Description:
General Description:Shino is a small girl with, with the presence of a giant. She has long white hair and piercing red eyes, her hair is tied back with a red ribbon and it runs all the way down to her thighs. Her pale skin and diminutive stature suggest weakness but she has an air of confidence and a grace of movement that gives the impression that she is farm more dangerous than she appears. Though she is a fairly attractive girl with well-developed curves few see her as such instead she seems more like a weapon forged for battle her demeanor and, persona making her appear cold.

Clothing:She now wears a arrancar outfit, a sleeveless turtle neck that is buttoned up with a hole cut in front above her breasts. The arms are covered by gloves that cover most of her arm leaving only the shoulders and fingers visible. The lower part of the outfit is a long skirt that is cut up to the upper thigh. With knee high boots under the skirt. Each of these items has a black seam where they are sown shut.

Mask: Shino's mask is a white highlighted by light blue. The mask is fairly small only covering the front of her face with feather like bits sticking out of the side. The markings highlights are in the shape of crosses and tainting the tip of the fear like bits on the mask.

Personality:Shino is a girl who tends to run with her emotions and is more likely to let her emotions make her decisions rather than cold logic. However this doesn’t mean she does not make intelligent decisions yet she is ruled by her own emotions and when riled up will always follow her emotions. When calm she is an intelligent and decisive person. While she cares for her friends and loved ones, she finds most of her responsibilities to be troublesome and tedious. She is however, also very brave and loving. She will fight to protect her home, her friends, and her loved ones, even when the odds seem insurmountable. Unfortunately, the girl can also be extremely brash in her actions and she has a head thick enough to crack steel. Over the years she has improved but even so, she has something of a short fuse and, a stubborn streak that makes a charging bull seem reasonable. To add fuel to the fire, she is aggressive and can be merciless when she is dealing with those who she considers enemies. She always speaks her mind and never holds back on account of other people’s feelings which have gotten her into trouble more than once.
She is passionate about everything that she does, even though many would find her to be stiff, humorless, and even moody. But in truth, she is very driven toward her goals and once she sets her mind to something, she will pursue it with such diligence that many would consider it to be obsessive. Even though she may always give it her all, she remains her own “worst critic” by finding faults in herself that no one else would notice. The standards that she holds herself to are usually more than realistic, and when she is unable to reach these standards, she often grows frustrated and angry with herself. Despite all of this, she believes in the contradictory philosophy that failure will make you stronger.
Family: The Shihoin are one of the major houses in Soul Society having produced countless captains over the centuries including Shino herself her clan is a powerful one with many branches however her immediate family consists of her father Takashi, her mother Yuki, herself and her twin sister Shiori. Shiori is nothing like her sister though the two may look the same they are very different, Shiori is a softer gentler version of her twin and had the two grown up normally Shiori would've likely been married off to a noble for the purposes of an alliance while Shino carried on their family name as it's head.

