesquisa, he held a clear advantage over her. His sound waves would make disposing of the new Second In Command easy, it was just Kyoshin's reaction that ate at Sven. While he originally held deepening affection for the man who turned him from his Hollow life, he now was disgusted at Agotar's most recent weakness, replacing the Kyoshin he had once revered.
Yet he still needed the man regardless of his current weakness. It just made him easier to control, a marionette that Karzan had begun to string along.
Chuckling to himself, Sven pushed himself off the wall, digging his hands deep into his pockets, walking away towards his own quarters. As he passed the doorway, he would simply mutter under his breath, nearly spitting out the Lord of the Deep's name in disdain. "Vell, thiz zhould be interesting....Vell played Zaraki..."

As he watched Rose thrash and the nurses who so obviously feared for her own life informed him that the Tercero was endangering herself, his response surprisingly was not of anger but calm concern, as he walked over to Rose's side, knelt, and placed his hand on her forehead in a cautiously strong touch, wanting to comfort her more than restrain her but hoping to accomplish the latter as well when he placed his other hand on the Tercero's shoulder, gently but firmly holding her in place.
The young Arrancar looked up in surprise as Karzan entered and made his request, giving his Lord a bemused glance but still appearing and feeling more than compliant with the order. "As you say, oh Lord of the Deep..." he intoned, turning his attention again to Rose and producing the asked for pill from his hakama. Carefully propping the Arrancar's head up so she wouldn't choke on it, he carefully administered the Hueco Estimulo and watched as with a sudden surge of the Tercero's Reiatsu, all her wounds would be healed and she'd be suddenly fighting-fit and full of energy. Normally, he'd consider the use of his prized Hollow-Regen drug a waste, as he'd had it developed for combat and using it when there was no fight to be made felt inefficient to say the least, but if it was to promote Rose's well-being he was of course more than willing. Then he heard Karzan's second order.
"That so?" Kyoshin asked confidently, rising to his feet with a mocking smile on his face. "And what's demoting me gonna do? Regardless of the rank you give me, I'm still strong enough to take all three of you, and that's not something you can change, Karzan..." He glanced at the two Adjuchas present as he made the boast, as they were clearly still loyal to their 'Lord' despite his failure. It confused him, but wasn't too surprising, as neither was Karzan's latest attempt to humiliate the young Arrancar. "And, if anything, the Shinigami want to destroy us 'cuz of you..." he added, on a lower, more sulky note. "Before, they haven't set foot in Hueco Mundo... Their ideals are arguably as ridiculous as yours, but conflict between our kinds isn't a given."

Rose’s entire body would rise from the bed as she took in a heavy, shocked gasp of air as her consciousness was violently returned thanks to whatever was administered to her by Kyoshin, her reiatsu briefly flaring across the infirmary before she calmed herself down and collapsed back atop the bed in confusion. Her bandaged face darted around the room, as colors began to fill her vision and register where she was. Several of the espada’s colors filled the room, including the Lord of the Deeps and Kyoshin’s. She realized that they couldn’t possibly be in the battle anymore, and the gray hues of the walls reminded her of the walls of Los Noches. …They had returned home.
She lifted her hand and placed atop where she had been “shot” by the human, the skin felt rough and scarred over, but was otherwise healed. Her heart was pumping faster than normal and the rest of her wounds were completely gone…this was not the ordinary healing prowess of the arrancar nurse. Everything slowly started to come together, as she overheard the others speak and she removed herself from the bed. The battle had indeed been lost, they had retreated back to Heuco Mundo…she truly had failed. A part of her had already known, deep down, and her heart sank when she could already see the hostilities of the others growing.
Then…it happened. Karzan teal form moved forward, doing its best to mask his injuries, and he made his last order to Kyoshin as his second command. And within an instance, that order fell upon Rose to become his new commander; her bandaged face hid any emotions her eyes might have shown at that moment and her head merely looked down in humble modesty. She remained silent, not yet responding to what had been said. The pale girl bit her lower lip, conflicted; was she really worthy of such a position after she had failed so miserably? She thought any of the others in the room were strong enough to fill the position adequately…but Karzan chose her over Kyoshin…she just did not understand it.
Then she heard exactly why. Kyoshin, demoted, made no attempts to hide his intentions. Immediately he turned to the others, his black outline threatening both the Lord of the Deep and Adjucha’s that stood by him. It was…always because of her commander. Their affection had caused such a rift between the espada, had caused her own weaknesses and desires to distract her during the most important fight of her life…and now it was causing a civil war between her own family. Lord Karzan had chosen her, she believed anyway, because she was one of the few left who wanted to make things right…because she understood his ideals. Kyoshin, he refused, actively attempted to ruin those ideals. She knew that if she continued to remain close to him, then and there, that her weakness would be exploited and they would all surely be doomed. Perhaps, she thought, if she distanced herself from the onyx espada…she could remove the route of the problem and…fix him.
“Kyoshin,” Her soft voice would finally reveal itself to the others, along with another sound, the removal of her Zankaputo. With the Ex-second in command so close to her, it was a simple matter of extending the blade's tip to place it at the base of his back…a visible outline to her thanks to his training. “I…” She seemed to hesitate, taking in a deep breath to stop her lack of self confidence from getting in the way, “I won’t let you threaten our Lord.” The pale woman finally said sternly. “I won’t let you destroy everything he has worked for…and I won’t let you break this family apart!” She yelled out, her voice echoing through the room. A sorrowful sigh escaped her lips; her hair fell over her face to mask her depressed disposition. “I have failed my Lord once today…please…don’t let me fail him again....” Her voice trailed, saddened, depressed, and even defeated. She never had wanted things to come to this, and it clearly pained her…but she did what she must. "...please."

