Description: Zakura stands 6'4" tall and weighs in at 215 lbs. His shoulder length black hair contrasts very well with the pail complextion his lithe and chisled body has. A pair of gray eyes can be seen sunken into a somewhat youthful face as can a small, sinister grin. Instead of the traditional suit overcoat, Zakura wears a black leather longcoat that is knee length and is always worn open. Underneath is a dark blue button down shirt with sleaves rolled up to his elbows worn loosely, the top two buttons always undone and a pair of loose fitting black slacks. His feet are covered in black socks and a pair of black flex dress shoes to complete his ensemble. No tie is ever worn. He also loves smoking cigarretts, Kubishi menthol brand being his favorite.

Personality: Zakura's personality is hard to figure out. Some would see him as a nice, warm hearted person while others would see a cold, callous and vicious monster that cares nothing for the world and other beings around him. His mind is chaotic and in ruin. This, in turn, is translated into the way he acts, thinks, feels and fights and this makes getting close to him difficult. It also makes him extremely hard to read, which is a major advantage.

History:
Human Realm: Not much is known about Zakura during his time in the human realm. What is known is that he was born in the year 1164 to poor german parents who's beliefs were, shall we say...dangerous. Their practices involved demon worshipping and sacrifice, to one demon in particular...Abaddon, the King of Demons.
Throughout his mortal life, Zakura fought for his Germanic tribe with fervor that was unnatural for a human. But not even his skill saved him from his death. In the year 1200, an arrow with a fiery tip struck Zakura in the chest, piercing his heart and killed him. It was later discovered that the arrow was not shot in anger, but the archer who released it was part of a seige training excercise but aimed his bow too high and missed his mark, striking Zakura instead without realising it.
Transition: Most in soul society transition between Earth Realm and Soul Society instantaniously, with no memories of how they got there. Zakura, like everyone else, doenst remember his human life nor his transition.
Life as a Shinigami: After what seemed an eternity spent in darkness, Zakura appeared standing on a trail in a dense forrest along the base of Mt. Koifushi. He looked around for a minute to find his bearings but didnt recognize the landscape. Looking down at himself, he saw a set of ordinary commoner garb covering his body. Looking back up he set off down the trail, hoping to run into other people and get some info.
After wandering through the forrest and the mountains for a few years, he had made some aquaintances, all of which told him where he was, how he got here and gave him basic directions. He had also made some nasty enemies with the local scum that hung around the forrest areas. With the new info, he set off and eventually got back to the trail with which he began this new life. While walking he began hearing several voices talking to each other further up the trail. Zakura stopped and strained to look as far as he could, the lack of light making it hard to see far ahead with clarity however he could make out the figures of 3 men walking the trail towards him. 30 seconds later, the three guys stopped and saw Zakura standing there. They had the look of scum...bandit like thugs Zakura thought to himself. One had a black katana slung on his belt but it was almost pulling his pants off...it looked unusually heavy for such a sword.
The thug on the right spoke to his comrades first. "Hey hey, look what we have here. Fresh meat!" The thug in the middle replied "Ahh, I can finally try this sword out on someone!" The first thug chimed in again. "Ugh...you find a sword stuck in a stump and now you have to go and get giddy on us." The third thug on the left just had a really dumb look on his face, like he was mentally handicapped or something...eww, drool!
The sword wielding thug unsheathed the weapon and pointed it at Zakura. "Get'em boys, before I turn him into confetti." The other two nodded happily and walked over to Zakura, who just stood there, staring at them. The two then broke into a run, one behind the other when they pulled a sort of leap frog attack, the first guy stopping and kneeling on his knees while the slow looking thug lept at Zakura head first from the other thugs shoulders. Instinct took over Zakura's reflexes...when the mid air thug was close enough, he ducked a little, then grabbed his head and using both of their momentums, twisted it, snapping his neck...all before that thug cleared Zakura. He fell to the ground limp and lifeless. Before the kneeling thug had time to react, Zakura ran up and faked him out, acting like he was going to kick him in the face. When the thug's hands were in front of his face, Zakura lifted his right leg up as if to try for the face, then swung his left leg around, kicking him square in the temple. The force of impact sent him flying head first into a tree. Both impacts were death blows.
