Azerik looked cautiously at the Arrancar that was taunting them, but stayed his ground. He would love to fight the guy, but he knew it was way out of his league, and his top priority right now was the defense of the damaged Nanako.
"I'll leave it up to you Captain Lanteri," Azerik said looking to Kovath, "if you'd prefer guard duty over a fight, I'll gladly engage this guy."

Nonko had been ignoring the arrancar's words and simply was waiting for someone to make the first move. When the move was made Nonko locked with his eye. tracking his movements was easy for the artificial piece of him. Sheathing his sword Nonko quickly set himself up for another kidou. "Hadou 88. Hiryugeki Zoku Shinten Raiho!" With both hands placed in front of him aimed at the arrancar a gigantic electricity blast of spiritual energy fired from Nonko. As it did the dragon roared again with almost earth shaking force.
After the Kidou fired Nonko redrew his sword. The first effect should be taking place. If only i could see their skin. I do enjoy the sight of my poison working. Nonko smiled at the thought of having a new test subject. He had originally came here to kill the other one, but in the process came across this interesting arrancar. He readied himself for what the arrancar might do next. Even the predictable and be unpredictable.... I must be careful ((2nd Effect Countdown: 4)) |

"Understood Captain Nonko" Kovath said as he listened toward the taunts and provoking comments of the other arrancar. "Azerik, I'll handle this for now, however if a stronger arrancar appears, we will switch opponents, ok?" Kovath responded toward Azerik.
With that Kovath took three steps forward before wispering, "Blow Everything to Dust Ryuuchou Kaze" as reiatsu exploded from Kovath. Kovath stopped for a second, allowing the power to flow before completely disappearing.
Kovath quickly flashed stepped behind Sven at almost imperceptible speeds before aiming a slash at Sven. However as he slashed, Kovath quickly released a Kamisori Kaze so that should Sven block the slash, the Kamisori Kaze would still be able to hit Sven.
Outside the battle, if one would pay attention they would notice that the wind around the battle has begun to pick up.

Not expecting such a strong Kido from Nonko, Kyoshin grinned in amusement as he shot one of his Cero at the advancing Hadou, then moved into action again as the two collided and created a massive explosion. Gliding over the blast, he fired his other Cero at the Captain while he was drawing his sword, which would hit the dragon if Nonko dodged. He then pointed both of his palms at the Captain and unleashed a powerful flurry of Bala for his hands and mouth alternatively, one area shooting off a Bala as the other two instantaneously charged. The barrage would last for nearly a minute and would follow the captain wherever he moved, while about a third of the Bala were aimed at the dragon.
He could feel himself getting cold, and noticed patches of his skin getting a bit darker. He suspected Nonko's Bankai, and resolved to end the fight quickly before he got too worn out...
(My weapon boost will expire the beginning of my next post, just so you know. I'll repost my Resurreccion stats at that time so you have a more convenient reference.)

Sven threw up his claw in front of just barely in time to guard against Kovath's zanpaktou although an instantaneous sharp pressure was felt in his left shoulder as he felt something grinding away through the bone, a crimson trail of blood spewing from the wound. Sven glanced rather uneasily at the Captain before him. His specialty was obviously wind, which would prove a problem for Sven's sound. Sven quickly shook away the doubt as he refocused his mind onto this new adversary, his reiatsu beginning to experience a slight flare, as the wound ceased bleeding, an open and raw wound clearly visible.

With a slight maneuver of the fingers of Sven's left hand, an orb of bright silver had begun to form. Pushing forward against Kovath's zanpaktou against his clawed hand, Sven brought his face a few inches from Kovath, his maw hung open as a reverberating sound echoed from within his throat, the sound quickly becoming a shrill screeching as it exited, its target the Shinigami right in front of him. Sven always preferred a quick finish, and anyway he wanted to see how the Shinigami would retaliate at such close range, the charging Cero ready in his left hand for a second offense. |

Azerik simply nodded when Kovath told him he could handle the Arrancar, then turned his attention to the one that Nonko was fighting. He wouldn't be much use against the Arrancar, but he could certainly act as a distracting.
"Bakudou #29:" Azerik shouted as the commanding Arrancar moved to attack Nonko after his counter, "Tenjingunzei!"
The pillar of light would appear above the black Arrancar as he began his barrage of Bala, and the creature that resembled the Arrancar's form would soon after if the the Arrancar was caught by the Kido unaware.

