She usually has her long bangs covering up her left eye and some of her right eye. (She doesn't need to see psh jk) She occasionally ties up her hair either in a high pony tail or in a long braid. She'll do other things with her hair, but those are the main ones.
The inside of her robe is colored ebony at the bottom fading up wards to a rich purple to a bright purple.

Personality:
Serus is a cold person and extremely blunt. She rarely shows emotions except anger. You could just say she really has only two emotions: angry and blank. If you're lucky you might see a smile dash across her lips and hear a small chuckle and maybe see a glimpse of sorrow in her eye, but don't count on it.
She's reserved and keeps to herself most of the time. She likes to think things through before doing and she often won't do something reckless. She's unusually protective of her squad members but at the same time, she could care less what happens to them. She expects them to take responsibility of their own actions and if they disobey, then she will end their life on the spot. Although she does stop her blade right at their throat and thinks over it if she should or not. Basically, she treats her squad as they are disposable if they don't do a good enough job.
When you first get to know Serus she can come off as a selfish, heartless person who is inconsistent in the way she treats people. And that judgment, is pretty much right. Don't get me wrong, she does have feelings, but they're so few and far between that people forget.
For the record, she has often threatened to kill her whole squad when she's angry about something or bored. She has also gone and asked for permission to execute some of the shinigami for no good reason either. I guess she's mostly a blood thirsty monster but when you just catch a glimpse of her, she looks as if she's so delicate and peaceful.
Family:
Deceased because of the huge war. Might have an older brother running around in Soul society, but he was cut off from the family when Serus was at a young age. He's not much older than her either. And she doesn't remember him very much.

In The Beginning…
Serus was born into the noble family, Norallis. Her grandfather and parents were still alive and throughout her growing up, she was groomed to become a bride to one of the other noble families. Her older brother, Az, was only five years older than her and they enjoyed each other’s company. They would do practically everything together and they helped each other when life just wasn’t that great.
When they were both being raised, they were strictly disciplined even at their young age; they understood the responsibilities of being a noble. Serus was often told that she was a mistake and that she wasn’t meant to be. Az always found her in the noble garden with a tear streaming down her cheek. She just wanted to be needed by her family, and she always held her tongue and took what her parents told her. Serus’ father was crueler than her mother, but equally resented her. She wasn’t allowed to see her grandfather because she wasn’t ‘worthy’ to be in his presence. The only thing making Serus smile each day was her older brother.
Serus had a maid appointed to her and she was like her mother when growing up. Her real mother couldn’t stand to be in the same room with her for more than a few minutes, so the maid took care of her the most and taught her what she needed to know. When the war broke out, since her parents and her grandfather had duties of protecting Soul Society, they went to war. They all were killed in the war, but Serus was still too young to really understand what had really happened. And even if she wanted to remember her parents, she couldn’t. They didn’t play a big enough role in raising her for her to even remember their names.
At this point her older brother was also too young to understand and her ‘mother’, who was also the head maid at that time, plotted for her older brother to be sent away and raised as a normal Soul Society boy. He would need to be taught that what he remembered from his ‘other life’ was all a dream. This way, Serus could be appointed as the head of the noble family. Since it was her job already to make sure that the head of the family was well educated and raised properly, it was quite easy for her to make this plot work. Most of the other workers also agreed that it would be better for Serus to become the head of the noble family; they killed off those who disagreed and a couple agreed to take her older brother away and raise him. They thought that her older brother was a bit too much like his parents who let their feelings get in the way of succeeding. The head maid made a vow to the others that if they would help her complete this task, then she will make sure Serus would become even greater than her parents.
At a sufficient age she showed that her spiritual power was great and the head maid recognized this as an opportunity. She pushed Serus to her limits every day, teaching her not to let emotion cloud her judgments. It came to the point that she didn’t show much emotion at all anymore, because she was constantly raised to suppress her emotions. The Head maid made sure that Serus would not be a disappointment to those seeking her hand in marriage or comparing her power to others.
Serus was always watched by one of the house servants, not in a creepy way, but for her protection. They were paranoid that someone would come in and just kill off Serus in the middle of the night. They sometimes would become too excessive but Serus grew to the point where she was numb to the fact. She would often not even recognize that there was someone there watching her every move. Serus refused to treat her home as a prison and the head maid was practically her mother. She even called her ‘mother’ when she was addressed.
Schooling….
When it was time for Serus to be sent to the academy for training to improve her spiritual power, she was quite excited. Yes, it was strange for her to even smile, but she did. She would often come home after her studies and tell her mother everything and how she did. Sometimes she would be punished for not ‘doing her best’, but Serus never thought badly of her mother when she did this. She just took it as a challenge to become even better.
Serus was an exceptional student and when it was time for her to be chosen in a rank, she was appointed in a pretty high rank for her age. She did her job well and she quickly climbed the ranks, one by one, clawing at the surface. When her mother died, things changed. It was as if her whole foundation fell apart and she didn’t know what to do with herself. Others tried to become a mother figure to her again, but she couldn’t accept it. She withdrew inside of herself, in darkness. She was a robot in school for awhile and this pushed her classmates even further away. Instead of her just not caring, she would often show a hint of malice to others. She was so cold to everyone that it sometimes put fear into their hearts and minds. Her words became blunt and she didn’t mind putting her thoughts out there for people to attack. She welcomed it and then after they were done with that thought, she would insult them coldly. It didn’t matter if she knew what she was talking about, but it was done in a matter of not heart, that it often cut people.

