It was late at night, around eleven. It was odd to see a little girl walking around the park at these hours but she couldn’t get any rest. Thanks to her parents up all night fighting and screaming at each other, this girl couldn’t get any sleep at all. She sighed a little and kicked the rocks at her feet, she knew well enough where she was going, she could walk there with her eyes closed.
She finally reached the swing set and smiled softly. She took off her house slippers, in only her sleeping wear; she ran over to the swing sets and sat down. The set began to swing as she pushed her body. She closed her eyes softly, and hummed a little. It wasn’t cold out but it did have a slight chill to it, just how Fi liked it.
If she had known where Autumn or Clyde was she would have gone for them but it was so late, she had no idea where her parent like figures would be at this hour. Autumn did say Clyde was giving her a place to stay but she had no idea where Clyde stayed. She sighed slightly, thinking about all this. She couldn’t help but feel there was more to Autumn and Clyde than she saw, but she wasn’t going to let it bother her, nor was she going to bring this up to the two.
Her mind drifted to Zak, when she left the house he was fast asleep, or so she thought. She had snuck out of the house plenty of times when she thought Zak was sleeping but turned around to see him following her but tonight her older brother was not following her, he truly had been asleep when she left the house.
It wasn’t hard to sneak out. Her parents weren’t in the living room arguing, they were about to go to sleep when they got into a fight so the yelling was all taking place in their room which was opposite from the Zak and Fi’s room. So Fi just checked on her brother snuck out of her room, through the kitchen and out the front door, from there she strolled across the street and began walking towards the park, which wasn’t far from her house.
She sighed a little and opened her eyes, starring up at the bright moon that gave her the ability to see where she was going tonight. The swing set was squeaky and if Zak was here, Fi knew he would say that metal needs some WD-40. Fi sniffled a little as she felt her eyes water up a little. She was lonely…

The constant humming of the subway station filled her ears as Oun sat on a bench awaiting for the new train to arrive. Already having a mobile device in her hand she seemingly was trying to reach someone. 'Tsk can't believe mom locked the door and knowing her escapades she'll be gone all freakin night and uncles on vacation so fat chance he'll come back anytime soon.' She thought enraged by the fact she wasn't here by choice the train soon showed up and she decided to go on wounding up at the park exit taking a shortcut to a nice hotel she cut across the park.
On route she would see a girl lightly swinging back and forth at first the phrase "not my problem" appeared in her mind but as she tried to continue walking every single guilt ridden excuse appeared in her mind until she could take it no longer and turned around. Walking up to the girl she would cast a small shadow over her as she tilted her head down to look at her more clearly.
"Oii kid whatcha doin out here at this hour this isn't exactly the most convenient time to be playing hooky." She asked the girl really rather unsure how she would go about this Oun didn't consider herself a good parent or a person who was too thrilled about going to the police about this.

As a shadow loomed over the young girl, many thoughts raced through her head. Maybe it was Zak. No, if it was Zak he would have sat in the swing next to her. As the woman spoke Fi looked up, her innocent eyes scanning over the woman that stood in front of her. Her mind raced, she wasn’t a very social person, and although she tried to befriend people she was a creep…well in her own mind. For instance she had “imaginary friends” as Zak called them, and no one else could see these imaginary friends but her and Clyde. Clyde wasn’t imaginary…he didn’t seem imaginary. The food man saw Clyde, didn’t he?
Fi thought of what to say to the woman. She partially wondered why the woman was even bothering her, it was late at night. Fi’s spine shook what if she was a kidnapper?! Fi laughed in her head, no! Her dearest Autumn would find her and they’d be safe and sound all again, so Fi saw no harm in talking to this stranger. Stanger Danger…haha
“Maybe I’m out here…for the same reason you are?” The eight year old said, her voice came out like a squeak. Yeah so, she was a little scared.
Because she had taken her sandals off she slowly let the swing come to a stop. If she had stopped with her feet…owie, all those splinters. She’d surely have to find someone else to take them out…so it was best not to stop using her feet. As she came to a stop she smiled up at the woman before her.
It felt a little awkward so Fi kicked a few wood chips at her feet and finally said, “I’m out here because I couldn’t sleep. I have a very…” She thought of the words to say, she didn’t like telling people how her parents really were. Behind the anger and fists…they were sweet people. But wait…when had Fi ever see them happy? Possibly that one time they took Zak and her to a zoo. They didn’t fight, and they held hands and smiled. Yeah, they were happy then. “Loud household. “ She finally said after a great deal of thinking about it.
She made sure that her shirt stayed down so the woman wouldn’t see the healing bruises and cuts from the last fight. Her arms weren’t sore anymore from being drug across the carpet but she still had a nasty carpet burn. It was really hard to hide, she barely hid it from Autumn and Clyde last time she saw them. She was sure Clyde saw the pain she was in. Although, the pain was almost gone now, she could pull off a convincing smile.

