"Sanben....seal up....It's rude to go in with a gun in hand."
A small figure dripping with blood was holding onto a small scrap of cloth, all that was left after the utter annihilation of Befrei Eindom. Even Mijek had been sent through a shredder just to escape from it, the shinigami were truly a terrifying breed.
"No...not Shinigami..something else." The scrap of clothe straighted, and a crease on the mans forehead slowly disappeared as the sword formed in his hand was sheathed at his back with mild difficulty. Fresh blood flowed from wounds that had just stopped bleeding only to open again with the stretch of his worn body.
"Sanben? Can you hear me?"
Nothing, he guessed thats what happened after a sword was so utterly mutilated that from a giant dragon it became reduced to simply a small bundle of clothe in the users hand.
Mijek, cut all over but never the less standing as tall and proud as his short stature allowed looked up to the building before him. Viz Co. He'd only had the need to come here twice before, and both times hadn't been in a state where his head could be lopped off by the human secretary at the desk either.
He swirled his tatter coat over his shoulders, opening further small wounds across his body that were painful but not life threatening. He pushed the door frame open and immediately felt mor wounds he had been holding closed with sheer force of will start to blled again...the walls of this place had always bothered him, like they didn't trust their visitors.
As he stalked across the clean floor he left a few droplets here and there but continued forward to the front desk before ringing the bell for the attention of the person attending it.
"I don't have an appointment, but I need to speak with Kuro Akuma. Tell him the Onigami...are dead."

The secretary had watched the man walk in and knew he was in bad shape, however with the policies of the powerful corporation she was almost forced to call security on him to have him removed. As he approached the desk her hand slid to the alert button but the soft side of her wanted to know what was going on. Once the message was delivered to her a look of horror quickly filled her face. "Oh god.. Your a survivor Mr.Akuma spoke of such an event in the meeting earlier today he thought you all were gone. Please hurry to the back elevator i will send it straight up to him." After sending the onigami on his way she would jump on the phone quickly sending telling Kuro that he had a visitor that he would be happy to see.

"A survivor.....how many days did it take me to get here...for him to be able to holding a meeting on it."
Mijek nodded before proceeding around the counter, the thought had been mostly to himself and muttered. In his escape he'd been followed so maybe it had been a few cat and mouse days while he killed his tail.
"Hmm? Back Elevator? Well I suppose if they wanted to kill me they'd have done it before...am I really the only one who got out alive?"
He stepped into the waiting lift box before the doors closed whisper quiet behind him and he began to ascend to the higher levels. "What were those people...."

In time the elevator would come to a halt and once it opened there Kuro would be siting at his desk. The room was quite nice the rug was a blood redit looked antique and very expensive and the furniture in the room matched. In the far left wall a couch and in front of his desk two chairs. "It brings me great pleasure to see that we were not the only ones to make it out but I feel for you considering so many of your allies perished without even knowing a reason for their extinction. I welcome you to my corporation with open arms." The elder said as he stood to his feet, "You dont look to good and I can only imagine what its going in your head please allow my medics to make sure your not wounded to bad and you probably should rest as well." Concern was something Kuro showed little of but from watching the genocide of a people something inside Kuro had changed things didnt sit to well with the elder he himself had been the bringer of death before but there was nothing nice about feeling helpless as thousands were slaughtered before your own eyes.

(wasnt sure if he wanted to have been like watching him in the elevator so left that open insert before doors open) As Mijek Ascended he used the shiny walls to try and groom himself, downign the last dose of blood medicine he had to bring his bleeding to a stop and cleaning himself up on the inside of his robes so he'd appear at least a but less bloody and haggard. When he was done it wasn't perfect but he wasn't going to be dripping anymore.
"The only two that mattered to me in the Onigami's empire were long dead anyhow. The loss of the others is disturbing for the sheer needlessness of it. Nothing can be done for them now, I must simply seek to protect thatw hcih I have remained with the Onigami to protect." Mijek began to take a step but held it in the doorway. Below it had been tile, blood came out easily from that which it could not stain. He would be fine given a few days rest and the medics Kuro spoke of and even without the medics he was sure he could sew up his own wounds with some help from Sanben.
He remained paused in the elevator for a second, then two and finally after three rather akward seconds finally stepped out cautiously eying the doorway as if suspicious of it. "Elevators...or very strange things." he said to himself more then to Kuro though it was loud enough to be heard if Kuro wished to acknowledge Mijeks spoken personal thoughts.
He stopped about a meter from the desk, maybe slightly further actually he wasn't quite sure, and knelt down on one knee and looked at the floor as he had been made accustomed too as a Retainer to his factions leader. "My name is Mijek Tenit, Onigami Retainer and son of 1st Generation Unit Captain Umiko Tenit. I am told I am a survivor of the Onigami leading me to believe I am but one of at most a handful. I ask what you will want in return for my refuge here?"

