It was all too familiar to him...the smells, the sights, the sounds....it had been sometime since Kessin laid eyes on Karakura town. He had gone north for the anniversary of an event he had gone through...an event that left death in its wake but kept the world safe. It took him too long to return...
He had slipped back into the city through the Industrial District, wading through Machining shops and businesses under the cover of night. He walked around, seemingly without aim for a good hour or so, not caring where he ended up. Kessin wasn't in a gigai so none of the few living humans still outside could see the pale man walk past. Thoughts ran through his mind...he was sure the guys in the Manga shop wouldn't understand his absence. Really...he didn't care. He did what he felt he had to do and he was back now...that should be all that mattered.
"Couldn't resist.....could you?" Abadon's unique and familiar voice rang through Kessin's head. It had a bit of a cynical ring to it. "You knew I was going to venture back here... I have unfinished business." Is all Kessin would reply before shunpo'ing to a rooftop nearby. It was a rather tall building, one that gave away an incredible view of the town. Here is where Zakura's story in this town begins again.

'Nice view... Is it not?'
Genno said as when Zakura flash stepped he flash stepped infront of Genno. He had been there for a while, just sitting, looking, watching the day waste away. It had been a long day, he had started to form the group, like what he said to Shiro. Genno didn't think that Shiro would understand, or believe what he was doing was going to be any success, he thought that Shiro just found it stupid. 'The clouds look great... It's just at night i want them to piss off... You only get to see the stars once every night...' Genno started to make just a friendly conversation. He didn't think that Zakura had a problem with that. And if Zakura intened to fight, Genno wouldn't fight back. He was tired of the fighting. He can't just handel it at the moment. He was too busy gathering people. 'Hows Ryo going...' Genno asked, as he had been wondering about him, and what has been going on. 'To be honest i wouldn't mind talking to Ryo... I haven't in a while... And i would like to apologize to him and all, since he is a really nice guy... He deserves respect. And i think after i tell him what i am doing he would respect it... I know he wont care, and he wont doing anything about it... He would just not care...' |

Zakura simply walked up to the edge of the building, seemingly ignoring the man who was occupying the roof. After a minute passed, Kessin spoke. "Gennosuke Satsujin was the name correct? If you wish to talk to Ryo, go talk to him then. I haven't been around for awhile so naturally I haven't seen him." As his words came out of his mouth, it was apparent that his speech was a bit strained...as if he were in some sort of pain. The pale complexion he had before he left was still there. To the casual onlooker, it would appear as though Kessin were very ill.
"What has been happening here lately? I've heard no news come from Karakura during my travels." He inquired to Genno but always kept his gaze on the town below. He truly missed the action the town brought him since he first came here oh so long ago. He then looked up at the clouds in the sky. "Change is coming..."

'I am aware of the change.... Since i am part of the puzzel... Genno said, as in a way he was. Creating the group who will alie with any and protect what is most loved... Life. Genno grabbed a smoke out from his pants. Genno didn't look it but he was out of his gigai. The mod soul Kei had been out and about, since Genno promised him freedom like the good old days.
'I would ask for you to join. But i already know the answer is no...
he said not asking Zak about his pale complextion. As that matter was for him, and not to do with Genno.

Kessin's eyes remained opened and ever watchful of the brightly lit city but his ears took in every syllable that escaped Genno's mouth. "Join what?"

'We can all see how corupt the shinigami are. Trying destroy what have spawned from them.... And in the way they don't care if human beings die... Take nonkos puppet for instance inside that highschool. Using the heine kidou to light everything up...
Genno paused to take a draw from his smoke. Ashing it on his palm. Keephis head up, looking at Zak as he continued once more.
'I am gathering people from factions all over. If they are vizard, quincy....human, ex-shinigami... Onigami, arrancar. To create unit teams. To supress the shinigami and the next war to come. A united front... To protect the things we love. And others lives. Becuase that is one thing many are afraid of....' He said as he stood up. The clouds hovered over as if it was going to rain. The air smelt moist and he could feel the coldness. 'We are called... the Religion.... And we need support. We lend our servises to those who need it. And i wouldn't mind having some support from you.... And if there is anyone you reccomened please. Let me know...'

