Her white haori is wore over her customized uniform and has its sleeves cut off. She wears her zanpaktou on her back and she wears a maroon hat on her head in the shape of a cat hat.

Personality: Kimiko is known to be a quite hyper active girl. Most people can find her jumping up and down or running around for no real reason at all. She just naturally has a lot more energy than most people do. She has noticed more often than not that this part of her tends to annoy others but this doesn’t seem to bother her just one bit. She’ll just continue being the person that she only knows how to be. She also appears to have no serious bone in her whatsoever and acts the same most the time even when fighting a hollow or any other enemy.
This girl may seem to be hyper active all the time and seem to not be able to be serious but she can be. She knows when exactly she should buckle down and listen to what is going on. She gets like this during fights plenty of times when the enemy is meant to be taken seriously. During captain meetings, she’ll stand at her post quiet as a mouse as the General Commander discusses things and usually won’t talk unless she is spoken to or has something to say; she likes to speak her mind. She will always try to cheer them up the best that she can and will sad if she wasn’t able to accomplish this.
Kimi has a high respect for those that had passed in both worlds and even has a shrine in her office in respect of her late mother. She grew up only a little while under the care of her mother and likes to remember the stories that she used to tell her. She is also has very good manners and will bow in apology if she did something wrong or showed up late for something. If she is feeling sad or upset about something, then she will start crying whether it is a lot of tears or very little depends on what the reason is. History: Kimiko's mother died in a train accident that killed hundreds and caused an uproar in the Soul Society. Though her mother wasn't the only person upon the hundreds that died, Kimiko had been counted as one too, although she hadn't been born yet. When Kimiko's mother reached the Soul Society with the help of a kind Soul Reaper, a kind family took her in after hearing of the tragic event. Without knowledge that her poor unborn child could really begin life in death, she would help around the small home doing chores and whatnot. Only having been 6 months when she died, Kimiko's mother's pregnancy continued without complication finally ending in happy events.
Kimiko Sasaki was born in the Soul Society on Friday, March 13th during a violent storm. Some saw this as an omen and a warning of things to come involving this child. The people her mother had been staying with told her to be cautious and let the baby die. Her mother refused naturally and moved into an abandoned shack on the outskirts of West Rukongai where she began to raise Kimiko. Mainly fighting for her child to live rather than herself and ended up losing her life when Kimiko was 4.
Before her mother died, Kimiko had always played with the other children that lived on the outskirts. They helped her gain strength and happiness that all young children needed. After her mother's death, the other children took her into their care and started teaching her the basics of survival. They once again brought a smile to young Kimiko's face although she was still seen as an omen to the people in the village. This came in handy when it was time to get food for the others and her because she was the distraction.
As Kimiko got older it was her turn to protect the little ones as the others began to grow ill. Life on the outskirts got harder and it was more difficult to steal food from the villagers with such little number. As the loved ones around them began to fall, the others started to get discouraged and Kimiko knew she had to do something. It wasn't going to get any better if she just sat there so she marched into the village and demanded for some medicine and food. She was denied for her request because she lacked the money that was needed and none of the old fools were kind enough to just gladly give her the things she needed.
Kimiko walked out of the village outraged and a little discouraged. But her entire conversation had caught the attention of a Soul Reaper that had been passing through the village. He walked out from behind a tree causing her to stop and handed her the things she had asked for. She had remembered her mother telling her stories about the nice people who lead her to the Rukongai and thanked the man greatly. Before the kind Soul Reaper left he told her about the Soul Reaper Academy having noticed her untamed spirit energy and told her that she could help her friends more if she became a Soul Reaper.
Kimiko was able to save her friends with the medicine and food that the Soul Reaper had provided her with when the people in the village didn’t. She started to think about the offer that had been made to her and remembered when one of the kids who had been a year older than her left to the Soul Reaper Academy. Hue had been one of the older kids even though it was only by a year that had taken care of her when her mother died. It had made all the others sad when he left but Kimiko had just turned around with her arms folded staring in the other direction. She hadn’t been one that was good with goodbyes but instead kept all the sad thoughts to herself.
It only took her a solid year to decide whether or not to go and chose the former instead of the latter. Her leave was pretty hard for her to deal with only being roughly about 11 years of age. The group of outskirts kids had felt sad again but wasn’t going to stop her because it was her choice. Kimiko made her way to only building in the Rukongai that was really big and super close to the Seireitei that you could hear the faint sound of footsteps inside. The building was a little intimidating but she swallowed her fear and stepped inside finding herself in front of the same Soul Reaper she had met a year ago.
He had been waiting for her to make her decision knowing she would make a positive one just so she could actually enter the building. She was immediately enrolled into the academy and began to learn the necessities. Kimiko caught on very easily and got all the lessons that were taught. She was a natural or that was what all the others kept telling her. Of course, on her first day she ran into one of her old friends, Hue, who sometimes helped her with her lessons only when she needed it.
After the six years it was required to be in the academy, she graduated and was put onto a squad that didn’t have a lot of responsibilities. Kimiko was glad that she had made it through and began to train in all of her spare time. It was the only thing she could do if she wanted to stay out of trouble. Pretty soon she learned her zanpakutou’s name allowing her to reach Shikai, which caused her to be moved to a different squad. Being moved gave her less time to practice but she tried not to complain and trained when she could.
Squad 13, the new squad she had been moved to was one that went to the real world, which she began to become attached to. The world that she had never known with all the mysterious things that had yet to be explored. This might have been when she began to fall even more into her personality she has now. Her curiosity got the better of her and she remembered herself when she was a kid always messing around, always happy. She noticed how all the other members of squad 13 would try to avoid her at all costs due to her hyper nature and the tricks she loved to play.
With most of her squad avoiding her, she got to have more time to herself and more time to train. She wanted to get stronger so that she could help her never forgotten friends. Kimiko trained and trained like crazy hoping to perfect her Shikai level with the help of her friend, Hue, who was also on the same squad. She achieved her goal of becoming stronger when she achieved bankai, which took 8 hard, difficult years to do. With achieving this level she was pushed up from her 7th seat position to Vice Captain.
Kimiko was happy about her achievement and glad to serve as vice captain of her squad. She felt it was her duty to help her comrades and keep the real world safe, which it was. Though she still had her hyper personality and still played tricks she worked hard and always trained to become better. This was one reason why she had been chosen to move up even when her bankai was still far from complete. She still trains in her spare time to reach her goal and does her best to prove that they have chosen the right person for the job.