History: "Shihoin a noble name of a noble house, my house. Once upon a time I found that to be something to be proud of. My house had produced some of the greatest and most powerful captains in the history of Soul Society. A name that was respected by any and all Shinigami, too bad their respect isn't worth the dirt on my boots.
I was born as half of a whole, along with my sister Shiori. My mother always said that we should have been born a single person than we'd be perfect in everyway. Shiori was fun loving, sweet, and gentle, while i was ambitious, diligent, and strong. Though we where as different as night and day we where inseparable. As we got older we both began training to become Shinigami however we where not sent to the academy no that was for those of lesser stations. We where taken under the wing of my uncle Nagato who was captain of the 3rd squad at the time. We began our training at the age of 14. Our training was rigorous, and while i fought tooth and nail to for fill what was expected of me Shiori preferred more feminine pursuits. My father and uncle knew that she would never be a great shinigami but they expected her to serve despite the fact. At the age of 16 I was able to wake my Shikai by learning its true name "Shinseina Hikari".
Upon entering the inner world Shino opened her eyes to what seemed like a child's nightmare the evil moon grinning with its horrible grin while the world seemed to be covered in grave markers in a desolate land. Shino began to walk slowly through the graveyard, slowly taking in the surroundings. "Oh god.." She muttered as she walked further into the grave yard until she saw someone sitting in the middle of the grave yard on a bench. He seemed so out of place that it gave her pause as she stood and stared at him Brilliant white wings covered most of his body but his face was visible it was truly the face of an angel.
"You know it's rude to stare." he said teasingly with a friendly smile. For a second she couldn't answer as she stood there dumbly. "So your here to learn my name?" he asked with a smile as he stood up from his bench. "Well before I tell you that can you tell me something?" he asked.
"Sure.." Shino answer a little unsure of herself. "What is it that you would like to know?" She asked him as she walked up closer to him. He had a kindly smile but somehow it seemed sad to her as she watched him.
"I want to know your true name." he said with a soft smile. "If you can face up to your own true name and tell me what it is than I will tell you mine a fair bargain is it not?" he asked. Shino nodded in agreement but she had no idea what her true name was but as soon as she nodded tendrils of darkness flared out around her and the dark energy began to force itself into her eyes. She screamed at first out of sheer shock, but than the true horror began.
Everything she had ever done wrong in her life every horrible little thing and their repercussions began to show themselves to her. Ever shameful little secret that she had told herself was nothing was shown to her in its full implications, and even things she did not know about herself began to show itself to her. By the end of it there was a single word in her mind, the word was nothing like no written or spoken language but that one time she could speak it.
She struggled with herself to say the word as the angel watched her with pity in his eyes. She struggled with herself to say those words everything she was, everything she would be, every selfish self centered hateful thought that she ever had was in that one word. Finally she said that single word letting it roll off her tongue.
The angelic creature smiled "In return I tell you my own name." he said with a smile as he said "Shinseina Hikari." as he spoke the world turned bright white with light forcing shino to close her eyes when she opened her eyes again she was back in the real world.
"We where accepted to the gotei 13 after our 20th birthday where I was granted a 3rd seat immediately while Shiori joined the ranks unseated. Over the next year tragedy struck my family. Shiori was sent off on her first mission I was told to stay since there was only suppose to be a minor hollow. The Mission was a disaster 1 hollow turned into half a dozen. When we went to find Shiori she was gone at the time we assumed she had died. I killed the hollows in the area and mourned my sister because of her death I dove deep into my training soon I was a lieutenant. It wasn't enough i wanted to make sure that I would never lose anyone I was close to again I trained for day a night and eventually I was able to unlock my bankai.
Shino looked around as she returned to her world in search of Shinseina Hikari he was in the same spot he was always in on his bench looking at her. "You know why I'm here?" she asked knowing he already knew.
"Ofcourse child." he said with his pleasant smile but he said no more. As he sat there looking at me.
"Well?" I asked feeling a little on edge expecting something bad to happen. From what she understood this was suppose to be extremely difficult. "Arn't you suppose to give me a test or something?" she asked as she looked over her shoulder to make sure nothing was there.
"Do you really want to do this?" He asked a hint of sadness in his eyes. "This test will change you forever." he added almost as if he was pleeding with her to not attempt the test, but she simply nodded. He closed his eyes and let out a sigh as the graves began to open as dark things crawled out from each of the graves. "So be it." he said as he dispersed and the spirits of the fallen advanced on her. Shino struck down a few before they finally overwhelmed her, but instead of attacking her it was like being flooded with memories. Each soul told a story a horrible story. Every one of them had been killed by the Shinigami. Some of them where at fault yes but others where blameless other than the fact that they had been born to another race. Ever since Shino was a child she had been taught that the Shinigami always acted with honor and to protect the pluses, but the brutality of what she saw was nothing like what she had been told there was no honor in this none at all.
When the memories stopped the angelic form of her spirit returned and whipped away the tear. "There there child." he said as he patted her on the back, as the world faded from around them only to dump her back in the real world.
"I should have know than what I know now, Shinigami are scum but they where my people and family I would not abandon them at least not than. When i achieved my bankai I was 50, and 52 years after that i made captain. Life was a pleasant one at the time I sat on the council as the 3rd captain of the Gotei 13. for a while things where good, for the next 100 years nothing of great import happened those years where peaceful ones with very little going on but than I saw something that changed my life forever.
Shiori was alive, well not really alive she had been hollowfied and turned into an Arrancar, but she was still my sister The two of us met when I was sent on an mission on earth. When I saw her I thought that my heart had stopped, after the initial shock the two of use nervously began to have a conversation but soon our awkwardness died and the two of us chatted like we did when we where young girls. She was still Shiori my sister how she had made it to arrancar rank was beyond me but she was alive and well for the most part. We kept meeting that way spending time in the real world together, and for the next month it was the happiest days of my life.
But my happiness was short lived when I found her dieing. Someone had ran her through. When I spoke with my dieing sister I found out who was responsible I swore revenge on the Shinigami who had killed my dear sister. I would have every one of their heads on a spike, before she died Shiori did something very strange at the time i did not understand. She ran her sword through me but the blade did not hurt. nor did it cause me any bodily harm. Instead I felt a strange tingling akin to power run through me as the sworld disolved.
A few days later I understood what had happened. when I began to go through hollowfication.
A mask grew around Shino's face as she was dragged deep inside her world once again. The dark realm was the same as every dank dreary and as desolate as one could ask for. She looked around wondering what was going on. When she saw a figure she had never seen before it looked like her
Shinseina hikari but it was darker and some how menacing. "Hello there." he said with a grin as he dipped into a deep bow.
"Who are you?" Shino Asked her eyes narrowing as she drew her weapon from her side. As she did so so did he the blade was the same as hers she knew every inch of her sword and there was no doubt the other was a exact duplicate.
"Well I guess I would be your inner hollow. Since I no longer belong to your sister." he Said with a malicious grin. Shino wondered how it was possible that someone with the same face as her Shinseina hikari could look so menacing. "Ahhh and now your wondering why I look like dear Hikari." he said with a grin "Well as you and Shiori are twins me and Shinseina are twins in a way. You see your dear sister passed her hollow powers to you, but I dont think you have nearly what it takes to control it." he finished as he charged shino blade in hand. Shino Slide deftly to the left raising her own blade in time to parry the Monsters blade.
The two fought for what seemed like hours with neither able to gain the advantage. "You can't kill me." he said grinning "You won't kill me I'm the last bit of your sister you have left. he said planting the blade into the ground and leaning on it. "So instead of fighting why don't we make a deal." he said with a smile. "I don't mind serving since it appers our goals are the same."
"What do You mean?" Shino asked lowering her sword as well. looking at the twin of her sword.
"Well you want revenge for your sister correct?" he asked with a smile. "I can help you get it. With me you'll be twice as powerful as you ever where without before and as long as you use that power to, say the destruction of the shinigami I see no reason why the two of us can't work together." He grinned as he held out his hand.
"Your going to help me?" she asked still distrustful of this so called ally.
"Come now." he said "Our goals are the same and we reach them regardless of whose in charge and I personally would rather relax in comfort and let you do all the fighting." When Shino took his hand she returned to the real would and the hollow she had almost become turned to dust leaving her in her own skin once again with a mask in her hand.

