Abel would use the flat of his blade to block the wide slash arc and began using simple blocks for the first few stabs Karzan sent, before stepping it up and putting his own power behind his blocks before outright countering one the the stabs using its own force against Karzan causing sparks to fly from both blades as the counter gave Abel enought time to send a stab, right at Karzans neck stopping inches away.
"careful your own power can be easily used against u." Abel told him and back steps withdrawing his blade back into the stance. "again dont stab wildly, but dont be predicable."
in his head Abel was thinking slightly different. he may have been stabbing at me like a maniac but damn those are gonna sting when i block those harder strikes.

"And I told you once before that attacking wildly can be just as useful as attacking systematically," Karzan said as he easily moved to the side of the blade tip, even though Abel had stopped it short, "it can throw your opponent off guard. As for my power being used against me...let my enemies use it against me if they can."
As Abel was settling back into the stance, Karzan would leap forward and come at him with a powerful overhead slash that would have cleaved a weaker or slower opponent in half if it connected.

Abel chuckled but Karzan did have a point, it just added to Abels own logic. "that is quite true heheh" He smiled once more, this time instead of countering, he would not hold back and use a useful block that had a nifty side affect even the most basic of swordsman could use, and blocked with his blade over head, utilizing the stun recoil that comes with the block, he would once again send a stab toward his left lung stopping inches from the the skin.
"hehe" he chuckled and withdrew again backstepping once more and grinning as he does though his hand now stung slighty from blocking the blow, he would have to use his other hand, to block eventually thank you ambidexterity

Karzan swung his sword as fast as he could, with all his strength, and succeeded in knocking away Abel's stab, but the movement was strained, as Karzan was not used to redirecting attacks, and the movement left him open to attack, so he too backpedaled while he could, attempting to get back into a defensive position.

Abel would lunge at him and send a strike that he purposely misses, however Abel's serious look portrayed something else considering of where the strike would have hit, the right lung piercing it if he was a stronger opponent. "this is why you need this, what good is your power if a hit like this came through" Abel told him, before simply backing off once more and settling into his defensive stance once more

"I could have dodged if this match were not for the point of practicing my swordsmanship," Karzan said, as he readied himself. "my entire style of battle depends on being able to avoid my opponents attacks. A missed attack can throw a combatant off guard more than a block if you dodge at the last minute...I still have to acknowledge that there are enemies who may be much faster than I, which is why we are training."
Karzan leaped forward, and made to slash heavily at Abel from overhead, but at the last minute, he used Sonido, and moved around him, continuing through with the attack, which was now aimed at Abel's back until he could move.

Abel caught on to the double meaning of Karzan's words rather easily and waited patiently for the blow and would block swiftly turn and using both hands instead of just one to redirect the slash to hit the ground instead of hitting him and grinned before bring his own blade to slash Karzan's left shoulder and back steps again resuming his defensive stance "dont give out your attack plan so easily, "

Karzan stepped forward as Abel slashed at him, gritting his teeth as the blade bit into his shoulder, but keeping the distance between them small as Abel tried to step backward. "I may be the type to dodge rather than lock," Karzan said as he made to grab the wrist of Abel's closest arm, "but sometimes taking a hit is best way to get in close to your enemy."
Whether or not he managed to grab Abel's sword arm, Karzan would slash out with his cazoleta, aiming for the other Arrancar's chest. The damage he would inflict would not be deep, but it would serve to demonstrate his point. He had ways of working around his lack of finesse, and would still choose speed and power over it.

Abel was surprised Karzan went for a dangerous grab and smirked as karzan grabbed his sword wielding arm and did something crazy, he focused all he had into a simple flick and release, flicking his blade towards his free hand and slashing Karzan at the same time he would, not inflicting much damage, but proving his own point, finese can win in its own right

There hits would be mutual, Karzan leaving a sizable cut on the Primera's chest, and Abel leaving a similar mark on the Lord's forearm. Karzan would release his grip on Abel's arm, and smiled. "it'll be a grand day when you finally reach this level Abel," Karzan said as he flared his reiatsu, "forgive me for this, but despite my want to learn the ways of my own sword, we are too evenly match over all for this training to make much difference, so I'm going to slow you down just a bit more."
Keeping his reiatsu flared to slow Abel's reactions, Karzan used Sonido to move around Abel and slash at him with his sword held only in his right arm, his blood dripping down from the cut. All of Karzan's power was put behind the slash, and it was at full speed. Even Abel would have trouble blocking this attack.