Oun gave a rather frustrated glare at the girl hesitant observation she was clearly looking at her as if she was some sort of criminal though it was the truth technically it was just something she loathed to be reminded of. Quickly however she retracted the look by sighing and leaning her lucky cap over her head to regain a more calmer composure then when the girl spoke her words seemed more adult then Oun could imagine and almost snarky if she wasn't so soft spoken.
"I wouldn't be so sure of that but I'll give ya the doubt of it." She replied to her previous statement but as she examined her lower she saw her rather uncovered feet which were rather cut badly with splinters edged rather deep within her. Oddly she didn't panic at that fact obviously this child was running from something Oun was puzzled if she should get involved with this girl it could wound up in alot more trouble if she was caught with her. Yet backing away would just be cruelty as much as she's done wrong even she wasn't that cold hearted.
Her second statement was a baffling one or just needed to be deciphered she went away from her house just because it was loud? Did she get scared that someone was in their house? Were her folks scolding her? Or was it simply the neighborhood howling dog keeping her awake. The possibilities endless but the truth of the matter was the girl wasn't being forthcoming and Oun doubted that would change. Not that it was any of her business to know problems but it was to at least get her to shelter as a human being.
Sighing Oun tried to smile it turned out to be a rather odd grin. "Listen it isn't safe out here at this time of the day even if your place is loud this times could be dangerous with beasts and guys that would take you away forever. If you want I could take you home to yer folks or the police." She stated scratching the back of her head and in a rather monotone voice till she could no longer bear it and reverted back to her ordinary voice at the near end of the sentence.

Fi looked at the woman carefully, giggling slightly when she spoke. She leaned back a little and allowed herself to swing a little. She closed her eyes and breathed slowly, finally speaking. “You know…if I wasn’t me, I’d think you’d be crazy.” She laughed a little and leaned far back, almost looking as if she was going to fall out of the swing.
“But since I am me, I can gladly say…” She sat up and opened her eyes, staring into the woman’s eyes. “I know these ‘beasts’ you speak of.” She stopped swinging a little. “My imaginary friend, at least my brother says so. It’s nice to know Clyde and I aren’t the only people who see them.” She pursed her lips together, her forehead wrinkling a little in a confused thought. “Although, for all I could know, you could be another imaginary friend and so could Clyde. But if Clyde isn’t an imaginary friend, this means that nothing I see has come from my imagination. The creatures with the mask are real…” She slightly looked up at the woman. “Aren’t they?” She really didn’t need an answer, she’d always believe they were real because if she didn’t that’d be she’d have to think Autumn was fake, she wasn’t willing to let go of the only person who loved her.
She tapped her feet lightly on the ground. Take her away forever? It sounded kind of nice. Sometimes…she thought her parents were scarier than the monsters that lurked in the night sky. She looked up at the moon, baking in its rays, with a soft smile on her face. “They don’t scare me…” she whispered.
“Not anymore, at least; the people no one else can see.” She looked at the ground, her face still soft but serious. “My folks…parent figures…aren’t much help from the monsters. Even if you did take me back home, I’d just sneak out again. The police would then take me to my parents…where I would…just sneak out again.” She looked up at the moon again. “I don’t know how but…the monsters can’t hurt me. They’ve tried before but something stops them…I don’t remember much but the monster will try to hurt me but can’t then people in black come save me, or my Guardian Angel comes to rescue me…and then I black out and wake back up.” She sighed.