She didn't know what they had been calling her until a younger shinigami said it right to her face but she liked it. Za Danshingu Fenikkusu or The Dancing Phoenix had been spreading like wildfire and seemed to stick to her like glue. She was naturally hyper and was know to dance from place to place sometimes which is where the dancing part of her alias came from. The phoenix part came from her zanpaktou's ability in its bankai form which allowed her to have wings made of fire.
Over the many years since she had been made Vice Captain, she’d been trying to balance all her duties along with her training with little success. Working under her best friend, Hue, wasn’t so difficult because she felt like he gave her little work to give her more time to train. But when a new enemy appeared it was time for her to do her job and ignore her training for awhile. The rise of the Onigami, rebel Soul Reaper, hadn’t been seen by anybody and it proved difficult for everyone as friends betrayed their friends. It was very frustrating to Kimiko and she wanted so much to knock sense into those who had chosen the Onigami’s side to their original side.
The war took a turn for the worse when the Commander General disappeared and no one was able to find him. Her best friend was taken from his position as the Captain of Squad 13 and made the new Commander General. Kimiko acted the same way that she had when he left to go to the Soul Reaper Academy and once again kept everything to herself. With her being the Vice Captain and with the sudden promotion of the Captain, she was made the Captain of Squad 13 because she was the only one at that time to be able to take the position that quickly. Her comrades knew she could do it because of how well she had handled her Vice duties and has been Captain ever since.
A few things have happened since then though. Her best friend turned love was demoted from being Commander General and was placed into the Maggots Nest for betrayal. He was released during an attack by the Onigami and he went on to live in the human world. On a visit to the human world she ran into him while she was killing a hollow and he took her back to where he was staying so they could talk. They shared a kiss before they were interrupted by Nanako of the 12th Division.
Kimiko swore to Hue that she would help him get back is form of protection so he could be safe. The captain of the 12th Division called them to his lab so they could discuss the terms of this agreement but the plans ended before they could begin. They were sent back by Nonko and after that Hue disappeared. She was devastated that she had almost betrayed the Seireitei and went to apologize to her lieutenant at the time who gave her the forgiveness that she had been seeking. She later asked Nonko to completely forget what had happened in the lab as he told her to forget what she had saw; they both agreed.
She had returned back to the Soul Society shortly after the Commander General who had replaced Hue went missing. He was soon replaced back another who seemed fairer in his ruling and someone who looked to the elder of the Shinigami for opinions. She hasn't left as she has just got back but is looking for a replacement Lieutenant now.

