Onigami..." Sven let the word roll across his thoughts a few times, he had heard of them somewhere before, most likely on one of his escapades in Karakura as a Adjuchas pup. The most he knew was that the empire fell to its demise, the remnants of the once great nation now hidden among the masses.
"Can't say I have very many allies myself." Out of all the beings Sven had met, there was only one he had any sort of compassion for, that one being the current Second in Command Agotar, although it was more out of gratitude than anything else. He was the one who had offered him power as he stood on all fours over the slain corpse of a Vasto Lorde who had taken everything that he had left. When all had turned dark, he appeared as a messiah, pulling Sven out of his despair.
Turning his gaze towards Clyde, he returned the same cold gaze he was receiving. "It isn't necessarily the fact that I willingly joined Karzan, it's more accurate to say I've joined due to having nothing more to lose, the last Hollow I have any kind of respect for being the Second in Command. He pulled me out of a life filled with anguish and for that I am indebted to him. And personally, I don't see such an existence as good and evil. And don't misunderstand me, I'm not opposed to harming humans, it's just I have no reason to. If it's unnecessary to begin with, why go through the extra effort if the ending result will be the same regardless? I'd rather conserve the energy..

Satisfied, she turns back to Clyde a bit, wondering how he had been since thier first meeting, "You've been keeping safe, yes?" The bartender slid her a third cup as she slid her empty cup away. How long would it be until she felt an effect from the sake? She didn't feel much anymore, but Clyde had chipped away at the ice around her heart, just by being a kindred soul.
She smiles a little, she had never really been one with enough sway to stop anything, not that she had tried much. But there was a sense of having a purpose, even for just this brief meeting. Something Sven had said hit her a little close to home. Her eyes shut a bit, just in thought, "Sven, perhaps your first despription of me was very accurate... Somewhere between Shinigami and Hollow." Just a look at the manifestation of her zanpakutou could confuse anybody, even Autumn. The lithe, hollow-like body of the spirit had many times made her question why she had been standing in Soul Society to begin with. She shakes her head, drinking half of her new cup in one gulp.

He listened to what Sven had said not showing anymore anger towards him. This arrancar was odd, he fought for someone because he had nothing to lose. He wasn't against harming innocents, but unless there was something to gain he didn't. It was almost as unnerving as the bar. "So long as you do not harm anyone, I will not fight you. We could talk if you wish...or not; only when you chose to hurt an innocent will my stance change...until then, you could be a shinigami, hollow, or just another spirit. It wouldn't bother me." The boy explained his stance on the subject somewhat, his expression changing to a much more casual one and was not nearly as threatening as before. It really had nothing to do with the hollow themselves, but they were always the ones attacking humans. Clyde had taken Tsukiko's purpose to fight those who would harm humans, whether it be hollow, shinigami, or something else entirely, it didn't matter. It didn't matter to Clyde that Sven was a hollow, only if he was dangerous or not.
"I have been, yes. Thanks for asking." He said honestly, taking another drink from the cup shaking his head a bit from the taste again. "My recent fights haven't made it easy...but nothing worth fighting for should be gained easily." He spoke sincerely as he finished the drink. It made him feel a bit dizzy, but for the most part he was okay. "I hope you have been safe as well." He asked her with a friendly smile. His eyes showed a light glow, kindness only a friend could have. "Being...between Shinigami and hollow puts you right where I stand, and that makes you fine by my book." He grinned with a light laugh as another drink was dropped off. He wasn't ordering any, why did this guy keep serving him?

Pulling off the glove that covered his left hand, Sven brought it in front of his face, much like a display at what he was, the hole in his outstretched palm stretching, as one of Sven's tranquil silver eyes leered through the hole towards Autumn and Clyde. "Of course, feeling such despair, and lust, I can recognize the solitary serenade that others' hearts may play. While I'm not too familiar with most emotions, I suppose I can replicate what is known as sympathy. This hole just symbolizes those feelings that were lost."
While they began to converse amongst theirselves, Sven glanced towards the glass of wine, small ripples forming across the golden surface in varying frequencies. For a brief moment, his eyelids closed, letting the sounds around him engulf his senses. The steady beating of the drums...... the melancholic vocals of the singer..... The chords struck across the guitar......The tapping of feet as they trampled about...
For a brief moment, Sven went into a trance, old memories coming back to him, some familiar, others he was unable to place. One in particular seemed to eat away at him. Mangled bodies strewn across the streets, their glossy eyes staring blankly towards him as if asking for his help. He wanted to give it, but he couldn't seem to move his limbs. Screams rang out amongst the panic, a black garbed demon seen swinging a large sword around as it carved into the flesh of these people who seemed so familiar to him, yet he couldn't place their names. The man then turned to him, a fiery glow in his eyes as Sven heard himself let out a shrill scream as the sound of something splashing against the pavement was heard, the whole world seemed to be spinning, as a boot came crashing down onto his skull.... Sven quickly came out of his trance, his eyes darting wildly around his surroundings, his face contorted in a look of agony as he slowly realized where he was. Nightmares were a common occurrence to him, this one itself had played through his head on several occasions, a remnant of who he had used to be.