Kovath grinned for a second as his Kamisori made impact, shredding the arrancar. However he was surprised however when the arrancar suddenly began to flare his reiatsu as well as begin to move his head toward him. Reacting instinctively, Kovath pulled his zanpacktou back and began to shunpo backwards. However his reactions, rusty from lack of actual combat, were too slow as he was hit by a blast of sound, propelling him backwards several feet.
However he did notice the cero the arrancar was quickly preparing and as he was being blown away launched several Kamisori into the groun, lifting up dust and debris, effectively hiding Kovath's presence. Once Kovath hit the ground, he would quickly prepare to shunpo to evade the cero if it came.

Sven quickly lowered his altitude as well, his clawed feet meeting the soft soil below. Sven begin to charge another Cero in his mouth hidden behind the thick row of teeth in front of it, as he scanned the area for Kovath, the Cero in his left hand slowly becoming brighter as it drew in more of his reiatsu.
The sounds were harder to pick up due to the increasing winds, but Sven knew this must be a trap. But in order for him to proceed, he must move forward. In a quick burst of Sonido, Sven appeared in front of the dust cloud, letting the Cero in his hand fly towards the middle of it in a bright silver hue, not only to attempt damage to Kovath, but also to clear off the dust with the force emanating from the Cero. Sven continued to scan the area as the dust cleared, waiting for Kovath to make his reemergence.

Nonko flash stepped away from the dragon's horn and let Aisunaitto take the hit of the cero. The following balas managed to come close to Nonko as he left his dragon, but these were easily taken care of. "Bakudo 81. Danku." A rectangular barrier formed between the coming attacks and it proved effective in defending him. As he found his no location he noticed Azerik had use a bakudou in an attempt to harm the arrancar.
Wonder how he'll handle that kidou... best make use of this. Nonko glanced at the dragon who appeared to be growling almost. Without a word Aisunaitto took in a deep breath before breathing out a massive amount of the icy cold mist. All aimed at the arrancar. Nonko then appeared just above the arrancar himself with his hand aimed down on him. "Hadou 76. Touji o Touhou!" water appeared to gather and freeze around Nonko's hand before shooting down onto the Arrancar. |

Seeing that his Bala were being blocked by Nonko's shield and weren't having much of an effect on the dragon, either, he cut the barrage short as he heard one of the Shinigami call out a Kido. He looked around almost lazily and saw the spell coming, then mockingly sidestepped both parts of it with ease. "Did you actually think your Kido could touch me, little Shinigami?" he taunted, turning to Azerik with a challenging look on his face. "Surely you could do better..." His look quickly became a puzzled one as he saw Azerik's face, as it seemed almost familiar to him, almost like someone he knew. He didn't have much time to ponder it, however, as his attentions were directed back to Nonko, who was casting a Kido of his own. He rotated himself so that the front of his body was facing Nonko above him, while his tentacles were extended as if they were hanging off of invisible holds in the air. He folded his arms and unleashed another flurry of Bala from his mouth upon the ice spikes from Nonko's spell, shattering them as they descended. What was left would fall towards him and glance off of his Hierro, while his Bala would continue and overtake Nonko directly after the spell was over. "Your Lieutenant's not very strong I see. His attacks would be amusing to me if I wasn't preoccupied..." Suddenly, Kyoshin's tentacles would extend towards the Captain and try to wrap around him while he was dealing with the Bala. His arms still folded, Kyoshin would then charge another Cero in each hand, and bear down his Reiatsu upon Azerik, who would struggle not to fall unconscious, let alone move an inch. "Why don't I throw him a bone?" Kyoshin asked the Captain with an evil smile, firing one of the charged Cero at Azerik. Resurreccion

Azerik gritted his teeth as the Arrancar's reiatsu came down on him, and fell to his knees, but retained his grip on his sword. As he saw the Arrancar charging an attack, he held his sword forward and muttered under his breath, "Bear your Fangs...Summashuyochi."His reiatsu would explode, as it seeped out his body and enveloped his sword in a swirling purple aura, granting him a temporary reprieve from the choking effect of the enemies power. As his sword assumed its new shape as a massive broadsword, and the effect of the Arrancar commander's reiatsu reasserted itself, two black spheres would form just as the Cero would reach Azerik, one directly in front of the Shinigami, and the other right behind the Arrancar. Azerik smiled as the blast entered his sphere, and came out behind the Arrancar. The sphere would be hidden by the blast, and the transfer of the attack would be last minute. There was absolutely no chance the Arrancar could dodge.