Zakura pondered for a moment before giving a reply. "A fascinating idea. Mingling everyone of different species into one mold... in a perfect world, this would be ideal, there would be no need for shinigami or hollow at all. Balance would always be kept at the optimum. However this world is nowhere near perfection... Humans are feasted upon by Hollow, who are then purified by shinigami. Shinigami that fall are reborn human and so on and so forth, creating this cycle we call life... break the cycle, disrupt the balance... then life ceases."
Kessin took a moment before he continued. "Balance is disrupted when a single entity or a group decide that this whole thing is just a glorified power struggle over realms and other entities. An untold truth of the Shinigami/Onigami war was that the balance was nearly destroyed, life along with it. Life would have ended simply because a few believed corruption existed amongst the ranks. Now you wish to try and recruit from prey, predators and predators of predators with the mission of suppressing the shinigami? So they can't do what they were meant to do...purify hollow?" Kessin took a deep breath. "I shall watch this endeavor but be warned... if the balance should be threatened, I shall have to intervene to the best of my ability to correct the imbalance, savvy?" He once heard the term savvy used in a pirate movie and liked how it sounded. It means understand.

'I stand by your choosing, i agree with the purification of hollows, and that is what will happen still... But you didn't listen... I didn't include the hollows into the mold... I didn't say that the savage hollows will be associated only those who are willing to make the balance and supress both hollows and lower the gaurd of the Shinigami...' Genno explain furthur since there was both logic on each side. 'Hollows are not the main target through the eyes of the Shingami, it's everyone... I have been there an no the story... Those who are willing to participate in a perfect world, or bettered said a refined world of more of a peaceful nature without a second on comming war like 400 years ago... The war that happened 400 years ago will rise again, but with this group it can be supressed to no war, and still the balance of life continues...' He could see that Zakura stood by on the idea, but at the same time didn't. He reminded him of the time when he was spectating, looking on what was happening, and intervening where possible.
'I thank you for your honest response... We will have three units at the moment. Three members under a leader. If you know anyone capable of any tasks, or recommend somone to be a benefit. I wouldn't mind if you let me know...'
Genno paused for a few seconds, as he lastly replied about his name. Surely it had been a while in the conversation when he mentioned it but he wanted to let Zak know.
'And if you hear the name around... Shade Jin would be me.'

Zakura shot a glare at Genno. "Shinigami duty is the purification of souls. In the hundreds of years as a captain, none strayed under my eye. Do not mix shinigami with those who played politics...they are not the same..." He stopped for a bit for a breath of air before continuing. "I watched many die for the duty they believed in long before war was even a thought in anyone's mind. This was so even during the war. Both Onigami and Shinigami continued to purify hollows. It was the politics that was the poison."
Zakura's eyes shifted back to the city. "Try the humans first....there are always some that are willing to protect the city regardless of who fights along side. The other species...well...good luck with that."

'Well you are the one who said things are chaning. It had been a while since you were a captain... And out of us both, i am the most recent captain that stands here today... Alot has changed since you have been there... Only eyes can tell what is what...'
He said as he got up, brushing himself off, flicking his ciggerette off the rooftop. 'And thank you for the heads up... I will talk to Ryo first though...'
Genno walked up to the side next to Zakura. 'Thanks for your time Mr. Kessin... I will see you around... Until next time.' and as he said his final words, he stepped off the ledge. Exiting the industrial district to the manga shop sign that could be seen in the distance...

Ah your back Zakura Kessin, and that guy moved away so i could have a moment of your time. You don't mind do you? He would say as he had seemingly appeared after that Gennosuke having left. Not saying anything else as he waited for a response from the man he had spoken to.

"Hmm.... " Kessin continued to look out over the city. He recognized the voice behind him. "...It indeed has been awhile...Shiro." It was rather surprising to Kessin that Jin actually sought him out but he didn't show that.
Zakura turned to face Jin. "I don't mind at all...take as many moments as you need...so, what brings you out here on such a fine night?" His face hid the inner turmoil he was dealing with. "Let me out... let me out!" Abaddon was stirring, its echoed, demonic voice rang through Kessin's head...it was like trying to hold back a volcanic eruption with the palm of his hands.

Nothing in particular i just decided to see you as you seemingly returned to this so called town. So i wonder, what did that little guy want to talk about? He generally is kind of not thinking. Just seemed a little interesting that he would contact you as you returned really. He would speak with his eyes still not really opened nor really looking at Kessin.
Wanna play a game? You get to choose location and time if you feel like it. He would say as his gaze now was upon Kessin, and waitin for his response.

A smile would smear across Kessin's face. "He's recruiting for some sort of group... its of no interest." He waited for a few moments, thinking. "Hmm... here and now is fine by me. If you have a more suitable place, feel free to suggest away."

Sounds just like him to be booring and annoying maybe should go and kill him. Maybe not sounds like i would need to find him again and thats annoyin. So go follow me and you we will get somewhere else than this place as it seems to get crowded at times you know. Might be more interesting if you come along to. He would simply start walking away after that towards the location he had been talking about waiting for Kessin to follow him.