Autumn just shakes her head, absolutely nothing had happened to her since their first meeting. As Clyde drinks she sets a hand on his head an ruffles his hair a little, curious as to what he was drinking. She lets her hand drop from his hair, the whole action somewhat enduring and she's not sure why she did it.
She turns some attention back to the arrancar, " You said there were Shinigami in the realm? What are they doing here?" She seems a bit unsettled.

"Is everything...alright?" he asked the arrancar as he saw the sudden fear in his eyes. It was odd to be asking a hollow of all people such a question, but he felt it was the right thing to do even if he normally would not have.
When Autumn looked over at what the boy was drinking she would immediately notice it to be the same drink she kept ordering, sake. Though from the way he was drinking it was obvious he had never had something like it before. "A-Autumn?" Clyde was taken by surprise as her hand came upon his hair, ruffling it up a bit as if she wanted to just play around with it. The young man face tinted red a bit from the sudden action, taken a bit off guard by it. But after awhile he began to laugh as she continued, he wasn't sure why he was though it was probably due in part to his drink. "Haha, what was that for all the sudden?" He asked as she removed her hand.
The young man sat quietly after that, as he noticed Autumn seemed a bit unsettled at the idea of shinigami being in the area. He was pretty sure the answer Sven would give, and he knew Autumn would rather hear the answer from the person she asked. So he would just take another drink from the cup of sake he had been given.

Shaking the images out of his head, Sven calmly replied to Clyde's question, casting the situation aside as though it was a common occurrence. "It's nothing, just a bad daydream. They happen from time to time, and they are naught but agonizing memories of a previous era. Some from when I was a Gillian, others quite possibly of my death as a human. Is it not common to have such flashbacks of days you've come to regret and loathe."
Sven turned his head towards Autumn, his voice still at a melancholic level, although a faint trace of bitterness could be sensed as Sven spoke, his hatred for the Shinigami made perfectly clear. Originally, they see it as their job to exterminate the Hollows and those opposed to their rule and as such are stationed around various areas of Karakura. I've ran into many of them here, and in turn I devoured every lower class Shinigami I've came into contact with. Sighing deeply to himself, Sven continued. "It was a little later that I ran into what they called a doll, an artificial Shinigami, a machine that replicated every single detail of her adversary. The doll was quickly disposed of, but it seemed to have lured out the Captain of the Research Sector along with several others. So I guess you could say it was due to my hastiness in trying to destroy a mechanical Shinigami." Of course, there was more to the story, but Sven didn't want to give out more information than what was necessary to these two beings before him. He was not one to trust so easily, especially in two he had just met.

Autumn narrows her eyes at bit at Clyde, "You might want to slow down on the sake.." She says to him quietly seeing him down it so vehemently. Her eyes return to Sven when he starts to speak once more. She seemed to become angry, if her tensing shoulders was anything to go by.
She understood there were places that were commonly patrolled by Shinigami here and Autumn avoided them. But to hear that there were others that had a doll-thing going around and making more trouble... SHe wasn't happy to hear it. She understood Clyde would have no reason to worry just from these facts alone, since Shinigami did not want him dead. But it was bad news for Autumn and every Hollow in the city, When do you expect more to come?" She asks Sven, her eyes locked on his and her voice hard again.

"...Is that what this drink is called?" He asked her with a playful smile, not really taking the warning seriously at this point. "I am pretty thirsty though, and I don't want to upset the person who keeps giving them to us. Don't wooorry, I'll be fine!" He reassured with a little laugh before he finished the cup, placing it down with a satisfied grin. "Aaah, that was good!" He exclaimed. It was clear he had already started to be effected by the contents of the drinks, making him a bit tipsy.
He began to take another drink, drinking this one a bit faster than the last two. When Sven explained his side of the story, Clyde uncharacteristically scoffed at it. The arrancar was mad because the shinigami were retaliating for an attack he had started, it seemed justified to the boy. "They'll probably be here soon if Karzan continues this battle." He leaned forward a bit towards Autumn, the playful smile still on his face. "I know you're a bit worried about them showing up, but I-I'll make sure they leave you alone. The shinigami won't go anywhere near you- as will the arrancar to the humans, if I have anything to say about it. And once I face Karzan, they'll have no reason to be here anymore anyway." He tried to comfort her quietly.
"You'll see...things will be okay." He continued, though as he said this, it sounded like he was saying to himself as well. Perhaps he was more worried about this then he had originally appeared.