Kovath hit the ground rather hard before rolling back to recover. He immediately began to shunpo away as a large cero suddenly boomed straight through the dust cloud. Having sometime know to recover, he quickly assessed the situation. Close combat would be difficult seeing as this arrancar used sound. However these same sound attacks had quite a bit of range too.
Kovath opted for the long range approach. "Walls of ironsand, a priestly pagoda, glowing ironclad fireflies. Standing upright, silent to the end 75. Gochûtekkan" Kovath said as five pillars formed around the arrancar, forming a large cage before Kovath chanted "Mask of blood and flesh, all creation, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! On the wall of blue flame, inscribe a twin lotus. In the abyss of conflagration, wait at the far heavens 73. Sōren Sōkatsu" as two large blue fireballs at the cage, ready to explode and hit the arrancar inside.
However Kovath wasn't done. He launched a Kamisori toward the cage before shunpoing in a circle around the cage, firing more Kamisoris at the cage meaning that both the fireballs and Kamisoris were on a direct path to the arrancar.

Sven quickly assessed the situation he was in, the echoes bouncing off the pillars around him, received by his horns. Surely the Shinigami was waiting for him above, which only left one other possibility.....underground..
Placing his hand on the ground before the words formed around him in a dull echo, "Destrozando la Tierra....." letting loose heavy pulses of sound waves deep into the earth as it shattered and softened beneath him. Large boulders were sent flying into the air above Sven, a fissure tunneling underneath the pillars. Sven quickly dropped into the fissure he had created, running through as the rumbling was heard, a shower of pebbles raining down from above from the impact.
His feet ran nimbly across the pebbled earth of the fissure until he was sure he was clear of the pillars, before using his legs to rocket himself out of the earth back at Kovath, his maw slowly beginning to open, as the Cero in his throat was released at Kovath, a reverberation in the throat launching three sound blasts in direct succession behind the Cero fired, further increasing the velocity of the Cero as it neared its target.

Nanako's hand grabbed Azerik's shoulder as she pulled herself up to lean on him almost. "Give me.... Nonko-sama's...captain's coat." She was breathing heavily. The damage done to her was main her organic parts. Her metal parts, but not enough to cause as much worry. "The Serum...Nonko-sama...always keeps some in his...coat." She was of course talking about the Regenerative Serum. Inside Nonko's haori would be a large syringe filled with the green liquid. Nanako wanted to use it to help heal herself.
Meanwhile Nonko watched as the tentacles came at him. Thinking quickly he flash stepped away to avoid them. As he did the dragon's teeth slammed together with the tentacles between them. It had bite them pretty much clean off. Nonko appeared only a few feet away looking at Aisunaitto as he started to chew on them.
His eyes then moved back to the arrancar and he noticed the black sphere behind him. Understanding what was happen he once again took aim for kido. This time it wasn't a destructive spell however. "Carriage of Thunder. Bridge of a spinning wheel. With light, divide this into six! Bakuto 61. Rikujôkôrô!" He spoke out loud and he spoke fast. Casting the spell moments before anything happened. Six beams of light appeared to bind the arrancar.
He is strong... it won't take long to break those...best use something stronger to hold him. I need time.... |

As the attacks collided into the cage, Kovath stood on guard, cautious should the attack fail. His caution was well-warranted as suddenly the ground began to shake as a fissure quickly appeared, quickly moving toward his location. Kovath quickly flash stepped away from the line of the fissure only to find the arrancar jump out of said fissure as a cero was launched at him. However said cero was moving at far faster speeds than possible. Reacting quickly, Kovath launched a Kamisori towrad the cero to slow it down before quickly flash stepping out of the way of the cero, still slightly hurt by the debris caused by the cero as it hit the ground where he used to be. However this battle was escalating a bit too much for his standards as Kovath whispered "Bankai" as power exploded from him. Suddenly the wind kicked up to almsot hurricane-like speeds as trees began to uproot and structures began to face damage from the sheer wind speed. However these winds seem to be confined to a dome-shaped area around Kovath. Any movement, besides Kovath's, would be difficult in this dome. As Kovath's bankai release finished, Kovath created three Kamisori Tatsumakis, miniature tornadoes that Kovath can control through his will. The tatsumakis surrounded Kovath, creating a defensive perimeter as Kovath waited to see the arrancar's reaction. As a measure of intimidation, Kovath flared his reiatsu.

Sven's body was failing him. If there wasn't Kovath's reiatsu bearing down upon him before, it certainly was now. His limbs were becoming heavier as he charged two more ceros in either hand, a third charging yet again in his gaping throat. He would persevere until the last of his strength left him. Perhaps he should have went with the wild Shinigami.
He still had the specialized Cero he was working on perfecting, but he would test the strength of Kovath's barrier first as he launched the Cero in his right claw with a burst of silver light as the blast rocketed through the winds around him towards Kovath.