The girl broke into a light laughing at Oun's attempt at reasoning with her but seemingly she stated something along the lines if she was normal she'd think I was crazy. A small twitch of irritation appeared at that sentence though her smile was still there. 'Eh why you little...This what I get for being nice I'm the most sane person you'd ever meet!' She thought confidently about herself though some people would disagree and harshly at that.
Then it came creatures with masks, imaginary friends, people in black and many other things she couldn't fathom understanding. 'hoo boy' she thought 'Here I thought she said I was the loony bird hah... ' Oun thought quietly as she stared blankly at the girl trying not to comprehend all the things she was saying yet none of them ringed a bell except the imaginary friends she had seen a few ghosts here and there but mostly left them alone. "I haven't seen any of those monsters you're talking about little one but I was mostly thinking of stray dogs and pedophiles that could very well be as much trouble as any monster." She stated with a rather distressed tone a bit worried the girl hadn't thought of those kinds of troubles.
The fact still stood this wasn't going anywhere even if she forced her to go to her parents or the police she'd just run away again. What was left to do, Oun couldn't let her stay here so she had to...No it's too risky if she was caught with her she'd be in the deep in the fire. Yet what choice was there only one really.
"So what do you intend to do about your problem of being at home then?" Oun decided to ask the question that was plaguing the girl the most probable it wasn't an easy answer and she could just refuse to answer it all together.

Fi pursed her lips together as the woman denied seeing any of the monsters. Guess her and Clyde really were alone. Fi giggled a little, playing off the embarrassment and looked up at the woman. “Imaginary friends, it’s all they are.” She lied, swinging back and forth a little as she tried to think of why she would tell a complete and total stranger about something many people made fun of her for.
She quickly thought about what the woman said again. What was a pedo…file? Oh! Pet-o-file. Who the heck would want to pet a file? What was so interesting about a file? Files aren’t fluffy; they don’t have tails and smile up at you like animals. Suddenly the thought came to Fi’s mind. What if there were some files that were fluffy and had tails and smiled at you! No…no…files don’t do that.
Stray dog? Dogs don’t hurt people! She thought about the dog she tried taking home when she was younger. It never hurt her. How would a dog hurt you? Maybe he would yell at you, or hit you? No, no, no…she was thinking of her parents. Think of a dog…she simply shrugged her shoulders. She couldn’t see how a stray dog could hurt you.
Fi looked down at the ground a little, sighing softly, kicking up some wood pieces. “I don’t like being home. My parents constant bickering gives me a nasty head pain.” She said softly. “It won’t go away either. I’ll try to sleep but the pain in my head just makes me toss and turn until I fall out of my bed.”
She clutched the metal on the swing a little tighter. “I’ll go home.” She whispered softly. “I’m not running away.” She giggled a little. “That would be silly of me.” She looked up at the soft moon. “No matter how much I hate where I am, I have to stay. If I ran away I’d be leaving my brother all by himself, to fend for himself day and night. He protects me, I protect him. It’s how we work.” She smiled softly thinking about the many times her brother took a hit for her or stopped her from interfering with their parents. How many times had he made her dinner when she hadn’t eaten in days? How many times did he take care of her when she got sick? She owed him her life, she wasn’t about to leave him behind.
She looked down at her dirty feet and pursed her lips once more, thinking of how to clean them so she wouldn’t leave foot prints when she snuck in. Water hose, that’d work. She then looked over at the girl. “Why are you out here?”