Sven ran his nimble fingers through his hair, ending at a few strands fluttering in front of his face, where he would play with them twirling them amongst his hands, his face contemplative,as if he was wondering the same question himself. "Stronger Shinigami will probably be here shortly. In fact, they're probably already here biding their time, awaiting the arrival of the Hollows." Sven was rather intrigued with Autumn's reaction to his simple mention of the Shinigami. Perhaps he had found an ally, at least for this ordeal.
Upon Clyde's comment towards Autumn, Sven just flashed a unsettling smile that was enough to send shivers down the spine of most people. "Yet you can't protect everyone. The battle is predestined, as long as Hollows and Shinigami coincide at the same time, the bolero of war shall be heard. Humans have just been unfortunate casualties as their world is placed in between Soul Society and Hueco Mundo." Sven's eyes narrowed at the boy's arrogance. "Do you really think that it will end with the downfall of Lord Karzan. Postponed at the very best, but another will rise to take his place and the battle will commence as it had. Surely you must have thought things out to such extent." That was how Hueco Mundo's monarchy worked, the strongest of Hollows would always lead the Espada and the entire race.

Autumn tears her eyes away from the arrancar, finishing her drink and even reaching over to Clyde's to drink the rest of his. Once both cups were sat down, she puts a hand on Clyde's back, at the base of his neck.
His words may have had more weight if he was completely aware of himself when he said it. So as her mind worked over the chances of being in a fight with the Shinigami, she lightly rubbed Clyde's neck to try and keep him aware of himself.
"I'm not sure I have anywhere else to run... I just might have to fight..." Her words were quiet and almost seemed to be to herself.

"Well then I'll stop them too!" The boy snapped back at Sven's words, almost falling forward from the stool as he yelled out towards him. "I'll fight as many as it takes..." He lowered his head, his eyes reflecting on those he lost cause of this war, because of all these battles. The sake was bringing up a much less reserved Clyde than he normally was.
"...I'm sick of losing people I care for. We never asked for your war to happen here, both sides forced it upon us. ...But I'll make sure there won't be a war to fight when this is over, even if all of that fighting...even if it destroys me. I will end it." The young man spoke with a certain fervor and passion, even under the effects of the sake.
Clyde was so focused on his own words he didn't even notice Autumn had taken his drink. As her hand came to lay on his back she could feel the tension he had. Her touch did manage to calm him though, as he seemed to relax into the hand a bit in his current state despite her attempts to make him aware. He turned his eyes towards her, a familiar look of emptiness looked towards her own eyes. "Don't run Autumn, you don't need to anymore. ...I promise you won't need to fight them, please...just listen to me." The inebriated young man promised her in a low voice.

Sven's eyes closed once again. He may not have been among the arrancar for very long, but he had seen this behavior from several others, those whom he had once deemed close and others simply deemed as his meal, willing to put up one last struggle even against the overwhelming odds. "So in essence, you will become a martyr. You will fail all those you've made vows to. Don't become hasty. Hastiness will always end in death."Sven pulled himself to his feet, his hands sinking deep into his pockets as he turned to Autumn, a solemn look half hidden by his long brown hair. "The boy's right, if you keep running, you'll only postpone the inevitable. Eventually you will have to face up to your past. In the end, it is your choice and yours alone, no one else can make it for you. Just be mindful of the consequences."Glancing longingly back towards the dance floor, Sven noticed the floor was less crowded, even the music had taken a calmer, more gloomy tone. The atmosphere seemed to change so suddenly, it was overwhelming. It was originally a brighter and cheerful, but as it had gotten later, the air was filled gloom, although the conversation didn't help matters.

Autumn takes a hold of Clyde's jacket and pulls him back, she makes sure he's sitting back on the stool safely before releasing his clothes. Though after she released him she kept her hand on her back to try and relax him some more. She looks to neither of them. Their words conflicted and at the same time melded with the words seeping into the back of her mind. The voice a familiar hiss. She blinks a couple times before looking back up at them, her hand on Clyde's back moves to his shoulder and gives him a bit of a squeeze, "I will contemplate it further when I'm alone."
She seems more composed than she had just before. She smiles just briefly as if she had completely shoved unwanted thoughts away completely. It was a method that had worked for many years and she employed it now in order to keep functioning around people. Breaking down here would do nobody good.
"Clyde... If I'm going to stay and fight, then I am fighting. And if I fight it'll be to stake my claim here and keep you safe. I'm not having you fight my battles." her smile remains soft, almost as if she had closed off part of herself completely.

