Many boxes. Many buildings. Not many people. Autumn slid the heavy door of the nearest warehouse shut behind her before she lost the ability to do so. Her limbs felt heavy the more the nightmares and daymares pressed in on her.
Terror. Anger. Rage. Love.... Defeat. She did not know where these thoughts and memories came from, she did not care. As far as she did care, she wanted them gone. They had plagued her for over 500 years, and they only got worse.
She falls to her knees as any remaining control over her reiatsu slips away. Numbly, she pulls her crimson coat around her tightly. Subconsciously, she did this to ward her from thoughts and memories that were not her own, but in reality it just showed weakness.
A battlefield. A War. A prince. And the bodyguard sworn by oath and blood to protect him. Autumn lets out a cry of pain and rage, a palm pushing against her temple forcibly. If it were just these images she might have been alright, but her zanpakutou spirit manifested before her and just seeing him.. it.. Made her skin crawl all the more.
The black and white striped body of the spirit warped and bent as it had no solid mass. The body was thin and wiry, and was most of all: sharp. It's hands appeared to simply split from the arms and taper down to points at the ends of it's fingers. But it's empty eye sockets bore into her being. It's white, hollow-like face, featureless except those wide and empty sockets, moved from side to side in tandem with it's ever moving body.
After so many years of being able to see it and to call it's name she nearly wished she couldn't. Autumn knew that looking at Hakkyou was meant to be a look into her own soul. Was her soul so twisted and dark that it had turned into a screwed up version of a hollow and left the rest of her behind to rot?
You know that your enemies draw closer...
With no mouth, Hakkyou's voice seemed to just appear around Autumn. All around her as he shook and moved before her eyes. He merely said one statement and it had Autumn's eyes widening. She did know the Shinigami were coming, had come, will come again. But she had tried to forget, tried to push it out of her mind. Of course, Hakkyou  wouldn't allow that. A growl escapes her lips as her gaze hardens into a glare.
Either fight and kill them all... Or run again...
She snapped, yelling back at the creature that was a part of her soul, "And where would I go? I've nowhere left! This is the only place I have and it's barely even a place to call mine!"
Damn that Arrancar for turning her mind to turmoil. Damn the Shinigami for encroaching on what she had claimed. And damn Clyde for understanding some of her hate. Damn them all for not making anything easier.
The human... He can either weaken you... Or... Make you stronger...
She wished he didn't make sense. She wished Clyde was just another human, faceless and useless. But he wasn't. It wasn't love she felt for the boy but maybe something just as powerful. They had an understanding, twice. He wasn't just a human because deep down he had suffered loss and strife. She had too, though she felt to only way to connect herself to those feelings were to believe her nightmares where really hers at some point.
So many decisions. Stay and fight or run and lose everything? Hakkyou's last words brought up even more disturbing and dark thoughts, her mind at the moment had no trouble accepting each. Stay, kill the shinigami and then kill anything that has a chance of hurting Clyde. If he's safe, maybe her mind would rest.Â
Hakkyou's face draws even closer and she shuts her eyes tight. The light ghosting of fingertips rests on her shoulder and she knew it to belonged to the twisting figure.
As she sits on the warehouse floor, the second hand slides up into her hair and she screams. Her eyes shut even tighter as she let out her rage, confusion, hate, and everything else as her reiatsu flared.
She screamed until there was nothing left. Had she cared, she may have thought about how much attention this could bring. Anybody spiritually aware in a large radius had to of heard or felt that... Â Â

Kyoshin had been close enough to the warehouse to hear the screams, but they failed to pique his interest. Just humans again, he thought. Humans were so boring, unless he counted Clyde... And then Autumn's Reiatsu flared. He could tell it wasn't exactly a Shinigami's Reiatsu, it was so full of violence and confusion, but it wasn't a full-blown Hollow's Reiatsu, either. Maybe it was something like that Vaizard, Kessin. Anyhow, he was now interested.
In a few sound steps he was in the warehouse, and immediately felt the Reiatsu's oppressive force. It wasn't concentrated on him, so he didn't have much trouble moving, but it let him know even before he used his Pesquisa that he might was to avoid a fight with this being. He sat himself on the very top of a large stack of crates, his legs hanging over the side as he curiously gazed upon Autumn. Something told him it would be rude to interrupt her, but he quietly said to himself, "She's certainly interesting..."