Kaji Kitsune doesn’t have the same type of personality as Kimiko and is in fact almost exactly opposite of her. She is a lot more serious than Kimiko and finds Kimiko’s behavior childish and unpleasant. Despite her feelings towards Kimiko’s behavior is harsh, she is very loyal and believes in Kimiko more than anything. She can be very insightful and encourages Kimiko to do her best even though she is pretty harsh on her. She, however, gets pretty excited when she knows Kimiko is about to go into battle and it usually shows through Kimiko’s eyes because she can sense the excitement rising from her blade due to them being very connected.
Inner World: Kimiko’s sword’s inner world is in the middle of a forest that is experiencing a wildfire. The flames that are engulfing this forest seem to never stop roaring and the heat from the flames is almost unbearable. Kaji Kitsune lives here comfortably feeding on the flames although it never seems to affect the wildfire at all and at the same time she appears to feed the fire increasing its intensity.

· Kimiko is able to melt most metal with just a swipe of the blade due to its immeasurable heat. Exceptions to this are the metal of a zanpaktou and any type of metal that's melting point is below 1500 °C.
· When a person or hollow is cut by the blade of Kaji Kitsune, they will at first just feel normal pain but then it will feel like they are being burnt on the inside of the cut. The heat from her blade will enter their injury and will flow into the bloodstream spreading throughout their body with the unbearable heat it will feel like flames are burning their insides but in reality they aren't really hurt except for the cut that was inflicted; it was all an illusion.
· If an opponent or any other object is just touched by the blade of Kaji Kitsune then the temperature of that object or opponent will increase until it is unable to be weld or the opponent will lose the ability to think and see straight. After 10 minutes (5 posts) of this happening to the opponent or the object it's temperature will return to normal and she will only be able to repeat this ability 3 more times after the first.
Bankai:
· When a cut is made on her opponent it causes a small bull’s eye that only she can see show up and will be the automatic target for any and sometimes all attacks that are made by her. The fire that surrounds her blade will leave behind a small flame that forms a small red bull's eye around the cut just made but the bull's eye itself will not damage her opponent in anyway. This target enables Kimiko to see it from where she might be standing on the battlefield and when she runs around her opponent she'll be able to spot in an instant, and then be able to attack that same spot. The ability tends to lose it's effect after about 20 minutes (10 posts) after activating it or sooner if she uses too much of her spirit energy at once.
· Kimiko gains wings made of flames that are provided by Kaji Kitsune’s true form that will protect her from most attacks. If her opponent has 60+ attack then they will be able to break through these defensive wings and if her opponent uses water to attack her then her defense will fail. They also give her the ability to move more swiftly which therefore makes her attacks a lot quicker. This technique is difficult to maintain and uses a lot of her spiritual energy and hasn’t been perfected yet.
Passive Abilities: When in both her Shikai and Bankai forms, she has the ability to use the fire from her zanpaktou to stop the bleeding in her injuries. The heat or flames from her blade, depends on what form she is in, will slowly head towards her wounds and sink into them which causes the illusion of her own attacks working against her. But in reality once the fire or heat reaches the blood it will extinguish and leave behind steam and ashes. The ashes will cover the wound lightly and stop the blood from flowing. In Shikai, her zanpaktou's heat will increase to 1500 °C and stay that until her Shikai form is deactivated.

The war took a turn for the worse when the Commander General disappeared and no one was able to find him. Her best friend was taken from his position as the Captain of Squad 13 and made the new Commander General. Kimiko acted the same way that she had when he left to go to the Soul Reaper Academy and once again kept everything to herself. With her being the Vice Captain and with the sudden promotion of the Captain, she was made the Captain of Squad 13 because she was the only one at that time to be able to take the position that quickly. Her comrades knew she could do it because of how well she had handled her Vice duties and has been Captain ever since.
A few things have happened since then though. Her best friend turned love was demoted from being Commander General and was placed into the Maggots Nest for betrayal. He was released during an attack by the Onigami and he went on to live in the human world. On a visit to the human world she ran into him while she was killing a hollow and he took her back to where he was staying so they could talk. They shared a kiss before they were interrupted by Nanako of the 12th Division.
Kimiko swore to Hue that she would help him get back is form of protection so he could be safe. The captain of the 12th Division called them to his lab so they could discuss the terms of this agreement but the plans ended before they could begin. They were sent back by Nonko and after that Hue disappeared. She was devastated that she had almost betrayed the Seireitei and went to apologize to her lieutenant at the time who gave her the forgiveness that she had been seeking. She later asked Nonko to completely forget what had happened in the lab as he told her to forget what she had saw; they both agreed.
She had returned back to the Soul Society shortly after the Commander General who had replaced Hue went missing. He was soon replaced back another who seemed fairer in his ruling and someone who looked to the elder of the Shinigami for opinions. She hasn't left as she has just got back but is looking for a replacement Lieutenant now.

