Miwa had been training to the best of her ability in spite of the bandages that now restricted her movements. They were a pain and a hindrance to her, a reminder of how she just had to intervene in everything that came her way. The past year she had not only been in a brawl with one of these so called Arrancar calling himself Abel Nox, who had nearly crippled her at his own amusement, she had also fallen prey to an Adjucha and subdued a horde of hollow that just seemed to rain down upon Karakura.
Yeah, that was just her luck alright, and now she was suffering from her unusual habit of meeting Hollow, which had increased significantly after meeting that Clyde, who served as a magnet for the weird and supernatural. Oh, yeah that figured. Take this morning for example, she was just conditioning at the oh so mysterious manga shop when one of those Soul Reapers just came walking in. It was then that Miwa used her superior cat like reflexes and slinked out without being noticed.
Score one for Miwa, score 0 for Clyde and that weird dog of a Shinigami who kept sniffing everything as though he was about to claim his territory. It wouldn't surprise her if he actually did start marking the shelves of comics. After all, he was probably one of Clyde's friends, so it came as no surprise to her. She'd just have to swat the Shinigami with a newspaper if he found her secret stash of manga she hid behind the bookcase, out of Clyde's knowledge.
Sighing to herself, she glanced up to see where she had been mindlessly wandering this whole time. The large school building loomed over the trees surrounding it, naught but an old memory to her. It was only about a year ago that she was a upperclassmen at the school, as she had only met Clyde then. This was back before the school had been destroyed by the recent influx of Hollow activity. The superintendents at the school, marked it off as unstable ground that cause the supports of the school to collapse, a situation very similar to that when her mom had died. Now the school looked as though it had never been damaged to begin with, even additional buildings had been added with school funding.
While Clyde was putting up with the Shinigami, she'll just wander these halls to see how much has changed since she last attended this learning institution. Life was much simpler back then, even in spite of the jeering of her classmates as she tried to hide her uncontrollable abilities.

As Miwa walked into the halls of the school, she would see that it was relatively busy on the inside. Class had just ended and most of the students were moseying about doing after school activities or meeting up with friends. Among the students there was a short young man, Henry, who was closing up his locker and gathering his books. “Act, vhat a pain.” He stuffed book after book into his small bag, way more books than most kids were carrying around. Unfortunately the quincy was way more behind in his studies especially thanks to this long absence of the school being opened. Henry was one to focus on his work and studies for the quincy as opposed to his work and studies for school, causing much problem now that graduation was rearing its ugly head for the junior. If he didn’t study this crap there was no doubt he would be in trouble. The last thing he needed was Ryoko to beat him up for failing out of high school.
As he zipped the bag up he muttered in an accented voice, very strong hints of german were in it. “Eet vas better vhen the school vas closed.” Sighing, he hoisted the heavy bag over his right shoulder acting like it weighed nothing at all. However, it was incredibly heavy and despite trying to hide this fact if one viewed him they could tell he was struggling holding the bag with only one hand. “Oof…Hyurgh…gaah” The obvious sounds of struggle escaped between the boys gritted teeth as he headed down the hall.
Passing Miwa, his eyes glanced over to the taller girl; he vaguely recognized her as one of the upper classman who graduated last year; Most of his attention was on holding his books, so he didn't really noticed her bandaged injuries at first. He tried to maneuver around her with his bag but was having a bit of difficulty with the other students surrounding them “Pahdon me, uhh…” He hesitated as he tried walking around her with the heavy bag, to himself he muttered “Ack, how do they say eet again,” then he returned his speech back towards the older girl, “Vight, pardon me Senpoy? could you please move, I need to get through.” Was that how Ryoko said it? He felt like that it was incorrect. Either way he stood patiently waiting for Miwa to hopefully step aside before the weight of his backpack took him to the ground.