"You were the Second in Command in that battle... Agotar." Nero spoke as he walked into the room and up to Karzan. "You were placed in charge of the battle as second in command. So the question isn't why did our lord fail in his fight... why did YOU fail to give command?" As the dragon spoke the various objects and tables rattled with the words that came out of Nero's mouth. To him he was speaking at a normal level... to the rest it would be as if he were yelling.
"You allowed the forces placed under your stead to divide and do what they pleased while you went off to fight by yourself. Because of this the shinigami and the humans rallied and became organized. Because of this numerous hollow perished... because of this we almost lost Rose. Tell me... DEAR Agotar... taking all of this into account... who failed who?" It was an obvious rhetorical question for the answer lay plain as the Hueco moon. "You're own inexperience in command, your own desires... even your own power has blinded you young one."
Nero then softened his tone a bit. "This was not a complete failure however... we may have lost hollow... more shall come into our fold because of this. Through this defeat we shall grow stronger. We decimated the shinigami ranks. Neither side won the fight... but we are still alive. Stop dwelling in who failed and remind yourselves that you are still breathing." This was wisdom beyond which any of the arrancar had shown. And it was coming from an Adjucha no less.

She'd watch as everyone was pretty much in their own little verbal fighting amongest themselves. She'd walk out of the room hearing the remark from the former second in command. It wasn't just Karzan who failed, the failure goes down the chain of command. If the Second runner up couldnt do any better, then he's just as fault as Karzan. But she'd keep her mouth shut as she walk around the old castle. Remembering most of the battles that had happened her along time ago.
She didn't really know who to follow now with all the tension in the air now. It was going to be difficult, but whoever is the victor better get it right. Her head would stay lowered as she kept walking until she'd be at the hole in the wall and jumped through it landing in the Moon lit sands. Seeing a smaller hollow near by, she tracked it, hunted it down and devoured the small Menos. With her back against the wall, she'd look at the moon as if making a wish or seeing the future. But in general reality, she was planning. Time for words is over and time for action is needed. She'd need Karzan's help with this though. So she will find the right time for it.
Hearing the booming voice of Nero from outside wasn't no in a sense since he was much bigger then most Adjucha's. The sounds of the wods of what he said made her smile since she was right with what she was thinking earlier. "Looks like I'm not the only one who feels that way. But, by the sounds of how things are going...their seems to be a war coming again by the sounds of voices that are yelling, and if Kyoshin is to lead it, he best find his allies or he will be one left in the sands rotting with no history to tell."
Standing up, she'd begin to walk around again outside. Seeing if she could find something better to do then just sitting there and listening to the arrancar and Nero argueing on who's fault it was, and what went wrong with the battle with the Shinigami. But enough with the past, can't change it now and can only look towards the future. She simply shook her head as she picked up the last bone from the hollow she killed and began to chew on it as she was walking.

"CALM YOURSELVES!"
Karzan's voice would echo as he shouted the command. "We are all to blame for tonight's events," he said in a more level voice, "but no one has failed here...we can yet repair the mistakes we have made." When he had finished speaking, he moved between Rose and Kyoshin, pushing his new Commander's blade away and indicated that she should sheath it...bloodshed was not his goal.
Looking to Kyoshin, Karzan studied the young Arrancar. "As Nero has said," he said calmly, "you are blinded by your own strength, but you are not alone in this sin...we have all been blind, and I have been the blindest of us to allow it...when you have had time to contemplate the reality of things, you may try to regain your position and honor...but I will not hand it to you like I did before. I accepted you into Las Noches in a moment of hubris, and made you my Second, so from now you will earn what you have power over."

Nero simply looked at Karzan as he spoke. He had expected such a reaction from the Lord of the Deep and he just nodded. He was however surprised at Karzan's decision regarding Kyoshin's and Rose's change of ranks. It was... unexpected to say the least and it seemed like it was a good idea... on the surface. Nero's gaze shifted to the new Second in Command, Rose.
"This ploy will work only if she can lead. She's unproven... and in her current mental state ... that is questionable." He thought to himself. He would not openly question Karzan's decisions in front of everyone however he could see how this plan could easily collapse. Perhaps he would speak with his lord in private, away from the prying eyes and carefully listening ears of the busy bodies that lurked in abundance in Las Noches. For now though he would keep silent about the matter.