Oun listened rather carefully as she explained her predicament and of her brother whom the girl loved dearly it sort of reminded her of the days when her grandfather was alive. Days when she would awake to the old man in the recliner, taking her to places she never thought existed from casino's to their amusement parks depending on his winnings of course always stating those words she held dearly to herself but hardly shared with many.
"It's wonderful you have someone like that..." She could only reply to the girl as grimace overtook her face knowing that he was gone and she'd have to live on without having to rely on anyone. Though it would be wise to warn her about such attachments should the unthinkable happen to her Oun knew that was something only the girl could ask of her or closest companion and really shouldn't be thought of after all in Oun's mind this girls been through enough.
Though her question somewhat gave Oun an odd smile. "Me? Oh, I've just been locked out of the house by my deadbeat mom and going to a hotel which isn't far from here. So I can stay there though I don't have any money on me either so I'm just going to...eheh borrow one of their rooms." She lengthy explained and honestly for some reason she hated lying to this girl though she didn't mention about how she was going to borrow a room.

Fi looked at the woman before her slowly. She blinked a few times and looked down at her feet once more. Truly, she gave her brother too much credit. If it wasn’t for the fact that if he didn’t take care of Fi, she’d die of starvation or abuse, Fi was pretty sure her brother wouldn’t take care of her. And also, Zak knew if he didn’t take care of her, she wouldn’t take care of him. In a way, Fi forced him to be her care taker.
But she didn’t like thinking about it like that. She liked to think that her brother actually loved her. And she was sure that somewhere he did. He raised her when she was an infant, if he didn’t love her; he would have let her die. But she wasn’t going to lie; she did have someone to take her away from the pain. Three years ago or so, she had met this person. A beautiful person indeed, although, Fi would not tell this stranger of Autumn…she was an “imaginary friend.” And Fi was slightly protective of Autumn, not wanting anyone else to have her.
As the woman spoke Fi was lost a little. She had been to a hotel once before when her mother was trying to divorce her dad but then the next day decided against it. She blinked a little. Her mother had to use a card to get in the room. How on earth was this lady going to get a key?
“How are you going to…’barrow’ a room?” Fi asked, drawling out the word barrow showing her she knew what she was planning on doing.
Fi knew that things were illegal but sometimes you had to do it. She stole a lot from markets and she ran from cops once or twice. Her brother was much worse though. He’d been arrested before. She remembered the beating he got that night when their parents picked him up from the police station. Fi tried to help but he told her he disserved it. What on earth did he do that disserved a beating?
Fi looked at the woman with a soft smile; she’d offer the girl to come over to her house. She had an extra mattress and Fi would even sleep on the couch if she had to. But her house was nasty, the room she shared with Zak, she hardly was able to keep it clean. She bit her lips and pushed her eyebrows forward, thinking.
It was probably clear she was thinking of a way to help this stranger. Ah the innocence of a child. Helping whoever they can. It was more the size of Fi’s heart. She loved her parents and loved her brother, she loved everything. Nothing was wrong in her eyes. She had it pretty good compared to some. Her smile wasn’t faked, although her pain was there. She was a happy girl…