Autumn's screams subside, and her hands fall away from her head. Her throat hurt, her mind was numb and she felt a lot better. She sits there with her head hung just breathing for a bit. But Hakkyou, her Spirit, looked up at the arrancar with its wide and empty eyes. It's fluid body rocked from side to side at he merely watched him from below.
Lurking in the darkness, looking for prey...
The hiss of a voice seemed to come from the room itself. Autumn's head slowly rises as the voice. She didn't want anymore riddles. No more screams. The scream reminded her of something she had dreamed but this was different. She slowly opens her eyes to find that Hakkyou wasn't staring at her, this made her feel a bit better but more or less drew her attention to what he was looking at. Her eyes move up the crates until they focus on a figure there. She would have called out to him, but frankly she didn't want to speak and her throat was raw enough she didn't think she could. Keeping her eyes on him, she pulls herself to her feet as if her body was tired of the taxes her mind had put on it.

Seeing he was noticed by the girl, Kyoshin slid carefully off the crates and dropped to the ground below, some fifty feet. Normally he would slow his descent, but instead he landed full force on his feet, cracking the concrete as he bent his knees to lessen the impact on himself. He rose to his full height with his hands in his coat pockets and looked Autumn in the eyes, curious about the girl but unsure how to read her. Emotions weren't exactly his forte, he hadn't had a heart for over, what, five hundred years?
"Impressive Reiatsu," he commented, taking a few steps forward with a confident half-smile on his face. "Are you a Vaizard?"

Autumn tilts her head a bit to the side as he jumps down. She narrows her eyes a bit, trying to read him as well. His strange confidence just seemed to emanate from him. She lightly adjusts her red coat over her white onigami robes, making them lay flatter. She refocuses enough on what's going on to pull some control on her reiatsu. Her mind was still racing, but things started making less sense again as she tried to understand why the man was here as well. Her gaze swept over him before she spoke. She spoke quietly and focused on not sounding strained, "No." Was her very simple reply to his question. "Who are you? And why have you come?"
While, until now, she had been trying to be more social, she had only met a small handful of people. This man was not among them. Though, she reasoned, she couldn't have met everyone in such a short time. She continued to stand before him, her arms crossing over her chest, the natural position giving a sort of comfort.

"Kyoshin Agotar, Second in Command over Hueco Mundo," he responded, never tiring in the sound of his name. "I sensed your power, and was curious. You could consider me new to this world, so I'm still... meeting everyone."
He stepped just a bit closer, truly intrigued by Autumn now. She was the strongest being he had seen besides Jin, which instantly earned her some of his admiration, and he hadn't a clue who or what she was. Suddenly, his smile would seem almost mischievous as he asked, "You don't happen to know a human by the name of Clyde, do you?"

Autumn couldn't help a slight smile that came to her lips as Kyoshin introduced himself, "Ah... Another arrancar... It seems I run into your kind everywhere I go." She says this as if she's more curious than anything else.
She watches him as he steps closer, her eyes narrowing at the mention of Clyde, "Strangely enough, I do know a human named Clyde." She looks more curious, her head tilting back to get a better look at him, "Why do you ask of him?"

"I just tested him," Kyoshin replied casually. "He certainly has potential. That's why my master is targeting him. Possibly why he brought us to this world, to draw Clyde out."
If Kyoshin knew about personal space, he probably wouldn't be standing as close as he was to Autumn. The tip of his sandals were about a foot away from hers, and he was almost leaning forward. "He may try and hurt the human, but he doesn't want to destroy him, yet, anyway. He just wants a rival. The more reasons he can give Clyde to hate him, the better, in his eyes."
While his voice had a casual air to it, his eyes were rather serious as he spoke to Autumn, as if trying to underline the gravity of the situation. He was very curious of the girl's reaction, as it might betray her relationship with Clyde, and the more he could draw from her the more he could calculate the outcome of future events. He still didn't know who or what she was, but figured he should let her respond before asking anymore about her.

Autumn's eyes narrow when he mentions fighting Clyde. She steps back a bit, to give herself some space from him. She never had liked people being close. Unconsciously her grip tightens on her arms, her teeth gritting to make a bit of a snarl, "Your master..." She hisses out, "Your master had better watch what rivals he seeks..."
Any attempt of being social had drained from her voice, it was ice cold and near a growl. She shifts a little, her stance widening a bit, her coat shifts a little as well, her Zanpakutou becoming a bit more visible. She seemed to have recovered from whatever had been ailing her mind before, she shoved it all away when she perceived the new "threat" to the one she become protective over.

"My thoughts exactly," Kyoshin responded, grinning in his head as he spoke. "I'm rather hoping Clyde will be able to hold up against my master, though. I've tried to warn the human, but he may require some... assistance from his allies if he wants to protect this town."
He noticed her Zanpakuto hanging by her side, as well as her sudden increase in agitation, and reasoned she could be close to Clyde, or at least know him on a personal level. This was playing out nicely, he was please that Clyde had such a strong ally. He didn't intend to use or manipulate Autumn, in his mind he reasoned he was only setting events in motion. "If I may ask, what is your name, and have you fought many Arrancar before?"