Zakura landed and spun to face off with the last thug who looked both stunned and pissed off. After letting out a yell, the thug ran up and began swinging wildly at Zakura. His movements were slow however, the sword's apparant heavy weight were making his movements easy to predict. To top it off, this thug was obviously not trained with swords. He decided to end this...when the thug swung the sword downward at him, Zakura grasped the sword by its tsuba, pulled the thug towards him, then with an open palm rammed it with the thug's nose, both the force of impact and the force of Zakura pulling him drove it up into his brain, killing the thug instantly. He pulled the sword from the lifeless to inspect it but when he did a voice echoed through his head. "Zakura..." Almost immediately, Zakura lost conscienceness. When he came to, he sat up on a snow covered ground. He looked around and realised he was in a pine forrest, with heavy snow fall coming down from the cracks of sky between the trees. This is the place where he first learned his zanpakuto's name...Abaddon. This is also where he eventually learned and mastered bankai...this was his inner world.
During the next few years, he spent all of his time on the mountain, training with Abaddon. Zakura discovered the power of his zanpakuto and he trained mercilessly to get better at wielding it. When he felt ready, he decended the mountain and made his way into North Rukongai. He wandered around, looking at the filthiness of the town and its inhabitants. He didnt realise though that he was giving off a large reitsu signature that anyone with sensing skills could detect. And a few had taken notice. As Zakura made his way through the town, he began to notice more and more people watching him, a few dressed in black robes. Just when Zakura took his eyes off where he was going, an older fellow concentrating on his bowl of ramen walked right into him, both men getting soup all over their clothes. Both of them surprisingly said their apologies but Zakura figured he'd get some information while the opportunity was present. They spent all day talking about Soul Society, the layout of the districts, how things were run here and about the shinigami. The older man told Zakura about how to become one by joining up in the academy.
And so he did the very next day. The next few years were spent training hard and learning the ways of the shinigami. The teachers were amazed at Zakura's progress and how quickly he picked things up such as kido. What shocked them most of all was the fact that he his zanpakuto's name halfway through the academy and performed shikai while some full fledged shinigami couldnt even do that, resulting in them wielding asouchi. During his time in the academy he met a young woman named Kagomi Hana who was also a student. They seemed to connect right away, becoming the best of friends over the course of a few years. They were seperated for awhile because Zakura graduated and was placed in the gotei 13 much sooner than his fellow classmates but eventually Kagomi managed to snag a spot in 10th squad, the same as Zakura.
Over the course of the next 500 years, Zakura became well known amongst all shinigami. He quickly rose in rank, earning Vice-Captain, then gaining and mastering bankai as well as the rank of Captain when his captain was promoted to Zero division, with the proper recommendations and approvals from the other division's captains of course...all within 450 years time. Zakura and Kagomi also had a secret relationship during that time, both being careful never to reveal it for the consequences would be high.
Fifty years after becoming captain, Kagomi had begun to act strangely, becoming more and more callous and distant towards Zakura, which baffled him. By this time she was his lieutenant and a fierce warrior in her own right. He had trained her well however he never spoke nor shown her or anyone else outside of the captain's rank his shikai and bankai.
A mission was given to Captain Zakura..one of great importance. An arrancar had appeared in Karakura town with a score of hollow, devouring and absorbing the spirit particles there. So he was dispatched along with Kagomi and the Lieutenant of 2nd division to deal with this situation. Unknown to Zakura however was what Kagomi, with the help of the other Lieutenant, had planned for him.
When they arrived in Karakura town, the two lieutenants immediately set to work on taking out the hollows while Zakura and the Arrancar faced off. It wasnt a mature Arrancar though...while the fight lasted an hour and spread through all of the town, Zakura had no need to go into shikai. After slaying the arrancar, he joined back up with Kagomi and the other lieutenant who were still dealing with the hollows. Kagomi, with a smirk and perfect timing, aimed her next blow not at an attacking hollow, but for Zakura. Caught completely off guard, Kagomi's zanpakuto managed to strike and sever half of Zakura's spirit chain. The hollow tried taking advantage of this development, but barely struck him. One of it's claws snagged another link of his chain and broke it off. The 2nd division lieutenant only saw the hollow strike the captain and thought it was responsible for Zakura's severed spirit chain, thusly killing the hollow. Kagomi feigned concern, an act for the other lieutenant and rushed to Zakura but after realising what just happened, the captain flew into an ungodly rage, his reitsu soaring in strength and intensity. He then used shunpo to get in front of Kagomi and slashed at her with all of his strength. She managed to just barely block the attack with her zanpakuto but the sheer force of the attack sent her flying back through a building, her soul slayer heavily damaged, cracks through the blade.
