Kuro is kinda an loser. That's why he gives the appearance to be an hard ass because he doesn't really know how to talk to people. He never really had any real friends and every time he tries to be cool with people they often take his kindness and judge him quickly to be weak. He calls himself a loser simply because he cant make friends and is always keeping to himself. He reacts on his own accord which is why he couldn't make it in the 13 protection squads.
He acts on his own instinct which is why he never gets anywhere. He never really been one to take orders and commands from others as he know that people will manipulate and twist things to get their own desire. That's basically how he goes around thinking on his own accord. It takes a while for anyone to be able to throw his focus off because once he is set on something he goes after it with an relentless effort.

History:Growing up Kuro never knew his father it was always him and his mother. As he got to the age of about 12 he noticed that he could see things that other people couldn't. He saw humans with chains hanging from their stomachs, people of all ages. He didn't really know that people considered him a freak as he thought that they understood his gift but many people didn't believe him. Everyone would often find him isolated from everyone else talking to himself or that's what it appeared to look like.
He made friends with many ghost and was happy. Until one day after school, he had stayed after for an detention as he had freaked out the teacher with what she called his "Ghost Talkin" behavior when he told her about her dead brother making sure she was alright everyday and then he explained to her his appearance and everything and she flipped. So he was on his way home when he saw a huge black dog at least that's what it appeared to be. From a distance he saw the whole in the dogs chest and thought it was kinda creepy so he headed the other way. When he turned the nearby corner he noticed one of his ghostly friends hiding and was shaking in fear. He did his best to calm him down but it didn't work. Then all of a sudden an huge black shadow towered over Kuro and his friend,then his friends eyes widened with terror.
Kuro turned to see the huge dog-like monster standing over him with a white mask. The thing then began to laugh which scared Kuro even more, then it began to talk. "Two for the price of one man today must be my lucky day". His tongue rushed out wrapping itself around the human soul and then quickly devoured him right before Kuro's face. Just as soon as that had happened Kuro tried to run anger enraging him and tears dropping from his eyes. The monster then made another comment saying "A human with an unusually high spiritual pressure at that Oh yes this meal will be good". It jumped into the air before landing in front of Kuro and then once again stretched its tongue out to wrap around Kuro. His eyes closed as the monster's tongue drew near.
Then he heard a sound that sounds as if something had been cut. He opened his eyes to see a the monsters tongue laying on the ground and the monster cry out in fear. In then turned to a man wearing a black robe and when Kuro saw his face he became stiff and weak. The man looked almost exactly him then he quickly turned to Kuro and said "Get behind me quick".Kuro rushed to get behind his look alike and watched as the man did battle with the huge monster and in time the monster suddenly began to disintegrate into the air. The man then walked back over to Kuro and placed his hand on his head and said "I'm going to always look after you son but in time you will pick up a sword a fight just like I". He then vanished without a trace. Kuro then quickly ran home to tell his mom of the incident that had just happened.
As he told her she got real emotional and began to hold him tight but why he didn't know. Was it true that the man was his father or was she just sad cause he had almost died today either he embraced her. She never really showed him love and most of the time acted disappointed that he was her son so for her to hug hi so tight he felt a warmth he hadn't felt in a long time. As he grew older he saw more and more other the monsters with their crazy mask in all shapes and forms and when he turned age 16 his mother had passed away from an sickness that had basically tormented her for all her life. He had been able to keep the fact that he could see ghost to himself pretty good now and had to adjust for his next move. He was sent an orphanage were he spent another year of his life. Then one day a violent fire broke out at the orphanage and during and desperate time he made the decision to save a trapped young boy from the fire. The boy made it out but Kuro never did for he had died in his attempt to save the boy. He then soon became a soul that he had seen as his chain hung to the grown and he spent countless days stuck at the burned place that was until the black robed man showed up again. He then told Kuro about Soul Society and everything and Kuro agreed to go so the soul burial was performed.