She shakes her head once, a very short but clear motion, "No, I've not fought Arrancar. I've met only one, Sven, and that was on much more...friendly...terms."
Her head lowers a bit, looking up at him almost now. Her reiastu started raising again in chaotic and angry bursts, this time much more focused on the figure before her, "I am Autumn, and I do not take lightly to the threats you are implying."

"Well, Autumn," Kyoshin said, grinning hungrily and stroking the grip of his sword with his right hand, "Do you want some... first-hand experience?"
He could feel Autumn's Reiatsu starting to focus on him, and tried to hold up to the pressure without showing it. He had no intention of looking weak now... He rather liked the way Autumn looked as she was getting angry. People looked nice when they were angry, pity Arrancar didn't get mad.
"I can show you the ways of the Hollow, as I showed Clyde. Perhaps you'll last longer than he did..." The last comment was made to incite Autumn further. He didn't want to manipulate her but he was seriously looking forward to fighting her, and wanted to see her get even more angry. Maybe he would pick up some clues about Shnigami powers, or whatever powers she did have...

Autumn turns her head to the side, all of a sudden she looks curious, but the rage still boiled in her, "First hand, you say?" A sick grin twists her lips for a few brief moments before she hears mention of Clyde again. Her grin drops, and her head tilts to the other side. Her eyes narrow a bit as her lip curls slight in a snarl.
"A Hollow's mind isn't so very different from my own, at this point. At least that's what I fear. Shouldn't you be more worried about the shinigami? Not some human and his allies? Do you think they've already come? Wouldn't they be more of a challenge for your tastes? With them gone wouldn't you have more room to roam? Honestly, so would I, but now you've gone and pushed a little too far."
Her reiatsu pushes at him even more as her gaze becomes more intense. She reaches into her red coat, pulling out two pins, slowly. They seemed to be a simple black wood and with them she inned her hair back messily. Her narrowed eyes not leaving him, even as the steps out of her wooden sandals. She was preparing for a fight she didn't want to have to participate in, but Clyde had been threatened, and even if he hadn't been, the Arrancar before her made it clear he intended to fight her.
Autumn hated shows of power. In the end they don't prove much of anything, other than who has more or more powerful friends.

Kyoshin finally fell to his knees, having to look upwards at Autumn as she pinned up her hair. He replied, "Oh, the Shinigami came alright. I was the one who sent them back where they came from."
This was only truth in part, as while he had critically injured the Shinigami Captains he had encountered, he'd been forced to retreat before the battle had come to a close. He had still considered the fight a victory, as he'd been hopelessly outnumbered by his foes and he'd beaten the Vizard Zakura before facing the Shinigami onslaught, but that was just his ego justifying itself.
"If you're ready, I'll start," he said with a grin, charging a black Cero in his mouth while kneeling before the Onigami. He unleashed it on her, then tried to use his sword to push himself off the ground and back to his feet, which would be easier if Autumn had let up the pressure on him.

Autumn couldn't remember the last time she fought, it had been so long. She could only hope her reflexes and hadn't become rusty. A black energy formed in his mouth even as he was pinned beneath her pressure. She didn't know exactly what it did, but felt that she didn't really to know first hand quite yet.
The black orb releases from his mouth and she flash steps behind Kyoshin, her index finger placed on his back as her Reiatsu slowly let up on him. With one cold word she would let him be sent flying, "Byakurai." The cero he fired had blasted through crates, almost as a warning to what was to happen to him. Lightning shoots out of her finger, straight into Kyoshin's back.
She pulled her reiatsu back near completely, as she stood just about where he used to be kneeling. Her hand fell to her side as she stood there, coolly assessing the new wreckage.

The difference in their power became more fully evident to Kyoshin when he felt Autumn's Kidou coursing through him. He had guessed as much by using his Pesquisa, but this just underlined the point for him. He was sent crashing through the crates and broke through a wall before he stopped and rose to his feet, smoking all over. His skin was unbroken, but he had taken some serious burn damage to the spot that the Kidou had hit him, and his muscles felt ridiculously sore... Yes, she'd be perfect.
"Nice," he laughed, "So, what exactly are you? I recognize that as a Kidou, one of the Shnigami's powers, yet you tell me you're neither Shinigami nor Vaizard. You.. intrigue me."
After he finished speaking he would fire a flurry of Bala her way, basically bullets make of Reiatsu, compressed to the size of a fist and made to deliver impact damage. They were like Cero in a way, but they charged, fired, and traveled nearly twenty times as fast. After that he would Sonido forward, using his Reiatsu to launch himself though the air and break the sound barrier, timing it so he would arrive and slash at her barely a second after the Bala reached her.
He assumed she had Shunpo, or some form of it, so he paused a second after his initial attack to assess her current location, before charging a Cero in his mouth and firing it at her as a massive beam of weaponized Reiatsu. It's sheer energy was capable of incinerating almost anything, but somethign with enough Reiatsu would be able to reduce the damage taken from it considerably...