Just when he was about to shunpo down and finish the traitor off, the 2nd division lieutentant struck him, slicing his zanpakuto down his back. Before Zakura could counter, the chain fully corroded off and a hole formed in his chest. By this time he had blacked out and reawoken in his inner world, coming face to face with his inner hollow. There they did battle, taunting each other as they clashed with sword and fist. Zakura managed to beat his inner hollow. Back in the real world, both lieutenants watched as the captain began turning into a hollow. But as Kagomi thought to herself thoughts of victory, the nearly fully formed hollow figure cracked and shattered, revealing Zakura...with a hollow mask...however he fell to the ground, limp and too exhausted to even lift a finger. The Lieutenants both thought he would either die or become a hollow...either way, they left him there and went back to soul society, reporting that he had turned into a hollow because of a hollow's stray swipe.
It was the following day when Zakura awoke. He looked around but saw no sign of the traitorous lieutenants...of Kagomi. And now he was stuck in Earth realm. During the following 309 years he wandered the world in his gigai, his hollow appearing at random to attack him and each time he fended it off successfully. However during this time the realisation of Kagomi's and the shinigami's treachery towards him left his mind shattered and unstable. The only thing that seemed to help was a human invention..the cigarrette, which he grew very fond of.
He finally came back to Karakura town one year ago, seeking help with his inner hollow. It was only a matter of time before it grasped the upper hand and if there were anyone on earth that could help, they most likely would be in Karakura. So with some of the money he had amassed during his travels, he acquired a small hotel room in which he spend his time scouring the ads for a job, drinking and taking advantage of the hotel's free cable. Well after several months went by and his money plummeting along with the liquor into his throat, an ad for a job opening in the Viz corp building caught his eye. It wasnt the ad itself but what looked like a hidden message in one of the ad's sentences. "unemployment problem? Hiring in Our Lighting department, Living quarters available, Open to all, competitive Wages!" His mind may lay in ruin but it was still capable of deciphering the word Hollow out in that sentence and it called to him. So the next day he bought a nice suit, drank a little mouthwash to freshen his breath, shaved and cleaned himself up before heading to the Viz corp building. Before he left, he tore the ad out of the paper and circled the capitalized letters with a red sharpie marker and put it in his jacket's inner chest pocket, then set out..
During Zakura's time in Karakura town he had become reunited with old and familiar faces from his past such as Ryo and had made a few new friends... Clyde being most notable. He helped train the boy. As time went on however the state of Zak's mind slowly deteriorated further and with his defeat at the hands of the arrancar Kyoshin, it slipped greatly. He couldn't bring himself to fully release against his opponent... and that nearly cost him his life. He only survived thanks to an unlikely ally... Jin himself picked Zakura up from the rubble and carried him off to tend to his wounds before spiriting away.
When Zakura finally woke, he felt a large cadre of emotions. Loneliness... anger... defeat... confusion. It was too much even for the elder to process. All of the power he had acquired... yet he couldn't bring himself to bare it all down in full force... out of fear. He had decided then and there that perhaps he himself was too dangerous for Clyde and the others. Too dangerous to even hang around. So he quietly left the city... alone and into the outlying wilderness. He spent the next five years aimlessly wandering... wondering what there was left for him.
After five long years... he found himself back at the edge of the divide between the forest and Karakura Town... much to his anguish.