"I'll stop this fighting...I will." He repeated to himself quietly, as he relaxed into Autumn's hold on his shoulder. He lifted his left hand and placed it on hers to keep it in place, still quite dazed from the sake. Although he looked quite happy for someone who just yelled out at the arrancar just minutes ago. It was a pretty pathetic to see such a strong human like this but also endearing in an odd sort of way.
The sake itself was hitting him rather hard now after having some time to work itself into his system, his face had a red tint between the bottom of his eyes and the bottom of his nose, and his voice sounded bubbly and lacking in attention. He let go of her hand, but almost immediately afterward his body slanted to his side, leaning on the spirit for support or else he would have fallen over. This is what happens to someone too distracted to be able to hold his own liquor.
He laughed quietly again and then paused before speaking up randomly, "We're supposed to be there for each other- I can...fight." He sort of said, though it was pretty obvious he wasn't completely aware what he was saying. "We're sharing...burdens. You don't need to keep it all to yourself." He hiccuped after he said this, causing him to jump a moment from his seat, but then he calmed down and leaned back upon Autumn. "But for now let's just relax Autumn...maybe we can drink some more?"

Fiddling with some items in his pockets, Sven turned his head towards Clyde in curiosity. It was apparent the boy was out of his typical state of mind. He admitted to himself it was rather amusing to behold. If Autumn wasn't standing right there, he could have had a little fun with distorting his vocals at the mentally weakened boy.
Not attempting to hold in his amusement, Sven replied rather sarcastically to Autumn, "I wonder how many he can handle before he hits the floor." Sven pulled his left hand out of his pocket, reaching for the half full glass of wine on the table, bringing it to his quivering lower lip, his eyes focused contently on the two, occasionally glancing over to the dance floor.

Autumn puts her arm around Clyde's shoulder and let's him lean on her. She rubs his shoulder to make sure he stays awake, "If only you knew what you were saying, Clyde..." she shakes her head a little bit, tone sad, before looking back up to the arrancar.
She shakes her head again, this time in answer to Sven, "I'd rather he kept his wits about him. I actually somewhat care for the boy." She smiles softly when she mentions the boy. She felt pretty good knowing that he was safe, even if he didn't know the difference.

"I knooow what I'm saying Autumn..." He hiccuped again, a grin on his drunk face. "Why would I say stuff I don't know?" He laughed, knowingly, as if he knew what he just said made no sense at all. "That's just...just-" He tried to finish his thought but just decided to drop it relaxing back into the hold the ex-onigami had on him, the drinks were clearly in full effect now. He scratched his head as if he was trying to remember something for a few minutes before finally blurting out, "I feel like I was mad about something earlier but I can't remember what it was about. So weird..." He was unable to recall the anger he was showing the arrancar earlier. If it wasn't clear that he had never been drunk before, this wouldn't certainly be the eye opener.
He lifted his arm in a sneaking like motion from behind, before it jumped up and tried to ruffle Autumns hair like she had done to him earlier. He looked like he was trying to tease her, perhaps as pay back for doing it to him earlier. Aside from this he didn't seem to say much of anything, not feeling like he had to. He just wanted to enjoy the feeling he was having now. "Aw, I care for you too~! ...We understand each other so well; when I know what I'm saying anyway!" He laughed out quickly before shutting up again.

"How weird, indeed..." At first it was interesting to see the drunk Clyde wander around, but Sven was succumbing to his own boredom. The glass of wine was lowered from his lips which glistened with droplets of alcohol, a slow sound resonating from the glass slowly increasing in frequency until the glass was emitting a shrieking noise before it shattered, imbedding several shards deep into Sven's palm. Ironically enough, Sven held out the injured hand, letting the drops hit the floor as he listened to the rhythm created by each blood droplet as it fell, a melody played out by the pitter patter of his own blood. Truly, there was nothing more beautiful than that.
Glancing upward towards the two, he mumbled quickly under his breath, seemingly distracted by every little sound around him. "Dono yōna subarashii merodi...."

Shaking her head as he spoke about what he knew and being mad. The more he spoke the more she wished she could take him home. She tries to force these feelings away by turning her gaze to the Arrancar, but her hold on Clyde's shoulder remains firm. She fell into a semi-comfortable silence as she sat there.
Then, Autumn shrinks a bit, as if under attack, when Clyde ruffles her hair. Her eyes narrow as she looks over him, in a sort of withering look. The unexpected touch was, well, unexpected and she had never been one for being touched. So she shakes her head trying to get his hand off, then reaches over to his face and pushes him away a bit. Her hand sprawled over his face as she looked away.
Her attention was taken by Sven, when he suddenly shatters his glass. In a quick reaction she turns Clyde's head away from the blast, just as a precaution. She in turn looked down until the the shards had settled. She looks back up at Sven and eventually lets go of Clyde's face. Autumn's eyes watch the pool slowly forming, under Sven's hand, her eyes becoming shadowed, "Many lives have been taken because of war... Nobody chooses who lives and who dies. Not on a specific level, anyways."