When he got there he was assigned a family just like everyone else and finally felt as if he belonged. Then the man came there to he convinced Kuro's newly appointed father to let Kuro train with him and when Kuro agreed they set out to train. His father explained to him about the shinigami, their abilities, and their duties before they started training just so he knew what he was getting into before it happened. Still Kuro wanted to train so he was secretly taught the ways of the shinigami they fought day and night and Kuro's father barely gave Kuro anytime to rest. He made Kuro wear an silver necklace and place a picture of Kuro's mother on the end of it but they both knew it was just to keep Kuro's reitsu from being spotted as he grew stronger through training. They snuck around training for about 7 years until John's father was sent unto a mission and he never came back. It was presumed that he died so Kuro decided to do what his father would had wanted to do and went through shinigami academy and of course his scores was so high that he was able to go to the 13 squads almost immediately.
He continued training under 9th squad as that was were his father had been. After a few brawls with a few of his and other squad members he made a new friend. His zanpactou "Takai Tenshi" as they trained together the became stronger and stronger and under his noble captain he felt like he didn't need to climb ranks he had finally found his home. He had became 3rd seat when he learned how to manifest his Zanpakutou spirit, he would often come up missing when people looked for him but in fact he was off training fighting for Bankai. Almost a decade passed and Kuro had stopped his training he had finally achieved Bankai but was far from mastering it. At this stage he could had challenged for Vice Captain but didn't as he liked everyone in his squad they had become his family and he treated them as if they were. There were rumors of another race what they considered Anti-Shinigami was going to attack the realm but know one seemed to care but Kuro. He then went back into his solitude of training as he didn't want to be caught off guard by the invasion if it did happen.
As he trained he learned about invader attacking and the 13 squads trying to defending the attack and was told it wasn't serious and there was no reason he should return to duty so he continued training. A few days later when he was still training he learned of his Captain's Death and it tore him apart. He returned the next day finding everyone down and upset so he tried his best to cheer them up even applying to be Captain a few times but he was turned down. In solitude he trained again for ages alone hoping to fill the void until the strange race began attacking Seirti again. This is when most people found out he had Bankai as he fought off many of the invading race some proving to be stronger than even him. Once things started dieing down he was called up from the Commanding General and at the time he was promoted to Captain. Every since he has dedicated his life to his job. Promising to never let anyone defy the authority of the 13 squads.
It had been a while since Kuro had become an captain when he began to have black out when he pushed himself during training. When he awoke he noticed that there would be massive destruction way different from what he had done while training and often didnt know what had happened. During those time he began to develop a different personality which often was a blood thirsty side telling him to kill everyone that came his way. Fearing everything what could happen if one of his subordinates or other captain would get hurt in an training accident by his unseen personality he simply resigned his position and fled to Karakura Town to hopefully subdue his demon. He trained everyday in an well hidden area so that if his personality took over know one would be hurt for almost two years until an man came and offered to help him conquer this other personality and Kuro quickly accepted.
It was then that Kuro underwent special training until the man told him it was time. He sat Kuro down and pressed something against his head where he was transported to an different world. The world of his zanpakutou, but instead of his spirit beeing there it was an negative of him. It was apparent that he had an inner hollow now and they did battle. Kuro had known only a little about the vaizard race and now he was becoming one. He beat his inner hollow and assumed complete control of his body. When he awoke the man that had trained Kuro stood there with an smile congratulating him.
More years went by and Kuro learned more powerful techniques as he grew in power. He had learned to hold his mask longer and everything. Though one day the man who had taught him everything began to fear what Kuro was becoming. He didnt like the fact that he was learning such powerful techniques so quick and quickly tried to kill him. Off of pure instinct Kuro and the man fought and in the height of battle Kuro killed the man. During the process taking the rank as one of the bigs.
After the battle in Karakura Kuro formed began forming a team, for the first time it would not only be vaizards but special humans aswell with the help of one of the only remaining onigami, Mijek. His company had been infiltrated and information taken on the known vaizards that still lived including himself. The battle with Beur made him uneasy and with the spy in Viz co he knew it was only a matter of time before he himself would be challenged once again. If his time was coming he would make sure Karakura would be safe, Shakan and Mijek would be there if anything happened. Five years of training them mentally and physically time would only tell if out was enough.

