Having finished his meal, Kyoshin stood up, lazily drawing his sword and cutting through the Cero that were fired at him. As the remaining Hollows threw themselves at him, he simply dismembered them with a few offhanded slashes, then tossing them to the feeding frenzy. Looking up at the persistent Gillian with mild annoyance, he fired off a Cero at each of them, then turned and began to walk away, leaving the last Hollows to Virgil. He flicked his sword so that the blood on it spattered on the sand and left the blade clean, then sheathed it and sat cross-legged on the ground, turning his eyes to Karzan and Nero's little 'challenge'.

Deciding it was best to focus on maintaining his grip, Karzan gritted his teeth against the pain from the blaze, and shoved the pain out of his mind, letting out a loud roar, as what flesh was exposed to the flames through his armored Hollow skin was seared by the flames.
"Is this all you can muster!?" Karzan shouted at the dragon as the flames raged, "Virgil's fire burns much fiercer than this!"

It was almost done... time was almost up for Karzan. Nero shifted his body and stood up on his hind legs again, moving his feet through the now molten glass on the ground. "Your words are a pitiful attempt at hiding what you are going through... your body betrays your agony but you are almost there. How is your armor doing Karzan!?" He would ask... Karzan was engulfed in flames for a while now and as a result, his armor had just started to melt on the surface, dripping down hot over his exposed flesh and into any wounds he had. In a final attempt at giving Karzan a defeat, Nero simply fell backwards, plunging his back into the fiery, liquid glass. This would put out any fire that was on Karzan and Nero's back but the molten glass would prove to be even more dangerous, being able to ooze into any open crevice, nook and cranny in its liquid state. This, coupled with the sheer force of the impact with the ground would test Karzan's resolve as this was a damaging move. After a few seconds passed, Nero rolled to his side and stood up on all fours. The fire around them died down by this time.
Time was up. Was Karzan successful...?

(Its not armor in the traditional sense as in metal you know...its just black Hollow Skin that is harder than normal.)
Karzan roared in agony as his body was pressed down into the molten glass that had replaced the sand beneath them, but he clamped his mouth shut, and ground his teeth as the burning liquid engulfed him.
As Nero flipped back onto his side, there would be clumps of the molten glass all over his back, which was rapidly beginning to cool now that the flames had died down. With a mighty howl, Karzan smashed out of the glass around him, bleeding from several places where the flames and molten glass had burned through his skin, but very much alive, and still on Nero's back.
Breathing heavily, Karzan looked down at his hands, which gripped clumps of Nero's flesh, the holes where his claws had gripped the dragon's back, cauterized and glassed over.
"I believe this means I win," Karzan said as he sealed his power, restoring his blade to his battered right hand, "now get rid of those Hollows, and take me back to Las Noches...there are still things to be-"
Karzan was cut off, as he fell forward onto Nero's back, only semi-conscious now. "...make it quick..." Karzan managed to get out before he completely lost consciousness, his sword still in his hand, which gripped it even in his current state.

Kyoshin stood up, slowly and dramatically clapping his hand as if he were being sarcastic. "Well done, oh Lord of the Deep. And, of course, our new ally, Nero."
He suddenly laughed a bit, his expression became one of amusement mixed with mild concern as he continued, "Er, shall I be walking to Las Noches, then?"

Virgil allowed the remaining hollow to surround him, so sad that they would not be able to become any stronger than they were. He knew that they could not supply him with much challenge so there was not much to gain in killing them, they would die and that would be the end of it. Useless killing, "if they were to die let it be amongst each other," he thought, "At least then something would be getting stronger." With one final sigh of regret he would breath out his blast of fire among the stragglers and burned them to a crisp leaving nothing behind but ash. The ones that ran he allowed to run, hoping one day they'd return stronger...perhaps to seek revenge or seek a greater battle.
The chimera turned back to the little event to see Karzan had collapsed atop the Dragon, apparently succeeding in his little event. The Lord of the Deep was in his weakest moment here, as the Chimera walked towards him. He was vulnerable, hurt even. But Virgil sheathed his blade as he reached the dragon and simply looked over the lord of the deep to ensure he had not received any lethal injuries. Virgil wanted to climb the ranks indeed, but killing the Lord of the Deep was not what he wanted. Karzan was an opponent worth fighting, worth proving himself as a leader, stealing power from him now would be insulting to everything the two had worked for. When the time came, the two would fight over his authority, but it would be a true fight. No tricks, just a test of strength. "There is no denying that he has a strong will..." Virgil said, before looking up towards the dragon, "What says you on his character, Nero?"

By this time, all that remained of the hollows in the area were the giant swarm of them in the feeding frenzy. Karzan was now unconscience upon Nero's back. "Yes...my lord." The dragon said as it looked upon the feeding frenzy. He unhinged his jaw again but this time charged a colossal cero at its mouth, one that was naturally much bigger than any of the ceros shot today. Once charged, he fired it at the frenzy, sweeping it across the area. The area was covered in the cero's dark red color. This immediately wiped out all of the hollow that were feasting upon themselves and left nothing in its wake but glassed sand.
He saw Virgil coming towards him, looking over Karzan then spoke. "The Lord of the Deep deserves his title... any lesser creature would have perished." Nero looked at the other two arrancar and narrowed his eyes. "He shall keep his title and shall live to see another day..."
Once he was done speaking, Nero took to the skies and quicky flew towards Las Noches at a dizzying speed, outpacing anything else on the ground. The two of them were out of the area quickly and would reach their destination very soon.

Kyoshin was outraged as Virgil and Nero wiped out all of the Hollows, perhaps because they were stealing an easy meal from him, or perhaps because they had just ended the potential of power for a great deal of Hollows trying to progress. He scowled and turned away as the Segunda and the Dragon both ignored him, deciding it was time to head back to Las Noches.

Virgil watched his fellow espada leave as well as the dragon carrying the Lord of the deep. Kyoshin...he wondered if the espada understood things like he did. Probably not, he showed much disdain for the segunda espada and the segunda to him. Still something intrigued him about the second in command. He decided not to follow the others back immediately, instead he would explore some of the area perhaps to clear his mind or maybe to see if some of the hollows survived. If they had would heal them and allow them to escape to fight another day.