-Sealed: When sealed, Abaddon is a 36" long, black katana with a slightly deeper than normal curve. The blade features a strange, complete mirror finish which reflects light energy rather well. The tsuba consists of three pieces, one on either side of the blade and one in front of it that curve up and away two inch from the blade, then curves back down 4 inches towards Zakura's hands. The tsuka measures 2 1/2 feet long, a foot longer than normal katanas. This gives the zanpakuto greater balance and allows for much better control, improving movement, speed and accuracy. The kashira features a length of black and red chain which dangles 4 feet beneath the katana. The end of the chain features a thorn like apendage.

Command: Keine Rose ohne Dornen, Abaddon (No Rose without thorns, Abaddon)
When the command is initiated, Abaddon emits a bright white light as it straighten's fully out. The light where the blade was shoots out and curves every which way around Zakura for roughly 100 yards, the light where the chain used to be wraps itself around the arm which held the zanpakuto. When the light is finished stretching out it takes the form of a very long, black and red chain, each link encircled with a razor sharp edge. At the far end of the chain a 3 foot long thorn protrudes from the ending links, ending in a sharp point. The whole chain is mentally controlled by Zakura and can contract and contort to fit his offensive and defensive needs. Finally, each link is conductive to Zakura's reitsu, allowing free flow of said reitsu through the links. This allows defense to reitsu based attacks as well as physical.
-Bankai:

His hair length remains the same but thickens and looks wilder, his canines become slightly longer and more prominent and develops claw like nails on his hands and feet. Once all of the old skin is turned to ash, one hundred chains shoots out of his back. These chains are exactly the same as the shikai except these are now a part of Zakura, as if they were tentacles. They are now also 100 yards longer, making total chain length to 200 yards.
Mask Description:
A standard looking white mask except for the many 6 inch thorn- like protrusions extend from the middle of the mask's forhead and curves up, forming a crown.

Hollow: A spitting image of Zakura, except the fact that it's colored in shades of white and gray...typical inner hollow.
Inner World: A giant pine tree forrest during a never ending blizzard. Funny how the snow never accumulates higher than one foot.

Senkou Kirite (Flash Cutter)- Zakura firmly implants the thorn at the end of Abaddon into a solid surface (ground, walls, ceiling etc) and while holding on to the other end, uses shunpo to swing himself at the opponent, using the extreme amount of speed and momentum to cut his opponent in half with the chain. (Note: In Bankai, instead of one chain coming at the opponent its 99 chains spread out for greater area of coverage.)
Shoukyoku Rein (Negative Rain)- The holes in each link of Abaddon's chain can be filled with Zakura's black and white reitsu. Once filled, he can, at will, shoot small blasts of condensed reitsu at a single or multiple targets.
Causes moderate damage per blast to weak opponents and minor damage per blast to strong targets. Used mostly as an effective distraction or to harass opponents. Uses 5 reitsu per 10 blasts, or 0.50 reitsu per blast. (Note: In Bankai the damage stays the same however reitsu usage is now only 1 reitsu per 10 blasts. Also note that in Bankai there are now 100 chains that this attack can come from, increasing area of coverage and damage build up potential significantly.
Oni Ranpu (Demon Light)- A powerful beam of black reitsu travels through the chain and out of the tip of the thorn, creating a large blast that can quickly rip through defenses and materials. Alternatively, Zakura can charge the attack for 1 extra turn, doubling its power but also draining twice the reitsu. If opponent has 50 rei more than Zakura's max, normal attack is blocked. If opponent has 100 rei more than Zakura's max, charged attack is blocked. 3 post cool down for charged attack.
Bankai:
Denka Reikon Shimekiri (Charged Soul Ender)- Zakura's most powerful attack, all chains stretch out and curve towards each other, the tips of the thorns aiming ahead and at a central point forming a ring. Each thorn gathers reitsu, then pools it into a ball that grows to a large size. When enough reitsu has been pooled and the command Fire said, the ball of energy bursts into a horrid beam. Upon impact, the energy detonates and creates an explosion that engulfs and destroys the surrounding area. This attack is extremely taxing on Zakura, taking up all of his reitsu to use, has a charge period of 2 turns and renders him unable to fight for one day. Primarily used as a last resort attack, due to the fact that it renders him unable to fight If Zakura has 100 rei more than target, then that target may be killed
Hollowized attack:
Oni Ranpu Zetsuiga- When in hollow form, Zakura's Oni Ranpu becomes much more powerful, less costly on reitsu and instead of being completely black, the center of the blast is white, giving the illusion that the black and white reitsu is struggling for dominance. Oni Ranpu Zetsuiga can be fired not only from Abaddon's thorn but also from Zakura's own hands now. If opponent has 70 rei more than Zakura's max, normal attack is blocked. If opponent has 120 rei more than Zakura's max, charged attack is blocked. 3 turn cool down for charged attack.