-Sealed:While its sealed Kuro's Zanpakutou is slightly shorter than everyone else's about an inch or two smaller which makes it easier to handle and even increases his swing speed. It also has a very unique shin to it as well.
-Shikai:
When Kuro releases his zanpakutou an blinding light shines from his zanpakutou which may stun the enemy he is fighting. His zanpakutou is pretty basic he can basically shoot up to six shots of energy from the tip which can only go forward. Its basically like a gun. Each shot get weaker than the one before which makes him very cautious to when he uses it. He can do that or do his "Gentai" Technique will lets him fire a huge shot of energy which is very powerful but if he uses it he cant shoot anymore streams of energy and most of the time become very exhausted from using an huge amount of reitsu all at once.
-Bankai:
When he activates Bankai (Heru Moui) and new gold aura surrounds him. On the back of his robe a golden gun appears along with the chinese sign that spells the name of his banki.The pupil of Kuro's eyes also begins to turn gold. He bulks up a little bit as well but not a lot it hardly even noticeable. His sword also changes into a new stronger sword which looks like this. When he uses his Bankai he gains back the reitsu he used firing his shikia weapons if used plus a little bit more. He becomes a little faster and is able to fire an unlimited number of streams at you. He does still lose reitsu though and can only do it until he is out of reitsu.

Attacks: He also gains a new attack currently there is no name for it but he basically charges every bit of reitsu he has into his sword and it starts to glow. On the point of contact involving his sword and huge explosion erupts from it most of the time leaving both parties unable to fight or possibly even killing his opponent. The attack cannot kill him him but it does leave him unable to fight regardless both of exhaustion and from the explosion.
Hollow Sync Registration

The hair and star on his chest turn gold, his hollow mask also stays its original black and gold color. Everything else stays the same.
Abilities:
His basic ability of being able to fire his gunblade is still evident in this form. While in this form this attack is majorly increased from what Kuro would usually be able to perform.
Sendo Hoshi Hou Cero: This attack is the result of Kuro converting all of his reitsu into one attack. The star on Kuro’s chest will glow once this attack is ready to be launched, the attack is much like Kuro’s gentai ability of course this one leaving the other in grim comparison in terms of strength. All of his reitsu is charged into one final attack, once the triiger is pressed an huge beam is fired just as the gentai attack. However once fired the beam splits, becoming six independent beams all the size of a fully powered Raikôhô each with the strength of an gran rey cero. (This attack his Kuro’s hollowized Version of Dawn of Destruction)

Passive Abilities:
Marksman: Kuro is able to control the size of the beams he shoot out of his zanpaktou, he is able to do little things like substitute power for speed, speed for power, aswell as the length and width of the beam. Smaller beams would be the weaker but faster attacks while the larger ones will be much slower but pack more of a punch. This also allows Kuro to control whether his attacks have a pierce or exploding effect.
(In this form each non-kidou reitsu move Kuro does is a pure gold color)
Shikai Attacks
Ho-mingu Kujo: When The name of the attack is spoken then all of Kuro's beam shots gain an homing ability and seeks out the targets.[When in Shikai however only one beam can be shot at a time with the Homing effect. When In Bankai Up to 5 beams can be shot with the Homing Effect.]
Gentai: Lets him fire a huge shot of energy which is very powerful but if he uses it he cant shoot anymore streams of energy and most of the time become very exhausted from using an huge amount of reitsu all at once.

Hitsugi Gentai:Unlike when in his shikai form when Kuro uses Hitsugi Gentai it doesnt cost him the price of using all of his reitsu. Instead he burns about a fourth of it each time he uses it. Also a major difference from the normal version to this one is that instead of the beam being blue. It is a golden color with a glowing black outline around it.

he mask looks exactly as pictured, but instead of the little black lines or stripes or what ever you call them. They are going to be gold instead of black.
Inner Hollow: Kuro's inner hollow looks exactly like him but in an pale white comparison. Nothing on him is dark at all exept for the lining of his clothes.