Kuro watched as Mijek cautiously stepped out from the elevator, in the short seconds that followed he knelt down in front the elder showing respect. It had been sometime since anyone had did such a thing which made him realize just how much time had passed over the years."Stand to your feet I'm not one to praise. You owe me nothing for your stay here in fact I would love your company never had the chance to get to know any of you. If you want your more than welcome to aid me in changing my ways I will be watching the humans for now eventually I will help them develop their abilities in order to protect themselves and this town from the likes of Teisuke. I won't allow what happened to your people to happen here aswell.
Kuro stood from his chair before walking around his desk and placing his hand on Mijek. Slowly the small wounds of the onigami would begin close and the larger ones would stop bleeding effects of his kidou spell. " This should help your recovery for now I really just don't want you bleeding on my carpet.

"I'll recover in my own time, nothing like this will keep me down for long." Mijek paused considering how the words might come out but then simply nodded his gratitude and stood. "You said Teisuke....his is a name I will need to remember for later I believe. For now what I can do for you seems paramount."
He glanced down just slightly and did note that perhaps he would need to find someway to make up for ruining a luxurious thread as was beneath his feet. "If I am the last Onigami it is my duty to bring the heads of their killers to answer for the action. However for now this can be secondary while I assist you in your endeavor to change. I'm curious however....as an Onigami the shinigami would never take me in, and as a vaizard who has wronged them severely in the past it is the same for you. Being near humans also would jeopardize them due to your allies the Arrancar. It left your Onigami relations tenuous at best and the shinigami are nothing if not unyieldingly selfish. How will you keep your allies in check while protecting their only food source?"
Mijek made a point, somehow Kuro would need to not anger the Arrancar while at the same time not letting them eat as much if he hoped to keep the city in order for awhile. "I'd say playing them against the Onigami's slayers should keep them at least somewhat busy for awhile and help keep those men scattered and unable to unite for an offensive like they did my people...with so few."

The elder smirked as he listened to Mijek apparently this guy was better than he thought. Surviving the slaughter proved that he had will and integrity, and listening to his words proved he also had wisdom. "The arrancar have went under many changes since our alliance began. With their new leader I no longer know if our goals are the same we spoke of the group who killed your people before but I doubt they care to much about the situation only time will tell if our agreement shall hold. As to the shinigami I have no idea how to make things better between us. I haven't came with any ideas as to how I can right my wrongs with them just yet. Eventually that time will come when I have to answer what I have done but for now I rather not think of it." Kuro walked back towards his desk and pressed a button on his officephone a red light on it would begin to flash on and off.
"I haven't had a council to put our heads together to figure out a lot out things lately. I hope that you choosing to stay means I can expect to have that once again. The medics will be here shortly I have called for their assistance. Tell me young Mijek considering my past sins how did you know I would be so friendly?"

Kuro was at least realistic, not like the people Mijek had previously served under. Guided by random emotion and then an unholy need to finish a war that should have been erased from history for it's foolishness. Kuro's question however did raise several others. Yes as a retainer Mijek had been aware of the alliance between the two factions, and even without it he had never seen Akuma attack one of his fellow onigami without provocation so from that he could have drawn a friendly conclusion.
But thats not why you came here. Sanben protested in the tone of a condoling grandfather.
He had been on earth for decades as far as Mijek could tell and yet no major battles had taken place because he had seen fit to lay waste to half a city for fun. Shinigami did not openly assault a building they knew containd him either so he must have been friendly for that reason.
You didn't take into account any of this when you wandered into this building Mijek...and I stayed silent not from weariness as you did so.
Yes all these things could have led Mijek to choose to come here but then he would have come ere immediately after leaving his realm and sought shelter. He would have come declaring himself openly and without having wasted days on the men chasing him out of his realm. No...Mijek had come here for a single reason that had nothing to do with Kuro's friendliness.
"I suppose I came here to die....and leave the message that we Onigami were gone as my failure."
He said as the Medics did indeed soon arrive.
"Your council...if that is indeed an invitation I should be proud to accept it once I am recovered."

The vaizard elder blankly stared at Mijek wondering why would he prefer such a fate. Even at the brink of death Kuro never accepted it, then again he had never watched thousands of his comrades be slaughterd mercilessly. As the medics entered the room Kuro would snap out of his trance motioning them to Mijek as his offer was accepted. " Treat his wounds and make sure he has a full recovery, I want analysis on his strength and an accurate estimate on his full strength by tomorrow have the research team search the database if need be. Kuro then walked back to his seat taking his original position as to when Mijek entered the room.
Make sure he gets a company phone after treatments. Mijek my number will be programmed in the phone in case I'm not here when your treatments are done. Dont worry this situation is only a door to a new beginning. Rest and dont worry to much for now. The medics nodded as they helped the onigami to his feet. The elevator would head to their floor as Kuro began to fiddle through a drawer in his desk.

"Very well...i'll likely see you in 1 to 1 and a half days depending on how you intend to test my strength....it's limited however, Sanben can no longer formulate the Abyssal plunge after that battle....Not so soon and he even seems unwilling. To much damage is done to my body each time it's used making it the imperfect form."
He stalked after the medics into the elevator refusing to be carried in with dishonor and gave Kuro a final quip before the doors closed.
"No beginning can come from a story left unclosed."
(doors close, exit thread?)