(I'm sorry, guys, had finals this last weekend, and still got some more coming up, but I found some time before I went to sleep to finish this.)
It was as his eyes bore down on Karzan, confident and disapproving, that Kyoshin felt the cold point of Rose's blade against his back, and everything shattered inside of him. Of course, he realized slowly, turning his head hesitantly to be met by the former Tercero's stern yet troubled gaze. Rose still sided with Karzan. Even after all of this, the Espada and Hollows continued to revere the Lord of the Deep as if they owned him their lives, not as if he'd just asked all of them to risk theirs in a conflict he'd both instigated and lost. And Rose still saw them all as a family, one meant to be cold, distant, and cruel, but a family in her eyes nonetheless.
"Rose..." he said as if whispering, his eyes begging her to stop. "Not... Not you, too... I-I thought..." Then Nero moved in and spoke, reminding them all of the role Kyoshin had been ordered to play in all of this and asking why the Hollow masses had not succeeded under him.
"B-but-" the young Arrancar sputtered, looking clearly scared and defensive as he pointed at Karzan wildly and countered, "But he started it! He made them all march out there! What could I have done?" What truly scared Kyoshin was, of course, the realization that the blood from the massacre they'd just faced was on his hands as well, something he'd denied with certainty before, but now had to face. It was true, really, he'd come with the intention of leading the Hordes from the sky, but Rose's initial endangerment had prompted him to descend and engage the strongest Shinigami firsthand, which he'd thought was more his style anyway. And if it hadn't been for Karzan, he might have succeeded in executing a second Shinigami that day... But the many Hollows that had perished were not to be ignored, and perhaps might have had a better chance if he'd given them any direction...
"What could I have done..." he repeated slowly, more to himself than to anyone else as his eyes fell to the floor and he dropped to his knees, his elbows on Rose's bed with his head cradled in his hands. "I tried to help you..." he said, barely raising his gaze to meet the new Commander's. But it was done. Kyoshin was defeated.

OOC: I'm gonna go ahead and post now, and we'll close this up since the time skip is in place.
"You were tasked with commanding the Espada and the Hollow Kyoshin, not protecting them," Karzan said as he turned to leave, "but did you not stop to think that the best way to protect them would have been to give them direction? I lost because I was a fool, and underestimated my enemy's strength. You lost, because you did not even care about the outcome...about the lives of those you were supposed to be commanding. Rose cares about the results, and was injured protecting her family...you are the least damaged of us all, and because you went off to pick fights rather than command the others and place yourself in harms way."
Walking away, he beckoned for Rose to follow him. 'I've finally won,' he thought to himself with malicious glee, 'I have broken the stray child...he will not cause any more problems for the time being.' His face remained calm, as he walked, heading back to his throne room. "We have much to think about Rose," he said loud enough for Kyoshin to hear as they moved, "to repair the damage caused by my mistakes...in this fight, and in my choice of commanders."

Rose let out a disheartened sigh as Kyoshin fell upon his knees, broken. She cursed him and herself, from the beginning she had warned about what would happen if the two grew in their attachment for one another…she warned that others would exploit it as a weakness against them. That was happening now; Karzan was abusing the weakness Kyoshin had developed to allow him to settle these matters once and for all. She wished desperately it did come to such a thing, but it needed to be done. To her, Karzan's actions had been justified. It was all a lesson, a means to teach Kyoshin the lessons he so clearly needed...perhaps this time, Kyoshin would actually listen.
The very affection they had now drove them apart, Rose’s desperate attempt to have Kyoshin “reform” and rethink the mutiny he now openly admitted to the others. However, no matter how she justified it…it did not seem right. This worried her, not just for the onyx espada but for herself. The pale arrancar did not want to feel this way, everything she was being told was that it was a weakness and weakness would lead to her destruction. That was why she needed to allow this manipulation to happen, if they wanted to live…and fix the damage that had been done, she needed to steel herself from Kyoshin…even if it pained her to do so.
As her lord beckoned her, she would sheath her sword. “…This is how it must be, Kyoshin. ...I'm sorry.” Her fragile voice delicately whispered to the ex-commander; to those around the two it would not even be audible from how quietly she had said it, but Kyoshin’s close proximity would allow him. With those final words her bandaged head turned and embraced the teal reiatsu that emitted from Karzan, allowing her to follow him more easily. “My sword is yours…Lord Karzan…”

Nero looked down upon the collapsed Kyoshin. It was a pitiful sight to him... to see such a strong creature with all of the opportunity in the world to succeed... to see him fall this far from grace. It also made him smile on the inside.
"You think I blindly follow Karzan... dont you?" It was a rhetorical question. "I've lived for well over 600 years... I've seen arrancar come and go... rise and fall. Some have tried to claim me as their own... and become part of the sands." Nero turned and began walking for the door before he paused. "Karzan's resolve is absolute... he will either accomplish what he has set his mind on... or die trying. That is why I follow him.... you may question him... but at least he knows what he wants. Perhaps you should follow that example... before you too become part of the sands." He then walked out and down the hall, catching up to his master.