Passive Abilities:
Mental Zanpakuto control: Zakura is capable of controlling Abaddon with his mind, making it contort, twist, bend and perform manuevers that would normally be impossible. This degree of control is due to the extremely close bond between Zakura and Abaddon.[/u][/b]

Both of them surprisingly said their apologies but Zakura figured he'd get some information while the opportunity was present. They spent all day talking about Soul Society, the layout of the districts, how things were run here and about the shinigami. The older man told Zakura about how to become one by joining up in the academy.
And so he did the very next day. The next few years were spent training hard and learning the ways of the shinigami. The teachers were amazed at Zakura's progress and how quickly he picked things up such as kido. What shocked them most of all was the fact that he his zanpakuto's name halfway through the academy and performed shikai while some full fledged shinigami couldnt even do that, resulting in them wielding asouchi. During his time in the academy he met a young woman named Kagomi Hana who was also a student. They seemed to connect right away, becoming the best of friends over the course of a few years. They were seperated for awhile because Zakura graduated and was placed in the gotei 13 much sooner than his fellow classmates but eventually Kagomi managed to snag a spot in 10th squad, the same as Zakura.
Over the course of the next 500 years, Zakura became well known amongst all shinigami. He quickly rose in rank, earning Vice-Captain, then gaining and mastering bankai as well as the rank of Captain when his captain was promoted to Zero division, with the proper recommendations and approvals from the other division's captains of course...all within 450 years time. Zakura and Kagomi also had a secret relationship during that time, both being careful never to reveal it for the consequences would be high.
Fifty years after becoming captain, Kagomi had begun to act strangely, becoming more and more callous and distant towards Zakura, which baffled him. By this time she was his lieutenant and a fierce warrior in her own right. He had trained her well however he never spoke nor shown her or anyone else outside of the captain's rank his shikai and bankai.
A mission was given to Captain Zakura..one of great importance. An arrancar had appeared in Karakura town with a score of hollow, devouring and absorbing the spirit particles there. So he was dispatched along with Kagomi and the Lieutenant of 2nd division to deal with this situation. Unknown to Zakura however was what Kagomi, with the help of the other Lieutenant, had planned for him.
When they arrived in Karakura town, the two lieutenants immediately set to work on taking out the hollows while Zakura and the Arrancar faced off. It wasnt a mature Arrancar though...while the fight lasted an hour and spread through all of the town, Zakura had no need to go into shikai. After slaying the arrancar, he joined back up with Kagomi and the other lieutenant who were still dealing with the hollows. Kagomi, with a smirk and perfect timing, aimed her next blow not at an attacking hollow, but for Zakura. Caught completely off guard, Kagomi's zanpakuto managed to strike and sever half of Zakura's spirit chain. The hollow tried taking advantage of this development, but barely struck him. One of it's claws snagged another link of his chain and broke it off. The 2nd division lieutenant only saw the hollow strike the captain and thought it was responsible for Zakura's severed spirit chain, thusly killing the hollow. Kagomi feigned concern, an act for the other lieutenant and rushed to Zakura but after realising what just happened, the captain flew into an ungodly rage, his reitsu soaring in strength and intensity. He then used shunpo to get in front of Kagomi and slashed at her with all of his strength. She managed to just barely block the attack with her zanpakuto but the sheer force of the attack sent her flying back through a building, her soul slayer heavily damaged, cracks through the blade.
