Name: Teru [Yes, I do realize that is not a female name] Hikate
Alias: Teru
Age: 15
Gender: Female
Faction: Human
Rank: N/A
Description:
Somewhat small standing at about 5’2”, and weighing 92 lbs, she’s one that could almost be mistaken for a twelve year old. She calls her body healthy from many forms of dance routines—and outside training. Her short black hair ends almost an inch below her shoulders, the strands messy like a dogs mane, the ends split like she just doesn’t care. Normally she would be found in regular seven jeans, a simple jacket and a shirt. Barely fancy, she would rather be a person not on the stage, but in the back.
Personality: Teru would be defined as strange and satisfying. Normally she is down to earth—not exactly the ‘brightest’ person in the pack, nor the strongest—but creative and reasonable she is. She is quick when it comes to making things up—especially when it deals with arts/dance/or music. Emotional whenever it comes to any type of sound—she would normally spend hours, or even days on her piano simply trying to create a piece. Day dreamy and in her own little ‘world’, she is prone to completely ignore the simplest movements or sound everyone around her makes.
She doesn’t know when to stop. Because she’s 90% of the time clueless, she would find herself muttering the ‘wrong’ things, or saying things she would regret later on. Oblivious to her own actions she would do things at random—[as in tripping, falling on her face, sleeping on the schools roof, ect…] She’s mellow when she wants to be—hardly ever bothered when it comes to someone ‘hating on her’. Happy and sincere, she’s simply her own emotion—an extension of self, just Teru.
Family:
Mother; Chiyo
Father; Masamune
Brother; Hiro
Weapon: N/A for now.
Stats
Reaitsu: 70
Attack: 10
Speed: 60
Weapon Skill: 0
Experience: 0
History: Teru has lived well.. a normal life. Despite the fact she could see souls around her that no one else can. Since she was five years old had she noticed them—often having conversations whenever she walked past. Her mother assumed she was talking to her ‘imaginary friends’, like of course, all young children have imaginary friends, don’t they? As she grew up her mother always tried to get her out of that ‘stage’—it never really worked. Even the more Teru tried to convince her mother spirits were real—the woman never believed her. Neither did her father.
Seeing as the young girl would ‘talk to herself’ between courses, they enrolled her into dancing thinking that would distract her from an un-normal mind. It worked, and she loved it. Music and the motions of the body would move her deeply every time she took a jump—collapse or recovery. Another activity she was brought upon was the piano—something that she could get lost in with a simple tune—endless sonatas filling her heart with sadness and sorrow… Anyone that was smart enough could tell she was a rather sentimental girl who simply loved to express herself through various activities.
As she grew older she still could see the souls clearly as before. Yet at that moment in time would she keep them to herself—as if she was trapped in her own little imagination only her could see. It was until a strange aura appeared when she turned twelve. A large creature [hollow] intruded the city—and before her own eyes had she watched as her brother Hiro come devoured in its grasp. It completely shocked her—the fact the hollow was there, or even they existed. She had hid away from the hollow, attempting to tell the truth about what had just happened to her parents. Like always, they hadn’t believed her one bit—Even as the mopped over his sudden disappearance.
High school for her was just like any stage of her life… She wasn’t exactly the ‘talkative’ person I the class. Probably the one that was branded as weird, yet a bit delightful, yes. Spacing out at most times she wouldn’t get the greatest grades… Most of the time daydreaming in class, or writing random pages of nothing-ness on a blank piece of binder paper. Teacher barely gave any recognition to the peaceful one… no one ever does.
