Description: i53.photobucket.com/albums/g45/harmony-wolf/Photo237-1.jpg
Personality: Gahrok has a strong will to survive and be solitary and independent and yet his former views of justice have been shattered. He is at a stage where he doesn’t know what to believe or trust in but himself and the here and now. Gahrok is living just to live, not knowing why or how and even caring. The only satisfaction he can gain is by killing the hollows that he so despises, no longer for justice, but for pure vindictive pleasure, and yet this nature is driving the hollow inside of him to become stronger. A battle rages within his heart for the justice he once loved and the seeming hypocrisy that he now embodies. He fights for fun, he fights for something to make him feel and he drinks to drown it all away.
Family: All dead. His past was rather far from cheery in that respect.

History: Gahrok rarely speaks of his past as most of it is very painful for him. He lived his life on earth as a pauper, living on the streets without a friend in the world. He had never known the caress of a loved one and took that ignorance to his death bead. The streets had been a harsh place, he had grown up hard and fast. He learned quickly that there was little justice in the world he lived in. He grew up hating all those around him, barely managing to survive. Amazingly enough after 8 years of age he had never stolen a single thing in order to help him survive.
At eight years old he had witnessed the family of a shopkeeper crying over the fathers body, he had heard them saying those words… that he would always remember “Those thieves! Those villains… how could they take it all away? Even papa’s life!” No… he had vowed to himself that HE would never be the cause of such hurt. He was an emaciated child, barely surviving on what little food he could scrounge out of dumpsters. He had never spoken a word until he became 12 years old and was taken in, by an adoption agency that had found him at the back of an old pizza place, scrounging through garbage. In the orphanage he learned to speak, to be polite… and to always obey. It was a harsh world where no-one cared… but he was always greatful for to him it seemed so much better then his previous existence. Still he seldom spoke, but yet he harbored a great love for the children around him. At 18 he was allowed to leave, but chose to stay to help the children and took it on as his job. Even at such an old age it would be rare to hear Gahrok speak. On his 19th birthday a man walked into the orphanage, bleeding and sweating profusely. He had asked for aide and Gahrok took him in, not saying a word, simply smiling and handing him over to the mistress. The man pulled out a gun and tried to rob her… Gahrok was furious, and for he spoke those words he seldom spoke aloud… “Thief… murderer!” his eyes burned and he took a swing at the man, the man ducked, brought his revolver up to Gahrok’s head… and fired.
In Soul Society Gahrok was furious, separated from all he knew and in a foreign place… he felt that justice had finally escaped from him. He began to talk, and his words were not kind to the world. He had shut up his heart… he could not find his children and the orphanage women in this cold world. So he became violent… joined a gang, and became a disturbance within the Soul Society. People began to fear him and his gang who would routinely harass and sometimes even injure residents. Soon he was taken in by the guards and arrested, about to be put to trial and sentenced. Then they noticed it… he had a phenomenal spirit power! He was given a second chance, to become a pupil at the acedamy but if he were to make even a single mistake.. it would spell his death.
Gahrok spent nearly a two hundred years between the academy, training, and moving up to the rank of captain(8th division, has been cleared with Masaru). He knew every rule of the Soul Society off by heart and felt himself to be an embodiement of justice. He enjoyed his work. Gahrok has only been able to achieve Bankai under the circumstances of extreme anger or fighting for his justice, never can he use Bankai against an ally of in a sparring match.
After 10 years as captain Gahrok went AWOL, his sense of justice finally contested and comrpimised. He had gone to find his nanna, the constant search had finally ended. He was loathe to discover that she was a hollow, it shook the foundations of his world, and he needed to destroy it… like all hollow, destroy the impurity that was the only woman who had ever cared for him. He nearly lost his life in the battle, but something saved him.. pushed past his compassion, his inner hollow. Gahrok’s hollow gave him the power to endure when his zanpaktou refused to cut his former ally and when the battle and bloodlust was over Gahrok was left in his own personal hell, for the concept of a hollow that resided inside him utterly destroyed his sense of justice. He knew he had failed, he knew he couldn’t live with himself, and so he took his zanpaktou to himself, in an attempt at suicide. But Wolfe would not kill his master and the hollow inside of him fought to save itself, the zanpaktou broke. And now for ten years has Gahrok been in self exile, consumed by self loathing and the disillusionment. No longer does he fight for justice, or even believe in the principle. There is little he lives for, most of the time he wanders the streets with a drink in hand, fighting simply to feel. He cannot control his hollow and no longer can he fight with his bankai, or even the same shikai, for his broken sword can only afford him a little power and what little power it does is hard to use when the hollow fights for dominance.