Abel smirked before feeling the tell tale pressure that would slow him down and it did show as when he turned to block Karzans attack, he couldnt block all of it, only managing to knock 40% of its power off, and another slash would be upon his chest, hurting like hell but Abel merely smiled. "very good, again, head on this time, lets see how much of a difference it makes when your opponent can see the attack coming." Abel said not caring that the blood was flowing out more, it didnt matter, abel was on a high, not to mention he was teaching right now, he couldnt keel over like that over this.

"Seeing it doesn't mean you can block it," Karzan said as he used Sonido to move around Abel still exerting pressure on him, "but nonetheless precautions should be taken."
Karzan slashed again, and after the strike was finished, whether he hit or not he would use Sonido to backpedal away from Abel. Defensive play was not his favorite way to fight, but it was necessary.

As abel felt the tell tale sign of sonido usage, and on instant would use everything and instead of blocking, would redirect the attack at the ground, and would send a stab out though it would miss since Karzan sonido'd out of the way just in time, causing Abel to smile.
"good good, you understand more." Abel spoke praising Karzan since for one this was almost the exact opposite style of what Karzan favors, while Karzan's own style could be used by Abel, he prefered skill over excessive power.
Abel would stay in his defensive stance panting slightly knowing that he wouldnt have long to go till he needed a drink.

"I think its time to finish this up," Karzan said as he rotated and cracked his neck, "no more holding back."Reiatsu: 200 + 20 = 220
Attack: 235 + 20 = 255
Speed: 190 + 20 = 210
Weapon Skill: 140 + 20 = 160 Still piling on the pressure of his reiatsu, Karzan made it so that Abel would barely be able to move. This was the merit of choosing power over skill. He would then use Sonido to dash at Abel, and slam into him with the momentum of his movement. He would then slash at Abel's sword arm, while releasing the pressure of his reiatsu. He wanted there to be some sort of challenge.

"Couldnt agree more hehehe" smiles before calming down getting into the right state of mind again and felt the blow unable to dodge it due the pressure he felt and felt a nice clean cut upon his sword arm, not flinching in pain merely smirking as he felt the pressure removed Reiatsu:
150+20=170
Attack:
195+20=215
Speed:
145+20=165
Weapon Skill:
170+20=190 Upon recovering, he would send several stabs his way having switched his blade into his othe hand making sure to put everything into all of his attacks from now on, fighting just as fiercely as Karzan

Karzan easily dodged the blows, using his superior reflexes to his advantage. He would use Sonido to move around Abel, and slash at his back, before using Sonido to move back to his original position, hoping that Abel would have turned to try and counter, and slash at him again.
If things got out of hand with their fighting, Karzan might have to end it prematurely...this was supposed to be training with skill after all. If he found that they were both getting too immersed in the battle, he would end it...it would be easy enough given Abel's condition.

Abel was surprised but blocked the blow to his back, whirling around hearing sonido being used, and sent a strike out to meet Karzans next attack, not caring that it was causing more blood to flow, he had a smile plastered on his face, "2 more attacks, 2 more," Abel said knowing well they both were slowly getting carried away.

"I know my own limit," Karzan said as he backed off slightly from Abel's block, "and I know yours as well."
Using Sonido again at close range, Karzan aimed to use the movement to stab at Abel's shoulder, and after the attack was done, he's pull back his sword and slash vertically at the Primera's sword arm. After this he would back off again, and charge a Cero in his left hand, firing it as soon as Abel made a move toward him.

Abel would dodge the stab if only by a hair, using his own blade to change its path to make sure he didnt get hit, and would block the attack on his arm, not wishing to spill more of his blood, having put quite a bit of force to block it
"all out I see" Abel would say as he not only felt but clearly saw a cero forming, and would charge his own and would fire it making sure it met Karzans Cero, and used the power and explosion caused by the two cero's meeting, to mask his presence just enough to get behind karzan using everything he had to make the next move count and place his blade on Karzan's shoulder, signifying a mock kill. "I win." Abel told him before removing his blade and falling to a knee, fighting the immense pain he was feeling

Karzan laughed lightly as Abel claimed to have won. It would have been a simple matter for Karzan to move his own blade in between his neck and Abel's sword before any attack could be made, but seeing Abel's condition, he decided not to push the issue.
"Even after so long a rest you are still skilled," Karzan said turning to pull Abel to his feet, "I can hardly wait to see you're real power."