A wry smile appeared on Oun's face as she heard the girl ask the meaning behind her words Oun lightly waved her finger in a teasing motion. "Easy but normally when someone asked that I'd lie and say I knew someone there but you kid...You get to me so I'll letcha on a little secret of mine since you've been quite honest with me." Oun stated as she walked infront of the girl's sight until she reached into her pocket and pulled out her phone and showed it to the girl. "Ya know to do something that like what I'm about to do I'd have to bring all sorts of equipment, make a whole buncha security checks to make sure the room wasn't going to be available anytime soon, and just make the whole problem more hassle than its worth." Oun explained usually there were so many details to actually occupying a room so much stuff just to disable it's security and guarantee no surprises when she fell asleep.
"Yet I have this little power which is just so darn useful especially since it affects all our modern devices just watch this phone." She stated as she veered her eyes down to the phone but then lightly closed them as if concentrating. For a few moments nothing happened until the phone started to repeatedly beeped so the owner would notice that it's battery was low then as soon as it did the beeping stopped and a dark brown corrosion would seep into the phone slowly corroding the outside as well until it plainly read "Single Lost" then went off all together.
"Hehe see? Now imagine what that little device on the doors would stand? I could easily jam it so even it's designated key card wouldn't work until I wanted to open it of course." She boasted though it just dawned on her normal people couldn't see the corrosion that's why mostly they couldn't figure out what was wrong with the devices she sabotaged.
'Ah crap...Why did I blow off everything like that when she can't even see it...Can she?' She thought for a moment scratching her head in frustration waiting for the girls reaction if it would be one of surprise or saying "Hey your phone died".

Fi could tell the woman was opening up a little more, which made Fi a little happier. She liked it when people opened up to her…it made her feel kind of special. She listened carefully to the woman and watched her take out a phone. They barely knew her and the stranger trusted her with a secret? Well, Fi wasn’t about to complain, she liked it when people trusted her. She prided herself in her trustworthiness.
As the phone started beeping Fi got a confused look on her face and got off the swing, looking down at the phone as she stood on her tippy toes. The battery was low. Suddenly she saw the brown…weird stuff enter the phone and she took a step back, fear and interest covered her face as the phone lost service.
Was this woman one of them? Another imaginary friend? She seemed human, she acted human. She must be human, but this human had weird powers! What humans had powers?! Fi thought, Maybe I have powers! But the thought quickly left her mind. She was just a poor, little child. No way she could have powers.
So this woman would easily be able to get into the hotel rooms. Interesting…interesting. Fi looked at the woman then the phone then the woman again. “That’s really cool.” Fi’s voice said, a little weaker than usual. She noticed this and shook her head; she had nothing to be afraid of.
“How do you get that weird stuff all over the phone? Is it dangerous?” Fi asked, staring at the phone, raising her hand as if she wanted to touch it but was too scared.

'Well well isn't that a trip she can see it...Come to think of it I didn't think anyone else could but this girl jeez I guess it's usually just those who've been in the rough that get'em.' She calmly thought about the girls amazement at Oun's gift but silently she also wondered if this girl had any powers herself she didn't seem to by the fact she'd probable run around half town trying to show it off like kids do...Ah actually she doesn't seem that hyper that's something I would do at her age if I had it
"The stuff itself can't harm ya infact I can only infect things that have materials inside em like wood or steel, though that's not all." She stated with a smirk on her face then just as she veered her eyes downward "SCHING" A small blade appeared from the top of the cell phone though it extended from the cell phone in a rather unorthodox manner proving that it wasn't incorporated in the phones original design.
"I can also change its structure depending if there's enough materials inside ta do so." She stated quite proudly then the blade quickly receded into the phone disappearing from sight and covering up the odd opening whence it came making it appear as if it was never there.
Though when it did Oun clutched her chest and squinted her eyes showing she was in a bit of agony. A vision overtook her sight of the phone in hand opened up dripping with the black ichor from her nightmares. Each of the phone dials emerged from it's center with the wires that connected them, it soon lopsided itself to use them as it's legs then the phone blade which she had receded emerged again this time it appeared to be serve as it's horn. The screen cracked into two and opening what seemed to be a small mouth but despite it's size the small beast let out wail that almost sounded like a dying rabbit then the vision finally ceased. Oun was finally back to reality and starred at the girl with a face of utter horror.
She then tried her best to smile once more. "Though...It has just a few...side effects nothing major." Oun tried to brush off temporary discomfort mostly she could because her dreams were much worse at least this time she didn't have to watch anyone get killed by those monstrous things.