Autumn watched him carefully as he came back toward her. Her eyes stayed focused on him as she slowly raised her hands up in front of her, ready for defense as he began questioning her. There wasn't any time to answer him, as he fired at her and Sonido'd forward. The first couple Bala hit her before she could flash step to his previous place of standing. Once again, they traded spots.
With a quick motion once she stopped, she calls out, "Number 39. Enkosen." Directly in front of her, a shield of Reiatsu materializes to take the hit of the Cero. The shield drops after the Cero hits it and Autumn nearly smirks. Now was no time to get cocky. She raises her hands again, "That which lays beneath the ground forgotten, floating on a breeze of hope, flow from my fingers, for a chain to bind my enemy then destroy in a blaze of hells fire, Rage of the Fallen Sakuraba." Chains of sakura petals move from her arms and around Kyoshi, wrapping around him. The reiatsu in her body strengthening the chains, making them very difficult to break. Once they finish wrapping around him they burst into searing flames for a couple seconds before dying back out. There were only a few seconds left before it set aflame again.
After this was complete she answered him, "I am one who left the Shinigami, and survived an attack on those who would have been my allies. Now I am simply a rogue who does not like to be messed with, but you've crossed a line. I don't have many but you surely found one, Arrancar. She hisses the last word.
((Don't know if I need to say this, but:Rage of the Fallen Sakuraba- Length of effect is 3 post followed by a 4 post limit before it can be used once more. Flames cannot be constant.))

As Autumn began the incantation, Kyoshin Sonido'd behind her, using his finesse with the sword to knock her off balance before taking advantage of the opening and making a thrust at her chest. Hardly a second after the thrust would be complete, Autumn's Kido chain would appear and wrap around his torso, the chains almost indestructible due to the sheer difference in the two opponents Reiatsu. He would have to stop himself from howling out at the excruciating pain he next felt, wincing and grinding his teeth as the chains alternately burst into white hot flames. His coat was shredded and incinerated by the Kido, and his skin was burned severely, yet it remained unbroken somehow.
"Hierro," he managed through his pain, meeting Autumn's eyes and maintaining some pride in his expression. "Arrancar at my level have skin as hard as a Zanpakuto; we cannot be cut." He stumbled backwards and Sonido'd away, reappearing in a shadow next to one of the many crates before he dissolved into it. Breaking his physical form down into Reishi so that the chain had nothing to hold on to, Kyoshin used his Sombra Impulsar technique to move past Autumn invisibly and silently, settling in her shadow in his almost gaseous state.
He reformed and slashed down her body before leaping backwards and out of the shadow, preferring to do a little damage and keep her guessing on his technique rather than overusing it to deliver more damage and letting her figure him out in the process.
(Okay, I wanted to try and slip out of the Kido temporarily using one of my techniques that lets me become what can best be described as a Spiritual Gas, lol. If you have a problem with this, that's fine, I'll change it. And your Kido is still active, of course you can wrap me up in it again.)

Autumn staggers a little at he attacked her, but then she had him bound and he started gloating, she almost grins at his words, "I feel sorry for you then. You assume your opponents need to cut you, and you are wrong. I don't need to see blood to know when I've injured my opponent." he sonido'd to the side and her chains automatically followed to his location in the shadows. Flames began to start up again as he dissipated. He chains fell to the ground, just as they hit full burst and decimated the shadows he went into. She wasn't sure what he was up to, and she didn't see him already move behind her.
She lets out a hiss in pain as the cloth on her back is torn open and her skin tears a bit as well. She spins angrily, swinging the sakura chain around to try and wrap it around him again. If anything she had a chance to set him on fire again.

"Injure me, sure. But beat me? You'd be the first." Kyoshin smiled derisively as he spoke, before the chains bound him again and reminded him exactly how Autumn had already injured him. His teeth clenched through his smile, still keeping eye contact with he girl and looking like he was enjoying himself. Without warning, he would Sonido forward, ramming into the girl mid-step. Unless she dodged she would feel the wind knocked out of her, rather like she had just been tackled hard, and Kyoshin would press himself against her and move to wrap his right leg behind hers to keep the two opponents this close. The chains from her Kido would be affecting her chest now almost as much as they were Kyoshin, so if she set flame to them again while he made his move she would be burned as well, though her much higher Reiatsu would keep her from taking as much damage as Kyoshin was.
"Sorry if I'm being too forward," he joked casually, rather enjoying the feeling of being so... intertwined. But all good things come to an end. A Cero charged in his mouth and fired at Autumn quickly, aimed less at her face and more at her chest. At this range, he would take some damage from the blast as well if it hit her, but something in him didn't want to hurt her face. Merely a whim, he thought to himself.