A long time passed before Serus began to show a bit of humanity again. She was now Lieutenant of 9th division. She often enjoyed seeing people dying…when the chance was given. But no one really knew that she enjoyed it except the captain. He had a talent of knowing how she felt and it seemed that he had feelings for her. He wasn’t that much older than her either so it came to the point that he would often request her to be by his side in missions and such. She was oblivious to this because she was never taught what love was.
His feelings grew for her and it came to the point it was driving him mad. He wanted her to himself, but because she was a noble, they could never be. At one point he almost forced a kiss on her, but someone came in and warned him to never touch her again. He wanted to confess his love to her so badly, but if he did that then that just wouldn’t be enough. He didn’t know what to do that would be enough.
Meanwhile, Serus was working on becoming more powerful in the name of her dead mother. She wanted to become captain and she would often ask her captain a few questions here and there about how you obtain a bankai. He always told her the answer and was willing to share anything with her, which she thought was strange because she had been raised to keep important information to yourself especially things that could be used to their advantage over you. The captain seemed to spend most of his time with her when he could and in this he helped her start obtaining her bankai.
After constant training to obtain her bankai, she finally came to the point where she became one with her soul. A power surged through her whole body and it excited her so much to the point that when she came out of it, she had the biggest grin on her face. The first her captain has seen and the first since her mother died. At that point the captain knew what he could do that would be enough to show how much he cared for her. Her bankai still needed work, but she was so close to becoming a great captain.
Time passed and soon she was able to be in total control of her bankai and was able to call and seal it with ease. Her captain arranged a meeting in front of the Soutaicho and a few other captains so that they could observe her bankai. At this, Serus showed them her bankai and her power and how much control she had over it and after they talked for awhile, Serus’ captain went and talked to them. At a ceremony to promote her to captain, the division 9 captain, her captain, stood up and took off his robe. Then he placed it on her shoulders and announced that he was stepping down and giving Serus his position as the 9th division captain. Serus didn’t understand it then, she just couldn’t understand why he would just give up his power to someone else.
Some time went by after Serus was appointed as the captain and the former 9th division captain was found dead in his living quarters, a suicide, with his sword stuck straight through his chest. At that point, Serus began to understand.

Pitch black double pistols with a chain connecting the two together. The chain is normally about two feet but can be lengthened up to five feet.

"Eta-naru Shizukesa Zetsumei" (Eternal Serenity "at the" End of life)
Rifle with a black double edged blade at the end. The whole thing is completely black and with the blade attached, its height is 5' 7". The blade is 3" and it is detachable.

Build: Slim but muscular. he's not a twig.
He has tattoos scattered all over his body in black ink.
Personality:
Shizukesa is full of himself and feels the need to hit on every attractive girl he sees. Serus often gets annoyed at his character but keeps her temper down. She knows that if she gets angry enough, Shizukesa would probably pull her into her inner world and flirt with her. That would further anger her to the point of her wanting to kill him.
Shizukesa is basically the opposite of Serus except he is also one to seek blood. As soon as it's time to kill, he changes into a crazed monster. The whites of his eyes become black, his tattoos seem to slither on his skin, his hair turns black and his clothes become an all consuming evil thing that reaches out in all directions. A Dark purple mist also surrounds him like a toxin.
Inner World:
The inner world changes depending on Shizukesa's mood.
Happy: The inner world becomes a peaceful place. It usually appears as a green grassy meadow with a gentle river flowing in the middle. There are different types of flowers scattered everywhere in the meadow. In the distance there are tall mountains covered in snow and the sky has fluffy clouds drifting by on the light blue.
Sad: It becomes a rotting place under the ocean with wrecked ships scattered about and nothing but cold grey rocks jutting out of the sand, like towers in a city, to keep him company.
Angry: It becomes a demolished city with fires still eating away at whatever's left. There seems to be distant screaming echoed lightly from the deepest depths of the fires, almost like hell.
Evil: Everything becomes black and sometimes you can see things moving around in the dark with their red little eyes, but when you look for them, they're gone. There seems to be light where Shizukesa and Serus are because they can obviously see each other clearly. Or they're in some sort of dome of darkness, because sometimes the dark creatures reach in and try to grab hold of Serus. This is where Shizukesa changes into his dark form.
Attacks:
Shikai:
Auto Shot: Every time Serus flicks the trigger of the gun, it shoots a 7 inch length 4 inch wide energy bolt out of the barrel. This is for any time she hits the trigger of both guns, of course this uses her own energy to use.
Focus shot: By holding onto the right handed pistol trigger for (a single post) energy gathers at the tip of the barrel and when fully charged and on her second post the gun fires a 4 foot wide beam of energy from the tip of the gun (much like a arrancar's fully charged cero)
Barrier shot: by holding down the left handed gun trigger down, the guns barrier seems to cast a purple shield of sorts what can block a sealed and a shikai bladed attack once, it then shatters and can't be used for another 5 posts of her own.
Bankai:
Auto Blast: Like in shikai every time she hits the trigger of her rifle, she fires more of a sphere type energy out of the barrel, what seems to be much faster and when it hits the ground it explodes like a bomb would, causing damage for over 40 feet. Can only use this three time in one day and can't be used for another 2 posts of her own.
Full power: By gathering in energy into her gun, she release it into a powerful beam what is 50 feet wide, and can fire over 30 miles. Can only use this twice in one day. After each shot, it weakens her greatly. 5 posts of her own must separate the two shots at least, and she must show signs of vulnerability meaning, lower reiatsu by 20, attack by 20, speed by 50, and weapon skill by 10.
Passive Abilities:
Charging: This allows Serus to regain some health as long as she isn't attacking for two posts of her own. Some, meaning a very small amount.