Fi eagerly listened to the woman speak. This was very interesting to her. She’d never seen anything so amazing like this. She smiled slightly and jumped back when the blade emerged out of it. With wide, curious eyes she stared at the phone. She didn’t know if she should be frightened of the powers or not, but she only found it intriguing. Who else had powers like this? She slightly looked at her hands. Did she have powers like that?
Fi almost screamed when the woman clutched her chest. She stepped forward, uncertain of what she should do. With wide frightened eyes she watched the woman go through something odd. What was this? She meekly and hesitantly reached up to grab the woman’s hand as her eyes were squinted. She tried to be as comforting as possible, a part of her felt she shouldn’t be touching this woman but Fi was scared, she didn’t know what else to do. With frightened, worried eyes she stared up at the woman.
When she said the powers had side effects Fi’s eyes slightly widened and her fingers slowly slipped off the woman’s hand. Fi gulped and took a step back, with wide eyes she stared up at the woman. Did all these powers have side effects? She thought to a time when her mother threw a bunch of sharp objects at Fi and Zak. Fi had hugged Zak in fear and the next thing she knew she was in her bed with Zak holding her hand, neither of them had a single cut on them. Then she thought of when a masked monster tried attacking her, she bent down and put her arms over her face to protect herself, the creature brought his claw down but it stopped right in front of her face. She didn’t understand why but she didn’t have a chance to ask, next thing she knew she was waking up, laying on the grass of the park. Fi laughed in her head a little. She was just a little eight year old girl, why would she have powers?
Fi looked at the woman and softly smiled at her, her eyes looked at her with slight pain. Finally she inhaled deeply. “I’m Fuyona-ko.” She said softly, looking down, not enjoying her name. Fuyona (Fiona) meaning Unwanted and Ko meaning child. Her family always called her Fuyona-ko. Never Fi, never Fuyona. She sighed softly and kicked a little at the ground beneath her. “Call me Fi though.” She said her face brightening as she sort of waited for the woman to give Fi a name.

The girl seemed a tad stressed at what just transpired yet in her opinion she took the whole revelation well as she half expected her to run away in terror. Only though because that's what she would done if she was in her shoes for Oun really never thought herself to be brave.
She tilted her head at the girl as she introduced herself this gave Oun a rather frustrated smug seemingly not wanting to say her name. "My...Name...ugh" She muttered sighing seemingly not wanting to say it. Yet she knew it was beyond that point as the girl would probably be upset at her reluctance if she hesitated for too long. "My name is...Ounriuun Nakamura just for the love of bad names call me Oun alright Fi?" She stated rather hating her name was literally meaning "Only one" and sounded like that in English if it was spoken and if put into English name structure her full name would translate to "Only One in the village." an odd coincidence.
She put her phone back in her pocket even though it no longer worked she could still scheme the warranty out of it since she didn't even have it for a year yet. Then she looked down at the girl wondering what she could do now that they knew each other did their relationship become closer? She didn't know it was hard enough just to hang around a kid you had no blood relation with it just seemed awkward. The thought had come across her mind if she should if she screwed up it could be dangerous even hell on both her mind and record.
"Listen Fi...Do you want to come with me just for today since you don't wanna go home today we'll stay in the place for only the half day then return early so your folks wouldn't even know you were gone." Though she just stated that Oun was clearly having trouble deciding if this was a good idea of course it wasn't but just leaving the girl here even though she stated she'd be fine just felt like leaving a kitten amongst a pack of wolves.