Appearance:
When her Shikai is released she has three abilities. Kimiko folds her fist around the blade of her zanpakutou and slides it down. This causes the blade to turn a deep red color and it becomes ultra hot to any one but Kimiko.

When her Bankai is released she has one perfected technique(First one mentioned) and one not perfected yet. Kimiko will swipe her hand down the length of her blade and say the call out phrase, which will cause the blade to burst out in flame.
Spirit Description:
Kaji Kitsune doesn’t have the same type of personality as Kimiko and is in fact almost exactly opposite of her. She is a lot more serious than Kimiko and finds Kimiko’s behavior childish and unpleasant. Despite her feelings towards Kimiko’s behavior is harsh, she is very loyal and believes in Kimiko more than anything. She can be very insightful and encourages Kimiko to do her best even though she is pretty harsh on her. She, however, gets pretty excited when she knows Kimiko is about to go into battle and it usually shows through Kimiko’s eyes because she can sense the excitement rising from her blade due to them being very connected.
Inner World: Kimiko’s sword’s inner world is in the middle of a forest that is experiencing a wildfire. The flames that are engulfing this forest seem to never stop roaring and the heat from the flames is almost unbearable. Kaji Kitsune lives here comfortably feeding on the flames although it never seems to affect the wildfire at all and at the same time she appears to feed the fire increasing its intensity.
Attacks:
Shikai:
· Kimiko is able to melt most metal with just a swipe of the blade due to its immeasurable heat. Exceptions to this are the metal of a zanpaktou and any type of metal that's melting point is below 1500 °C.
· When a person or hollow is cut by the blade of Kaji Kitsune, they will at first just feel normal pain but then it will feel like they are being burnt on the inside of the cut. The heat from her blade will enter their injury and will flow into the bloodstream spreading throughout their body with the unbearable heat it will feel like flames are burning their insides but in reality they aren't really hurt except for the cut that was inflicted; it was all an illusion.
· If an opponent or any other object is just touched by the blade of Kaji Kitsune then the temperature of that object or opponent will increase until it is unable to be weld or the opponent will lose the ability to think and see straight. After 10 minutes (5 posts) of this happening to the opponent or the object it's temperature will return to normal and she will only be able to repeat this ability 3 more times after the first.
Bankai:
· When a cut is made on her opponent it causes a small bull’s eye that only she can see show up and will be the automatic target for any and sometimes all attacks that are made by her. The fire that surrounds her blade will leave behind a small flame that forms a small red bull's eye around the cut just made but the bull's eye itself will not damage her opponent in anyway. This target enables Kimiko to see it from where she might be standing on the battlefield and when she runs around her opponent she'll be able to spot in an instant, and then be able to attack that same spot. The ability tends to lose it's effect after about 20 minutes (10 posts) after activating it or sooner if she uses too much of her spirit energy at once.
· Kimiko gains wings made of flames that are provided by Kaji Kitsune’s true form that will protect her from most attacks. If her opponent has 60+ attack then they will be able to break through these defensive wings and if her opponent uses water to attack her then her defense will fail. They also give her the ability to move more swiftly which therefore makes her attacks a lot quicker. This technique is difficult to maintain and uses a lot of her spiritual energy and hasn’t been perfected yet.
Passive Abilities: When in both her Shikai and Bankai forms, she has the ability to use the fire from her zanpaktou to stop the bleeding in her injuries. The heat or flames from her blade, depends on what form she is in, will slowly head towards her wounds and sink into them which causes the illusion of her own attacks working against her. But in reality once the fire or heat reaches the blood it will extinguish and leave behind steam and ashes. The ashes will cover the wound lightly and stop the blood from flowing. In Shikai, her zanpaktou's heat will increase to 1500 °C and stay that until her Shikai form is deactivated.