Just when he was about to shunpo down and finish the traitor off, the 2nd division lieutentant struck him, slicing his zanpakuto down his back. Before Zakura could counter, the chain fully corroded off and a hole formed in his chest. By this time he had blacked out and reawoken in his inner world, coming face to face with his inner hollow. There they did battle, taunting each other as they clashed with sword and fist. Zakura managed to beat his inner hollow. Back in the real world, both lieutenants watched as the captain began turning into a hollow. But as Kagomi thought to herself thoughts of victory, the nearly fully formed hollow figure cracked and shattered, revealing Zakura...with a hollow mask...however he fell to the ground, limp and too exhausted to even lift a finger. The Lieutenants both thought he would either die or become a hollow...either way, they left him there and went back to soul society, reporting that he had turned into a hollow because of a hollow's stray swipe.
It was the following day when Zakura awoke. He looked around but saw no sign of the traitorous lieutenants...of Kagomi. And now he was stuck in Earth realm. During the following 309 years he wandered the world in his gigai, his hollow appearing at random to attack him and each time he fended it off successfully. However during this time the realisation of Kagomi's and the shinigami's treachery towards him left his mind shattered and unstable. The only thing that seemed to help was a human invention..the cigarrette, which he grew very fond of.
He finally came back to Karakura town one year ago, seeking help with his inner hollow. It was only a matter of time before it grasped the upper hand and if there were anyone on earth that could help, they most likely would be in Karakura. So with some of the money he had amassed during his travels, he acquired a small hotel room in which he spend his time scouring the ads for a job, drinking and taking advantage of the hotel's free cable. Well after several months went by and his money plummeting along with the liquor into his throat, an ad for a job opening in the Viz corp building caught his eye. It wasnt the ad itself but what looked like a hidden message in one of the ad's sentences. "unemployment problem? Hiring in Our Lighting department, Living quarters available, Open to all, competitive Wages!" His mind may lay in ruin but it was still capable of deciphering the word Hollow out in that sentence and it called to him. So the next day he bought a nice suit, drank a little mouthwash to freshen his breath, shaved and cleaned himself up before heading to the Viz corp building. Before he left, he tore the ad out of the paper and circled the capitalized letters with a red sharpie marker and put it in his jacket's inner chest pocket, then set out..
During Zakura's time in Karakura town he had become reunited with old and familiar faces from his past such as Ryo and had made a few new friends... Clyde being most notable. He helped train the boy. As time went on however the state of Zak's mind slowly deteriorated further and with his defeat at the hands of the arrancar Kyoshin, it slipped greatly. He couldn't bring himself to fully release against his opponent... and that nearly cost him his life. He only survived thanks to an unlikely ally... Jin himself picked Zakura up from the rubble and carried him off to tend to his wounds before spiriting away.
When Zakura finally woke, he felt a large cadre of emotions. Loneliness... anger... defeat... confusion. It was too much even for the elder to process. All of the power he had acquired... yet he couldn't bring himself to bare it all down in full force... out of fear. He had decided then and there that perhaps he himself was too dangerous for Clyde and the others. Too dangerous to even hang around. So he quietly left the city... alone and into the outlying wilderness. He spent the next five years aimlessly wandering... wondering what there was left for him.
After five long years... he found himself back at the edge of the divide between the forest and Karakura Town... much to his anguish.

Name:Abaddon
Description:
-Sealed: When sealed, Abaddon is a 36" long, black katana with a slightly deeper than normal curve. The blade features a strange, complete mirror finish which reflects light energy rather well. The tsuba consists of three pieces, one on either side of the blade and one in front of it that curve up and away two inch from the blade, then curves back down 4 inches towards Zakura's hands. The tsuka measures 2 1/2 feet long, a foot longer than normal katanas. This gives the zanpakuto greater balance and allows for much better control, improving movement, speed and accuracy. The kashira features a length of black and red chain which dangles 4 feet beneath the katana. The end of the chain features a thorn like apendage.
-Shikai:
Command: Keine Rose ohne Dornen, Abaddon (No Rose without thorns, Abaddon)
When the command is initiated, Abaddon emits a bright white light as it straighten's fully out. The light where the blade was shoots out and curves every which way around Zakura for roughly 100 yards, the light where the chain used to be wraps itself around the arm which held the zanpakuto. When the light is finished stretching out it takes the form of a very long, black and red chain, each link encircled with a razor sharp edge. At the far end of the chain a 3 foot long thorn protrudes from the ending links, ending in a sharp point. The whole chain is mentally controlled by Zakura and can contract and contort to fit his offensive and defensive needs. Finally, each link is conductive to Zakura's reitsu, allowing free flow of said reitsu through the links. This allows defense to reitsu based attacks as well as physical.