Magician's Trick- This will be an item made for me. Its an contact lens that has an special ability. I can activate it through my reiatsu and once activated it begins to sap in spirit particles into the lens. After it is complete (3 or 5 post depending on if I'm in battle and difficulty of battle) The contact lens will change color signaling that it is complete. From then on if Kuro's opponent looks into his eye the lens would cause the power of complete hypnosis causing the opponent to see illusions of whatever Kuro wants. The illusion stops once Kuro attacks. (this of course will be usable once a week)

His basic ability of being able to fire his gunblade is still evident in this form. While in this form this attack is majorly increased from what Kuro would usually be able to perform.
Sendo Hoshi Hou Cero: This attack is the result of Kuro converting all of his reitsu into one attack. The star on Kuro’s chest will glow once this attack is ready to be launched, the attack is much like Kuro’s gentai ability of course this one leaving the other in grim comparison in terms of strength. All of his reitsu is charged into one final attack, once the triiger is pressed an huge beam is fired just as the gentai attack. However once fired the beam splits, becoming six independent beams all the size of a fully powered Raikôhô each with the strength of an gran rey cero. (This attack his Kuro’s hollowized Version of Dawn of Destruction)

Passive Abilities:
Marksman: Kuro is able to control the size of the beams he shoot out of his zanpaktou, he is able to do little things like substitute power for speed, speed for power, aswell as the length and width of the beam. Smaller beams would be the weaker but faster attacks while the larger ones will be much slower but pack more of a punch. This also allows Kuro to control whether his attacks have a pierce or exploding effect.
(In this form each non-kidou reitsu move Kuro does is a pure gold color)
Shikai Attacks
Ho-mingu Kujo: When The name of the attack is spoken then all of Kuro's beam shots gain an homing ability and seeks out the targets.[When in Shikai however only one beam can be shot at a time with the Homing effect. When In Bankai Up to 5 beams can be shot with the Homing Effect.]
Gentai: Lets him fire a huge shot of energy which is very powerful but if he uses it he cant shoot anymore streams of energy and most of the time become very exhausted from using an huge amount of reitsu all at once.
Bankai Attacks
N/A: charges every bit of reitsu he has into his sword and it starts to glow. On the point of contact involving his sword and huge explosion erupts from it most of the time leaving both parties unable to fight or possibly even killing his opponent. The attack cannot kill him him but it does leave him unable to fight regardless both of exhaustion and from the explosion. If Kuro has more than 60 rei over you then you will be knocked unconsious. If he has more than 100 rei over you then you will be killed instantly.
Hollowized Attack
Original Name: Gentai
Hitsugi Gentai:Unlike when in his shikai form when Kuro uses Hitsugi Gentai it doesnt cost him the price of using all of his reitsu. Instead he burns about a fourth of it each time he uses it. Also a major difference from the normal version to this one is that instead of the beam being blue. It is a golden color with a glowing black outline around it.
Vizard mask
he mask looks exactly as pictured, but instead of the little black lines or stripes or what ever you call them. They are going to be gold instead of black.
Inner Hollow: Kuro's inner hollow looks exactly like him but in an pale white comparison. Nothing on him is dark at all exept for the lining of his clothes.

Custom Items
Magician's Trick- This will be an item made for me. Its an contact lens that has an special ability. I can activate it through my reiatsu and once activated it begins to sap in spirit particles into the lens. After it is complete (3 or 5 post depending on if I'm in battle and difficulty of battle) The contact lens will change color signaling that it is complete. From then on if Kuro's opponent looks into his eye the lens would cause the power of complete hypnosis causing the opponent to see illusions of whatever Kuro wants. The illusion stops once Kuro attacks. (this of course will be usable once a week)
