Karzan turned to see the spear heading towards him, eyes wide, until he smiled laughingly. With the slightest movement, he ducked and moved just to left a few inches, and the quickly extending spear passed harmlessly through his Hollow hole. Danger avoided, Karzan then used Sonido to move away backward and off the spear, grabbing it with his armored hands as his chest cleared the reiatsu charged weapon.
Holding on to his enemy's weapon as tight as he could, Karzan began to lift it in the air with both hands, and swinging it hard to the right, hoping to throw Clyde farther away from him. Regardless of the result, Karzan would fall down on all fours, and open his mouth to utter a high pitched eerie howl, while a Cero charged in his mouth. By time the Cero fired, Clyde should have been paralyzed and unable to avoid the blast that sped toward him.

"Crescent..." Karzan's movements would suddenly be drowned out, however, as the sound of reiatsu crackled around the spear; It's pitch increasing incredibly fast. The moment he would grab hold of the pole was when he would realize the point of the humans attack; the human had no intention of stabbing him with the weapon...but was attempting to get all that energy he had gathered up when the arrancar first released as close to him as possible. He had not gathered it to fight against the espada with it, he gathered it to release it all at once. ...What Karzan failed to realize was Clyde did not need to swing his weapon to use his signature attack, and the position Karzan had put himself in had left him wide open.
"...Slash!" The human yelled out the moment Karzan had taken hold of the boys weapon, before he could do anything else. In that instance, an enormous crescent shape blast would exit the extended weapon directly into the espada at point blank range; large enough to engulf his opponent in its radiating light.
From outside, the entire front of the store would be blown away by the shock wave as the gray beam of energy would collide with the Lord of the Deep. The building would be in rubble at this point, with more debris falling down into the underground area below.
Clyde stood his ground, blood bleeding slightly through the bandages on his right arm from the sudden release of energy. The extended spear had destroyed itself in the process of the attack, but slowly a normal sized one began to reform in the palm of his hand. He breathed heavily, the sudden attack being quite taxing on his body. He looked on to where his attack had struck, with eyes that still showed someone who was trying to understand his opponent. Where there should have been hate, there was only pity.

Karzan lay still, his bare torso bleeding, his vision bleary, from the blood running down his forehead. The armored Hollow skin on his left hand was shattered, the hand beneath bruised and cut, and his right hand's armor was cracking and scratched. Baring his fangs in a grimace of pain, Karzan forced himself to his feet, and glared at the human, his rage building as he saw the pity in Clyde's eyes.
"Keep your pity to yourself!"
Shouting incoherently, Karzan used Sonido to clear the initial distance, then charged at Clyde, grabbing him by the throat with his right hand, using his Mental Destruction technique the keep the boy from interfering. When he had a firm grip on Clyde, he barreled toward the Garganta that was still open in the sky. The two passed through the portal, which closed behind them, their Reiatsu disappearing from the range of anyone who had been paying attention to the battle.