-Bankai:

Unlike most bankai, this is more of a fusion between Zakura and Abaddon. When bankai is initiated, Abaddon is impaled into Zakura's body, but doesnt come out of his back. Instead, it absorbs itself into Zakura and begins the transformation. When it is fully absorbed, Zakura's reitsu is released and intensified to the point that his skin begins to peel away and turn to ash, revealing a black skin-like substance underneath. The eyes turn into a set of bright yellow demonic eyes. His hair length remains the same but thickens and looks wilder, his canines become slightly longer and more prominent and develops claw like nails on his hands and feet. Once all of the old skin is turned to ash, one hundred chains shoots out of his back. These chains are exactly the same as the shikai except these are now a part of Zakura, as if they were tentacles. They are now also 100 yards longer, making total chain length to 200 yards.
Mask Description:
A standard looking white mask except for the many 6 inch thorn- like protrusions extend from the middle of the mask's forhead and curves up, forming a crown.

Senkou Kirite (Flash Cutter)- Zakura firmly implants the thorn at the end of Abaddon into a solid surface (ground, walls, ceiling etc) and while holding on to the other end, uses shunpo to swing himself at the opponent, using the extreme amount of speed and momentum to cut his opponent in half with the chain. (Note: In Bankai, instead of one chain coming at the opponent its 99 chains spread out for greater area of coverage.)
Shoukyoku Rein (Negative Rain)- The holes in each link of Abaddon's chain can be filled with Zakura's black and white reitsu. Once filled, he can, at will, shoot small blasts of condensed reitsu at a single or multiple targets.
Causes moderate damage per blast to weak opponents and minor damage per blast to strong targets. Used mostly as an effective distraction or to harass opponents. Uses 5 reitsu per 10 blasts, or 0.50 reitsu per blast. (Note: In Bankai the damage stays the same however reitsu usage is now only 1 reitsu per 10 blasts. Also note that in Bankai there are now 100 chains that this attack can come from, increasing area of coverage and damage build up potential significantly.
Oni Ranpu (Demon Light)- A powerful beam of black reitsu travels through the chain and out of the tip of the thorn, creating a large blast that can quickly rip through defenses and materials. Alternatively, Zakura can charge the attack for 1 extra turn, doubling its power but also draining twice the reitsu. If opponent has 50 rei more than Zakura's max, normal attack is blocked. If opponent has 100 rei more than Zakura's max, charged attack is blocked. 3 post cool down for charged attack.
Bankai:
Denka Reikon Shimekiri (Charged Soul Ender)- Zakura's most powerful attack, all chains stretch out and curve towards each other, the tips of the thorns aiming ahead and at a central point forming a ring. Each thorn gathers reitsu, then pools it into a ball that grows to a large size. When enough reitsu has been pooled and the command Fire said, the ball of energy bursts into a horrid beam. Upon impact, the energy detonates and creates an explosion that engulfs and destroys the surrounding area. This attack is extremely taxing on Zakura, taking up all of his reitsu to use, has a charge period of 2 turns and renders him unable to fight for one day. Primarily used as a last resort attack, due to the fact that it renders him unable to fight If Zakura has 100 rei more than target, then that target may be killed
Hollowized attack:
Oni Ranpu Zetsuiga- When in hollow form, Zakura's Oni Ranpu becomes much more powerful, less costly on reitsu and instead of being completely black, the center of the blast is white, giving the illusion that the black and white reitsu is struggling for dominance. Oni Ranpu Zetsuiga can be fired not only from Abaddon's thorn but also from Zakura's own hands now. If opponent has 70 rei more than Zakura's max, normal attack is blocked. If opponent has 120 rei more than Zakura's max, charged attack is blocked. 3 turn cool down for charged attack.
Passive Abilities:
Mental Zanpakuto control: Zakura is capable of controlling Abaddon with his mind, making it contort, twist, bend and perform manuevers that would normally be impossible. This degree of control is due to the extremely close bond between Zakura and Abaddon.[/u][/b]