Kovath watched as his reiatsu pressed down upon the arrancar. However the arrncar still was willing to put up a fight as he created two ceros in his hands, the third partially hidden in his mouth. Kovath continued to be prepared to battle as the arrancar released the cero.
Kovath quickly flash stepped to dodge it before ordering the tatsumakis to move and surround the arrancar. When they finally surround the arrancar, the tatsumakis would move in and attempt to rip the arrancar to pieces. Meanwhile, Kovath stood prepared to flash step should the arrancar counterattack.

Rather distracted by the dragon chomping through his vines, Kyoshin was caught off guard by the Kido, which in turn held him in place and prevented him from reacting to his own Cero. It hit him squarely in the back, destroying Nonko's Bakudo and hurling Kyoshin nearly a hundred feet before he regained himself and slowed to a halt. He showed no signs of burn damage or blood thanks to his cloak and Hierro, though most of the vines and thorns on his back had been blasted clean off. "Damn Shinigami," he would say, turning to Nonko and firing his charged Cero at him. "You're all the same..."
His eyes started to burn with real hatred as he shouted, "What gives you right to murder my kind? What puts us so far below you, that you may destroy us without a shred of remorse? Hollows do not kill without reason, but you... You slaughter innocents, and gain nothing from it! How is that justice?"
He would suddenly charge to a location that wouldn't make sense to Nonko, or to any of the Shinigami. When he was basically as close as he could be to everyone present, he would shout out, "Umbrio Horizonte!" and everyone there would be enveloped in darkness, even the hidden Kazine.
His physical form would scatter as Reishi, becoming present throughout the entire sphere, as his true attack would finally begin. A huge mass of tentacles would appear inches away from Nonko, too close for his dragon to be effective and too numerous for his sword to fend off, for even if they were cut, more would grow in their place. Completely unseen in the darkness and not giving off even a sound, they quickly constricted around the Shinigami, holding him in place and preventing him from flash stepping or changing location in any way. Unless he somehow freed his arms they would be tied to his sides by the mass of tentacles as well. They would continue to appear around Nonko, and within moments, he would be tightly bound by no less than thirty tentacles, and would be unable to see a thing in the pitch dark.
That's when things would get dangerous for Nonko. Thorns six inches to a foot long would sprout from the vines raveled around the Soutaicho, stabbing into his body and injecting him with Kyoshin's Reiatsu poison, which would cause him a searing pain in all of the stab wounds.
(OoC: Alright, I'm not entirely sure how to break out of a Bakudo, so I assumed a Cero hitting me and the prison, as well as my added strength, would shatter it quickly enough.)

This will be a pain... Nonko's first thought was when he realized what had happened. Looking around and seeing nothing he closed his left eye and just focused on using his right eye. It wasn't very clear, but he could see outlines. The dragon, the others, and... Before he realized it he was surrounded by the tentacles and soon was being stabbed by some kind of thorn almost all over his body. In pain and hurt Nonko spit out blood. It had been a long while since he had felt pain like this. Not since the war.
Suddenly Nonko heard the roar of the dragon. It more or less snapped his mind from the past feelings and back into the present pain. Quickly realizing that his left arm was undamaged by the thorns cause they could not pierce it. Soon the blade in his arm shot out and combined with his zanpackutou he cut himself free for the moment.
"Stupid little hollow. Have I made you mad?" Nonko's voice seemed to change in tone. He didn't sound like he did before. Now he sounded almost happy despite just being put through so much pain. "Lemme correct you." He started. "I see you as something more then an enemy, more then a opponent. I don't look down on you, I look at you."
Raising his head and looking up to where he was sure the sky was. He shouted, "I see you as living subject who actually may live through my experiments. THAT ALONE! SHOULD EARN PRAISE!" As Nonko finished talking the dragon landed somewhere behind him. The chilled feeling of the dragon's breath covered over Nonko. It felt good to him. It seems that within the moments of pain. He had lost some control over his own mind.
"Now... I wanna watch when you turn to ice." ((Bankai poison effected halted on Kyoshin. Sven will now feel some numbness as the next effect. 6 post 3rd.)) |

Azerik tossed the Haori to Nanako, now that Kyoshin was distracted with Nonko. Pushing himself to his feet, he looked up just in time to see the darkness envelop them all. At that moment, Azerik summoned 3 more black spheres and aligned them by instinct, so that they formed a circle in around himself an Nanako, Azerik readied his sword in case the Arrancar's attacks should get around it. "This could get ugly," Azerik said partly to himself, and partly to Nanako, "I've never seen...or rather heard the Captain get this worked up before...see if you can find the serum...and keep on your guard."