Sealed: When Sealed Shinseina hikari is a simple weapon a katana of normal length of about 28 Inches and weighs in at 2 pounds the sword is lighter than most to accommodate her small frame. The weapon has a pearl white handle and the sheath is of the same color with a golden hilt forged in the shape of a cross with the ends extended. The swords is generally tied around her waist and hangs at her side.
Zanpakuto Spirit: Shinseina Hikari has the visage of a angel with long blonde hair and beautiful brown eyes that most girls would envy he looks eternally sad. Well muscled and dressed all in white but for a red scarf, with his unblemished wings behind him he looks similar to the arch angel Micheal.
Shinseina has a personality that is similar to that of an older brother, Shinseina is kind supportive and, always looking out for Shino's best interest. Even so he is unforgiving of mistakes and a harsh task master though he has seldom had reason to be unhappy with Shino his attitude is similar to her own were he believes that nothing else than perfect is acceptable. Even so he believes in forgiveness and often understands her troubles and gives her solace when no one else can.
Inner Hollow: Shino's inner hollow is not the inverse of her but of her weapon. Her Inner hollow is the dark image of Shinseina hikari. With black wings dark hair that runs down his back and eyes that are a malevolent purple. The hollow spirit wears a well tailored Mid-night black Armani suit, with a black tie and, a blood red shirt. The over all effect makes him look like something of a business man.
His personality is very bushiness like, he prefers to offering deals in return for his powers and aid preferring not to fight but instead to barter. His demeanor is cool, calm, and always in control. However ever since Shino decided to hunt down her previous allies he has been more than willing to offer her whatever help he can, since now they share a common goal.
Inner World: The inner world of Shinseina Hikari is very different than what the name would suggest. The inner world resembles the disturbed drawings of a young child. The land scape is perpetual night with with a bright moon that grins evilly down at a graveyard. The graveyard is covered in crosses, the crosses are at odd angles and look strange as if someone was in a hurry to erect them. The whole scene is that of seems satirical as if taunting the dead. In the middle of the grave yard is a bench a very plain bench stone bench with a angel anchored to it by a chain around his ankle.

Shikai
Shinseina Hikari[/b]
Appearance: The blade of Shinseina Hikari remains more or less the same other than the fact that the blade begins to glow like with a white light. However when the shikai is active a single wing of the same white light appears on her back, and the light swills down around her sword arm that shreds what ever it comes in contact with. Though she can not move the light freely it must remain around her arm.
Ability:Fumon (Ignorance) -
Passive Hakujou (Unfeeling) - Like the name suggests this ability allows Shino to feel no pain. No mater how grave the wound she can choose to ignore the pain as if it's not there. This also means that she is capable of driving her body far beyond what a normal person can do. Since she does not feel the pains of exhausting. However this ability has a toll when the shikai is retracted the full weight of her wounds and pains will be inflicted onto her. [/Blockquote]
Bankai
Akarui Shinseina Hikari[/b]
Appearance: Akarui Shinseina Hikari, her bankai when used sprouts three pairs of wings of angelic white from her back. The wings themselves are made of pure Reishi, the banaki gathers nearby spirit particles to form the wings. Once the wings are formed they become as sharp as any sword and cut anything they come in contact with. The blade itself changes as well extending into a masamune 66.25 inches in length and about 5 pounds, the blade remains glowing like it does during its Shikai phase.
Ability: Kindan no kajitsu (Forbidden Fruit) -
Passive: Fumetsu (Undying) - This is the greatest power that Shino possess, and by far the most dangerous to herself. This is the upgraded version of Hakujou as a result the ability is similar. This ability makes it so Shino can regenerate extremely fast when her bankai is activate. This ability allows Shino to heal wounds at a exponential rate allowing her to close wounds almost instantly, however this skill will not help should she suffer a fatal attack for example getting her head chopped off, also this ability will not help her should she lose a limb it will not regenerate. However when the bankai is no longer active like Hakujou the wounds and pain will return and, as such should she not be able to gauge the seriousness of her own injuries the after effects may very well kill her.
