For 200 years, all has been calm within Soul Society. To some, this is not satisfactory. To these souls, only chaos and madness will suit... and this is what they have brought to Soul Society. Their numbers have torn the Shinigami in twain, leaving a rift of power the likes of which have never before been seen. The war between these two soldier factions has spread from one realm to another, Shinigami both falling to and felling these new enemies from their own home, these... Onigami.
The Quincy, they who stood by innocently, have been nearly annihilated by the escalating war, their numbers brought dangerously low because their pride could not allow them to back away. For this, the honorable archers have been forced to, now more then ever, mingle and hide among the humans, keeping a wary eye upon the war front.
Having developed in a matter much like the Quincy, two new classes of spiritually aware human have emerged, that of Fullbringers and High Specs. Using their abilities, they strive to make a stand, tired of the damage Shinigami and Hollow inflicted upon their home. Hiding among these humans are the hidden ones who watch from afar, they who wear masks; the Vizard, keeping peace where they may, at a cost to Shinigami and Hollow alike.
In the ever moonlit Hueco Mundo, chaos has been reigned in, at least more then usual. A single being has risen among them, becoming a Lord to all those who live amongst the sands. The Vasto Lorde have bowed to this beast, a warrior of incredible power, one who uses the lost relics from a time long since dead to turn his willing soldiers into something more. Standing behind their Lord of the Deep, the ten Espada are the most formidable beings ever produced by Hueco Mundo, and they, too, have turned their sights on the Shinigami.
As the madness swirls all about the many realms,many others gone astray and lost of origin's seem to grow new roots with there own purpose,their will for their own personal beliefs that defy laws of ancient times stand stronger willing to fight the tides of normality.
As the many factions begin to show their respective hands, only the brave and powerful dare toss in their chips, and only the wary will live long enough to cash out as the victors. When the silvery steel glints in the light, pray your soul can stand the tides of war for now it is your time to tell a new story....but will it end in blood or in praise?
