With the arrancar invasion event finally over (sorry about the delays), it is time for the site to prepare for the timeskip within the RP. What this means for regular/returning members (or members with currently active characters) is that you will need to update the history of your characters.
The timeskip will be a grand total of five years of time passing for every character, which means plenty of things could have happened in between the end of the war and the end of the timeskip for some major things to happen to your characters if you like. For some of you, PM's may be sent out telling you of events that happened during the timeskip for you, but beyond that what happened is largely up to you. These changes in history could also have effects on your characters personalities as well, which you are welcome to modify.
We would simply like to request that all active members at least add something to their history, at least one paragraph. (even if it's just, My character sat around for five years on his tree...) Modified histories should be typed up and then PM'd to any of the mods to be checked over. You can also PM the mods if you want to discuss certain things about your characters during the time skip.
Now this will obviously take some time to completely set up; as while we're updating profiles we're also gonna be working on some system changes and plot related things for the future, so members will still be able to do some "pre-timeskip" Rping (NO training threads), though keep in mind that our goal is to finish all of this up within a week or so's time, so don't drag out any threads you start.
FOR HUMANS: Due to Fullbring and Hi-Spec being more integrated into the system for the RP, it is likely that your profiles need to be revamped to fit the current templates. Check in with Hitsugaya with regards to this, as you may need to switch how some abilities work. It is recommended you re-post your bio with the name of the character and either (Hi-spec revamp) or (fullbring revamp) in the title. An example. Hitsu will be reviewing these as he would a normal profile.

1)Shinigami forces were decimated during the end of the arrancar war, and so the main forces are spending their time trying to train new recruits and find suitable replacements for retiring or defeated members. Even after the five years pass, they still are not at full strength. Takehiko, having turned the ties of the final battle, was placed under review for captain-commander, and was recommended for the position by many of the surviving members. Only one year after the war he became the official captain-commander.
2)Espada and arrancar are also in a similar situation, with many arrancar and pseudo-arrancar dead and replacements needed. The area Karzan and Clyde had fought has left a scar upon Heuco Mundo, referred to as the "Fissure," where reiatsu from the battle seems to constantly circulate from the aftermath. This area has become a beacon for hollow, who are guided to the energy putting them just outside of Los Noches.
3) Quincy suffered no casualties as only two members participated in the battle. With their new leader in charge, Lucia Abendroth, they have become a far more active force with the gap of the shinigami needed to be filled. Hollow attacks, however, have become far more rare after the end of the war.
4) The final battle in karakura city was chalked up as some sort of natural disaster by those who did not witness it. However, many ordinary humans who were caught in the battle were surrounded by so much spiritual energy that many became spiritually aware in one way or another. This has lead to a huge increase of people claiming to see ghosts and other such supernatural things. The city is currently looking for a way to deal with the sudden increase in crazies, and is working with Yakushi Hospital for a solution...this has increased tourism quite a bit. In general though, the city has been focusing on rebuilding, and hollow attacks have lowered significantly since the war.