Fi smiled when the woman said what her name was. Fi closed her eyes and smiled widely. “Nice to meet you, Oun.” She knew how it felt to hate your name. “My last name is Mori.” She said, seeming to have a hard time pronouncing Mori. She didn’t often say her last name for the rep her parents had. No one liked them much. They drank and drank, fought, smoked. They looked like crap and their house was a mess. No to mention Zak was a horrid kid. Always fought, smoked and drank as well. Fi didn’t want to drink or smoke and hated to fight people. She was the white sheep among the black and although she was the white, good one, people saw her living with the black, bad ones so believed by glancing over the herd that all of them were black.
Fi looked up at the moon then back down at Oun as she spoke. She thought about it for a second. “You’re not comfortable with it.” She whispered. “You are most likely my parents will turn you in? No…” She whispered even quieter. “My parents never wanted me.” This time barely above a whisper. “They enjoy every second while I’m gone. If I disappeared, they’d never turn you in. Why do you think I can sneak out without worry? My parents don’t care and as long as I’m back before the morning is gone Zak won’t come looking for me.”
Fi looked down; she didn’t often tell people the true nature of her family. She knew people; they would try to take her from her family. She couldn’t do that. Zak and she loved their parents. Even though they weren’t the best…there was still love.
“If you don’t want to take me in tonight, then don’t. It is a nice attempt but not comfortable if you feel weird about it.” She said stuttering on a few words, hard to pronounce for her.

Oun merely sighed as she heard of the tragic tale that Fi was unfolding to her it wasn't because she had heard it all before in fact Fi's probable the worst case she's ever seen even when she saw Oun wasn't too thrilled about the idea. "Gods your perceptive yet..." She paused for a bit as if taking careful consideration into what she was going to say next it was her first time ever doing something remotely similar to this.
"My offer still stands, Fi sorry to say i'm not going to remedy your problems now or in the future quite frankly that's well beyond me..." She spoke plainly and paused for a bit obviously troubled by that fact she didn't have the confidence that she could raise a child or getting custody of her which in her mind sounded more blown out of proportions so she could only deal with it.
"But what I can do is offer you a place to recuperate yourself or a ear to listen when your in trouble like today. I can't take away your problems but I can always by you time so you can sort them out yourself." She stated this time with a gusto as to firmly establish she had someone to turn to if this problem ever repeated itself it was hard for her though. Not that she didn't mean any of this it was just hard for to be generous but with this girl or perhaps children she seems to sweeten she couldn't imagine of doing this for someone her own age or older.
"We maybe will grow apart when your grow older but were people who were given life by chance and that's gotta mean something so...Whatada say?" She finally finished trying her best to smile then offering her hand half expecting her to smack it away in anger. What did she know about true pain? Oun had avoided it most of her life due to her free lifestyle with lack of restraint due to her folks inactivity so what could she understand someone who was repressed by her parents nothing but all that aside she could just try.

Fi smiled softly up at the woman, her eyes no longer had the eyes of a overly happy eight year old but of a much older woman, almost like an older woman talking to a younger woman, giving her advice. “I don’t have a problem. Saying that there is a problem says that there is something to be resolved. There is nothing to be fixed with my family.” She said softly. “I was placed with them for a reason. I’m happy this way.”
She stared at her hand, “When you’ve never had grace in your life…you cling to it. I don’t think we’ll be separating as I get older; you’re grace in my eyes.” With that said she gently grabbed the Oun’s hand, accepting staying with her tonight.
As she shook the wood chips off her feet and slipped her sandals on, she kept thinking about something. It was bothering her a little. She had to ask…with big wide, child like eyes she looked up at Oun.
“Why would someone want to pet a file?”

