Personality: No matter what their rank is, Masumi shows respect to all. She is generally a very quiet person and quite distant from most, excluding of course her close friend, Oda Oyu and her captain, Ichizo Matsu. Her seriousness and stoic expression follow her even into battle, where she never takes anything lightly. Masumi is not one to underestimate an opponent. She is patient, but only to a certain extent.
She talks with a rather soft tone of voice, though she is easily provoked and tends to make a fair amount of crude remarks to anyone who has managed to upset or anger her.
It would seem that only around her captain, Masumi’s true feminine side becomes visible. When given an order from Matsu, Masumi will take action right away, without hesitation.
It should also be noted, that Masumi has an odd fascination with blood…

History
Midori Masumi grew up as an only child Tehran, Iran. She lived peacefully with only her mother in a rather old part of the village. Her childhood was not necessarily a sad one, nor was it exactly a happy one. She was, nonetheless, a lonely child. It was only at the age of 9 when Masumi’s mother died. Masumi had accidently broken a glass vase while playing in one of the rooms of her fairly small home, as though on instinct she wanted to rid of the mess before her mother had seen. Masumi cut her fingers while picking up a rather large glass segment, she seemed to be greatly shocked at seeing the seemingly unfamiliar crimson liquid trickle down her palm. But she only wanted to see more when her mother walked into the room, “Masumi?! You’re bleeding!” Her mother rushed to her side, ready to care for her injured child. But as soon as her mother got as close as possible, Masumi plunged the glass segment straight into her mother’s gut. More of the crimson liquid; and so Masumi’s fascination with blood began.
Now fully grown and alone in the world, Masumi found that her only means to survive would unfortunately be thievery. However, one dreadful night, Masumi was caught stealing gold jewelry and executed the following morning. Her soul wandered, for what had been days soon turned into months when finally an unknown shinigami came to her and gave her a soul burial.
She woke up in North Rukongai, and resided in the Kusajishi, the seventy-ninth district near the Rukongai forest. One day, a beam of reiatsu shot up from the forest. That is when the villagers began to tell Masumi about the legends of The Yajuu of Rukongai, Ichizo Matsu, who seemed like more of a beast than a man and how he lived in the forest. Masumi soon became very interested in this Ichizo Matsu and despite the protests of the villagers, she ventured into the forest unafraid, in search of Matsu. She sat down and sighed, Matsu could simply not be found. Suddenly, a giant animal jumped out behind a nearby tree, but before it could pounce on Masumi, a man wearing dirty and torn clothing had appeared with a flash step and killed the animal with a single slash. Masumi examined the man… everything about him was simply beautiful…. –Ichizo…Matsu…- the man turned to her with a glare and said with a harsh tone, “Go home.” Her eyes wouldn’t leave him, but she quickly got to her feet, “M-Matsu!” she called… but he kept walking off into the distance.
Ever since she had come to the Rukongai, Masumi had always felt hungry which was out of place compared to all the other villagers that barely ate. One day, news had reached her ears that the Beast of the Rukongai Forest had left and became a Shinigami Captain. Masumi knew she had to follow him, Matsu, and so she entered the Shinigami Academy as a recruit. She passed with decent grades in all subjects, excelling at kido and reiatsu control. During her years at the Academy, she was taught to form her own zanpakuto out of her reiatsu.
Masumi soon started having strange dreams, about being in a desert, during the night. The moon was full, and a black panther would always manage to sneak up behind her and begin pawing at her back. Then one night, whilst having the same dream, the familiar pawing at her back began, but this time Masumi turned around, and locked eyes with the panther. The panther’s voice was deep yet he spoke in an oddly kind fashion, “My name…” Masumi stared into the depths of his yellow eyes, and together they said, “Kuroga.” Her shikai wasn’t anything she had thought it would be. Masumi had always imagined herself wielding a staff, or maybe gauntlets… but instead her blade grew long and turned black yet it kept its green and gold hilt. It was also given many curves, but it was the crescent-like curve at the end of the blade that gave it that special Arabian feel.
Once she passed and finshed her 7 year course at the Shinigami academy she was accepted in the Court of Pure Souls 13 Gotei, she then worked her way to becoming the lieutenant of the 5th Division by training until the point her power was only weak compared to Matsu's in the Division.

The blade grows long and black, with many sharp curves, giving it a slight Arabian feel, keeping its gold and green hilt.
-Bankai: Kuroisouga (Black Double Fang) *locked*
Keeping the gold and green hilt once more, the sword grown even bigger, both longer and thicker; The curved sides remain but the curve at the top goes inwards to the black blade, forming two points at the tip.

Kage Dakuhatsu(Shadow Detonation)- Is a ability that is constantly activated once Masumi's blade is released, it is the sudden release of powerful dark colored Reiatsu whenever her Blade clashes into a object or enemy. The release of Reiatsu creates a sudden controlled explosion that detonates for devastating strikes.
Kagesuraisu(Shadow Slice)- Once the tip of Kuroga is stabbed into a shadow Masumi's Reiatsu is melded into it, so that when she swings her blade after pricing into a Shadow a wave of solid Reiatsu is released but this wave's power and size is depended on the size of the shadow Masumi meld's her Reiatsu into. [Technique is only affective against opponents with 70 or less reiatsu stat point then Masumi, the less stat above her's the move affective it is.]
Bankai Attacks:
[Both Shikai Abilites are carried over and can be used in Bankai form, however Kage Dakuhatsu becomes Kage Tenka in Bankai.]
Kage Tenka(Shadow Ignition)- Constantly activated ability of Masumi's Bankai which is nothing more then a more powerful version of Kage Dakuhatsu(Shadow Detonation), this version works in the exact same way but creates larger controlled explosions of power which can send opponents crashing into the ground (Available upon achieving bankai)
Yami no Gaku(Jaws of Darkness)- Is activated when the tip of Masumi's Bankai Kuroisouga is stabbed into the shadow of a enemy only, Once Masumi's Reiatsu is merged with the enemy Shadow rows of black shadow like blades will emerge out from the targets shadow, closing in on them like a closing jaw if they don't escape. (Available with 140 reiatsu and training posts with admin approval) (Available upon achieving bankai)
Tenshokuga(Sky Eater Fang)- Pure black colored Katanas rise from Masumi's shadow as she actives this technique, the many Katana then levitate around her target in a large 360 degree circle. With a Trust of Masumi's Bankai the Shadow Katana then all trust inward towards her enemy simultaneously piecing anything they come in contact in brutally. [Because of the strain this technique puts on Masumi it can only be used one time per battle any more and it would overwhelm and kill her, This attack takes one Post to set up before the actually attack can take place as well.]

If the first misses the second can hit but theres a much slimmer chance.A pillar of light shines down freezing the opponet in place by incapacitating the opponets muscles.A creature born of darkness appears and shoots towards the imprisoned opponet. Causing small cuts all over the body. Is not lethal but is painful. (Reiatsu 70)
39. Enkosen (circular shield) = Summons a shield made of condensed reiatsu in front of the user palm for Blocking. It is roughly five feet tall and two and a half feet across. (Reiatsu 80)