Oun became rather distressed at Fi's view that nothing was wrong with her family. 'The way she makes it sound I'd be more comfortable living with wolves...' She silently thought but manages to maintain her smile while the girl grabs her hand in acceptance to her offer, she calmly wondered was she really successful though she said that Oun was a grace but that thought made Oun think was she helping the girl deal with this problem or prolonging it. Oh well things like this don't get settled in a day anyhow.
As they began to talk hand in hand Fi brought forth a peculiar question one that Oun paused for a moment."Pet...a File? Who would be that dumb?" Was her first response but then after thinking for a moment it became clear to her what she really asked for."Oh you're talking about the pedophile...Ugh...um...it's..." She appeared rather upset about having to explain what exactly a pedophile was to Fi though she couldn't give the blank description of it mostly because of Fi's age.
"Well in your case it's a man who's um nice to children who pretends that he knows your folks or relatives even offering ya treats." She tries her best to describe the form of a criminal which she had introduced to the girl. "But don't be fooled by his charity...Underneath that he's a horrible monster when he gets you into his lair...." Now she seemed to be enjoying it making rather scary expression while looking at Fi. "He'll throw you around like a chew toy and make do horrible things then once he's done messing around with you...KUUURRRCCCHH!!" She stated putting her thumb directly across from the left side of her neck to the right inciting the death of the girl and stated in a most terrifying tone she could muster.

Fi wondered why Oun seemed so hesitant to answer her question, almost as if petting a file or…pedofile, whatever, was a bad thing. As Oun started to explain more and more Fi’s eyes slightly widened. Horrible monster? Worse than the masked ones? Her eyes never failed to stay widened, as if she were listening to a scary story, which is was to her. Like a chew toy?! Fi imagined some man with doggy ears gnawing on her leg. She gulped and suddenly clinged to Oun when she made the horrifying noise and gesture across her neck.
She then looked up at Oun, with wondering eyes. She wasn’t offering treats and she didn’t have doggy ears…Fi was safe. She smiled and hugged Oun’s hand a little, looking around for any signs of pet-a-files. When she didn’t see any she looked back up at Oun with a wide smile, gripping her hand a little tighter, just in case if one popped out of the bushes.

"Huhu kids are so cute when they're scared." She stated with a light hearted smile as if enjoying telling her the description though the thought occurred to her. Maybe I went too far but she eagerly casted it away knowing if that scared her the stories she heard about grandfathers days in the Yakuza would send her shivering in terror. Yet this was mostly all to pass the time as the duo walked to their destination. Though Fi seemed anxious to get out of the park perhaps due to the Oun's horrific description of the criminal.
After exiting the park and right smack dab out of it was the hotel shining like a freaking beacon this wasn't any ordinary one could tell you light shows, and gambler's all round this place stunk with corruption. Though Oun paused with Fi at the door step falling to her knee's so she could look at her face. "Alright Fi were going in since we're on our own its best we try and sneak in with a family so nobody gets suspicious eh so just follow my lead and everything'll be alright." She stated with a confident tone afterall waltzing in there all on their own would raise some alarms especially in a expensive hotel like this one everyone of the employee's had a right to be suspicious with the kind of money they were making.
Though it seemed like they were ready to begin the operation Oun took a better look at Fi and the clothes she was wearing though it was a that time of the night entering a hotel with sleepwear was kinda suspicious. "Ah...Forgot about your clothes well gotta do something there hmmm." She stated lightly as she looked down for a bit deep in thought raising as an idea suddenly popped in her mind. hastily she took off her blue hooded jacket and adorned it on Fi to no surprise it was way too big for her but that didn't seem to deter Oun as she put her hand upon Fi's shoulder. "Hold still..." She muttered as suddenly would feel the fabric shorten all the way down to her size when Oun would lift her hand a small patch of corrosion would be there showing she had used her powers for the job she took a deep breath afterwards this time there seemed to have been no consequences.
"Ah...Well that fixes the problem of your Pajama's topside of below though...Hmmm...Well were just going to haveta make people focus on your top then!" She said with a prideful tone as she took off her grandfathers lucky cap and put it on Fi as it would crown her an odd cinnamon smell would tickle her knows and a feeling of nothing can go wrong would fill her thoughts. "There now your fool proof with that cap were destined to succeed are you ready Fi?" Oun asked as they were now prepped and ready to roll but wanted to make sure Fi was mentally prepared before they took the endeavor.
